Great place to dine in Summit. We've been here a few times now and it's been a consistent experience. Huge menu selection of Asian fusion food including Japanese. Very tasty, large portions (you will end up with food to take home), well priced, great atmosphere with many different areas to sit in for small and large groups. We have not been disappointed with any of the dishes we order except that they need to add more prawns on the All Season dish.

I would like to thank my sister in law for bringing us to this gem of a restaurant right in the middle of downtown Summit. The food was excellent! It is beyond description. You just need to come here and taste it yourself. Authentic Asian cuisine perfectly executed. I had the Bento box with shrimp and vegetable tempura it is the best I tasted so far of all the Japanese places I've been too. I was also pleasantly surprised with the more than generous serving size and customer friendly prices. All together a very nice dining experience. I will definitely come here sooner than later!

TBH, the food and service was terrible when we went there on Friday mid afternoon. The fried rice and pad Thai we ordered were so bland and the Pad Thai had no vegetables even though waitress told us it had snap peas etc. they tried to make it right but didn’t do much better so very disappointed.

But my wife has been here before and food and service have been much better. The ambience is very nice and up scale. The tofu is amazing! Didn’t ever think I would rave about how good tofu is but here we are. Would give it another try, maybe we just had bad luck.

Service was fast and friendly! lunch portions were a great size and the prices were very reasonable! My husband and I went to lunch with both of our sets of parents and we were able to get our food quickly! Everyone was really happy with their entrees and look forward to going back.

Visited with a group of 8 and the seating was comfortable and well decorated. The calamari appetizer is one of the best I have had and the whole family appreciated the serving size of it. The only knock I could say, is the options for chicken. There aren’t many but the dishes they do have plated beautifully and have unique and exquisite taste. This will be a place our family visits often when we come back and visit NJ. Also, it’s a BYOB establishment so make sure you bring your favorite spirits to make the experience that much more.

This Asian restaurant is seated in a beautiful place in New Jersey. I love the ambiance and the service was quick. It was my first time trying the “calamari salad”, and would highly recommend to try this delish food to everyone.

We had two entrees And had soup for a starter. The food is excellent. Took a little bit long as far as the way. But otherwise excellent experience great.

I went to this restaurant and ordered white rice with shrimp and broccoli. The shrimp tasted like it was freshly caught from the ocean (which means it tasted fishy) and was overcooked and rubbery. It definitely had a very strange taste. The rice was extremely bland and no amount of soy sauce could add any flavor to that rice. The only good thing was the broccoli. Not to mention, this whole meal gave me food poisoning! I was throwing up for 2 days. The waitress was nice though

Honestly don’t come here if you’re looking for good service. The owners best friend is sooooo beyond rude, and from what I’m hearing it’s not even a race thing it’s just who she is. The food is overpriced for the quality and effort put into it. They are definitely trying to tax because of the area. The food is not worth the price

Yummy dumplings are fabulous and so is the Chicken Satay but this place is WAAYYY over priced for the quantity of food that you get.
$14 for 5 dumplings and $15 for 4 chicken satay skewers is totally outrageous!!!

Make your prices more affordable or make your portions larger to substantiate the cost!

Love this place. Chicken wonton soup and shrimp shumai is amazing. The mango chicken is also great. Super fast service.

Good food. Good service. Could do without the delivery people sleeping in the back I guess but whatever. Place is top quality.

I’ve ordered from here three times and am always disappointed by how little meat and vegetables are on the dishes, especially the noodle dishes. The prices are really high so there is no justification for the lack of substance to the dishes.

While the quality of the sushi is ok, the food overall is nothing special. I wouldn't come here looking for sushi or sashimi - the selection in the sushi combo was underwhelming - but their maki rolls aren't that bad. The ambiance is quite nice, and the restaurant is very clean. The staff are really nice, and they do a great job of catering to families with kids. The biggest problem though is that the restaurant is 30% too expensive for the food that it serves which makes it hard for me to want to go back.

I ordered the sushi platter for $26. It was so small in quantity that I was still hungry afterwards. :(

The taste was good, but the dish was the size of an appetizer. No soup or salad was included for the $26.

I won’t ever return again. The least they could do is warn you that it isn’t a meal. Now I will have to go home and make a meal.

Would love a little more flavor ...

I love this place, however while still eating the lady came with the check and started cleaning the table wich i found rude, i felt kicked out. It was around 5pm and there were 2 tables , it wasn't like there were people lining up waiting for the table and this is the second time they do that.

Horrible sushi rice in a pathetically presented Chirashi with minimal fish and non interesting sashimi pieces.. Rice was mushy. Waitress cleared tables like a truck stop place. Greeter at door threw down menus and just walked away .

Great food with below average service. The sushi and sashimi platter and beef satay were otherworldly. The snapper wrapped in banana leaf was too mildly favored and a bit of a letdown. There were barely two other tables with patrons on a Sunday afternoon, yet our waitress was in a tearing hurry. The slightest bit of hesitation on our part to order would have her dart off to “give us more time”.

My only complain is that the restaurant uses plastic containers for take out. The worst part is that most of these containers are not recyclable. Come on, Blossom, there are tons of wonderful paper containers now that can be used for most of your food now. In most cases, plastic containers are stopping me from ordering from you more often.

Nice booths! However:
Lobster Roll made me sick, smelled very fishy.
Staff members were putting pressure on us to leave for only being there for 1.5 hours. Gave us our appetizers before we put in our entree orders since server never came back to our table.
Hostesses were unfriendly and talking about customers and me right in front of me. Couldn't tell who was a hostess since they all looked pedestrian.

Terrible, terrible food. Tastes like plastic. Would highly recommend avoiding this place…

Excellent food, service and ambience. It’s our new favorite restaurant in the area.

Lovely early dinner after work, relaxing, comfortable and great food.

Stopped in on our way home and what a great choice we made.

The menu is vast so everyone can get what they want or crave. The food is delicious, service is great and staff is very friendly.

We ordered the basil filet mignon, surf and turf, chicken and noodles, scallion pancakes and angry lobster roll. My wife and I could not be happier with the quality of the food.

The steak and veggies were perfectly cooked and tender, while also full of flavor. The shrimp tempura was delicious and crunchy and light. Meanwhile the angry lobster roll was sweet and tasty, we also added spicy mayo for that extra kick. Our daughter loved the chicken and noodles, white rice and scallion cakes as well.

Come eat here, it was incredible.

My go to for Thai fusion! Very good overall quality and service

My husband and I have been dining at Asian Blossom Bistro in Summit for nearly two years. It is one of our favorite restaurants in NJ. We are restaurant "goers" and don't mind being referred to as " foodies" among friends and family". The food is delicious and service from " in to out" is friendly, polite, reliable and attentive. Love this place..

I have to say this is a great spot. Every time I order over the phone they are pleasant and always get my order right. I usually stick to the basics but all of it arrives quick and hot for delivery. I like that they have their own delivery, I don’t like doordash at all. Great spot for summit, always does the trick.

This is sad, embarrassing and not worth $16 dollars.

Ordered lunch through Doordash. Absolutely loved it. I ordered the beef teriyaki lunch special. It came with rice, salad, three pieces of sushi and a soup, all for $15. Food taste delicious and the presentation was great 👍

This is a rating based on service, not food quality. The waitress was very rude to my daughter and her 2 friends when they dined outside for dinner on April 1, 2021. They were not loud or unruly. Please teach your staff to be kind and respectful to all their customers, even teens who are patronizing your business during covid.

In response to the owner's email below: Yes, we are positive that we had the right restaurant. We've been living in the area for over ten years and my daughter was 16 years old at the time. She's literate. You had one small table outside for outdoor dining at the time of this incident.

We went with our children, the place is very comfy and the food was excellent.

I'm beyond upset. I have a daughter who is 2 months old and she was fussy with a dirty diaper. Desperate, I came into this place of business to ask if I can use the changing station so I can care for my child. I got refused and turned away. Rationally speaking, am I to change the child on the street? The establishment does not have a corporate portal to send messages of concern so I'm placing it here so that way there is awareness of how they treat potential customers. I left before even seeing the menu.

I ordered 5 different dishes for my family of four. None of us likes any of the dishes, they were terrible. The beef had a strange taste, the dumplings were just ok the pad Thai had a sweet tamarind taste and the fried rice with beef was owful. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The lication is inviting and sizeable. Clean bathrooms and comfortable dining tables.
BYOBB to boot. So that reduces ones inflated bill. That is if you partake of spirits?

Quality not near what the Mt. Arlington location was when I was going there for 12 years, most recently 3 years ago. Not sure if the decline is for all locations or just the Summit one, but this has helped true for the paste 3 times in Summit. The General Tso used to be the reason I went, but it is now worse than ordinary. The chicken is so-so, but the sauce is bad. It's maybe half the amount there used to be and is now watery.

My family gets take out from here often. Great food. I have not had a single thing that I did not like (and if I won't like it, I won't order it). Amazing sushi, great sesame chicken, and the cold noodles appetizer is amazing!

Your average Chinese sushi joint with a variety of Asian fare. Maybe this is standard for the State of New Jersey but the prices for basics are 2-4 times higher than Brooklyn. All deserts are frozen/from a box, would not recommend.

The food here is just amazing! Starters were the cold sesame noodles which were so flavorful , and the chicken sate was delicious. In the entree my favorite was the seafood hotpot! They honored my friend who a healthcare worker with a 20% discount. We sat in a booth which was very Covid safe. Please visit and support this great Asian restaurant in Summit, NJ!

This was my second time here and both times I was very pleased with the selection of Thai, Japanese & Chinese food. The food is prepared beautifully and tastes as good as it looks. There's a very nice ambiance and plenty of room for large parties. The other plus is that the prices are reasonable. Two people can fill their bellies for around $75. I'll be coming here more often. Give it a try if you like this type of cuisine....

Outdoor dining was very pleasant. The service was very good. All dishes were really good. The fruits used in the dishes tasted fresh opposed to the canned options.

Good quality food, but definitely over priced. Mitsuba in Chatham (for Japanese), and Palm Thai in Madison (for Thai) are better bets if you’re looking for a solo cuisine/not fusion, and are more reasonably priced for what you get.

We became big Blossom fans when we lived down the road and now still find ourselves driving the 20 minutes at least once a week - their quality and prices cannot be beat around here. The fish is so fresh and every aspect of the meal is tasty!

I dine at many Chinese and Japanese restaurants and had to leave a review for this restaurant. It’s so clean, welcoming, spacious, and nicely designed. This place has the best hot and sour soup and salad I’ve ever had as part of their lunch special. The sushi I ordered was SO fresh, the rice was tender (not over cooked) and the spicy mayo is on point! I also had the General Tso Chicken, it was so good. Not too sweet or slimy or spicy. Had just the right crunch and flavors. I like spicy so I told them to make it extra spicy. The service is excellent. Portions are generous. How does this place not have like hundred good reviews?! You need to try this place if you haven’t.

Ambience was great. Ordered Pad Thai and that tasted pathetic, curries were good. the server attending us was pretty rude. She should be polite and friendly, else they would lose customers.

OMG. Everything is amazing the food (seafood miso!!! All of the sushi and the main dishes), the atmosphere, the staff. It has become one of my favorite places.

This was my second time getting take out from Blossom and both times were absolutely fantastic! Some of the other comments have more negative takes, especially surrounding price. I disagree, I believe when it comes to sushi, you get what you pay for, and I believe the price is well worth it! Blossom has become my girlfriend and I’s go to spot for sushi, would highly recommend!
