The atmosphere is rather plain, and no one greeted us at the door. We sat ourselves and were eventually greeted by the lone waiter. He was attempting to be clever, but he wasn't funny. There were 5 occupied tables, and two of them had already been served. When the waiter eventually came to take our order, he was still trying to be clever, but we were just ready to order. He took our order, and we proceeded to wait and wait and wait. At some Thai restaurants, what we ordered would have been out in 10 minutes flat. Other Thai places that we have visited, maybe 15 to 20 minutes would be a longer wait. We waited for over an hour. My wife was livid, hungry, and ready to walk out. The food was exceptionally mediocre, and there was no excuse for it to have taken that long. We ordered fried rice and Drunken noodles. That's it!! No drinks, no appetizers. There was no apology for the excessive wait because this is apparently their "Normal" wait time. We shall never return and we just thought people should know before they eat there what they should unfortunately expect.
This place is a hidden gem! The food here is of extremely high quality, and the taste is amazing. The service is just as impressive, and I always look forward to coming here to enjoy such delicious cuisine. Every time I visit, it feels like home. I absolutely love this place! I would highly recommend eating here—it's an incredible experience.
This is the best Thai restaurant in the area. The owner is so nice person and very much welcoming that makes the feeling like home. I love the food and taste and quantity. Everything is awesome. Must try if you visit Death Valley for lunch or dinner.
If you want food with no spice and get insulted and ignored then this is the place to go. I highly doubt they make things with much flavor seeing where their restaurant is. Looking at you lady who was choking on egg drop soup because she thought it was spicy.
This little "hole in the wall" is a wonderful find! The waiter Max, is a character full of unexpected punches that keep you laughing. The food is awesome, and full of flavor. The Coconut soup rocks! If you're in Pahrump or just passing through on your way to Death Valley or Dumont Dunes this is a "must stop" you shouldn't pass up.
This is a great find the service was amazing. And the panang curry was incredible. The restaurant was not to crowded which is upsetting since the curry was sooo good. But it also made for a relaxing atmosphere. I'd give it 6star if I could.
Our waiter was hilarious! The food took a long time to come out, but they only had one person in the kitchen and they were busy. But, it was worth the wait - everything was excellent!
mi
This place never opens at 11am!!!!
By far the worst and possibly most expensive Thai food ever! I ordered the mixed fried rice. It was greasy, full of very fatty meat, and was almost $20.00 for one entree.
Great food and great chats ✨
This places wonderful if you like Thai food. Your waiter is a great guy and funny and a woman making your food makes great food. What else do I need to say. I love this place and the people.

The server was absurdly rude and the food was without flavor after having asked for spice.

Sooo delicious

很好吃的泰餐,没有美式化,很清淡。旅途中在这个小镇有这样一顿食物很舒服。

Every time I go to pahrump to go riding and explore the mines this is either the first place I go to or the last. Hidden gem!!
Great little place. Everything is freshly prepared, the waiter is very knowledgeable and makes you laugh. We enjoyed our meal and would go back!
Great food
Absolutely love this little gem tucked away out of town. Everything we have ordered has been delicious, hot, and LARGE portions. The family that runs the business are friendly and very talented cooks. It can take some time if you order in house when they are busy but, it is worth the wait. The pad thai and chicken satay are staples for me, but everything my family has tried has been wonderful.
A little slow and we didn't eat altogether but that's okay!!! The food was Freshly Hand Made and was DELICIOUS 😋 Very much worth the wait!!! Thank Them Very Much!!!
Very Very good food.
This is a small family business so sometimes there is a wait, but it's totally worth it. Yummy food served by an awesome waiter. Try their spicy eggplant and drunken noodles. Hands down my favorite restaurant in town.
During our 3-week journey around California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah, this was the best meal and most enjoyable dining experience. The authentic Thai flavours were delicious, and Max was the perfect, most friendly host. A wonderful evening in an unexpected corner of Nevada!
Wonderful family. Mom's recipes are excellent. Great food at reasonable prices.
Good service only issue with service was the appetizers came out to close to main course needs to be spaced apart. The fried shrimp was really good, but egg rolls were overdone. The main course lacks meat. I had more noodles than meat, and my husband had the same issue. Our server was extremely friendly. Overall good experience, but I would like to see them not over pound the meat and then serve a small quantity of meat with noodles and vegetables.
Oh my God I ate so much I am so over full and it is so good everybody in pahrump should go there
Great food and service
Great Food Great Peoples
The best food & super friendly staff...
This small business is a mother and son operation that emphasize on customer satisfaction. Although a bit pricey, the food is very good...
Order chicken noodle soup 3 star spice. It had no favor, and no spice and very little chicken, I was so disappointed. My 2nd time eating there and I don't think I will return. I even said I was disappointed and no correction at all just ( so sorry).. not acceptable.. well I guess I won't return anymore..
This restaurant is beautiful and magical ✨️
Wow, what a hidden gem! I stopped by My Thai Pahrump last night and was blown away by the flavors and hospitality. The Pad Thai was cooked to perfection, with a delightful balance of sweet and savory notes. The Green Curry was creamy and spicy, with tender chicken and crisp vegetables. But what really made my experience stand out was the warm and attentive service. Max is friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel like family. If you're a Thai food lover like me, or just looking for a delicious meal in Pahrump, look no further than My Thai Pahrump. Five stars and can't wait to come back!"
It was our very firstbtome there. I local guy and his girl friend highly recommended this place. Excellent hot, freshly prepared food to my liking. Very reasonable priced. Very clean restrooms and dinning area. Very friendly staff for a mom and pop restaurant. Worth the trip to eat here.
I just adore max and his family! It’s REAL Thai food. I’ve been to Thailand 🇹🇭 so I really feel the authenticity! I love how max remembers what you like to drink like literally every time! He is funny and a kindred spirit…. It takes time for your food but it’s always worth the wait for home cookin 💕
totally like you are in a thai kitchen in bangkok 100% recommend anything on the menu.
We were greeted by the most friendly host! While trying to decide what to order, I was asked what I might like, when I told him Spicy Mint, he suggested the Garlic and Mushroom Pork with drunken noodles. It was amazing. Everything was delicious, definitely going to be repeat customers!!
Food was amazing. Restaurant was family run by mother and son, they were very friendly and funny and provided a nice environment. The food came on time and was delicious. overall we loved it.
First of all the best Thai food I have ever eaten. This is a family run business so if you are expecting fast food go to a franchise restaurant that has 15 people in the kitchen. You will wait for your food but it is made fresh and by people who care about the quality of your food. Yes the location is not the best but the place is very clean. People drive from Vegas to eat here. The calamari is the best I have ever had.
The google hours are incorrect. Drove an hour here and place wasn’t open 30 minutes after it was supposed to be open
Love the food and love the vibe definitely the best!!
Just as promised by other reviewers!!! Great food in a very unimpressive location which was somewhat out of the way from where we were staying in Pahrump! Amazing and attentive service. Max, the lone server, is a delight and made our experience here all the more memorable!
For a small town the food was good. Max was wonderful.
Gros coup de cœur :) pareil comme en Thaïlande !
The atmosphere is rather plain, and no one greeted us at the door. We sat ourselves and were eventually greeted by the lone waiter. He was attempting to be clever, but he wasn't funny. Believe the bad reviews. An hour to receive super bland food.
Great service, fantastic food, we spent our 22nd anniversary there for dinner and it was very pleasant. The waiter was very nice and funny. Everything is made fresh so it takes a little bit to make, but is well worth the wait. Best place to eat in Pahrump.
Worst experience EVER! Ignored by employee for 10 min. While waiting up front - then ask to be seated he hands me 4 menus- and walks away- he’s busy so I give him a few minutes- but then another table of 4 enters right after me- and they are immediately greeted and sat- then the waiter brings out a bottle of Jack Daniel’s and proceeds to do a round of shots with them- meanwhile I haven’t even got a hello or water - and other customers are clearly annoyed and waiting for him also- DO NOT GO TO THIS THAI RESTAURANT- the Thai Bistro in town is much better and the service is great!
I have never been there
The place is family owned and run by 3 people. The food takes a while to come out but IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE WAIT. Probably the most delicious Thai Curries I’ve ever had. Also, the server has a great sense of dry humor that will keep you entertained :)
Very good family-owned small restaurant! The parents prepared super delicious thai food. Also like the family’s story about how they came to US and built this restaurant.
Very surprised to find a great place like this in the middle of nowhere. Fantastic food.
Our best dinning experience during the entire trip to Las Vegas and nbhd. Max was great! We actually went to My Thai twice. The first time we were told the waiting time would be one hour. The day after we went for a late lunch. I guess those who voted low were compaining about the waiting time? I definitely think it is worthy waiting. Their beef curry is a must try.
Worth a detour. Great service, food and price.
This place is so small you might not know it was there. Believe me it's worth the trouble to find it. The food is wonderful. The owner will be your host. This guy is made of charisma! His mother will be cooking your food in the back. Not only do I love the food, I love the people also. If you don't have a laugh talking to him there's something wrong with you. ❤️❤️❤️
The food is still amazing as well as the conversation. The guy is just so funny. It makes it even better that I have no idea what he looks like. Amazing people make you smile.
Thank you for being Amazing!
This place is never open....
We had such a great experience the first time we were in the area for holidays that we made a detour to visit my thai again - did not disappoint! The food us great and the owner is super friendly and entertaining! Would recommend if you're in the area!
I have been looking for an authentic Pad Woon Sen for a long time. Most places have been sub-par at best. This dish at My Thai, however, was absolutely delicious! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
The staff is kind, attentive, and friendly. Will definitely be back and bringing guests.
Great place to eat great environment
Very good!
Went in for my first time for take out. The guy was super friendly and accommodating of my changes to the meal. He was funny and had a great exchange. The price is great for the portion size and I will definitely be back in soon!
Excellent fresh food and great service
Une très belle expérience : cuisine excellente, pleine de saveurs et ambiance très sympathique. Un restaurant thaïlandais à ne pas rater...
服務員親切、不會因為你是外國人就不大與顧客聊天。餐點好吃份量也很夠。
good food, this place has its own personality, don't be in a rush if you go there its not what its about
Went by on a Thursday. Closed. Hope they are still in business. Odd location. Should be on the strip, they would make a killing
Family run, very authentic Thai food. The son waited on us and was a character. We will definitely come back.
Sehr freundlicher Service.
Wir hatten 5 verschiedene Gerichte, alle sehr gut gemacht und reichhaltig. Preis-Leistung geht auf jeden Fall in Ordnung.
Sadly they were closed the day I stopped by. Was doing laundry next door and wanted to eat there.
Das Restaurant ist eine 5 von 5 ⭐️
Der Kellner ist super freundlich und das thailändische Essen das Beste, was wir je gegessen haben.
Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!! 🔝
My wife and I go to My Thai at least once a week. We like everything that we have ordered. On different occasions we have repeated previous orders. We always get the wonton soup. The cashew chicken is excellent. The fried rice is excellent. The pad thai noodles are excellent. The Satay chicken was excellent. There is an appetizer plate that is delicious. Do not go in there expecting it to be a fast food place. Set aside at least an hour. The food is made to order. A secret is to call ahead of time and tell Max when you are going to be there. They will start preparing it for you. Max is is an unusual waiter. He entertains, talk to you about different things, and is just funny. He is entertaining although some people might not understand his personality. The portions are generous and if you try different things than the bill could be a little high. As many times as my wife and I have been in there I have not taken a picture. I will take a picture the next time and post it. This is the best Thai food that I have ever had. I recommend it highly for you to try. Tell Max that John Dutton said hi.
Delicious and tasty!
The best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is amazing and the flavors are wonderful.
Max should become a standup comedian with his hilarious jokes, smiling eyes, and A+ attitude! Incredible service aside (which, seriously, top tier), the Thai tea, drunken rice, and beef and meatball noodle soup were superb! Plus the portions were GENEROUS! As the first place visited after moving to Pahrump, I feel more even happier knowing My Thai is in town.
Big portions but dry noodles and chicken scraps
This place is a small hole in the wall. If you blink, you'll miss it.
Max, the owner, is very humble. He's a wonderful host! We had a great time with him.
The food is spectacular, so many flavors on your tongue. Authentic, great prices, ambiance, and company. My new go-to in Pahrump.
The best Thai food I ever had! The food is super yummy and they work well with extreme gluten intolerance. I can’t have like any lactose either. I have never gotten sick! You’re food may take awhile but it’s well worth the wait! Max and everyone is super friendly too!
WOW best Thai food in pahrump 😋
Max and his parents have a great place! We drive 200 miles for MyThai. In fact we are scared to try any other Thai food restaurants because we are afraid of being let down.
Amazing food. Cooking old school style mom on the stove i've never tasted thai food just good
Good food & clean facility.
Small dining room area with a few booths & tables.
Great service & food. Food made fresh and family owned
Great/authentic food & great owner!
We arrived around 6.45 pm and they could not allocate us a table and refused to serve us because they are so occupied with the online orders that they will not be able to serve dine-in customers!!! Some other customers had been waiting for an hour and they couldn't serve them. Pathetic attitude.
I had the Spicy Mint Crispy Pork. It was delicious. The service was excellent the hospitality was perfect. I’m coming back.
The male waiter was rude as hell and was talking nonsense. Either he was having a bad day, or that's just how he is. Not coming back, lmaoooooo
My coworkers and I went here for a lunch get together. I arrived shortly after my coworkers did. I heard the attendant say he was going to get t ready amongst other things that I couldn't make out. When he brought the tea to our table one of my coworkers asked if she could get a different tea? The attendant snapped at her rudely telling her she was going to have to wait. Then got in her face and ask her again, "Can you wait?" We all looked at each other wondering why he had responded so rudely but continued our conversation. The server then returned to the table next to us all while commenting that my coworker was ordering food & stealing his money. We had still not ordered anything. We all decided to get up and leave. This is by far the worst customer service i've experienced in Pahrump.
If you ever need a reason to come to Pahrump Nevada, this is it. The food is fresh, well prepared, delicious and the service is top notch.
The Drunken Noodles were awesome. The noodles were just right, the vegetables were crisp and the seasoning was spot on. I chose a #5 heat level, not over the top but enough to make my nose run 😉. They go all the way to #10 for those who like it real hot 🥵.
Next time you're in Pahrump, have a meal at My Thai.
Do you want food? Do you want the best Thai food ever? Come here, seriously, I do not care where are going or where you came from. This place will leave an imprint on you. I feel like I was adopted by a Thai family for a couple hours and they made me dinner.
food was great! max was enjoyable to listen to.
Best Thai meal in days and possibly next couple of months - surprise us with tons of pretty really close to Thai taste - if you wanna taste real Asian food then tell the chef - next? Just enjoy
Love love love this place
Really disappointed last visit. That's why 3stars
One of the finest Thai food places. This place is pretty low-key in a nice town. We were driving towards Vegas from Death Valley and stopped by this place. Their fried tofu and pad thai dishes are delicious. The quality and quantity are spot on. Highly recommend this place.
100/5 If you are in Pahrump this is a must stop. Max makes every day feel like Christmas!
Great food great service
Had delicious food, great chat from the waiter (owner?). A bit reluctant to add spice and tables are served for one at the time so took a few more minutes than some places. both out curries and soup were super tasty!
Great food and the son was a riot!!
I did not have high hopes for this place…boy was I wrong!! This is the BEST Thai food I have ever eaten!! I got the yellow curry with tofu and mixed veggies with tofu and my husband got the crispy mint pork. Insanely delicious and perfectly spiced.
My favorite place
I have some very limited experience with leaving reviews… however, felt it important to leave one for this restaurant. Place is legit. Very clean, well prepared. Can be considered rough around edges… as it does look to be a hole in the wall. However, DO NOT let the look scare you away. It is very good food. Menu and prices due need to be updated… but will go back again.
Fantastic Thai food and can be very entertaining.
It was Just a little too warm in there for me but everything else was great
I love this place, the people here at this place is very nice, as for the food I couldn’t get enough it was delicious, it’s a gem in the desert.
Absolutely fantastic Thai food. The portions are well sized and the staff is extremely, kind, attentive, and funny. Environment is warm and comfy.
The quality of their food is great
Food was perfect, waiter was friendly and had a great sense of humor. They ate not the fastest in serving, but it is NOT a fast food restaurant. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
Excellent curry and drunken noodle!
Best Thai food in the area. The owner is hilariously funny. Seriously, some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had.
Quirky...
I had the general chicken and there was plenty. Fresh, hot and delicious. The server was real friendly and funny. I will definitely be back.
waiter was so nice, we first come in and he offers us this amazing candy, than gives us water due to the heat outside, and when we are eating for our food he gives us ice cream also due to the heat. this is hands down the best customer service i’ve ever had. not to mention the amazing thai food they have here. 10/10 best thai food in pahrump
Small family owned spot, don't be in a hurry dining here, but this is some genuinely incredibly delicious Thai food. It's a gem!
Seriously tasty AF! Best panang have ever had, really large portion for the price, no booze but couldn’t care less with the food & service quality. Just awesome
First time ordering here so I went with the pad thai. First impressions; Decent portion. I can probably eat this for lunch with a bit leftover for a snack, but not a whole second meal.. I like that the noodles are firm and not overcooked nor were they soggy while waiting to get picked up. Shrimps are flavorful like little prawns. I like that the egg is a prominent element. I do feel the peanut flavor lacks a certain richness. Comes complete with a wedge of lime. I'd give it a solid 4 outta 5.
Great service, best Thai food I've ever had!! I heard people come from Vegas to get this authentic tasty food.
An amazing gem of a restaurant! Authentic, delicious food made with fresh ingredients! Service is top notch, the best Thai food around even compared to anything in Vegas!!!
Order Tofu w/ veggies, it was good. They want cash only, clean, pretty quick service. The food needed some seasoning, not just spice. I'll try again.
Their green chicken curry is simply AMAZING and I am VERY picky about my Thai food!!!!
The food is exceptional
Great place good food owners are awesome please come and support local businesses.
Delicious food. Hot and made to order. Attentive service, bit of a wait.
My favorite Thai Restaurant! If i could i would eat here everyday!!!
Can't believe that I went to try this restaurant with my friend waited 2 hours for my food and it came out cold never again. And the manager don't even really care very disappointed will not come back to this restaurant again.
Private how great prices and live the food fresh
AMAZING! Loved everything Max recommended. You won't be disappointed!
The waiter took his time explaining the dishes to make sure we were getting what we wanted. The pineapple fried rice was really good!
My first time actually eating here. It was nice and relaxing, the waiter was informative and very kind. Will definitely be coming back again.
Tied for the very best cashew nut chicken I’ve had anywhere in the country. And I’ve had a LOT.
Loved our experience at My Thai. Delicious food and warm ambiance. They have small sitting area, so don’t mind if you are sent back because of no availability. They are a team of mom & son who runs the restaurant. Mom is an amazing chef. Sometimes you need to wait a little longer to get served, but hey mom is the only one in kitchen & they are trying to give you best food experience, so bare with them. You won’t be disappointed.
Fresh, delicious food prepared with love. It is a family business. We had a an amazing experience at My Thai. We will definitely be back.
I love this place. I always eat here when I am in town visiting my family. The host is always respectful, funny and nice! Remembers my order even though i eat there seldom. The family is Asian and works to keep recipes authentic. I highly recommend this spot for dark skin folks, like me.
After waiting 30 minutes for a to go order we were told it would take "long". They told us they serve dine in customers first, but they never mentioned that when we ordered.
