Laid-back, storefront Japanese eatery supplying sushi rolls, plus lunch specials.
Yo, if you're craving some bomb sushi and top-notch service, this is the spot. The bathroom's spotless, and the food is packed with flavor and won't break the bank. We only get specific dishes from here, like the kani salad and the shrimp. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
Enjoy my first time here. Came here in the evening with a few hours for closing and not many patrons because of the weather. Food was perfect and taste was great. As for how long it took to get my order it was awhile even though there were not many customers but they had a lot of take out and delivery. Nice and mellow dinner.
Great food, terrible service.
It’s unfortunate because if they had good customer service, this would be my go to sushi spot in the Queens area.
But they just lost a customer that would have supported their business for a very long time!
And that’s that I ordered take out and had a poor experience with the lady preparing my order. She was rude over the phone while placing my order, when I went to pick it up, and after when I asked for extra spicy mayo (they tried charging me 50 cents for 1 extra spicy mayo) and to go container. Never going back there again!!!!
3.5 stars. We were craving an AYCE and saw that they were offering it for only $20.99 per person (dinner, Monday-Thursday) so we decided to try this place. The restaurant was empty when we went on a Tuesday evening and we were seated right away.
Strangely enough, the menu offers both Thai and Japanese food for the AYCE option. You place your order via the paper menu. The food is served quickly and in no time, we had all of the items we marked off on the paper menu. We ordered various sushi rolls, gyoza, edamame, kani salad, fried dumplings, popcorn shrimp, miso soup and chicken pad Thai.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the portions were kind of large for AYCE. The edamame and kani salad could be easily shared by a couple of people. And the pad Thai looked like a regular serving and not part of the AYCE menu. The popcorn shrimp was quite good. Shrimps were pretty large and cooked perfectly. The sushi was tasty although not the best quality. They charge $5 extra for sashimi and they don’t give out any free scoop of ice cream like some other AYCE restaurants. Other than that, we definitely got our moneys worth with the AYCE and we were stuffed by the end of the meal.
My friend & I spent over $35 there, only for me to get home to start eating & realize that there was hair in my food. I called the store to get them to exchange the food seeing as though I do not drive & the young lady who was also the cashier proceeded to bombard me telling me that her chef doesn’t have hair so it would be impossible for me to have gotten hair in my food. I also heared everyone arguing in whatever language they speak in the background about my order. I was told that I needed to come back in to the store to show them proof even though they were going to be delivering dumplings that was missing from another order that my friend made, which didn’t make sense to me. I made my way to the store, showed them the food to which they then turned on their flashlights on their phones pretending that they didn’t see the hair. Once I showed them these pictures the guy “chef” got up to remake my order to which I told them that I didn’t even want the order at this point I just want a refund. She got on the phone with her manager who I’m guessing was also the delivery man because she said that I had to wait for him to come back to get the refund because she doesn’t know how to do it. After a little more back & forth of me telling her that I did my part by bringing back the food & that I partially paid cash so she should at least be able to give me that back so I can go on my way. . . She changed her tone & reached into the register to give my refund & said “I’m sorry for the hair”
My problem was not the fact that there was hair in my food, the problem was the customer service aspect & how the young lady handled me on the phone & tried to argue with me about my order as if I was lying or something then when I asked for a refund she decided to calm down & try to be “nice”. Customers are always right & even if YOU feel like they aren’t that is no way to treat them!
The food was cold, and when I contacted the restaurant, the owner had a bad attitude. If the food delivered to the customer is cold, the restaurant should reflect on it instead of competing with the customer.
I have ordered takeout from this restaurant several times before. Although I had to wait for a long time, the food was at least still warm, unlike today when it was completely cold. When I contacted the restaurant, the boss said it couldn't be cold.

Excessive charges. There will never be a next time.
I loved the food we ordered for Mothers Day via Uber Eats, which did not allow me to write a comment: Futomaki, Dragon Roll, other sushi pieces and Hibachi Steak. However 3 pieces of Futomaki were not in the order! The menu states there are 8 pieces, I only got 5. They were thin cut, so I'm sure 3 were left out. I suggest sticking to what is stated by the menu, and customers will be satisfied and give more stars. Futomaki is a larger wider sushi roll known for more than 5 pieces in a roll.It is one of my favorites. Please look for the order to contact us.
Great food
The food tastes amazing!
Great food, great service .
Wish they would make it a little classier with new dining room chairs and tables .
My girlfriend and I love this place! We always order for delivery, they’re very prompt and accurate. Their food is incredible! I really recommend the crispy and spicy roll and their tempura cheesecake is absolutely sinful! 5/5 would recommend to anyone!

Ordered take out dinner combo with three rolls + miso soup and salad, and tried their pad see ew and curry puff. Everything was delicious and I appreciate the rice to fish ratio. Free delivery over $15. You can easily order online thru their website. Would def recommend Futigi, this is my new go to sushi spot!
Always great. Always fresh. Always delicious
Horrible service but best food.
Horrible customer service (this place is notorious for having really bad service) but very delicious food.
Anything I order is always really good from this place I especially love the dinner bento boxes
Worst service. They treat people rudely. Waitress with big attitude. Never coming back.
Overall i was expecting better food. It was on the expensive side for way too few portions. We paid over $40 for some sushi once and it was only for 2 boxes of sushi. The sushi was all pretty small and lackluster in taste and it wad that expensive even tho we ordered from the lunch menu. Another time we decided on hibachi and paid over $33 but when we got home we saw that the box wasnt even full, with multiple corners of the meal box empty filled with air. Tbh better off buying from somewhere else as it qould be cheaper, better taste, and better portions.
It's a small excellent Japanese restaurant that came to my tiny little enclave of a neighborhood.... By the Key food on 164th Street and 69th avenue in fresh Meadows.... Best Japanese food, compared with most other Japanese places in Queens... this is the best. Lunch specials and the best miso soup I ever had.... You can never go wrong here!
Service is terrible!! However food is good
pretty good customer service, not much talking involved, The interior of the restaurant is pretty cozy,
Got my food delivered and it came quickly, the food was fresh and delicious…prices are reasonable
Great food for the price the place has been kinda on the slump but don't be fooled by the atmosphere or the broken down furniture the food is still as great it as was 4 years ago.
On 10/22/22 I ordered Party Tray A for my get together with friends.
It was the best sushi I ever had, my friends are still talking about it.
Special thank you for the lady who helped me with the order and timely delivery.
Es el único lugar donde me gusta comer sushi, es rico y fresca la comida
Never again back to this place , I found on my plate dead fly
Delicioso 😋
The Food is expensive for how little it is. The delivery guy makes fun of you for mistakenly put up a auto generated apple address that's 1 digit off even though the zip code was provided and everything on the map is on the same address. Whoever made the food doesn't care about you. The fish have bones in it and hair too. Usually I do not write a bad review, but today I've decided to write a bad review. I do not have a good experience here and I used to like to eat here. The delivery is 13 minute late, I get that my order isn't the top priority but why did that delivery guy come up to me and make fun of me for small mistake? Anyway I dislike this experience so much that I most likely would not order from here anymore. Customer beware of the delivery guy. I would say order it only from here when is pickup order.
Loved them till they gave me food poisoning! Been frequenting this place for months now for their spicy rolls. Unfortunately, yesterday will be my last visit there because I’ve gotten food poisoning & feel horribly sick. It was good till it wasn’t.
Delicious food. Super quick. The menu has a lot of variety.
Good food and good atmosphere
We ordered a half-dozen lunch box specials for delivery, and it arrived in a half-hour. Our order was 100% correct, and the food came in hot and delicious! Each lunch box came with the entree (we chose salmon teriyaki, ginger chicken, chicken teriyaki, and beef teriyaki), 3x shumais, white rice, california roll, and lettuce salad with ginger dressing. The prices range from $11 to 12.50 plus tax, but the portions were filling, and we felt we got our money's worth. No delivery fee but minimal order is $15. All in all, we were satisfied with the food quality and fast delivery, and we won't hesitate to order from Futigi Sushi again if we're craving teriyaki.
Great Japanese food at reasonable prices
I usually dine in. Because of Covid it's takeout. Quality Japanese cuisine all the way. Expertly prepared. I hate that they're closed on Tuesdays. I don't live in the area and I make a special trip for this. Prices have gone up a little...to be expected.
The man who answer the phone was nasty and gave me a big attitude. I will never go to this place anymore
Worse service ever, after being a loyal client I called to order a delivery after 40 min nothing came so I called again and they blamed me that I asked for pick up. They said they will come in 10 min , and they did but the food I ordered was cold because it probably waited there for 40min. So I called again and the manager blamed it on me and said that this is how it should be . So dear manager this is fried sushi how it supposed to come cold god know. You lost me for sure . And btw I throw it to the garbage.
I walked in and in 3 minutes walked out. Menu is a mess and there was no one o really help me. Maybe a language barrier or people that do not know what they have to offer.
The food was okay. Got the lunch special 3rolls for $10.50 with taxes came to $11.49. Overall the food was okay wasn't bad but wasn't anything super good just normal sushi.
The AYCE buffet here is great. Bump my old review from just okay to great because of the AYCE buffet offer here.
the food literally made me and my friend sick. Would not recommend.
This place used to be a favorite one . Every time that I place a takeout order is dirtier and dirtier. So unorganized and things all over the place . So messy!
Never ordering from them again the rudest people ever took them like 2 hours to deliver my food
At the moment this Japanese/Thai restaurant is take out only. The sushi is indeed the reason to frequent this Queens establishment near Electchester, but the Thai food holds it's own. Whether you choose standard rolls or the special rolls you won't be disappointed, always fresh and featuring plenty of fish. The Thai noodles are delicious, and offer plenty of whichever protein you select. I had the Sunset roll and Thai noodles with jumbo shrimp. After gorging myself on both I couldn't wait to go back to try other dishes hoping to match my enjoyment of the first two!
Great lunch specials for sushi, with an amazing price! 3 rolls for $11-13 from 11-3:30.
good
One of the best Japanese restaurants ever . Their Pad Thai is to die for, I have eaten pad Thai out of the country and state , nowhere else can beat Futigi . Fast delivery as well , highly recommend!
Usually extremely fast service. Pretty big orders for pick up ready in 15 minutes: you can call and drive their right away.
Love the food
Good place, good sushi. This place never fails me.
I order from here very frequently. I usually get sushi and Thai red curry. Very prompt service upon arrival and the portion of food is huge.
Quick takeout service, great quality sushi
TERRIBLE. Never Got my Order! I ordered today on their website for which you pay extra and at the time of delivery Door Dash said my order was cancelled.
Amazing food best sushi I have ever tasted amazing 10 out of 10
Good food and prices.
Does anyone know what the kani special is made with, it's so good!
This restaurant is very okay. But they should really cut out some dishes they cannot prepare very well such as pan fried tofu; that was a total disappointment. Also another thing I found they expect to chillax early afternoon; you go there at a lunch deal time yet they cannot fulfill your orders briskly.
I picked up two sushi rolls both great. However I had ordered basil fried rice without egg, yet got egg. Both the Panang Curry and the Pineapple curry where just so terrible just tasted like coconut milk with next to no flavor or sauce. I would recommend against going but if you must, stick to the Sushi. I don't think they have a handel on the Thai! It's so disappointing as they are only doing takeout at the moment so feel like they can get away with bad quality. I did call and complain got new fried rice but I had to tell them we had to pretty much throw out the curry it was so bad. I had to take a picture too before we did just to show how pale it is.
I order from this place at least once a week and always order the same thing. The chicken Teriyaki bento box with Thai ice tea and it’s always $14.00 with tax $15.25. And I order this at least once a week or every other week and I always tip $5-$6. And this time (today at 11:22am) they decided to leave a note which I found very rude. Asking me to order over $15 not including tax or tip. And what really pisses me off is that I do this almost every week and I never had a issue before and they went out their way to hand write me a note.... Love this place but the note was really uncalled for!
I really like their Thai Drunken Noofle
Very good and fresh sushi. Very large menu so you definitely have a lot of options. Get the all-you-can-eat option it’s definitely worth it that way. But make sure you dont leave food leftover because they will charge you for leftover food on your plate. Service was ok, nothing special. Not the nicest staff but overall not bad.
Love this place we ordering sushi from them at least one a week their prices are really competitive specially for the high quality of the sushi they make highly recommended
3.5 stars. We were craving an AYCE and saw that they were offering it for only $20.99 per person (dinner, Monday-Thursday) so we decided to try this place. The restaurant was empty when we went on a Tuesday evening and we were seated right away.

Food pretty good
Nice service
Gets the job done when I have sushi cravings. Cheap, fast and decent quality!
Its a great all you can eat spot! They make good sushi and other Japanese food. I haven't tried their Thai meals, but it all looked appetizing and served quickly! You come in, order through a small paper menu, and within 2-5 minutes you get served. You have a 2 hour limit order window, but that's more than enough.
Great sushi for people that don't eat fish
The food is excellent.
Don’t ever go to this place. Me and my wife used to go every week besides the fact that the service is terrible and they have a minor working without a food handler certificate, they mock and make fun of all customers recording videos of them while eating (we caught them multiple times), last time we got served rotten fish and avocados and I must say we all got sick and ended up in a very bad situation. I’ll never return to this place and you should stay away too, do not play with your health people!
Love the food...
Futigi is a friendly restaurant serving traditional Japanese food. The all you can eat special is out of this world. This place has become a staple, I tend to visit here once a week.
The waitress is extremely disrespectful and lazy.
Their AYCE is decent. Good selection of sushi and kitchen items. Sashimi is $5 more for the buffet so that was a downer. The items all came as regular orders so had a hard time finishing everything. Would’ve liked the appetizers to be sample size so i can try more things. The rice on the sushi was a bit uneven in quantity and flavor. It was also a little cold but overall what i had expected from a buffet menu. Also wished they had dessert for AYCE but for a local place it was more than adequate.
Best sushi place prices are good just needs to get mackerel and eel
Good place, affordable prices.
The best! Love coming here for the all-you-can-eat menu. And everyone that works there is super nice!!
Food is ok but the servers are rude.
Love the food.
THIS SPOTS A RIPOFF AND THE FOOD TASTE DISGUSTING! One star and that’s not even what I wanted to give. Zero would’ve been my option!! Over Priced garbage, I’ve had waaaaay better sushi from other spots. It’s unfortunate this area is subjected to be taken advantage of by business. EAT AT HILAL MUNCHIES THATS THE ONLY THING GOOD IN YHIS AREA!!!
Love it
great food at a great price.
The best sushi I’ve ever had, affordable prices and amazing service. #1 sushi ever. Would 100% recommend. (I go there literally once a week lmao)
Enjoy my first time here. Came here in the evening with a few hours for closing and not many patrons because of the weather. Food was perfect and taste was great. As for how long it took to get my order it was awhile even though there were not many customers but they had a lot of take out and delivery. Nice and mellow dinner.
THEY USE OLD RICE FOR THE LUNCH BOX ITS HARD AND DISGUSTING
Loved the all you can eat sushi! Literally loved everything I got!
Good prices and good food
I had the Chicken Pad Thai and my son had the Chicken Teriyaki lunch box and both were very good. Will definitely have them again!
Not the fastest restaurant for all you can eat but their shushi is pretty good for its price. Avoid eating too many of the special rolls as they have heavy sauce and fried crunches as it will fill you up quickly. Also, be aware to not order their bento boxes because it is hardly edible.
Good food., good service.
Mediocre but ok
It was great, definitely coming back. And good prices.
Awesome all you can eat sushi.
The staff here are very friendly. You dont have to wait very long. The sushi is amazing. Prices are definitely good for what you get. No matter how busy they are they still have smiles and are polite to all who come in.
Unlimited sushi for 22.99 (weekend dinner)! Pretty good sushi and not bad service. The servers were nice but not as attentive as they should be.
amazing place great food service and prices. love it
Great Sushi. Thai Tea is amazing
Great place! Great offers! Great food!
Delicious and fresh
Food is great, great customer services, reasonable prices and we highly recommend this place.
Service was pretty excellent. Sushi was really good too. Fresh. Glad we came even tho there were bad reviews.
poor service. I ordered sushi and sashimi combo and i got no sushi but 3 boxes of salads?? Really?
Good Sushi, Good Prices, Good Service!
They have poor quality sushi & sashimi. Definitely way below par. The service there stinks. The waitress, named "Mikey" hardly speaks @ all. She doesn't even say hello. This is not a good place to have any Japanese cuisine, it is actually awful. This so called restaurant must be avoided @ all costs. Never to go there again.
Their all you can eat is boss. Miso Soup is Boss. Avocado bowl is boss. Spicy tuna crunchy roll is boss. This is a great lowkey little sushi place.
Great place some 🍣. The buffet is a must for the price. The fried squid rings are the best with some spicey mayo!
Excellent Thai Menu and tasty dishes
Delicious and healthy, the dinner box had a variety of interesting goodies, highly recommended
Good food and great prices. all you can eat fresh food.
best sushi HIGHLY recommend
This is the worst sushi restaurant and buffet. I would not recommend this place to eat. The waiter and waitress is so disrespectful. Complaint about how I have to finish 100 percent of the food. And that they always stare at you for no reason.
The bathroom are nasty that it looks like it never been cleaned before
I rather eat at the Resturant that's better than this on Springfield blvd and Horace Harding
New management, much better.
I used to visit Futigi for years out of convenience. The sushi was fairly good (get the 2 or 3 lunch roll specials!) and the ambience was typical. The servers, however, were always consistently rude and problematic, even on the phone. It was never bad enough to scare me away, but it sure wasn't fun either.
They've gotten slightly better recently, but they still have somewhat of an attitude and may forget parts of your order.
Really good food. Get the mango dragon roll. The servers aren't the warmest but the food definitely makes up for that. Everything comes out quickly to.
