Hawaiian and Thai food
We went here for dinner and we were delighted by how good it was. The mix of Thai and Hawaiian dishes make for a big selection of tastes. The service was great and our server was helpful with the spice levels available. The restaurant is clean and there’s plenty of parking. The portions are big and we were all full and happy after the meal.
We will definitely be going back here to try more of their offerings.
Had been wanting to try this new location of Sip Saam. It has limited selections but still plenty to choose from. Generous portions.
On the Thai food side, it's as good as the other Sip Saam locations.
Service is awesome, just the perfect amount of attention.
Like most of the Asian restaurants, they are also entitled to a 18% auto service charge, but they do point it out when bringing you the check.
This is my 2nd time visiting this place along with my husband. First time we had Chicken PadThai , Chicken Satay and Fried Rice(don’t exactly remember which one). We absolutely liked the dishes. In our 2nd visit we had Drunken noodles chicken and Chicken katsu with Mac n cheese. This time the dishes didn’t meet our expectations. The dishes were good but not great. We would definitely visit again when we are in this area and try different dishes.
The ambience is very pleasant and nice both inside and outside the restaurant. They have fresh flowers in bud vases on the table all the time.

Another good meal at Cilantro Grill! Kept it simple this time, the yellow curry with shrimp and a new dish on the menu Boat Noodle Soup with vermicelli noodles. Both were very tasty. The curry had a decent amount of shrimp, and the boat noodle soup was filled with beef. The broth in the boat noodle soup was a bit sweet for our taste, we tend to steer clear of sweetness with beef and pork. A glass of riesling balanced the meal. The restaurant was more crowded this time around, which was good to see. Recommend Cilantro Grill for good Thai (and Hawaiian) cuisine.
Update February 19, 2024
Recently stopped by Cilantro Grill on a Sunday evening... not too crowded when we arrive shortly after 6PM, but by the time we left at 745PM, the place was pretty full! Why? The food is great! We had another awesome meal this time around...
Started with a green jasmine tea and a nice glass of Riesling! Our first food was the egg rolls, first time having them at CG. As with all their food, the rolls came out piping hot, we had to let them sit for a minute to be able to eat them! LOL Bravo! Served with a sweet, spicy sauce on the side. We asked for something with a little more heat, and a small dish of red chili sauce was delivered. It was the perfect pairing with the egg rolls.
For entrees we tried different dishes than our last visit. Pad Thai chicken and shrimp for my wife, red curry with shrimp on my side of the table. Both dishes were da bomb! Of course, both served piping hot! The pad thai was a total flavor bomb! Fresh ingredients, expertly prepared, and the spices, seasoning were on point. The red curry was equally fantastic! Oh so tasty, and the veggies and shrimp were so good. You know, the veggies cooked until done but still crispy and crunchy, and the shrimp a light pink, peak of flavor!
It's not a fancy place... tables and chairs in a room. The fresh flowers on every table were a nice touch, the roses even smelled like roses. Service was great again, attentive but not intrusive. We'll definitely be back to try more on the menu... stay tuned. Highly recommend Cilantro Grill!
We have been driving by this place for a couple of years, and never thought to stop in or even check it out ... Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, I finally looked through reviews today, and we knew we had to try it! Everything about the meal was on point!
The service was great, attentive but not intrusive... thanks to the staff for that. Moreover, on the service side, the wait staff skillfully guided us through "heat" or "spicy" levels on a couple of orders and thank goodness they did... they saved us from ourselves!
We started with the fried calamari... we're pretty picky about this appetizer, and I must admit it's frequently one of the appetizers we order at any restaurant and use it as a barometer of how well the kitchen is preparing, cooking, and presenting their food. The fried calamari at CG was outstanding! Nice, thin batter, fried crispy, and presented piping hot! The calamari had the perfect "mouth chew," firm enough to let you know it was fresh and totally without any fishy taste. The spicy creamy sauce on the side was also fantastic, the perfect complement to the fried seafood.
We ordered the green papaya salad next... this was our first in-depth conversation with the wait staff about heat levels in the food. The salad was HUGE, easily entree size, and the spices of garlic, lime, tamarind and hot chilis was expertly balanced. Throw in a handful of halved small red and green tomatoes, and peanuts ... OMG! Heaven on a plate!
For our entrees, we selected the garlic butter shrimp and the green curry with chicken. The shrimp was wonderfully prepared, de-veined but still shell on, deep fried and then "wok'd" with the garlic and other spices... it was a total flavor bomb!
We have done a takeout at this place before but decided to do a dine in this time . Went in on a Thursday night and the place had plenty of chairs . We ordered the chicken satay and drunken noodles with tofu . The chicken was a bit overcooked although the sauces made it taste better . The drunken noodles were dry and a bit flavorless compared to what we have had in sipsaam Thai . The takeout fried rices have been great but the noodles were not that flavorful which was a bit disappointing . But the ambiance and service made up for it and they were great and attentive . The pinto noir was amazing and smooth. Food arrived on time . In spite of the mediocre food, the four stars is for the star of the night - the mango sticky rice ! One of the best we have had. We would probably stick to ordering the fried rice and other dishes compared to noodles, or could be an off night for them . Nevertheless will try this place again for other wonderful dishes and the great service!
This place is seriously so wonderful. Johnny is super kind and offered great service. And the food is AMAZING! My boyfriend is born and raised on the big island of Hawaii and finding Hawaiian food in Texas with some flavor is hard to do. The Tom Kha soup was the best I’ve ever had. Cilantro Grill PLEASE open a location in Bastrop. We need you there!
Absolutely fantastic. If you have not eaten here yet, you need to. My only complaint is against myself for not trying this sooner.
I love this place, came here with my parents we had a great time, very clean restaurant and everything tastes fresh, drinks as well very fresh. Highly recommend this place!
The food here is quite good. Yellow curry with chicken is tasty and not so spicy as to be unpleasant. The service was pretty good. We will definitely eat here again.
My wife's new favorite.

Our favorite Thai food and Hawaiian restaurant. There is no other. Staff is always wonderful and they were able to handle a party of 23 with ease. The barbecue mix plate is my favorite, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Cedar Park’s hidden gem.
Absolutely delicious!! I came here for lunch and dinner and the food was phenomenal. Coming from another city with fantastic Thai food, I have had a hard time finding decent Thai. This one exceeded my expectations and I’ll definitely come back! Highly recommend it.
I come here often, the food is pretty good the service is always super quick and thoughtful the environment is welcoming. I almost always get the yellow curry with chicken and I really enjoy it.
Staff is wonderful too.
It was ok. I guess you really need to take your time to check the menu to order something new and different. I left with a feeling of not tasting real Hawaiian food. It is a very lay back place. Decent price. Good food but need to have a menu with better pictures :) of their dishes.
Nice place good food
The food was good but there were two things that result in a deducted star. First, instead of having a soda machine that usually costs $3-3.50 and has multiple refills they service sodas by can and charge $3 so not only are you majorly overpaying for the soda but you don't get free refills. Second, despite what some of the reviews stay, that you get a decent amount of food for the price, I must disagree. My order came out to be $18 and I wasn't full after. Other Asian restaurants I've eaten at, such as king noodle and sushi off Whitestone Blvd is the same price but gives enough food to satisfy and depending on how hungry you are you can even have food left over when your satisfied. Overall, the food was good, it just could have been more bang for the price and please, get a soda machine in the restaurant to provide better value for the customer.
Good food, great service !
Good variety of Thai and Hawaiian entrees. The lunch specials are priced reasonably for the amount of food. Everything we have ordered has been flavorful and filling. Service is good and the restaurant is tidy. Will keep coming back for the lunch specials or dinner meals.
The first time coming was the best experience ever. I'm not joking. The food was really good, exquisite, and great. It wasn't expensive. 10 to 15 dollars a person. And the service was great. The server was fast and knew what to do. The food came out fast and great. Highly recommend the tatsu bowl and garlic shrimp
This place is AMAZING! 🤩😍 Nice service, good food, so good! Definitely coming back!
Order Tom Kha soup
Coconut chicken soup very watery , bland flavor, small portion big price .
Egg rolls were a miss
No flavor very little of nothing
Inside.
Very disappointed.
Nice atmosphere and perfect service. We definitely will come again.
Worst experience . This is the first time we got take away from this place seeing the good reviews. Got basil fried rice and drunken noodles. Both dishes had no salt at all and lacked taste. Totally not worth the 40$ we paid. Will never try it again.
Second time I've gotten food from here. Both times I've been disappointed. Yesterday I got the BBQ short ribs. Meat was very chewy, tough, and over seasoned. I may try them once more, I don't know. The place usually looks empty. I can't imagine this place surviving too much longer.
So incredibly good!! Baby wait to come again. Large portions that were fresh and so tasty. I highly recommend this place!
Pad Thia was really good. We subbed the chicken/shrimp with Tofu. Ask for the chile cart for the table if ur N2 heat.
The happy hour had phenomenal deals. $8 Calamari.
Pad Thai, mixed meat BBQ plate. The grilled meat was good. My pad thai was dry and the chicken & shrimp were both overcooked. I wouldn't order it again.
We ordered Thai dishes, and the food was amazing! Very flavorful curry. My favorite curry in this area! Prices are very reasonable. The decor inside the restaurant is lovely. We will be back!
Show me the food is more Hawaiian than Thai. There are many more Thai places in the round rock area that have more authentic Thai food.

I’m so glad this restaurant has hoping cedar park! The dumplings are 10/10 and I love the variety on the menu. I wish I would have tried this restaurant sooner. I’m moving to Kyle Texas but this restaurant is one reason why I’ll be coming back to visit Cedar Park. Definitely make time to try this restaurant!
My wife was not happy with the quality of food here. I thought it was ok, but we both prefer Sip Saam Thai.
Hidden gem! Amazing food, service and peaceful ambience! ❤️
When I had COVID, I ordered Tom Kha soup to go. The Tom Kha here is very good. Some of the best I've had around.
Initially, this place was great. I very much enjoyed what I ordered, chicken katsu. But as the day progressed me and the two people I went with began to not feel so well. By the end of the day all 3 of us were some kind of sick. Just stay vigilant with these places around here these days.
We came in not knowing what we were getting ourselves into. This is now the place we MUST come AT LEAST once a week! The food is so fresh and so perfectly made! I am seriously amazed by not only the food but also their vibe and hospitality! I LOVE IT! I hope and pray for so much success to this place!!
This place is absolutely amazing. Great food and friendly service!
I went there with my sister in law it was very good. Loved the lemonade. Very reasonable price and filling. I would come back
The food was really good, but what separates this establishment from the rest is its excellent service. Whoever trains these employees is a hospitality genius and should be praised, the server Joy was great and extraordinarily respectful. It was my birthday and she gave me a cake and a celebration. Other people should definitely visit this location.
Quality and service top notch!
The food was not as good as their other locations such as lemongrass, but the service was very attentive.
This place is amazing! I will be honest from the outside looking in it does look sketch. But when you come in it’s beautiful and has wood decor and it’s great! If they fixed the outside even just a bit it would be great but the food was so delicious and flavorful!!! We definitely will be back and recommending to our friends. Keep it up!:)
Been driving by for months and finally got family together to go.
Very welcoming staff and nice presentation of restaurant and food.
The Arnold Palmers use Thai tea I think, which makes sense. The flavor of Thai tea works better than regular sweet tea, I’d say. It’s less cloyingly sweet and a more harmonious balance of flavor.
We got the chicken katsu, BBQ chicken, and green curry. Took mango sticky rice home. Large portions- I was the only one who ate everything, because my energy needs from exercising is higher. Perfectly satisfying for me.
The chicken katsu was crispy and light, BBQ chicken tender and sauce very delicious, green curry is rich and nourishing. Both chicken dishes came with rice and macaroni salad on the side. Tastes like crab in the macaroni, as it reminded me of crab salad filled onigiri but in macaroni form. Flavors and textures of the whole dishes with their sides go very well together. I’m the type that likes a bit to have a bit of everything in it, though still distinct, to see how it all fits.
Mango sticky rice was fantastic even after a day in the fridge and being reheated. Hard to go wrong with fruit, coconut milk (and/or condensed milk), and rice
Surprised it wasn’t busier- actually the quietness was the only detracting thing about it. Usually I would like a calmer restaurant. Can seem like it’s not good enough, but don’t let it stop you. It’s popular for takeout, so I think that’s the real reason it’s not as busy for dining in.
(Green curry wasn’t an option in the food google has listed to be reviewed, so I selected the red curry, as our waitress mentioned they are similar, though red is apparently slightly sweeter)
July 2024: Our 2nd or 3rd visit. Most likely not going back on a weekday for sure. Very few people at the restaurant on a Tuesday. Hit and miss on the food. Some of it was hit (Pad See Ew, Garlic Shrimp) and others a miss (Basil Fried Rice and the “special” Massaman Curry). Massaman Curry was a disappointment. Bottom line, stay away from the special of the day!
Sep 2023: Good food. Wonderful Service. Convenient location. Good parking. Nice atmosphere.
1) Good good. Decent number of options. Level of 🌶️ spicyness was perfect. Wish curries were a bit thicker
2) Service - Our waiter Siriwat was awesome 👏🏼 Very attentive and prompt.
3) Plenty of free parking upfront
4) Great location. Not too far from downtown Cedar Park or Round Rock or Leander
5) Atmosphere - Bright space with TVs
2 things they could do better
1) Be more generous with their rice portions or charge less
2) Their water glasses stink! Smell the glass as you take a sip of water and you will see what I mean. It was so bad that we had to ask for the plastic glasses to drink water from.
Was disappointed this time. I got the Tom Gum soup, and it was very salty and disappointing. My grandson got the Hawaiian pork dish and it was very soupy on the plate. Also, the cake that was so amazing is no longer offered. What happened?
My only disappointment is that I didn't try it sooner!! AMAZING! The Green Papaya salad is the B E S T I've ever had. The curry is delicious. Crab Rangoons, Tom Koa & Tom Yum soups... soooo good! The Hawaiian bowls were a bit salty and not sweet enough for me, but my husband liked them. Now that we've found this place, we eat it often. Everyone there has always been so friendly and welcoming. Love this place!
Excellent service and the food is great. Mac salad is highly addictive.
The people are super friendly and portions are large, but I ordered the beef short ribs and those were good and then another time I had I think it's katsu? the one with the breaded chicken... It tasted like it had freezer burn. It just seems to be a bit hit or miss on whether or not the food is good and honestly I'm trying to psych myself up because it's hard to know if you're going to be able to eat what you ordered or not. Like I said though the portions are very generous, and if you get the right thing I'm sure it's wonderful. But I would not get the breaded chicken dish that was not great. I really want to like this place because it's so close to me and they are so friendly but I spent over $38 on dinner that we basically couldn't eat unfortunately. I'm going to give them another try because maybe it was an off night maybe it's because they're new still, or maybe I just haven't found the right dish. Like I said the beef ribs were good. I like the unique concept of the food and we definitely needed something else besides the same old same old that keeps popping up over here. I don't know maybe next time instead of doing takeout I need to eat at the restaurant so that I can ask more questions before ordering. I don't want to be unfair because I got take out both times and I didn't really have the ability to ask a lot of questions before ordering. It just was a little disappointing because I definitely was not able to cook last night but we weren't able to eat our meals, so ended up having cereal for dinner 😢
Without exaggeration, this is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. I was in a hurry but had to order to go, can't wait to go back again and dine in.
Had shrimp pad Thai. No veggies - carrots, sprouts and a whiff of sauce. Shrimp was fresh and tasty. Couldn't give me more sauce because it is made while preparing noodles. Said ask for more before prep. Tea was great.
Awesome food.
I had coupons due to ordering from here whenever I crave Thai food. Today I tried ordering online and it wouldn't go through. Then I drove up to the drive thru window and the staff person came to the window and said there was no drive thru service. Ok, so I went inside and ordered and they wouldn't honor any of the coupons I had. Why send customers coupons if you dont accept them? Food is decent, customer service not so much...
We had a great experience at Cilantro Grill, they had good options for Vegan food. Good service and ambience. The food was good too but the quantity was less for what you pay.
i took it out :) i was very satisfied with this experience.
Yummy Thai food, with a Hawaiian twist.
We’ve only ever gotten takeout from this place but one day we will have to make it in! The food is delicious, whether you choose from the Thai or the Hawaiian menu, and it’s always ready quickly. Every time we pick up, the folks inside are very kind. Plus, our cats also seem to be big fans!
So much gristle with the BBQ. Even the chicken, which should be easy to cut away. It just ruined it for me. Definitely avoid if you eat low carb. They won't make any substitutions, even for things the same price. Very disappointed, won't go back.
The papaya Salad here is delicious!!! Crab fried rice with shrimp is also good. Great portions. Wonderful service.

Got the kalua pork and wooooow it was so good! Like the traditional plates but a sandwich would be fantastic
Our server was very kind and helpful with it being our first time there, we got Loco Moco which was very filling and the Thai Tea was delicious! And the food came out of the kitchen alot faster then we thought it would have! Definitely plan to come back again!! If I could give more then 5 stars I would! 🌟 👏🏻
GREAT service and AMAZING food!!
Would recommend!!
Honestly, I never thought to stop here because of the outside looked ok but nothing fancy to me. The inside though has a very cool aesthetic and feel to the dining area. The food was very well prepared, and the pricing was really good. It felt and tasted like it should have been a much more expensive experience. I will come back. The food not only was good but fun combinations were offered. Staff was super diligent in taking care of customers and made the whole experience very good. The service was quick, but the feel of the restaurant would be suitable for a fancy date night also.
I absolutely love this place I think the prices are absolutely perfect.
I hope everybody comes as an excellent food extra in every way.
The pork balls are excellent This restaurant is a Michelin five star. 🌟
Nice, quite place with a great atmosphere.. service was top notch.
Green Curry with tofu was absolutely amazing. Thom Yum was awesome, though I'd like an option without any meat. However, I had one huge problem: if that was Thai hot, I'm the freaking President. If I gotta use some secret code word to get the good stuff, hit me with it. I can't find anything truly spicy in this town and it's getting me down.
Overall a great place just be careful with spice level. A rating of 2 is great for most people. A rating of 4 was too spicy to eat
Everything is good!
The food was top-notch. The service was friendly and helpful. We dined to a sufficiency and took part of it home for later. This is a wonderful restaurant!
Excellent food for an excellent price. Will surely be back
Do yourself a favor and try the Duck Curry. It’s divine.
Super clean place and the waitress was super friendly. I always get the pad thai at every Thai restaurant and you would think they would know how to cook such a popular dish, but it’s always unbearably dry. I got the pad thai here and it was the best restaurant pad thai ive ever had. It was not dry at all and had great flavor. Will be returning again!
Service excellent
Food just ok imo
Atmosphere decent.
Limited menu items…would get 5stars if the menu items are expanded
Tried them for the first time. The BBQ chicken and yellow curry were so delicious! The prices for food and the cheapest for this type of food and yet the best quality and portions. We will certainly patronize this place often in the future. Such a pleasant experience!
I drove by so many times before I realized it was a Hawaiian/Thai place. The food is SO GOOD!! Presentation is beautiful and service is excellent. Fresh ingredients and authentic taste (yes, I would know - kanakas brah!). Will be coming back often and soon!
Really good food and service. Although a bit expensive.
It was delicious
I had the huge garlic shrimp
Extremely overpriced and not at all authentic. I’m visiting from San Jose CA where food cost triple the price around this area and this place charges as much as Hawaiian restaurants in the SF Bay Area, but it lacks the authenticity and good quality. Ordered to go so can’t say much about the atmosphere and service. They did bring the food out to the car and employee who took the order was very nice, but the food is pretty terrible. I ordered the mixed bbq, and it was pretty much bad cut beef (very tough and hard to chew, bad cut chicken (seams like they gave me all the bad parts) and the short rib was also very tough and not appetising at all. The egg rolls don’t even look or taste like egg rolls and are very thin and no meet inside. Not coming back. Save your money. Go somewhere else.
Every time we order the food is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and always accommodating. I would highly recommend to anyone!
From the crab fried rice, to the yellow curry and spam musubi, everything is delicious.. but their coconut cake is SINFULLY DELICIOUS!!!
I'm craving it right now as I type this 😭
Excellent Thai food
Great food but felt a little bit pricey
We've been here a couple of times. The food is always really good, and the service is fantastic.
Loved their Tom Kha soup!! Great service too!
My company momma bear roofer is right around the corner and after todays meal I can assure you we will be regulars. Order from Both sides of the menu! The Tom kha is incredible
Definitely going back to Cilantro Grill. Enjoyed dinner with my son and some friends tonight. They were so accommodating in helping surprise my friends for his birthday. The food was great and the staff were super friendly.
Can't wait to try more of their menu items.
We had a party of 8 for dinner tonight and all of us enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and the people at Cilantro Grill! Since we planned to celebrate the birthday of one of the friends in our party of 8, I called and spoke with the manager earlier in the day and he was more than accommodating to our request for a table for 8 and to keep our birthday cake in the kitchen until we were "contemplating" dessert. I was responsible for arriving early and delivering the cake, but a large wreck on 183 caused some panic that I wouldn't arrive on time (before the birthday boy). We called the restaurant and one of the lovely staff members met us outside to take the cake before the rest of the group arrived! Upon entering the restaurant, we were welcomed by the manager, who led us to a table ready for our party of 8. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious! We ordered an entree of either the BBQ Beef, Kaula Pork, or Pad Thai Shrimp with Chicken and all were outstanding - fresh, hot, and generous. We were able to choose the level of heat/spiciness for our entree or choose to have it on the side, which was nice. Three of us ordered the Thai Iced Tea, which was very good. Water was available for all of us as well.
It was very nice to have a choice between Hawaiian or Thai cuisine. The entrees were a good size and a few of us took our leftovers home. After dinner, the gracious staff wheeled out the birthday cake with candles and led us in a hilarious yet heartwarming rendition of "Happy Birthday to You!" Our friend was completely surprised and touched by the effort and so were we. The staff at Cilantro Grill went above and beyond to make our dinner and birthday evening special! They definitely made an impression on all of us and we cannot wait to return! Thank you so much, Cilantro Grill!
This place is a little hidden gem. Had dinner with my daughter who is a curry fanatic and she loved it. Service was on point as well.
Friendly service with good food and service.
My spouse and I walked into the establishment, trying the restaurant for the first time, but no one was at the front counter to sit us down. We we waited for a second and were finally sat down but we’re never served. There was a group of 3 who came in and waited in line behind us, but unlike us, we they were not ignored and were served before us so we decided to leave. We politely told the server our issue and complimented the smell of the food on the way out. So.. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant based on service alone (If you happen to be of color).
Side note: the food really did look good and my spouse and I were actually looking forward to matching that smell with our taste buds.
It
Very good food will eat here again!
For the price the food was really good. Highly recommend it if you are near by.
Just walked out and I’m on a food high. This was delicious and so fresh. I had the bbq chicken plate and my husband had the salmon bowl. Both had large portions and full of flavor. Service was great. Placed was packed and we were on a limited time to have lunch so we worried a bit but service was on point. Definitely coming back. Thanks!
Food was excellent. Servers were very attentive and fast.
Yum, Cilantro Grill is a close stop by our house up in CP, and our date night here for dinner certainly was a tasty option for Thai and Hawaiian entree choices.
The portions for the entrees we chose, a Hawaiian grill mixed plate and the Yellow curry were giant and we had leftovers for our next day to indulge on. They also carry our favorite Lychee sake bottle which we were able to order and finish.
Service was very attentive and friendly, and we were able to have a wonderful dining experience and for a very reasonable price for the quality of food. We can't wait to be back as we love Sip Sam Thai and appreciate close by options in our neighborhood!
Food is good quality and quantity wise
My husband and I wanted to try something new. We're extremely happy we ran across here. We got the edamame, egg rolls, and the spam musubi. I got the drunkin noodles and he got the bqq mix. Everything was amazing. The spice level was perfect. This is definitely a hidden gem.
So this place is owned by the same group that owns Lemongrass and it's apparent because they share some of the same problems:
The drunken noodle dish at both establishments has an off-putting "barn" taste. I have no idea what ingredient is causing it, but it absolutely tastes like a barn smells.
They serve on plastic dishes. Maybe this doesn't matter to a lot of people, but it matters to me. Plastic degrades with heat and dishes that are always running through hot water to be cleaned and then have hot food served on them is how we get microplastics leeched into our food and water.

Green curry was excellent.
We had an amazing time, definitely will be back. Thank you!
Just had lunch here and I was so happy with the food! The flavors and spice were definitely on point! Definitely coming back here to try more things. 🙂
Delicious food! Great service. Eat local!!!
👌
I was intrigued by the hawaiian and Thai mix and saw that they had great reviews so we stopped in for lunch. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean and organized. We sat down and looked through the menu which offers a wide variety of options. We had spam musubi for starter, my wife had the yellow curry with pork and I had drunken noodles with chicken. All of it was delicious. Lots of layered flavor and really fresh ingredients. We washed it all down with tropical fruit juice. Definitely recommend stopping by and we will definitely be back!
The red curry was very good. It was a large portion which was great. I asked for a level 7 on the spice and they did a great job on that. I was pleased with the red curry.
The server was attentive and polite. At times, I felt she was overly attentive to the few guests dining in when I was there. She was the only server, and it was not that busy.
There were only 4 tables taken total, but she would take a drink order and literally run to deliver it. If someone asked for something, she would literally run across the place to get it and run back to deliver it. Overall, the service was fine, I would rather be served by an overly attentive server than an under attentive one.
Atmosphere was not my style. The location/building is a bit strange, but everything was fine other than that.
The lights in the dining area are far too bright; however, everything else was amazing.
Everyone loved the food. The service was prompt & friendly. I can't wait to go back & try more items. The calamari was particularly delicious!
I have a request. Please add my favorite Hawaiian dishes: mochiko chicken & huli huli chicken.
Update: Nothing much has changed. The lights are still fast food bright instead of a little more chill in line with a nicer dining establishment. And my 2 favorite Hawaiian dishes still aren't on the menu. Though I noticed a burger option had been scratched off the menu.
I had the spam musubi & calamari. My husband had the loco moco. The food was good. The draft beer was cold. We were happy with our choice. I think this is our go-to place when we're in CP.
The Tom Kha is the best soup of my life
poor quality chicken for the price
Exceptional great food clean service was awesome
Great menu with Hawaiian and Thai options. The chicken yellow curry had tons of meat and was delicious. The Kalua Pork was fantastic. Portions are generous and prices very reasonable. The owners are so accommodating and the service was great. Highly recommend checking out Cilantro Grill!!
All good. I'm glad they opened.
Saw the place get renovated and finally got around to trying. Nice atmosphere and service but the food was very disappointing. Chicken Katsu was undercooked and had no crunch. Pad Thai was over cooked and soggy. Green curry was ok but a bit heavy.
The food here is excellent! We came during peak hours for dinner and there was plenty of room. Even though there were only two servers working, we never felt abandoned. We got the grilled meat trio, garlic butter shrimp, potstickers, and sticky mango rice! This is by far the largest and most delicious portion of sticky mango rice that we've ever had! While the interior of the restaurant is nothing to write home about, I go there for the food which is amazing.
The staff is 1st rate
Amazing customer service. Amazing Thai food, best ever so far.
Great Hawaiian food and super friendly staff! I can't wait to go back to try some of the Thai options!
