Bangkok City is our go-to for Thai takeout in Voorhees! Their food is delicious and they serve generous portions. Pad Thai is one of my favorite foods, and theirs is perfect! I love how the tofu is cooked. The workers are always super nice too. We’re so lucky to have this restaurant close to home!

We have eaten here for years (literally 20). Abt 2 months ago, we ordered drunken noodles along with another few dishes. There is something rancid going on in the DN and it has built up to not even being able to order from here. One time it was a little off. The 2nd time both of us noticed it. We gave it a 3rd try and threw the entire dish out. 3 strikes and out. It’s a shame bc the food is delicious. Idk if it’s the basil/mushrooms/bamboo but whatever it is cannot be ok to eat. Be aware that they clearly are not rotating certain items. We do both dine in & take out the last 3 times was take out. The servers are not the nicest to begin wt. They are not personable so telling them would not be helpful.

The food was great! I went at a an off time so it may be a little bit of a wait during dinner hours. Most people seem to do pick up but dining in was a nice experience. Overall great food and big portions.
We loved the pad thai, the drunken noodles, the mango drink and especially the chicken satay.

So far the golden tofu is very nice!! Incredible crunchy chicken nuggets to me! Wonderful batter and fried is much better than MkNuggets! Glass noodle soup for 2, but only shrimp! Smells very aromatic.

Food was overcooked the appetizer sampler was fried to dark, drunken noodles very overcooked, sweet and sour chicken was not crispy and chicken inside was dry. Chicken fried rice was very good.

This is the worst food and dining experience we’ve ever had. The older woman who was the server was rude from the beginning. She then brought us the food which didn’t look like Thai food. I’m Asian and I know what Thai food looks like and how it should taste. Regardless of the appearance, I have it a try. It was terrible. The pad Thai was too saucy and gravy. It tasted horrible. We were so annoyed that we didn’t even want to argue with them so we just paid and left. Not only that, the server was sick which looked like cold and serving us food. She got my husband sick and now my poor husband is suffering from cold. Like where is the city health and food protection? From food sanitation to service to quality of food everything was horrible. I am really surprised this place is open because there are tons of Thai restaurants nearby that are like 10000 times better. All the good reviews you see here is probably from people who have never tried any good Asian food or Thai food.

First time ordering from Bangkok City! I had the crispy duck in a basil red curry sauce. Back story, I use to live in center city and use to get this dish at Erawan in Philly. When I moved to Jersey it’s been difficult to find a Thai restaurant not alone my favorite Thai dish. The couple places I tried didn’t measure up to Erawan and was a disappointment. I am pleased to say that I finally found my duck! A 25 minute drive but well worth the trip! Also great customer service was a plus!

Large portions, Great flavors. Had a real nice red curry with the peppers dialed down to medium. Complex sauce that complemented the mushrooms, chicken, shrimp, and veggies each in its own way.

God this lady is so rude! We order food because we were next door in kunfu tea, head over to the restaurant. Lady asked us table for two, we answer no just picking up and asked what we order? We told her and got super loud and told but you just order, okay you asked a question we answered! We went to sit down and told us we cant because it was for customers while there is 0 pepple in the restaurant. Better believe that i will no be wasting my money here

I visited Bangkok City on 11/1/23 at 5pm. The waitress (older women) coughed, blew her nose multiple times with the same dirty tissue, and did not wash hands or use sanitizer and continued to serve food, drinks, and utensils. It was disgusting!

The food is really good. I usually get the noodle dishes. But unfortunately when you order take-out, they put your food in foam containers so by the time you start to eat the bottom of the food tastes like foam. They don't put any wax paper down to help cover the bottom. Can you guys please switch to plastic containers for take out? Or at least put wax paper at the bottom. It's a waste of money when half the dish is ruined by foam. Also unsafe.

Food is always Great!!! Service is Awesome!!

If I could rate the experience zero, then I would have. First, the older woman who claimed to be the manager was very rude. First, the two cups of water that she placed on the table contained some floating debris, so we used our bottled water instead. Second, she refused to give us an extra fork, and insisted on a spoon. Third, she was talking with another group of customers in an informal/non-professional capacity for an extended period of time, ignoring her duty to attend on our table and neglecting to provide the serving of Thai peppers which was supposed to come with our meals. Our food became cold, while she continued to chat with the other group of customers for her own entertainment, sharing her private moments with the other customers using her phone and virtually showing her backside to us. We had to call her over to our table several times before she attended to us, and then she brought a very small amount of Thai peppers (compared to the usual), certainly not enough for even half of the meal. When she was asked for the manager, she claimed she was the manager, and was defensive about her poor behavior and attempted to justify it as being busy with her "friends." As the food became cold, we asked for carry out boxes, but then she refused to provide enough carry out boxes to hold the entire amount of remaining food, stating it cost money. Then she refused to provide a small container for the peppers to carry out and stated that she did not have it, which I doubt because they had provided it in the past. When finally did provided the carry-out box, the lid was filthy, and upon confronting her, she admitted that it was her greasy fingerprint. Additionally, after placing the carry-out container on our table for a while, she replaced it with another one (upon our request), but apparently recirculated the take-out box from our table for use to other customers. We certainly did not feel that it was healthy or safe to eat there.

We ultimately decided to leave after paying for our meals and went to another Asian restaurant nearby, which was far superior.

I've now visited twice for take out and it's been exceptional!! Ordered Tum Yum soup, pad Thai and green chicken curry. Asked for Thai hot and they delivered!! Great quality and quantity for all!!

You like Thai? Real good Thai? This is the place. I LOVE thier drunken noodle and usually get that. Tonight I got an eggplant dish (hold the side of rice). Eggplant, Thai basil, chicken, carrots, tofu and shrimp in an amazi.g brown sauce. The woman/ owner is almost always there and she's really sweet. Don't forget to tip them...always til and don't be cheap!

the food was okay. I'm Thai but combination is kind of too much they mix 3 menu in 1 menu. It's creative but hard to understand. And also a waitress gave me a wrong order (I ordered three flavors Tilapia fish but she served some kind of chilly curry fancy salmon). I asked but she acted like she didn't care so okay I just tried to eat ,then I met another waitress who can speak Thai and I told her I got wrong order, she said the waitress cannot speak English, but it is not a point,because I ordered in English and she also repeated Tilapia after me, so the Thai waitress skipped it and asked me how's the food. So it kind like everyone there ignored what happened and just end up with tried to service me very well at the end which is I was upset already. I can eat the wrong plate but it will be better if they accept and apologize . (PS. the plate that I got wrong it's almost 20$ btw)

We went here on Father's Day for lunch. It was fantastic. The service and food were great. Every dish was cooked perfectly and flavorful. We had the appetizer sampler, drunken noodles with chicken, and Siam Rama. I would recommend all of them.

I have been coming to this place about once a month for the past 3 years. I’ve always been polite, always tip, and have never complained (even when there were a few times I could have). Tonight I went to call in an order after a 14 hour day at work. The owner picked up and I asked to place an order. I was planning to order a few of my usual entrees and wanted to try one entree that I’ve never had before. I simply asked the owner one question about a particular entree and she snapped back at me saying “I’m busy and don’t have time to explain the entire menu to you, so if you want something just tell me now.” It was such an unexpected, abrasive, and uncalled for remark. I had ONE question about ONE entree. In the time that it took her to give that snarky answer, she could have just answered my question. And it was the tone of her voice that was so off putting. I get it, maybe she was having a busy day and was stressed, but it was completely uncalled for to speak to me so rudely. So I told her I would not be ordering and hung up. Jokes on her because she has now lost a loyal customer.

Delicious food , reasonable price and good portion.

We love this place. The Spicy Siam is my go-to dish and it has just the right heat if you order it medium spicy. My wife loves the Siam Rama. We got the Thai Steak appetizer for the first time tonight and it was cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. The service has always been friendly.

I love this place. The lady whom is there to take orders and serve is very kind to me everytime I'm there. The food comes out quickly and is delicious 😋. I have many favorite dishes which include the yum nua Thai beef salad, pad see eve beef, chu chee combo, vegetable pad kra tiem, fisherman soup, and lady in green with salmon to name a few. I try to come at least once per week for the kind service and amazing food.

For someone married to someone from Thailand who's been there more times than I can count, I can only say that the food here has no flavor and no taste. It's been so Americanized it's just so bland it's unrecognizable. It's edible. It wasn't overcooked it wasn't soggy or inedible. It's just is flavorless and is not a representation of what Thai food should be. It's not Thai food and I wouldn't recommend this place.

Honey chicken to die for

I used to eat here 20+ years ago and moved out of state. I recently came back to visit and stopped in for dinner, and everything was just the way I remember. The service is very attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is very welcoming and intimate and the food is unbelievably delicious! I had the Spicy Siam, which had a wonderful blend of flavors and comes with chicken, shrimp and squid. My daughter had the lamb curry, the meat was tender and full of flavor.
I can't wait to come back again!

I got the Elegant duck here, which is a different dish for me. I'm usually a panamg curry guy. This was a nice full and broad profile of flavors. I got it thai hot and it wasn't too much. Loved it. I'll try panang next time! :)

I have tried food from here twice. The first time around it was great! Tasted better than most Thai places I have tried and the quantity was great! 2 people can easily eat one entree.

The second time around I did not enjoy much. It was a take out order and I had it 20 minutes later so it was not as juicy as I wanted and the veggies weren’t fresh either.

The quantity is always good just wasn’t pleased with the taste the second time. But that could also be because I had it after 20 minutes.

Delicious food that came out fast! Our hostess was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was so cozy, we’ll be returning!

Usually good, I got the chicken pai Tai and their was like 2 pieces of chicken in it and we had to ask to get our water refilled every time.

I WANTED to try this place but they don't offer anything vegetarian or vegan. Who doesn't offer at LEAST tofu as a meat substitute??? Big disappointment

It's our first time trying Thai food, and we were actually looking forward to it. Food was not bad, but customer service was almost zero. The server/waitress was more focused on tips than actual service delivery. I will not be returning here and would not recommend. Not because of the taste of the food, but customer service is very important to me, which was lacking today.

I got a Thai Salad and Drunken Noodles with seafood. The salad was a big portion with crisp veggies, citrusy dressing and crunchy peanuts. The Drunken Noodles are basically the epitome of comfort food. They're saucy and chewy with more seafood than expected. Bring a friend, a really big appetite, or expect to take a doggy bag home with you. Service is friendly, fast, and efficient. I didn't have to wait long for anything.

The food was excellent. Nice ambiance and friendly people. But they expect at least 15% tip.

This place is amazing! The owners are super friendly.. they are very nice people. my favorite is their seafood pad Thai, I like mines spicy. Oh and can’t forget about the thai tea.. they have the best Thai tea you’ll ever have! And the best thing about it, it’s only $2.50 for a big cup! Food is super delicious and super cheap and the portion is huge! YUM! Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever!! Stay away!! Bad and extremely rude service. We went there on Friday for lunch and half of the restaurant was empty. I went there with my wife and 4 year old son. There was a nice table for 4 people to sit so we requested to sit there. The rude lady ( who may even be the owner) who was sitting us refused to sit us there and instead took us to a corner table for 3 people. The corner table was very uncomfortable and my son can sometimes get claustrophobic so I requested her to sit us at the previous table. The lady straight away refused us inspite of telling her about my sons problem. Then even my wife requested her to sit us somewhere else she said there is nothing else she can do. Even the other people in the restaurant were shocked with this service. At that point we just decided to leave that restaurant and go somewhere else. I don’t want to give my business to such a place and I’m never going back again and will make sure I tell all my friends!

Their prices are reasonable, especially their lunch special. The service is always pleasant, patient, and attententive. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Do yourself the favor and try them if you are ever in the area or live near by.

Our Son took us there for dinner last night for my birthday. We have spring rolls for an appetizer, than we had the Tom Yum Khing soup. For our entree my son had the Rock & Roll Seafood, my husband had Drunken Noodles, & I had Pad Thai. There food is amazing & the service is awesome. Love this place so much. Then we had the fried bananas with ice cream for dessert. Delicious.

I've eaten here 3 times so far, and it's quickly become my go to Thai food restaurant. The servers are kind, and there's never been a long wait for a table. The food is great, everyone I've gone I've ordered something different and I haven't been disappointed yet. Pad Thai is very delicious, the best I've had in years. The best thing I've ordered from them so far is their duck, so I highly recommend trying it out. Overall, I can't really think of any negatives so far. One warning would probably be that it's a small venue, so probably make reservations if you have a group of 5 or more.

I absolutely love this place. Me and my coworkers stop there for lunch and it’s probaly the best deal you can get around. An appetizer, soup or salad and an entree for 9$, and the food is AMAZING and fresh and it comes out in literally minutes. I’ve had a couple things there now and nothing has disappointed, highly recommended.

It is such a shame IGNORANCE prevents my co-workers and I from EVER returning to this establishment.
My Experience: I ordered take-out, and to my dismay, when I returned to work, I realized the order was wrong. With understanding, I contacted Bangkok City to request my meal be replaced with the correct order. The man I spoke with was unapologetic and ignorant to the fact someone (on their end) made a mistake with my order. The man also refused to allow me to pick up the correct order and then abruptly ended the telephone conversation by concluding the telephone call.

INTERNET CAN MAKE OR BREAK A BUSINESS and theyre business should be made but just be more careful about that. Not sure of the entrée I order but regardless, it was delicious. Was very pleased. Loved the intimate feel of the restaurant also even though I ordered take out. Man taking the order was very patient with me as I picked out my food, I had never been to this restaurant before. Will def go back but will also make sure I check my bag next time
