This place was π₯π₯π₯! I love Thai food and we immediately put it in our top 2 or 3 Thai spots in Dallas. We got the Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice. Level 2 spice (they donβt mess around). We also got the fried Gyoza which was excellent. I highly recommend coming here.
Ordered takeout lunch via their website. When I arrived they hadnβt seen my order so it wasnβt ready. It was in their system but they didnβt see it until I asked about it so I had to wait.
Vegetarian options - we are both vegetarian. Ordered food with tofu; it had more chicken than tofu in it. See pic with all the chicken pulled out on the lid. Do not go here.
We ordered take out on our way home from Houston. The food was ready by the time we arrived. We got pad kee mao with tofu spice level 4 and yellow curry fried rice with tofu spice level 4.
The padkee mao was good and had more curry flavor than the fried rice which was very oily and salty, had no curry taste and the portion size was very small too. I wouldnβt order their fried rice again.
Nice little place. I got the #60 Thai spicy basil with beef and some cream cheese rolls. The entre` was good. It was spiced exactly as I requested and it had big slices of bell pepper and mushrooms and lots of gravy for the rice to soak up. The beef could have been a bit more tender. The cream cheese rolls came with a sauce (spicy mayo mango maybe). They were good but the wrappers were a bit thick. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. This was a good Friday night take-out.
My husband and I love to have a quiet dinner here. Staff is very attentive and friendly. My go to is chicken pad thai. Highly recommend
Delicious food in cozy appealing surroundings. Excellent service. Pad thai, curries, and appetizers all authentic and well-prepared.
This is my go-to lunch place. You can't go wrong ordering anything from the menu. Everything is just delicious! Everybody here is so nice too, so that's a plus! :)
Another hidden gem!
Not expensive and GREAT FOOD!

The Pad Thai here is super good. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices are reasonable.
Great place. Love the intimate atmosphere. Food very good. I had pineapple friend rice. Egg rolls also delicious. Soups also great.
Very good service. Easy in and out. Quiet setting. A βgo toβ place for us for Thai-Asian.
The food is always consistent and they owner is super polite so thatβs always a plus!! Best Thai food you can get and itβs super cheap so two great treats while dining out!!
Sad to say, my combination fried rice was bland. I paid $18 for bland food.
I usually order take out from here 2-3 times a month. One of my favorite spots since moving to north Dallas. Food is always fresh, delicious and quickly prepared. The cream rolls are the best!!
Very good appetizers
had a sewer smell inside
Fast friendly service and very tasty food.
Wings were excellent. I could only eat one bite of the lukewarm fish.
From scratch and tasty Thai food. Worth the visit. Came with some work folks and everyone loved their meal. Off the highway
Very nice atmosphere and the food was delicious! Will definitely be back.
We ordered four different meals for four individuals. Everyone enjoyed their meal, veggies were fresh, fast service. Definitely recommend Bangkok Dee Thai!
I just moved to the area and tried them for the first time tonight. And all I can say is this place is delicious! I had the panang curry with pork and it was wonderful. Will definitely be returning to try the pad thai π
The food was very flavorful and has the right amount of spiciness!
Well done. Iβve been here several times. Always greeted immediately and food is always on point.
Love their Food!
Laid back, lowkey, great food. Not greasy at all. Very homestyle taste. Also playing late 90s and 2000s hits when I was there. Cant ask for more.
Sleeper Thai place, one of the best in Dallas
I've been a huge fan of Bangkok Dee since discovering that they still have pork dishes, unlike many other Asian restaurants and buffets. It's a quiet little place with good service. I always get pork pad kee mow (Thai spicy) and tom yum soup with chicken (also spicy).
To be honest, I started coming here as an emergency overflow from Asian Mint on Forest when they were too crowded. That's when I discovered they have pork here, always my preferred meat in Asian dishes.
Since the pestilence of '020, the Forest location of Asian Mint has been takeaway only, so I have been coming to Bangkok Dee exclusively for the past couple of months as I prefer coming in and sitting.
The soup is SOOO good that I find myself craving it at times.
Upgraded from 4 to 5 stars due to excellent service! I keep coming back. I come here two to four times monthly and love it! I now prefer the tom ka soup. So yummy!
Atmosphere, cleanliness, and staff were all great.
Was close to my hotel, and was in the mood for Thai, so I went solo. I had the curry puffs and the red curry with chicken, mild. Just enough spice to make a boring suburban white guy sweat a bit but not melt my face off. Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. If I'm ever in this neck of town again, I would definitely go again.
Excellent, delicious, welcoming Thai restaurant. I eat in and get delivery from them all the time and the food is always satisfying. My personal favorite Thai restaurant in the Dallas area.
Great place to stop in for lunch
Everything Iβve had here is simply phenomenal
Been eating here for over 20 years! Very consistent and always delicious! Fast delivery too! Best hidden gem in Dallas!
My favorite Thai restaurant!!
Very good food for a great price, will be returning soon.
The food was good, however, they charge extra for things and don't deliver. I had to go back and get the ice removed from my drink after playing $0.45 for no ice (I never have ice and this is the first time I have been charged for it), and I paid extra for fried rice and received jasmine rice, however, I didn't realize it until I got back to my room and it was too hot to go back out to have them correct the order. I recommend they work on quality control.
Bangkok Dee is banginβ. Great food, great service, fair prices. The food was fresh and served in a timely manner, even when the restaurant got busy. Waitstaff refilled our waters several times without having to ask. Iβve been craving pad Thai forever and this did the trick. I recommend it and will go back next time I need my Thai food urge to be satisfied. We got chicken pad Thai, green curry, orange beef, gyoza chicken dumplings and mandarin mango salad.
Super good great staff
Always get the pad kee mao & it never disappoints. Staff is nice & orders are made quick. It isnβt busy inside so itβs easy to have a conversation. Great for date night or hanging out with a few friends.
I was super impressed with this place. The food was full of flavor, great portions and the appetizers were to die for it. I ordered the fried shrimp rolls and crab cream cheese rolls. It was crunchy, dry outside and super delicious!!
For main course I got the Yellow Curry medium hot and it was perfect and super yummy!!!
I super recommend this place. Great food, great service π€
I donβt know why I canβt give this place 10 stars. The drunken noodles π€€π€€π€€π€€ the corn pattyβs, the dumplings. The red curry! You can not go wrong. Iβm a tai food junkie and this place is a Gem. I will forever be a customer here. Oh and the mango sticky riceβ¦ donβt get me started.. AMAZING!!!! I get take out from here and I dine in. When I dine in I purposefully make sure I have left overs to enjoy again later. This is the best tai Iβve had around Dallas.
This is my second time ordering takeout, although dining in is also an option. They offer a wide range of vegetarian, vegan, and carnivore dishes. Our entire order was vegan. The foods have flavors that are not just flavorful but also strong and fragrant. In no way disappointing.
My coworker and I grabbed lunch from there today and I ordered the Pad Thai without peanuts and she ordered the Spicy Fried Rice and both dishes were OVERLY sweet. We asked for spice levels of 2 and 3 and there was no spice in either dish and my shrimps were overcooked in my pad thai. I would try again but only dining in to see if that changes the quality of the food.
The Red Curry dish alone gets this place 5 stars. How is something even this tastyβ¦
Dine-in experience was kind of chaotic and slow. But their food is so good (not too Americanized) and the price is the most fair in the area. I have been looking for a decent Thai place for years near the highland park area. This is the best for picking Thai to go
Nice little place. I got the #60 Thai spicy basil with beef and some cream cheese rolls. The entre` was good. It was spiced exactly as I requested and it had big slices of bell pepper and mushrooms and lots of gravy for the rice to soak up. The beef could have been a bit more tender. Delicious Thai Food.
Quick and nice Service
Great little Thai place. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced. Weβll be back the next time we get a craving for Thai and plan on bringing family and friends.
This is our go to Thai restaurant, always satisfied with their food and spice levels.
Authentic, delicious, and great service. So glad we found this gem!
My go-to place for my favorite Thai dish, Pad See Ew. Also their crab cream cheese rolls are better than every crab rangoon Iβve ever had. The sauce that comes with them makes them extra delicious.
Very tasty and good price π
Always Delicious! Try the crabmeat fried rice, red curry, and mango sticky rice. The service is good and place is always kept clean.
My go to Thai spot in Dallas. Every single person I've taken there (and that's a lot of people) has loved it and said it's some of the best Thai they've had. I've eaten there countless times over the years and the workers are always friendly and the food is always amazing.
Delicious. Highly recommend papaya salad, Thai eggplant, pad prik, and the classics (pad kee mao, red curry, etc). Heads up: their spice scale is quite spicy - even mild has some kick.
I frequent this is Restaurant more then I should but tonight was very disappointing I placed an order with 6 dishes for me and my family and they drop the ball completely, and didnβt even offer a refund for why they dropped the ball own, FYI if you order the curry Duck please make sure they bring it out Firstβ¦ you can thank me later!!!!
Great service. Delicious food. Fav Thai place in Dallas hands down. I eat here often.
Edit: itβs been four years since I wrote this review and Bangkok Dee is still a contact in my phone. Itβs that kind of good ππ
The food here is so good! Would return again! Great atmosphere and service.
Great food, great service! Always a home run!
Great food and easy checkout process online. Only did a pick-up order.
First time visiting.
It's good, I really like the flavors of the soup and Green Curry ..HOWEVER.. I asked for the spiciest spice which they call their "Thai five", and it was NOT spicy AT ALL! I don't know if they forgot to add my spice or what, but basically sipping this Curry like it's Kool-Aid that's how non spicy it was. Pretty disappointing... BUT! All in all, the flavors were nice for the dishes that I ordered. I just wish the spice level was higher.
Looking for a Thai place on the way home found this little gem...ordered the beef jerky to start and it was delicious...my wife ordered the Fish Pad Cha and I ordered the Pad Thai with Chicken they were both delicious...my wife said this is her new favorite place...I forgot to take the pictures before starting so they're a bit messy...
Absolutely delicious!! I was just visiting Dallas for the weekend and omg, the food (pad kee mao) was out of this world. Would definitely come back.
Great food and kind service, albeit a bit understaffed. I enjoyed their Panang curry. Do yourself a favor and get the medium spice or up; they balance their tang flavors well here. Also the tofu in the dishes was quite good.
Food is always on point. Portions could be larger for the price though.
No very good Thai food.
Friday September 30 at 8:30 pm I placed an order in person and asked for curry fried rice, not spicy. Iβve ordered it before from this place. I know they can prepare it non spicy!!. I repeat to the gentleman, NOT SPICY!!! I get home, I take my first bite and my mouth is on fire. I CANT EAT THIS . Rush back to their place and itβs already closed. Iβm placing this message so you see it and refund my money.
I had to go to another location and order food again. my stomach is already suffering from that one spicy food bite. Itβs an allergy!!! Itβs acid reflux!!
Iβm returning your food first thing tomorrow.
Good food and a very cozy place. Getting better everytime I visit.
I ordered basil fried rice, it was too good... we ll go back again.
I always have it delivered but this is by far the best Pad Thai I've found in Dallas. Their spice levels are no joke though, I love spicy but their spicy is on another level.
Good flavor, quality and atmosphere. I wish they had asked me what type of rice I preferred instead of assuming white rice.
A fatally unhealthy and tasteless food is being served here. TOO MUCH salt in the food. People with high blood pressure must avoid this restaurant. An awful experience!
Best Thai cuisine in Dallas! I can go on & on about this restaurant, but you have to try it yourself. They ALWAYS get my order right, even if I make modifications & they have great customer service. My roommate & I eat here quite often & never get tired of it. My 2 faves are the egg rolls & the pineapple curry!
Forgot the Tom yum soup but everything else good
Soooo good! Highly recommend
Loved the food. It's super authentic.
Nice to come Enjoy to talk and food
Excellent food and a great lunch special. Call in your order and it's usually ready by the time you get there 10-13 minutes. Definitely a favorite in dallas!
Love this place, convenient location from my job, friendly customer service.
Iβm from New Jersey and Iβve got to say this is the best Thai food I have ever had! This is my second time eating from here, first time ordering delivery and I have never received my food so hot and fresh!! The portions are plentiful. Will definitely be coming again the next time Iβm in Dallas.
Everything is delicious
The tom yum soup smelled like a dead fish
Ate here after checking into a nearby hotel after a very long day of travel. This place really picked me up and made a miserable day a whole lot better. The peanut curry sauce is amazing and the food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. I also ordered a flat noodle beef dish. Highly recommend. Making my trip to TX worth it already!
100/100. Sometimes, you need to live in other cities to appreciate how amazing creative, gourmet Thai recipes are! Get the traditional absolutely fresh BKK dumplings, served shumai style with sweet sour sauce. I went traditional Pad Thai Chicken Spicy (very flavorful spices). The restaurant is a traditional style Thai decor, so clean. Theyβve been open eight years and have a great following from travelers and locals. THE BEST! Get on it :)
The best Thai food I've had in years!!!
Love this place π₯°ππ₯°β€οΈ delicious food and wonderful people π
My God! Awn God! Fa God! Try this spot awt
Love the food here. Haven't had a bad thing yet. Absolutely love the Tom yum.
Very, very good food. Friendly and efficient waitstaff.
I ordered their Tom Yum Soup through Uber Eats and was very disappointed. First of all the Tom Yum Soup is a very hearty soup more along the lines of a stew. What I received was 75% broth with %25 chicken/vegetables!
I submitted a photo to UberEats after I received the order and could not receive a refund, because Uber does not refund for mispresentations of the advertised food. I screenshot what I ordered versus a photo I took of what I actually received. Anyone can look at this and tell I received more broth than meat and vegetables.
Great customer service and food was fantastic!
Sooo good! And fast! Servers were so kind.
Amazing flavor and quick service. I love Asian food and the great flavors was impressive! Definitely a recommendation!
Great all around Thai food
Crab Fried Rice... Mic drop.
Sister and > thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Made to order and excellent service. Worth a return trip
Food, atmosphere band service were excellent. I would definitely recommend.
Our family loves this family run restaurant. Since Si Lom Thai Express closed on Preston and Forest, this has been our go to Thai place. The lunch specials are a great deal and include soup or egg roll and generous portions. They offer delivery service and it is prompt. Food is always fresh and yummy. Service is above average. Prices are very reasonable.
Do you remember in The Tick the place they used to meet? The superheroes, well kind of superheroes. This is that place Literally everything that Iβve had on the menu is good let me rephrase that is great. The service is always outstanding. In the portion sizes are so good youβre always going to take something home.
Nice place but it was impossible to get my wheelchair bound mother to the restroom
Great food and great price
Excellent!! Loved it and I'm going to love it again tomorrow, when I finish it. Yeah!
Our server recommended me the Pad See Ew and it was seriously the best noodles I have had in my life. Great service and even better food.
Absolutely delightful. Get the Thai Tea, it's fantastic. Curry was great, Pas See Ew was also fantastic.
Great date location. Plates are around $10-16.
The shrimp glass noodles plate are the best. Need to put more food on the plate $16 per plate
Thai place is amazing for Thai food. The quality of the food can be better but overall is a ni e place to dine for lunch. The people are nice and always happy to serve. I always order for pick ups and my order is always on time so always happy with the service.
Tasted like i was back in Bangkok
I order regularly from here. Today was my frtst time dining in. Staff was very nice. Ford was tasty as usual. I enjoy their curries very much. I really like their mango sticky rice and black rice desserts.
We never come to Dallas without a visit to Bangkok Dee Thai! Pad Thai, Basil Fried Rice, Curry (red, green, yellow), Egg Rolls, Soups -- we've pretty much had it all - and it is all outstanding. Always! Plus, Natalie always remembers us (and our favorites) and takes great care of us. Highly recommended!
