Our favorite thai restaurant using traditional spices!

Diner Review №5

Brought a colleague here on a business dinner The food is average and nothing remarkable. Portions are appropriate and the service is fair.
We asked for chopsticks. They don’t have any. We asked for chili paste and chili flakes as a condiment. They don’t have that they said.
The atmosphere in the dining room was stuffy.
It appears they are cost cutting at the expense of the customer’s dining experience.
Cannot recommend.

Two of us had dinner at this wonderful Thai place in town. Very friendly, prompt and professional service. The food was excellent - authentic Thai (not watered down to American tastes). We had Thom Kha soup, Drunken Noodles, Gang Paa (3 chilli hot - the fire hits your taste buds after a few bites) and Sweet sticky rice/mango. The owner/manager warned us in advance about the 🌶 🥵 🔥.

Delicious food, had lots of chilled water to wash it down, that got promptly refilled.

There are lots of vegetarian options and there is lots of free parking around.

Will definitely patronize them again.

They are overpriced for thai food. Its high profit margin for Just mediocre food and ambience. They used to offer 10% discount if you pay in cash till couple years ago and it made sense to get food from them back then. Now they charge 4% extra if you pay by card which basically is a way to push customer to pay cash. Not worth it.The owner lady showed a very bad attitude and i just wanted to leave.I will never go here.

Diner Review №9

Always very friendly with delicious food. Never disappointed and is our go to place.

Diner Review №10

Very bad customer service and food.

Diner Review №11

Food is fresh and service is good.

Diner Review №12

Horrible. Drove 45 mins to and from for CHICKEN green curry. Get home, NO CHICKEN. Owner wants the CHEF to pay for the bad job, and tells me to bring it back to prove no chicken. But WONT simply give a refund. People make mistakes, thats fine! At least honor the refund!

Diner Review №13

"Super delicious food". Tris was amazing, she adds, very pleasantly, to the total experience of this great eatery. It is HIGHLY recommended.

Diner Review №14

Tasty but little too sweet

Diner Review №15

Yum. Yum. And DOUBLE YUM! Best Pad See Eue this side of the Raritan. Shoutout to Tris for bringin the energy, swag, dance noves, and also our delivious meal. She was the best. Will def be coming back for a yummy YUMMY snack. Why are you still reading this. Just go.

Diner Review №16

VERY NASTY... if I could give zero stars I would.. the woman on the phone was so nasty. I canceled my order. This would have been the 1st time I patronized them but with her attitude I would never spend my money there. Check out Ricky's Thai in Hillsborough. Great food and the people are very nice..

Diner Review №17

Food was delicious. Our waitress Tris was very lovely and friendly and gave us good recommendations for spice levels.

Diner Review №18

Diner Review №21

My family went to eat there this past Sunday. The staff were attentive, patient and quick to serve the delicious food. We will be back!

Diner Review №22

First time trying Thai food. Fried rice with chicken was delicious. Waitress was patient and explained the different levels of heat their spices are

Diner Review №23

As regular customers of Diamond Thai, we love their food – it’s one of our favorites in Somerset. However, their repeated requests for full credit card details, including the CVV number, for tele-orders are unacceptable. The owner’s reasons (spice level and no-shows) don’t justify this practice. It’s non-compliant with PCI-DSS standards, exposes customers to fraud, and risks serious legal consequences if a data breach occurs. Until their policy of requesting credit card info changes, we’ll be reconsidering our visits to this restaurant.

Diner Review №24

Delicious food with very welcoming and kind staff! (Our server Tris was particularly attentive.) Thank you!

Diner Review №25

Had a few thai dishes and it was delicious. Their prices are a bit pricey though.

Diner Review №26

Nice atmosphere, delicious spring rolls for Appetizers. Had Iced Green tea & Iced Jasmine tea, perfect for the hot day. Lunch specials, are perfect portions, & Mango With Coconut Sticky Rice was shared & just enough. We will be back!!!

Diner Review №27

They have very clean restaurant, nice ambiance, the food is very delicious and nutritious. I always order take out but june 12 at 7pm we try the dine in. They are very accommodating and the duck and the dessert appetizer are all delicious.

Diner Review №28

Me and my dad's first time here at Diamond Thai and the food was very fresh and delicious, Tris the waitress was very nice also Debbie the cashier lady. Will definitely be back!

Diner Review №29

The very best part of your experience here-if you are lucky enough to be graced with it- is being served by Tris! She met all of our needs.

The food was excellent, the ambience decadent, and the variety exquisite. Come here, ask for Tris, order some apps and entrees with a desert, and you won't regret it!

Diner Review №30

Authentic Thai food with outstanding service. What a great find! We had drunken noodles, green curry, Thai iced tea and mango sticky rice. Huge portions. Fresh, delicious food!

Super friendly staff, food tastes great, restaurant is super clean. Pretty expensive but well worth the price

Diner Review №34

Food was average but worst experience with the working lady here. $3 sur charge for credit card. We paid cash and lady was demanding service charge as tip of 20%
We were two people and demanding 9$ bucks as tip for $37total bill
When I gave $3 she was saying its $9 and gave $8 since I don’t have change and she still shows the check and shouting for $9 for 20% tip
Never in life had such demand for tip

Diner Review №37

This has been my go to place for past few years. Not sure whether the chef has changed, but have had 2nd bad experience in 2 weeks. My favorite has been Thai basil fried rice, chicken red curry, and gang-pa. Sadly, it doesn't taste the same. The spice level has gone up and had too much soya sauce in fried rice. Papaya salad stunk and had too much fish sauce to a point we couldn't even eat it. Not going back again.

Diner Review №38

Good food, and amazing at how fast I can get food. When they say minutes they mean it.

Diner Review №39

My second visit to the place within two months. Completely impressed by the food, service and ambiance, I visited last night along with my three other friends. Found server a bit rude, discouraging for going to a higher spice level, however I ordered same spice level as my last visit in Jan. The food came out unexpectedly super spicy - not sure if it was just to prove her point (discouraging for higher spice level). Even though food was good, I’m never going back again.

Diner Review №40

Been here twice. Service is superb.

Diner Review №41

Menu is extensive, service is fast, and food is authentic and delicious. One of the best Thai restaurants in the area!

Diner Review №42

Spice levels are through the roof and rather than adjust them to be as expected, the server/owner person prefers to shame/warn about spice levels and remind you there will be no refunds if it’s too spicy for you.

Entree prices high. Portion sizes small based on price and smaller than other Thai places.

1.50 for extra sauce.

20% gratuity already added for a party of 2. Will also add for party of one. Additional tip line provided.

$3 charge for paying with card (visa, mc). $5 for discover, amex.

Overall feels more like a fleecing operation over friendly warm restaurant.

Endorse at your own risk.

Thanks.

For reference, I never write reviews even when I have a negative experience. This experience left a very negative feeling and taste in my mouth.

Eat at your own peril.

Diner Review №43

Food was SO good. We got panang curry (spice level 1), drunken noodle (spice level 2), Tom kha gai, and salt and pepper tofu. The soup was AMAZING— so flavorful. The curry was good, but not very different than typically. The drunken noodles were so perfectly flavorful. The salt and pepper tofu was also very good, awesome texture and sauce. My favorite was the drunken noodle, I just wish we had gotten everything slightly spicier but it was honestly phenomenal!

Diner Review №44

Very rude ownership . The waitress which is a part owner of the place was so rude to us and treating us very bad and after we asked her for the check she put 20% ( mandatory ) THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY.. never again 👎👎👎

Diner Review №45

Wonderful place. Food is fresh, delicious and the owner is so very welcoming. We always eat here when in the area. Try the duck dishes, top notch.

Diner Review №46

Diner Review №47

This restaurant could have been one of the most favored place. But it kills the attraction due to $3.00 additional charges when paying with credit card.

Diner Review №48

Delicious 😋

Diner Review №49

Decent Thai food. Great pad Thai. Asked for more lemons for the whole table but they only brought 1 slice. They charge 3% fee if using credit card

Diner Review №50

Excellent quality and great service

Diner Review №51

My husband and I first time eating here and by far the best Thai food we've had in a while. The place is clean, the food is fresh, and the owner is so friendly and personable. We will be back! Our new Thai spot!

Diner Review №52

Diamond Thai is great….best chicken pad thai around!

Diner Review №53

I AM NEVER GOING BACK!!!
20% SERVICE FEE (we were a party of 3) and they are sneaky about adding it to the bill and the audacity of expecting you to tip post that.
3$ credit card fee.
The food is OVER PRICED FOR A PLACE LIKE THIS.It's a take out place with a few chairs and tables.
And They don't serve a some items and the menus haven't been updated in like 2 years.

Diner Review №54

Amazing food and service. Food always tastes fresh and there’s lots of tofu and eggs in the vegetarian dishes.

Diner Review №55

Pad Thai was edible but not great. Mee grob was cold, which was how they said it should be served, but I've had it multiple places and it was always hot as an appetizer. Won't be going back.

Diner Review №56

They charge 20% service fee without mentioning anything on the menu. Absolute cheats....never go there unless u want to get ripped off

Diner Review №57

Diner Review №58

All the curry flavors are delicious. Purely authentic Thai cuisine. Mad props to them!

Diner Review №59

Diner Review №60

I have been looking for a spicy Thai place for years since the one I used to go to stopped doing spicy. Well this place brought the spice and it was also extremely flavorful. This will be my go to Thai place from now on!

I got the highest level spice. If you can’t handle spicy food, I would suggest going with a much lower level.

Diner Review №61

Diner Review №62

Amazing place to have Thai food near Somerset area. Really nice ambiance, lovely customers service. They would warn you every time regarding spice levels from 1-5 . I generally prefer 2 as this has that night kick to it. Lovely food and spectacular taste every time . I have already visited more than 10 times over here.!

Diner Review №63

1000/10! Authentic Thai cuisine. Flavors were impeccable. Please listen to the host when they explain spicy levels. We ordered a #2 and it was amazingly HOT. I’m Caribbean and my partner is African so we truly enjoy spicy food. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Diner Review №64

Diner Review №65

No lie maybe the best and most authentic thai food I’ve ever had (coming from another southeast Asian), honestly nothing can compare, I recommend the drunken noodles and with a little bit of spice (not too much)

Diner Review №66

Awesome authentic Thai food, remind me of Thai food during my various trip to Thailand 🇹🇭
Go with recommend spice levels

Diner Review №67

I have tried several thai places in the area and Diamond Thai is by far the best ive had! I ordered the drunken noodles and thai iced tea on multiple occasions and it has been on point every time. All other thai resteraunts ive tried, the noodles were always so bland, no flavor, and barely any spice. Diamond Thai's noodles are SO flavorful and the food is actually spicy. I can generally handle spicy food but would not get beyond spice level 1. Spice level 1 is even slightly too spicy for me. This has definitely become a go to spot for me. Dont bother with other spots and try out Diamond Thai

Diner Review №68

Great, authentic food. Great service. Very pleasant dining experience.

Diner Review №69

Very helpful and nice staff. Food is always authentic and tasty. Food is quickly ready. Lots of veg options too.

Diner Review №70

The food is amazing. The pad Thai is the best I’ve ever had and their Thai iced tea is perfectly sweet. Their soup is my favorite thing on their menu. This place is a gem.

Diner Review №71

Worst Thai restaurant in hospitality. Owner is the worst doesn’t want to accommodate any requests. We ordered pad Thai it came without noodles and she said she will charge for the noodles . Had the worst experience

Diner Review №72

Diner Review №73

Food is good but the $3 credit card fees is painful and after paying credit card fees I didn’t feel good and I did not leave a tip

the lady came outside asking for Tip money
Felt forced to pay the tip

Diner Review №78

Diner Review №79

Food is decent. But they charge 20% gratuity for a family of three including a little kid. That is too much. Also, there is a $3 surcharge if you use your debit or credit card. Wait for it, and they charged me $4 for a $3 thai tea. That is like a 🍒 on the icing. This is my first and last time at this place.

Diner Review №80

Diner Review №81

Good meal, not busy at lunch today. Prompt, hot and fresh!

Diner Review №82

Picked up chicken drunken noodles, hands down best in the area. Moved from New York and have had my fair share of noodles, other competitors in the area don’t compete with this. Well rounded flavor profile, love it.

Diner Review №83

The duck anything is the way to go! Duck skin was crispy and the duck itself was moist. The whole fish was SO good. My kids even enjoyed the tender meat. The Salads were all fresh and had the perfect spice (they warn you that spicy is actually REALLY spicy and it was.) The drunken noodles were SO good. Service was great. The waitress was attentive and really kind.

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

Wow! This is the most authentic Thai restaurant we ever ate recently. Excellent food. Thai spice levels are REAL. So be careful specifying your spice levels. Thanks to the restaurant service who let us know about it.
We enjoyed the ambience, calm and serene atmosphere, courteous staff and service.
We first ordered Spring rolls and papaya salad. Spring rolls are very good and salad was good but not to die for. We got Pham Thai and Thai Basil fried rice. We LOVED both.
Oh ya, also we got so lucky to try their Coconut pudding. It’s made of fresh and delicate whole coconut with mild sweetness. They make this only twice a year (or maybe thrice!) - around Mathers day and Father’s Day.
This is the place we will have in our family dining list from now.
Highly recommend this place.

Diner Review №86

Best seafood red curry.

Diner Review №87

Great quality and friendly staff. Bets pineapple chicken dish I've had in a long time!

Diner Review №88

Amazing restaurant. Went in to place an order to-go. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and nice, and gave great recommendations. She told me it would take 5 minutes which I already thought was fast, and it was ready even sooner. Got the Yellow Curry with Chicken and it was delicious. Wanted it spicy and she warned me they can make it very spicy so she convinced me to go with a 3 instead of a 5, and I’m glad she did! Was just the right amount of spice. She also recommended a thai tea so I would hit the $15 minimum for credit cards. Had never had it and it was delicious. She gave me more recommendations to try for the next time as well, excited for the drunken noodles. Will definitely be coming back here!

Diner Review №89

The owner, Debbie, who took the order was very rude and condescending. Despite ordering precisely what I desired, she asked me to change the spice level. I agreed due to pressure. The food was sweet, not spicy!!
I requested that my food was too sweet for my pallet, she complained that she was busy with 4 other tables and would absolutely do nothing about it. She whined about being understaffed and how busy the kitchen was.
Very bad service!

Diner Review №90

Called their for order. Customer service was unprofessional. Absolutely unnecessary

Diner Review №91

The lady on front desk she so rude, disrespectful and I'm sure she's full of racism.

Diner Review №92

Really good thai food! There is a credit card transaction fee though which isn’t ideal. Other than that, the people here were very friendly and the food was delicious. Wish they would give a bit more rice; the tiny bowl is half of what I usually eat

Diner Review №93

Worst food and the food is overpriced they also charge 20% service charge and there’s a credit card transaction fee

Diner Review №94

The food was great and staff was nice, but we were turned off when the bill came and a 20% gratuity was included for a table of two. I believe this restaurant should have not added this as a mandatory charge. We would have tipped 20% regardless but I don’t agree with forcing customers to give a certain percentage of tips for a party fewer than 6 people. We questioned it and were told “yes, this is the total”.

Diner Review №95

The Service is 😞 bad. Her behaved haughty .
The food is just Half the amount in the box!.

Diner Review №96

I love Thai food, have been a fan for years. Diamond Thai is a real treat, authentic Thai cuisine and warm decor, beautiful for dining in.

Food: Amazing! Today we had Roti with a yellow curry as an app and Pad See Ew and Fried rice for entrees. Pad See Ew is my fave and they do it very well! The game changer for me was the Roti app...incredible curry flavors!

Our fam have been here about 3xs and they are consistently good. We have found our new go-to for local Thai food!

Diner Review №97

We have been eating here for years and have always loved the food. Tonight I ordered my regular dish of Mussaman Curry and when I arrived home with my order, I noticed that they had provided me with less than half of a container of rice to accompany the quart of curry. When I called to question this, they stated that they no longer provide a full serving of rice. This is a $15.95 dish and rice is one of the least expensive foods to prepare. Filling the container would cost less than .25 and would provide the customer with enough rice for the quart of curry. While I understand that this is a silly thing to be upset about, it's even more silly for Diamond Thai to have made this decision. If this is the direction that they have chosen to take to cut costs, I will find another Thai restaurant to give my business to.

This is the container of rice that I received. The egg is for scale.

Diner Review №105

Waiting 55 minutes for a pick up! Crazy

Diner Review №106

35 mins later, no one approached us to take our orders. We understand it can get busy and resources are limited but acknowledge your customers. Simple “sorry we’re busy” would be okay but nothing. We walked out of disappointment.

This used to be my go to Thai restaurant but never going back again!

Diner Review №107

I had went to this restaurant a couple days ago because I was craving mango sticky rice. I tell you, that mango sticky rice was the best I’ve ever had. I was even fortunate enough to try the mango shrimp salad and I was absolutely in love. The hostess (or manager) was so friendly and personable she made the experience great! I wish I can give more stars. Will definitely be returning real soon!

Diner Review №108

Amazing food. Staff and friendly and informative for food. One of our local favorites!

Diner Review №109

hidden gem in the Easton Center. staff were incredibly nice. loved the drunken noodles and gang ped yang. almost too much flavor, but perfect for me.

Diner Review №110

My daughter and myself went for dinner and enjoyed Roti Pancake, Tom Yum Soup and Drunken Noodles. Thai Iced tea was good too. We ordered Spice level 3 but the owner suggested to try the appetizer spice level before. We are grateful for that. Level 1 was perfect for us.. Good food and attentive service.

Diner Review №111

Awesome home cooked Thai food. Byob and plenty of parking. Clean well run and very nice owners.

Diner Review №112

Very unprofessional and impolite. Will never order again.

Diner Review №113

It was like going down the Rabbit Hole in Alice in Wonderland!

Diner Review №114

Where do I begin ?! From start to finish my friend and I had a lovely experience. We had a lunch date with our two sons and the waitress was so lovely and would keep refilling our cups with hot water while we drank green tea. She was very patient and explained the different dishes..we tried Gang Ped Yang Duck for the first time and it was delicious ! I am still thinking about it lol. We also had Tom Kha Gai and it’s the best I’ve ever tasted not too watery so creamy and savory, it was exquisite. We ordered Pad See Eue for our boys and they loved it ! I would highly recommend this place I have been to other Thai restaurants but this one is at the top of my list. From service to quality—5 stars across the board.

Diner Review №115

Diner Review №116

Didn't get a full feel for the service because I had take out, but the people were very nice and they had my food ready when I walked in. When ordering they made sure they had the order correct and explained the spice levels for us to make sure we knew what we were getting into.
I love spicy food and this did not disappoint. I had the pad kra Pao (36) with chicken. 5 stars, hands down. It came in like a broth so I had juice for my rice. Ample chicken for the price, perfect amount of heat, I would definitely recommend.
Also ordered the Vegi curry puffs. Not bad, I wish they came with the sweet chili sauce, but it had like a watermelon-cucumber vinegar which was light in comparison to the spice of the curry. Not really spicy, but others may wish they were. All came to about 40 with the app and 2 entrees, which is about 4 servings at least. Loving this place. I will definitely be back

Diner Review №117

Imagine ordering from a Thai place, asking for spicy, and then writing a bad review because it was too spicy? I read some of the other reviews on here and that is what i found. It’s THAI FOOD! Of course, it’s going to be spicy! Personally, I do have a very high spice tolerance and there are very few places that can actually turn up the heat for me. I called for pick up and, like many others, the lady warned me about the spice because I told her to set it on fire. After essentially trying to convince her I can handle anything, she gave me the real level 5 spicy and boy did she not disappoint. I personally LOVE it because it does have a very high spice level. On top of it actually being spicy, it does have very good flavor as well. Many places may be able to make food spicy but with almost 0 flavor. If you want true spicy Thai food, this is the place to go in the area. But don’t cry about it if you can’t handle the heat!

Diner Review №118

Great service and excellent food. Love the Pad Thai. Great Menu. Excellent plant based options.

Diner Review №119

Diamond Thai is very inconsistent with their quality of food. I usually get the pad see ew and pad ka nar. Sometimes, the pad see ew is very soggy and too chewy. Other times, it's perfect. I once ordered the pad ka nar and they included other vegetables for some reason. There was a LOT of Chinese cabbage, even though the dish didn't contain any of it the previous times I've ordered. The taste was not good either.

I officially stopped ordering from Diamond Thai after I was given a hard time for ordering level 5 spicy dishes over the phone. I was repeatedly told that this was very spicy, which I acknowledged that I had tried this level of heat at their restaurant and other Thai restaurants. The server eventually relented but then stated that they will not make the dish until I get there and pay for the food. There is no point in ordering ahead if I then need to wait there for my food.

The inconsistent quality of the food and the above incident convinced me to not return. I will satisfy my Thai food cravings at Thai Lanna instead.

Diner Review №120

If you are not sure which place to dine at, this is it!!! The atmosphere is perfectly serene, makes me feel zen and at peace. I strongly recommend the Mussamun curry and the Mango mousse. The mousse is my new favorite desert period. The food will leave your mouth watering! The owners are humble and grateful, and i am grateful go them for a wonderful experience despite these pandemic times 🙏🙏.

Diner Review №121

It's very difficult to find a good and consistent Thai Restaurant. This place his the spot. Authentic Thai taste and you know when you have spice levels 1-5 you're at the right place. Pad Thai was fantastic Level 1 (not too hot). Best Thai in the area!!! It's a must try.

Diner Review №122

We visited yesterday for the first time to celebrate a birthday. At first we were unsure because the strip mall it is in is dying. The restaurant ambience was rustic. I kept throwing in disclaimers to the spouse cause she does get disappointed easily and makes it known. Boy! Were we in for a rude shock! Okay. Enough drama 🙂. This place turned out to be the complete opposite of what it perhaps portrays. The hostess as everybody has mentioned does give ample warnings about spice levels which was kinda weird for us cause in our experience Thai food is anything but spicy. My spouse said “gimme level 5” but the hostess scared us enough for her to settle for a 2.5. Being less adventurous, I settled for a 2. The food flavor blew us both away! It was perfect. The spice would make itself known without choking you (not at first bite though 🙂). Overall a great dining experience. They have earned our Thai dining business.

Diner Review №123

This is Real Thai food. The red curry is awesome!!

Diner Review №124

Excellent Pad Thai

Diner Review №125

I love duck and they have an entire page of duck dishes! My crispy duck was amazing and my husband had the best Pad Lard Nar ever! I only wish I live in the area so I can visit more often.

The food is authentic, portions are big, customer service is nice, and very affordable! This is truly a hidden gem.

Diner Review №126

Terrific, friendly, warm restaurant. I felt very welcome and appreciated, which is not always the case. Food was terrific. I recommend it highly.

Diner Review №127

Delicious Thai food, but I must warn those who are used to conventional levels of spiciness to be prepared. The standards here are to THAI standards. Their spice levels may be shocking to the uninitiated. That being said, their food is extremely flavorful, and they even offer duck noodles, which many Thai places in the area do not offer. The indoor dining experience is also very clean and offers a very pleasant atmosphere.

Diner Review №128

Lunched with a group of friends on a Sunday. The host was a bit harsh; not sure if she had a bad day. Food is average but not as good as few other Thai restaurants in the areas.

Diner Review №129

Horrible server. Gave us with Mushroom even after mentioning about allergies

Diner Review №130

Pad Thai & Me in both delicious with Shrimp.

Diner Review №131

My friend and I came here on a Sunday afternoon and we don't regret it! Service is very friendly, I felt like I was eating at my aunties house. It was a girls' catch up session and we never felt rushed or interrupted. We started off with the veggie rolls and rotee pancake and both were very good. For our mains I got the yellow curry with chicken and my friend got the pad king with chicken as well. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and yummy. I got the regular spice level and didn't think it was too spicy, just perfect! We both walked away satisfied without feeling grossly full. Delicious Thai food, come support your small businesses 🙂

Diner Review №132

Will not be going back. Food was ok but service was terrible with an extremely rude and unpleasant waitress. We were all a bit surprised at how openly hostile the waitress was. With so many great places to choose from - will definitely be avoiding this one.

Diner Review №133

Lady is so rude but the food us great

I travel to Thailand once a year and this food reminds me of the real thing.

My favorite dish is the Thai peanut salad it's so delicious. If you like Duck, they have plenty of options.

I wish they would bottle their peanut sauce.

Diner Review №136

We came in for a dinner. The service was excellent and the order came out quickly.
The waitress was very pleasant and gave us good explanations and suggestions.
Everything was very tasty and made with fresh ingredients.
The only thing we did not like was the Tom kha soup which was extremely sour. If you don't like sour food do not order it!
Will be back to try some more. 🙂

1. Food is fine,

2. Service is what gave you single star.
2.(a) respect customer, don’t interrupt and stop being authoritative.
2.(b) why don’t you split the payment for a single table.

3. What happened to AIR Conditioning, in this summer I guess it is mandatory for it to be working.

Not going back here again. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Just by serving good food doesn’t make a customer came back to dining.

Diner Review №141

Friday, June 10th we ordered takeout from Diamond Thai cuisine as we had heard good reviews about it from some friends.

For an appetizer we got the curry puffs. While the outside of the pastry was flaky and a little soggy (we had gotten the order 2 hours later) the flavor was still good. However, the filling inside proved to be a little too sweet and oily for our taste.

For entrees we ordered the vegetarian drunken noodles with tofu and pananag curry with tofu and veggies. The curry unfortunately was too sweet (for spiciness level we had requested hot), but plentiful veggies were fresh. The drunken noodles unfortunately had the same issue with the spiciness level not being hot, but ended up being the most flavorful dish out of the three; the veggies in the drunken noodles were also cooked well. I appreciated that the tofu in both dishes was not overtly oily.

Overall, Diamond Thai left something to be desired on a Friday night (not sure if they were busy due to the NBA finals). I would be open to trying the food with in person dining but will also be shopping around at other Thai cuisines locally.

Absolutely love the food! I ordered basil fried rice with chicken with level of 2-3 spice. The spice was perfect!!

Diner Review №143

It was my first time trying Diamond Thai and it did not disappoint! The food is very fresh and the portions are very large. I placed my takeout order on the phone and the woman warned me about the spice levels. I said I wanted a three, and she told me that their spice levels are higher than other Thai restaurants. I listened to her and got a less spicy level (a level one), and I’m glad I listened! It was still very spicy but very enjoyable. The food was ready at exactly the time I asked for it and packaged really well and secure for takeout. It has become my new Thai spot!

What is the point of pick up order ? She said you never been here so when you come place the order and pay than we will make your food ! Seriously Covid is gone and they are high on attitude. What happen past 2 years when there were not getting any business in Covid ? Constancy is not there means you serve guest as you want ? No not going to spend my hard earn money to this place . Think before you go !!

Whenever I travel I always love to try the small mom and pop restaurants in the area and I am so glad I chose Diamond Thai. Our waitress was over the top amazing, she was very caring and checked-in on us frequently. The foot was outstanding, I got their pad-thai and I was so happy I did and It is now on my list of one of my favorite pad thais I have ever had. I really hope everyone has the chance to stop by and try them out, they are really amazing people with great food as well and I cannot wait to come back.

Diner Review №153

Great food and super friendly staff. Definitely liked the spice level and authenticity of the flavor, Pad Thai was great

Diner Review №154

Food is okay.. when ordering over the phone I said I wanted extra spicy — the person on the phone explained to me the spice levels and how it is rated by stars. I asked for 5 stars and she was shocked. She said people usually can’t even handle normal spicy. She then gave me spice level 2 on her own accord after trying to convince me how spicy her food is. For some reason she asked me to repeat the spice level she gave me numerous times with her over the phone for what I could only guess was reassurance. When i came to pick up my food.. they were very nice and then confirmed with me spice level again (with cook coming out even), which I thought was strange, but didn’t let it bother me. I also had to wait a while even after coming in a little later than the time they allotted for me over the phone. The food was fresh as it was just made, but not spicy at all — Was a bit down after that.

Great food, amazing service, must go!

Always great !!

Diner Review №159

Has become a dependable source of comfort food. Watch for the spice levels.. try default or mild even if you are a regular spice eater before venturing to level 1 or 2. Level 5 only if you are trying to incinerate your insides for fun.

Pad Kee Mao, Satae, Mus-Sa-Mun, Thai Ice Tea, Tom Yum Koong Soup, Tom Kha Gai Soup ... all top notch.

8 Is Enough was the only let down dish.. but everything else has been amazingly consistent and flavorful.

We love dining in this place. Food is so good and you can't resist coming back. You feel important because they they treat you special.

Diner Review №161

Tried Diamond Thai for the first time. Ordered takeout and the food was amazing. The decor inside was very nice and the staff was so welcoming. They helped decide what spice level would be best for us. Will definitely dine in next time. Neighborhood hidden gem.

Highly recommend this place. I've been to many Thai restaurants and so far, this place has the best Thai food I've had.

Diner Review №166

Great customer service! I have the Tom Yum soup from them whenever I feel sick and it always help. Their green curry is amazing also

Diner Review №167

I took a friend to lunch here once, and the food was merely OK. The place was empty, and yet the woman who served us was painfully slow at every step, and seemed to have a very negative attitude. I've heard from friends who enjoy the food here, but I prefer the prior Thai restaurant at this location. I may have to give it another try, but the first visit really put me off.

Diner Review №168

Ordered chicken satay and hot and sour soup one got there told me it was a different name not what I ordered it was like I just had to put up with it overall bad service I waste of $25

Diner Review №169

I absolutely love Thai Cuisine. Diamond Thai did not disappoint. I went there on date night at 6:30p on a Friday. It was not crowded at all. Everything we ordered was great! Spicy level of 3 is very spicy, so I recommend regular level or a level of 2 if you want to be adventurous, and level 3 or above for masters of spice. We ordered the House duck appetizer, it was crispy and savory deep fried duck skin and meat shredded on a bed of lettuce, onions and bell peppers and fish sauce. We ordered chicken satae as well and it was savory, not too dry. We also had the coconut chicken soup, which had mushrooms, onions and bell peppers. It was savory and sour, so yummy. For our entrée we had Thai basil fried rice with pork and beef. Their portions are generous and great pricing. It's a must try for lovers of Thai cuisine!!

Diner Review №170

Delicious! The duck portion was solid! Amazing curry and pad Thai. Service SO incredibly friendly. The women at the front explained they spice levels, recommended an entree and gave a treat to my daughter when we came in. Can’t wait to come back!

Food was too spicy and the lady would not remake it less spicy 🥵. Also they could use a little more chicken in the dish.

Soooo good. Absolutely loved the pad Thai cu. Careful with the spice, I got the lowest spice and it was still kind of hot for me.

Diner Review №178

Best thai food around. Mee Siam, drunken noodles and pad see ew are my faves

Diner Review №179

We LOVED this place. The Gang Dang was amazing and we also really liked the Special Chicken, would definitely go here again!

Diner Review №180

One of the hidden gems for Thai food!!! We went there on Thanksgiving day. It was takeout only. We ordered Veg Tofu Drunken Noodles and Thai Ice tea. The sweet lady on the counter asked about our spice tolerance between 1-5. We said 3, she suggested to keep it at 1-2 and not go beyond, and we're happy that we listened to her advice! It was the perfect spice that we were looking for. The flavors were just mind blowing and the quantity was generous. It was the best Drunken noodles we ever had!! We will be definitely going back for it when we'll visit New York next time.
Sorry I couldn't click picture as we were too hungry lol but trust me you won't be disappointed !

The food was great, the people working there were really nice and really informative about the food. I loved it and the portions where really worth it for the price and I’m a college student so I pay attention to that. Great place, will be back.

I picked up some vegetable curry puffs and Thai tea here, it was delicious! The curry puffs were very flavorful! The owner of this establishment is super nice. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food this is the place to go.

Diner Review №193

It has distinctive spiciness conpare to other places and it was ok, but most of the dishes were too salty.

Diner Review №194

Diner Review №195

Reasonable food.

Diner Review №196

Order placed was incorrect. Requested mildly spicy on a dish and had no spice. Called in and they didn’t even offer to correct the order. Also order sticky rice/sweet coconut rice and they said they didn’t have it but offered mango and sticky rice. Mango and sticky rice dessert comes with a serving of their sticky rice so not sure why they offered the dessert but said they don’t have the sticky rice at the moment….

Diner Review №197

The food was amazing! The spiciness is great too! They offer an "added spice scale" on 1-5. Go one level below what you would think you can handle the first time, you wont regret it.

Diner Review №198

Worst thai food we ever had. Chicken pad thai served with rubbery chicken. The whole dish smelled bad probably reused oil and mix of all other meat. Horrible taste.

Diner Review №199

Finally found the best drunkin noodles ever! Awesome people. Super nice

Diner Review №200

A few friends recommended this place to me, and I see why. Great food, friendly service, and healthy portions. I’ve only been once so far, but I will definitely be coming back.
