The fried tofu, red curry and duck pho are my favorites. The food is fresh and on point every time, I notice that the veggies are cut in different shapes from visit to visit, meaning they cut them all in house and have some fun with it! They will /actually/ make it spicy for you. I love spicy and level 5/5 is pushing it for me. Plenty of options for my vegan friends as well. I don't go anywhere else for Thai food.

This is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant in town. The staff is so kind and the food has never been anything other than AMAZING. I will continue to frequent this place for as long as their open :)

I was traveling when we picked Original Thai. The Pad Thai was top-notch. The green curry was pretty good, too. The woman who served us was a sweetheart, nice as can be.

First time here. They were so nice on the phone. I went inside early, before my phone order was ready to ask about making me something with an ingredient I am allergic to. He was so kind, helpful and spoke to the "kitchen". The female was equally sweet and kind. We got our first order from there and both were absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection and flavorful. The ingredients are fresh and real. This place will be our regular Thai place. Don't let the simple, barely noticeable location fool you. The food is worthy of a castle.

BEST ORIGINAL THAI in town. Have tried several others but by far this is the best. Location is strange, but don't miss it. Owners are very friendly and do what they can to please every customer. I noticed there were a lot of take-out, if you can, stay in and eat - it's worth it. Clean, small, cozy and very friendly. I've had several things there and everything is the best.

THE BEST THAI RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER VISITED! They were very nice by helping us customize our food based on our Jain diet requirements. They were very sincere in telling me all the food ingredients for each item!!! The food was really tasty and we will visit again!!!

Prices are a little steep but worth it. Specialty meals will start out around 13 and go up to 20. I got a pumkin curry that has a good sweet flavor.

Great place. The owner is very personable and friendly. Food is great! We’ve liked everything that we have eaten there. Personal favorite is the Pad Se Ew. And just FYI, the heat scale is skewed to the HOT. Medium can take your head off depending on the dish.

First time experience. I ordered the larb with pork and the spicy basil with chicken. The larb was really spicy the way that I wanted and good portion compared to other places, but it was pretty bland compared to other larbs I've tried in town. And the spicy basil was good, but I was pretty disappointed in the portion. Not bad over all, but for me, not something to write home about.

The decor is modest, but who cares. everything I've tried here is excellent, and the sauces I could eat straight.

This place deserves 6 stars. Outstanding food and the staff is amazing. Ordered ahead to eat in and they had a place set for me when I arrived with the food still steaming hot. Truly amazing.

Best vegetable fried rice in I’ve had

Wouldn't have expected a place attached to a gas station to be good but they actually have really decent food. Their portions are great and their ingredients fresh and abundant. I love their drunken noodles! The only weird thing is the most recent time we walked in, -the guy just stared at us and said "we close at 8:30" even though it was 7:45. It was so awkward but the lady behind the register was very kind.

I have been coming here for years now. Truly authentic food and delightful staff.

It is by far my favorite restaurant in all of Reno. I will be coming here for many years to come!!

I usually go here often, but tonight was terrible. I'm Asian, and my husband is not. We asked for the restroom key and the older gentleman at the counter told my husband to go to the gas station attendant to get the key. I decided to order instead, and ended up spending $85 on my food. We were asked to wait in our car for the food and not wait inside. As we were waiting in the car, my husband and I see one of the family members grab a key from the wall, and head towards the bathroom. They had a key the whole time, but would not let my husband use it. That's discrimination!!!

This restaurant is great, I really enjoyed there curry soup. Also service was perfect, drinks were full and plates came out quickly.

Don't usually leave reviews but I'm still thinking about their Pad Kana Moo Krob (pork belly with Chinese broccoli) 4 days later. I'm ready to start working there just to learn how they cook it that perfectly. To get pork belly crispy in a saucey dish isn't always easy but my food was amazing! We had take out and they even brought the food to my car since I had my dog with me in the back. Wonderful business and service.

Second time I've been here. I've ordered the curry, mango w sticky rice, pad thai and original thai noodle soup. In my honest opinion, I felt like some dishes were a hit or miss. The curry can definitely use more vegetables in it (carrots, potatoes and onions), but the flavor of the curry itself was good. Mango sticky rice was fairly good and sweetened. I always order pad thai in thai restaurants (favorite dish), so I was expecting more. The ingredients were there, but the noodles were dry overall because there was not enough sauce or oil in it. I've always felt like pad thai should have a good balance of this because it's a noodle dish, but unfortunately both times, it was dry. I'm assuming that's how they make it here. The thai noodle soup tasted a bit bland to me. What's most important is the broth in this particular dish. It didn't have much flavor to it and I ordered chicken w it. The noodles were cooked well along w the steamed bean sprouts. What would've made it better is a side of cilantro, herbs and a wedge of lime (maybe just a personal preference of mine). Please take my opinion w a grain of salt. I like to support local family businesses as much as I can and especially my southeast Asian community. And I grew up eating these dishes at home and other restaurants. These main dishes ran about $12 each. The mango sticky rice was $6, so it's affordable. I would go back for the dishes that I know were good. I would probably try their fried rice dishes next.

Hands-down best Thai food in Reno/Sparks, every time we visit the area we have to stop here for the amazing "C1" Spicy crispy Pork with fragrant sauce and crunchy green beans, as well as drunken noodles and thai tea. Good beer selection as well, I highly reccomend Leo if you're in the mood to try something new ^_^

The chicken curry soup is the most delicious experience my taste buds came in contact with and...dare I say maybe a slight spiritual "experience"?

Best Thai food in all of Reno and Sparks. I have absolutely loved every dish I have ordered and highly recommend giving them a try. Online ordering is a breeze if you want to pick up your order. Spice levels tend to be on the high end so keep that in mind if you order your dish spicy.

Their heat ranking system for how spicy you want your food is only 1 to 3. Thinking it was 1 to 5, as is more common around town, I ordered Pad Thai at level 3. I finished it and it was delicious, but at the max of my ability to withstand!

We eat at restaurants all over the country and this is one of my favorites by far. Found it by accident about 6 months ago and I'm obsessed.

Great food! Welcoming atmosphere! We could choose from many places to eat Thai food in Reno/Sparks but this is always our family’s favorite spot. Try the pineapple fried rice for something different. They have HUGE spring rolls and they actually give you a large peanut sauce that is enough for the order. Most places we need to ask for extra sauce.

Maybe it was the day that we were there but some items were not as flavour full as we expected (especially after all the reviews) but overall it was pretty good. There are other better restaurants but if you are close by this is still good

The food here is really good, and I would recommend giving them a try. However, if you are going to be dining with someone else you may want to arrive at different times. Throughout most of the meal either I had food or my wife did, but rarely both. My appetizer was brought to the table, then about 10 minutes later her soup arrived just as I was finishing. A couple minutes later my entree arrived. A ridiculous 20 minutes later her entree finally arrived, just as I was finishing mine. Maybe they were trying to time out the meal so that the courses weren't stacked on top of each other, but they failed miserably and we wound up having a horrible experience in which we each basically sat and watched the other eat.

Amazing vegetarian options, excellent quality food. I would highly recommend. Love the tofu larb and the veggie spring rolls. We have never eaten anything from here that we didn't like *except* do be careful of the heat level you order. We ordered our takeout 'hot' and I was running around my dining room with tears streaming down my face!!

This is a great place. The food was absolutely delicious (just watch out for the thai chillies). I had the Pad Ka Prow Moo Krob and the pork belly was phenomenal. Wife had the Thai Cashew Nut and loved it. We had the pot stickers as an appetizer and they were also very good. The Thai Tea is some of the best we've had.

The portions are ample and well priced. The inside is very clean and pleasant. The staff (owners) are very friendly and attentive.

We will definitely be back for more. Will add photos next time we get back there.

Original Thai has some of the best curry dishes I've ever had!

I took a seat to wait for my food and could see people getting busy on my order in the semi-open kitchen space. After a few minutes, my order came out hot and ready. Once I got home, I excited dug into the fresh spiced pad see ew. It had a generous amount of veggies and chicken and the seasoning was spot on.

Place rocks!! I've never eaten there but I do know that it's been at a location that would just destroy other restaurants. 5+ years it has survived there.
That convinces me that the owners, food and the service must be remarkable.
I do believe it is a family operation so you might get a small child offering you water or napkins. Doesn't bother me, kinda quaint ya know.

Food made my wife and I sick, owner was rude and refused to refund my money. Avoid unless you like food poisoning. Not a good food take out.

Initially we were contemplating if we should visit this place for 2 reasons - 1. It is pretty off of Reno in sparks and 2. Looking at the pictures the place looked small. The place is small and simple. But The food was fanatastic and worth every penny. We ordered green curry and it was prefect spice level. We never mentioned what spice level we wanted. Staff is friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend this Thai place for anyone looking for good Thai food. Will visit again
