We came here from an ad in Spectrum Monthly a few weeks ago wanting to try a new restaurant. I did not know this place existed and I drive by Hudson all the time. I finally found a place that serves Botan Ebi! I also had a spicy tuna sushi and was surprised by the different style it was made - wrapped up like an Ikura or Uni sushi! They also used a different, flavorful sauce for the spice!

We had a hot and sour soup as well as the fried Gyoza. Both delicious and very fresh.
My husband enjoyed his Spicy Don and I had the Tom Yum Ramen. The Spicy Don was very flavorful and saucy. The Tom Yum ramen was just a little spicy (I would say on the milder side of medium). It was tasty, but I wish the flavor was more strong! Our drinks were also delicious.

Service-wise, our server was very polite and apologized for the wait. However, I didn’t feel like the wait was long at all! This was a nice, clean, and relaxing place. We will be back!

Dynamite Sushi in Hudson offers much more than just sushi. This family owned business seems to feature mostly Thai plates but has a variety of other Asian dishes available as well; Korean Beef and Japanese Ramen bowls, for example. There is a full bar here. If you’ve never tried Mochi (or Moji) Ice Cream before, this is the place. The prices here are very good. Closed Tuesdays. Highly recommended.

I got two rolls of sushi, Boston roll(10 pcs) and Mass roll(6pcs). The sushi was ok but they were literally the size of a quarter and half an inch thick. I couldn’t believe how small they were and I paid 24$ to still be super hungry. The 10pcs roll should have been cut into 6 pieces, and that would be the normal sizing of all the other sushi I have eaten. Sushi wasn’t bad, but I will not be going back. I wish I took a photo but I was so hungry.

I've been hearing about this place for years but I've never been.

If you're not an Asian food fanatic like I am, it's honestly probably a pretty good place to go. The food isn't too weird and the spice is pretty moderate.

Personally, I tried the sushi and a cooked dish and neither will happen again.

The server did lots of Japanese-ish things that didn't really make sense but I've been there. It might be fun if you're not super into it.

Food and service are always on point! Spicy sea weed salad will blow your balls off!

I stopped by for a quick bite, the employees were wicked friendly, the service was super quick and the food tasted fresh! I was pleasantly surprised because the business is located in a strip mall. I don't get to Hudson too often but when I'm in the area again, I'll be sure to drop in.

This was my 3rd or 4th time ordering from here and not sure I'll be back, despite Hudson not having many food options. I understand with inflation, times are tight but...the maki pieces tasted fine but were each barely larger than the size of a player's dice that you'd use for yahtzee. For reference they put two 6-piece rolls inside the smallest takeout container you'd ever get from an Asian restaurant. I had an excessive wait by about 15 mins (quoted 20 mins on phone) which is fine (on a busy day? Not the case today) But my pad Thai was not spicy as ordered, small for size, and the crispy pork on top was incredibly dry, not sure I can even eat it. Much better off driving across the river to Takumi in my opinion.

Very clean. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. I give the food a solid 4 stars. The chicken coconut soup was not the typical spicy Tom Gai Kai soup. I would prefer some spice with less sweetness, but it was still delicious. We'll be back.

Recently moved to the area and ordered take out. The food was phenomenal- we got the crispy chicken pad Thai, gyoza and the Godzilla roll. Everything was perfect- full of flavor, tasted fresh and not too greasy. I forgot to give delivery instructions and we’re in a house with multiple entrances up a steep driveway. I called the restaurant back and asked that the driver call me upon arrival. The woman who delivered had to be the owner- or a caring employee who recognized I was a new customer. She asked if I could show her my entrance and if the doorbell rang to my unit for next time, and was just overall super friendly. Would definitely order from here again or try dine-in next time!

This sushi and Japanese place fits its name: absolutely dynamite! Simply the best authentic Japanese food I have had. Even after moving 20 miles away, I still come back here whenever I can. Delicious and fresh sushi rolls, the best chicken katsu you'll ever taste, and friendly and helpful staff. You will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing. Drove over an hour to have lunch here with my wife after stumbling across it on a Google search. It was absolutely worth every minute of the drive. All of the sushi that we ordered was clearly made with very fresh ingredients and was wicked delicious. As a person that has spent time in Korea, I am usually slightly let down when ordering bulgogi in the states. The bulgogi at Dynamite Sushi is without question the best I've had in the states and is even better than some places in Korea. The meat was flavorful and so tender that it just dissolves in your mouth. My wife had the chicken tempura and was also very delighted with how tender and moist the meat was within the perfectly fried, crunchy exterior. I will certainly be making the drive to come here time and time again.

Decided to branch out and try the "hidden gem" of Hudson. I was truly disappointed by the price, wait time and taste of the food.

For starters I ordered a "large" miso soup and received what many other restaurants in the area serve as a small (demonstrated by me pouring the soup into small container received the other day from another sushi restaurant). The Miso soup was delivered in a styrofoam cup to which I transferred into a plastic container I normally receive my SMALL miso soup in. Besides being over charged for soup, the taste was mediocre at best and tasted old.

The pad Thai portion is MUCH SMALLER than other restaurants around and cost at least $4.00 more depending on how you get it. On top of that had a very strong fish oil taste, and yes I know fish oil is used for pad Thai but I have never truly tasted the fish oil as strong as this. I was upset at how great the meal looked and how flavorless the chicken turned out to be/ how strong the fish oil was. I ate the whole thing however, would I order again, no.

Was really hoping this would be my new spot however, after my first attempt I don't foresee me revisiting. If you like small portions, being overpriced and long waits, this is your spot!

This place is phenomenal. They have a long history of "Every meal is excellent, every time" in my experience. I have been ordering from Dynamite Sushi for several years. My first time eating here was around 2009. I ordered chicken noodle soup, no vegetables. And it is by far the best chicken noodle soup I have ever had from an oriental dining establishment.

I recently introduced my boss to Dynamite Sushi, and it has become his new favorite spot for sushi. Although a California Roll is the most basic and beginner type of sushi, I have to acknowledge their fried California roll. I had never heard of something similar before where the sushi is fried, but we were blown away.

Forgive me for not remembering her name; I also have to acknowledge the woman who usually works at the front desk and or waitress during lunchtime on the weekdays. She is super friendly and welcoming and always has a smile. She even remembers things about you if you come by more than once. I'm the "chicken noodle soup no vegetables" guy. 😁

They have some awards displayed in front of their lobby, and I can see why that is. Dynamite Sushi is my number one favorite sushi restaurant in all of New England.

Went here for lunch. Staff is friendly, prices were fairly expensive. Sorry but a blob of Tobiko on a leaf doesn't do it for me, hot and sour soup was terrible and tasted like it just came from a can. I was the only person in the group to eat the soup, it later gave me terrible diarrhea. I cannot recommend Dynamite Sushi and will NOT be back.

Hidden gem sushi joint in a dated strip mall. Don't let the outside of this place fool you, the inside has a passionate owner and chefs that create edible art. My partner has celiac and we get the GF pad thai as take-out a lot, but sometimes go for the dining experience with amazing sushi dishes.

This was my first time here. The wait was a little long for my food to come out, but the staff gave me soup on the house. Understaffed, poor woman at front was doing everything, took 10 minutes to grab ready takeout because she also had to wait tables. Sashimi was chewy and not fresh, Maki was ok but they packed cold rolls with the cooked rolls in the same container so everything ended up being unpleasantly warm.

Me and my girlfriend both got mild food poisoning after going to dynamite sushi. I observed about 15 pounds of salmon sitting un-refridgerated for the almost 2 hours we were there. Also, the "hot and sour soup" consisted of what looked like (and tasted like) Campells chicken and vegetable soup with a teaspoon of chilli powder stirred in; complete with nibblet frozen corn, carrots and green beans.

A dozen years ago, a friend who lived in Hudson raved about a sushi place called Dynamite. Fast forward to today, my Dad and I found ourselves in Hudson looking for lunch. It was as delish as my friend had described - lots of fun rolls. The Heartbreaker and White Dragon were my favs, dad loved the sweet potato and spicy tuna. Very kind service. A great little place.

I'm really shocked by the positive reviews for sushi--- I'm guessing a lot of those people haven't had sushi many other places? Its slightly better than the other sushi in the area but that's NOT SAYING MUCH lol. Their thai food is pretty good, with real heat. Just kind of greasy/oily though.

So i live in north carolina and i drove like 16 hours just to eat their chicken katsudon. I literally just picked it up and I am now driving back. I have been eating here for like the last 10 years and I keep coming back every so often. I haven't slept much and I'm driving back. Pray for me, but know that my chicken katsudon was amazing.... I got the gyoza too

I absolutely love thier food. It's great dine in or take out. The only downside was that they were out of Sapporo beer.

No matter what time you call to place an order you will be looking at least an hour and half. They are rude and they either want your order or will do anything to push you away.

I really wanted to like this place. We heard good things from a local who eats from here frequently, and the reviews online seemed fine. A group of us ordered a pad thai and a sushi boat to share. The presentation of the food was excellent. My miso soup was really tasty. But everything else was inedible. The pad thai tasted like noodles soaked in teriyaki and peanuts, and the few pieces of sushi I managed to eat (I tried a few different ones, just to see) had an odd gummy texture and a strong "fishy" taste as though it wasn't terribly fresh. The imitation crab meat and the octopus  were so rubbery, I had to spit them both out after chewing for a very long time. Perhaps we came at a bad time or on an "off" day, but I don't think I will be eating from here again.

We have been going to dynamite for 19 years. We have never had a single bad meal there. Ever. When Ho and Mia sold the place we were terrified that the new owners would ruin our amazing dynamite sushi. Thankfully Song has kept up the amazing reputation! She is the sweetest woman! I had open heart surgery in feb and she made sure to pray for me on the day of my surgery. Amazing people and amazing food! Can’t go wrong! Highly recommended the katsu maki, pad Thai lunch bento box.
