Modern Eatery Wine & Cocktails
One of my favorite places in town! The ceviche is my favorite dish of theirs, but everything I have tried so far has been amazing. The cocktails are also very tasty and flavorful. When I have visitors from out of town, this is definitely one of the off the strip places I take them to.
Food
We order soup - Tom Yum Goong, Mun Pu Fried Rice and Pad Sen Lobster noodle. Food was great. I don’t know if the food portion and the price makes sense.
Tom Yum Goong: 4/5 $16
Soup was decent. Flavor was good. But The portion was small (a bit larger than a miso cup) quite small for $16 soup.
Mun Pu Fried Rice: 4/5 $22
Solid stirfry rice, however, the flavor was lacking a little bit, could have more seasoning. Supposed to have jumbo crab lumps but I don’t think think I noticed any jumbo crab lumps.
Pad Sen Lobster: 4.5/5 $26
So yummy! I would get it again! The noodle was very flavorful. I would totally recommend this dish again!
Service: 3/5
The restaurant was busy on a Saturday night. We didn’t really have a server asking us for our drink order. We waiting 15 mins before the owner (looks like) came to greet us and took our food order and drink order at once. No one check on us or our food during the meal. We had to flag down the owner to get our bill. She did pack our leftovers for us. However wish the service was better.
Ambience 4/5
The place was beautifully decorated. However it was really loud. Hard to hear when talking where we were sitting. I wouldn’t come here if you want to have an intimate conversation or an uninterrupted conversation.
We enjoyed our experience at LaMai. From the food to the staff to the ambiance...wonderful. We were especially impressed with the service. The staff was so professional and efficient, yet kind and attentive. The food was SO GOOD! I requested something that wasn't on the menu but they gladly prepared it. We had the tofu, pad thai, fried crispy broccolini, crab rice, crab curry, oolong tea & house margaritas. Everything was outstanding! Honestly, in my opinion, it was the best Thai food I've had so far. We will be visiting LaMai often.
Lamaii has fantastic food with an upbeat and decorative vibe.
We started with thr garlic green beans, which were like a drug. So tasty, we could have had one each for all of us. We had the Pad See Ew, Duck Basil Fried Rice, and Kao Soi. The Pad See Ew was good, the others were excellent. I loved the Crispy duck fried Rice.
Service was spotty, not sure if they had a full staff.
We would definitely come back!
I was so delighted by the food here on my first visit that I made a second trip back just a few days later.
The service was prompt and friendly on both occasions. The restaurant is cozy and beautifully adorned with lanterns, lights and hanging decor.
At my first visit I ordered the Gang Pu (Crab Curry) which is a spicy curry with crab meat served with vermicelli noodles. This dish was so rich and flavorful and had just the right amount of spice if you’re like me and don’t enjoy really hot things. I also ordered the Deep Fried Pork Belly which came with this green dipping sauce. I was underwhelmed by the pork belly, it had no real flavor. And the sauce served with it to me was similar to a green sauce you would find at a Mexican eatery.
A couple of days later when I returned I tried the Crab Fried Rice, Garlic Fried Crispy Prawns, and the Crispy Duck Curry. All of the entrees were very good and had incredible flavor. The crab fried rice was supposed to have lump crab in it according to the menu but I found that not to be the case. While I could taste the crab it was in small quantities.
The presentation of the food made my dining experience so much more enjoyable. Seeing these elegantly plated dishes made me overly excited to try everything. This will be a restaurant that I keep in my rotation.
Good place . Very friendly staff .Lovely Ambience . And yes , vegetarian options available on request (no fish oil , no eggs ) .
We ordered for Thai curry ( only with vegetables) with rice and mocktail ( berries based ) and a cucumber cocktail.
For those in love with Thai food , a must visit place .
The steak drunken noodles were good, medium wasn't that spicy and highly recommend to try. Beef was super tender; portions are on the smaller size and good for individuals, not so much for sharing. Don't recommend the lobster salad as the lobster itself lacked flavor. Tartare was ok, not the best, but not the worst either.
Service was great and owner is friendly, very attentive. Love the decor.
Lamaii is definitely my favorite Thai place in all of Las Vegas. We've tried almost everything on the menu and we really always just resort to our favorites all the time. It's not too far from the strip and I'd say it is worth the trip.
I highly suggest getting the oysters, crab fried rice and crispy prawn (you can also order crispy prawn with other dishes). When you order the crab fried rice (if you like spicy), make sure you ask for the prik nam pla (spicy fish sauce). This gives it that extra kick that makes me really enjoy this place. You can also add that to their oysters for more flavor, but I suggest trying the oyster by itself first. The oyster is one of a kind and is a different experience from the typical American or Japanese flavors. Also get a Singha or some other type of cold Thai beer while you're here as it compliments the spice so well.
Other notable items would be Crispy Duck Drunken Noodles, Crispy Prawn Panang and Steak Tartare. Honestly I'd say order what I recommended and then something you may be interested in and you should be fine. The whole menu is pretty good.
The environment is also really nice with the ambient lighting with all the decor in the place. It's up there with fine dining in regards to Thai. There's also a huge selection of wine as well as some craft beers and sake. Literally the first part of the menu is food and the rest is all wine and cocktails.
I usually don't do reservations, but I'd say give this place a call ahead of time prior just to ensure you don't have to wait so long. The service can be slow at times when there's a lot of people since there's mainly 2 people serving the restaurant, but I say the food is worth the wait.
Good food, and good presentation, good ambiance and good service.
I could write a literal book on service and the food here. Having spent a ton of time in thailand... this is as close as it gets stateside! And the service... absolutely perfect!!!

Overpriced for tiny and so so food. 75can$ for a small fried fish is a steal !
Food is really nice, but one of the server has really bad attitude. So we were after a table of 10 for seating and we are ready to order food because we only had 3 people and also been here multiple time. I was told I can only order after the table of 10?! I called her three times to order food, and she told me is a restaurant rule?! And was giving me attitude after I told her that is the first time I ever heard this with any restaurant, as a matter of fact I been to Lamaii three times prior to this and never had an issue.
Server name I think is peai

First off the place is very nice looking with great atmosphere. Next, the food was absolutely amazing. No complaints there. The servers were friendly but when we walked in with reservations no one was at the front and it took awhile for anyone to come from the back to greet the line of customers behind us as well. Also throughout our time there we had to wait forever for servers to come to us and get our orders. We ordered water twice before we got it and seem like we had 2 separate servers at the beginning. Next, there were plenty of open spots still and again..had reservations and we get 2 options to sit. Next to the door or next to the door. The whole meal as people constantly come and go freezing cold air just slamming you for an hour and a half is just very bad taste/design in my opinion. I know it’s warm most of the year but you should have something in place to keep paying customers comfortable.
Food is good, atmosphere is great. Service is good, Just a little bit pricey. Also I hope they will have brown rice options
Absolutely amazing food! Some of the best we’ve ever had. Excellent service and beautiful atmosphere.
Couldn’t recommend more!
One of the better tasting Thai restaurants in Vegas. It is not cheap, but it is worth the price.
Amazing food and service
Quiet place with nice atmosphere
Some of the best Thai I have ever had.
So so good. Took a party of 12 here and everyone raved about the food and experience. Get off the strip and get Thai!
big OMG. Everything In this place in perfect. The first person MR.KIM he is so professional and nice and also the lady (owner) .everybody so polite and have a good attitude which is so important to me. And then oh my gosh the taste for food is like something from heaven
. I went to a lot of restaurants, different kind of restaurants but this one is something else.everything fresh clean.taste and smell for food is amazing. Amazing experience ♥️thank you so much.
Amazing.
Excellent excellent service as well as an amazing meal. I believe the manager took care of my wife, my mother in law and myself and she was very attentive and helpful I will definitely be coming back
Really fantastic food that reminds me of the food I had as a kid at my Thai best friend’s house and the food I had in Thailand. The dishes I ate were a mix of Thai and Thai-Chinese and were both awesome!!! When I’m in town next, I will come back for sure! Thank you to the staff and the kitchen!!!
Great hidden spot! The food is as wonderful as the staff
As a Thai-adjacent person I'm not the easiest to impress... my mother in law and partner flex their skills on me all the time.... but Lamaii was a very worthy point of comparison! The interior is very charming, our server was lovely, and the food was killer!
Lovely place with solid wine selection. Service was very friendly and helpful, prices very reasonable, atmosphere cozy and food delicious. I definitely will be back and recommend to anyone who didn't visit yet!
Lamaii is amazing. Casual with good service, but you go to Lamaii for the great food and smart wine selection. A sweetheart amongst the Vegas F & B industry.
We went on a Sunday for lunch and the restaurant was close to empty. We had high expectations based on a food tour we were on and our Uber driver. We were not disappointed! We had the pad thai and drunken noodles. Both were very good. My two criticisms is that the steak in the drunken noodles was very fatty. Also, we left not that full. The portions weren't that big. Overall, we will come back when we are in Vegas!
Met a friend for lunch here because she figured there wouldn’t be a wait and sure enough it was pretty empty on a weekday
We ordered a few things. Ceviche was probably my favorite. Steak pad Thai was good. Thai basil friend rice was avg. green beans were a bit salty.
Great food and excellent service!!
This place is so good! 6 stars for me!! Everything was delicious and service was amazing. Will be back next time in Vegas.
Party of 1 adult n 4 kids. 6 dishes..nothing special except crispy shrimp and drunken steak flavorful. Pad thai n pad se ew plain. Maybe this is how it taste without msg like other places. Crab rice was cold n plain also.
Saturday nite was full so service is a little slow. 20% tip automatic but wasn't happy tip calculated after tax.
Better to try somewhere else
Lamaii is definitely my favorite Thai place in all of Las Vegas. We've tried almost everything on the menu and we really always just resort to our favorites all the time. It's not too far from the strip and I'd say it is worth the trip.

Every dish we had was absolutely delicious. Fresh, tasty, and great portions. Pork spring rolls- bomb! Oysters- bomb! Drunken noodle- bomb! Ceviche- bomb! And Egg yolk ice cream- hella bomb! I will definitely be back!
I was so delighted by the food here on my first visit that I made a second trip back just a few days later.

Very quite wonderful place. You will love the food here. I was mad when the food was gone because I wanted more. Please stop here enjoy the decor and the wonderful staff.

The food is amazing here, especially the duck panang. It's one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to.
So delicious. Great flavors in all the dishes. Two big patries were there when I went, so the service was a little slow, but we were not in a rush. Start with the ceviche...its great!
That lobster noodle is probably one of the best stir fried noodle I had
Great food.
The food was great although they didn't give you enough for the price it's about $30 a person
Amazingly good food.
Amazing Authentic Thai Food.
Everything was delicious, especially the fresh lemonade with fresh fruit. Don't hesitate, give this place a try.
Absolutely terrible. Leaves online ordering on and leaves restaurant closed. So your order is never ready and then they call you four hours later. Do not order food from this place unless you check if it's open first. Now I have to do a charge back because they won't do the right thing and refund the charge because if their mess up. There is no accountability.
We were greeted and seated by a friendly lady (I believe she’s the owner)
The dishes that we ordered were all very delicious however I really enjoyed the panang crispy duck. Not only the curry was on point, but that crispy duck skin was amazingly delicious. We will definitely be returning for more food when visiting Vegas in the near future.
Food was fine. Service was not great. Waitress automatically added bottled water to our tab instead of asking whether we wanted tap. Also, our table had some food allergies (i.e., gluten-free, egg allergy) and was served the wrong version of a dish that had egg in it instead. Was difficult to wave down a server. Though they fixed it quickly, we didn't feel confident about what we were provided, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Would not recommend for anyone with allergies.
You can never go wrong with a Thai Restaurant because the decor is so comforting and beautiful.
The food was great and even though the place was packed with 2 servers they still got us in and provided great service.
Came on Mother’s Day at 1pm! It was busy!
The Drunken Noodles with Duck was BOMB
Amazing Thai dishes, great service and a friendly crew serving it all up. The decor is beautiful and the environment is very comfortable. We are forever fans and will be back soon!
Lamaii delivers on all fronts! The Wing Zaap offers a delightful take on wings, crispy with a tangy lime seasoning. The Pad Sen Lobster and Panang Crispy Duck were impeccably prepared and bursting with flavor. The crispy crust on the duck combined with panang curry was simply sublime. The Blooming Sorrel drink is a must-try for mezcal lovers. If you are staying at the strip, get an Uber/Lyft to get here. It will be worth it. Five stars for fantastic food, drinks, and ambiance!
Una delicia!!!
Restaurante Thai, con comida muy apegada a la cocina tailandesa, además de que tienen una amplia variedad de vinos, la cerveza Sakura (Stout) es excelente, no se arrepentirán.
This was a hit and miss. We love Thailand and spent several months in the Kingdom of Smile in the past, it's fair to say that we are deeply familiar with the local cousine.
Lamaii gets the vibe right, the smells and the interior can be in a trendy bar in Bangkok.
The food takes an american twist on the classics, unfortunately. Deep fried and oil soaked makes otherwise delightfully light courses super heavy.
My panang curry had no vegetables, just the sauce (which was very tasty), and shell on (!!) shrimps deepfried. There are some versions of this shrimp that has very light shell so deepfrying makes it edible... mine was not this variety unfortunately. The endresult was that I had to throw out almost all of the shrimps and I was left with the sauce and rice.
The best Thai restaurant in Vegas. Great cozy atmosphere. Awesome food. I highly recommend the pad sen lobster, lime&chili wings, and crispy pork. I've been here 4 times and haven't had a dish I didn't like.
Extensive wine selection.
They need more servers. When the place fills up, it can be hard to get their attention, but they are pleasant and knowledgeable when you have it.
Being your significant other and enjoy a lovely evening.
This is my third time at Lamaii and I have been to both locations and both have excellent service and impeccable food. The chefs would come around asking guests how their food was and made sure all the guests were happy. The atmosphere at the Spring Mountain location is a lot more intimate and gives off date night vibes while the location in Henderson is more for family dinners and with friends. Their wine selection is massive and the atmosphere is inviting and calm. It is a great place to spend time with friends and eat a yummy dinner.
This place is super cute and small locally owned and delicious!!
Get here and try those GREEN BEANS!! The garlic buttery green beans I would come back for daily if I could.
The crispy duck Panang was delicious and crispiness of the duck was perfect in the sauce and not soggy.
The crispy duck drunken noodles were phenomenal, wish it had more noodles but the sauce and peppers were spectacular.
Thai tea is freshly made and tasty without being overly sweet.
The service was efficient and exceptional, I actually loved the ambiance and the music too.
Excellent food, staff and service also excellent
One of my favorite places to go when I visit family in Las Vegas. The food is spectacular, the atmosphere at dinner time gives this sexy chill vibe. You can’t go wrong with anything you order.
The service is horrible. I will not go back.
The food is amazing, flavors are unique recommended 100_%
Tried out Lamaii today and it was pretty good! I had the pad thai which was solid and the pad see ew was also good! The star was the wing zaap which are spicy fried chicken wings with lime and chili dry rub, they were delicious! The only knock was the portions were a bit small. Staff was friendly and a huge parking lot right off Spring mountain road and Arville. Additional photos on my profile page as well as videos on my YouTube.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant! Great atmosphere! Lights are very dim for dinner so be prepared with your phone light if you can't see well (like us😂). Booths are a good size to comfortably sit 6-8 people. Food and service was absolutely AMAZING! Service was fast and food was hot! We really enjoyed the appetizers (green beans, eggplant, taro wraps and chicken wings). The main dishes were even better!!
Really nice Thai food. Good place to go with friends.
Wasn't the best. If you're looking for amazing Thai food this ain't it. This place is classy and nice inside. The food presentation is great but that's where it stops. The Khao Soi wasn't my favorite and was a bit off. The dishes are all small. We all left hungry even ordering appetizers. The Khao Soi is about half of what I'm used to getting at other places. The nice thing was our 9 year old niece ate all of her food because the dishes were so small. The egg roll was the tiniest little things I've ever seen. They are a little bigger than the size of a Tootsie Roll. Literally didn't even know that was possible. Half the amount you would normally get elsewhere for the same price. I noticed some other tables had way more food on their plates. So I guess they didn't want us to come back. The service was also super slow. Don't come here if your in a hurry. When we first got their one group left because no one seated them or greeted them. They are that slow. That should of been my sign to leave.
Lamaii had some of the best food of any variety in Vegas. Great contrast to some of the big chain places with its unique decor & menu. The green beans are a must as well as the drunken noodles, but everything I've ever had is top tier. Service is always excellent, Pear is the best hands down!! She makes you feel at home & welcome...unmatched!! Will always come back here & would go even more if there was one in Summerlin 😉 (hint)
From the moment I stepped into Lamaii in Las Vegas, I was enthralled by its charming ambiance. The beautiful wine rack display immediately caught my attention, symbolizing the perfect union of elegance and modernity. The decor, with its modern flair and dim lighting, created a warm, inviting atmosphere, ideal for a romantic dinner or a casual late-night gathering.
The staff's friendliness was notable, contributing significantly to our delightful experience. At the bar, the variety of liquors and handcrafted cocktails was impressive, each reflecting the bartender's expertise and creativity.
Lamaii's culinary excellence truly stood out. The authentic Thai dishes, like the Jumbo Prawn Pad Thai with irresistibly crispy fries and the extraordinary Duck Curry, were not only delicious but also visually stunning. Each dish we tried, including their renowned Mun Pu Fried Rice and Panang Crispy Duck, was a testament to Lamaii's commitment to quality and flavor.
Located conveniently in Vegas, just a short distance from The Strip, Lamaii is a gem in the vibrant Chinatown area. Its trendy and intimate setting makes it a fantastic spot for both groups and individuals seeking an authentic Thai experience.
In summary, my experience at Lamaii was a five-star journey through the best of Thai cuisine, all within the enchanting setting of one of Las Vegas's culinary hotspots
Delicious food👍🙏🍲
I was so disappointed trying food here. Saw a lot of people talking about this restaurant on Instagram. We ordered a few dishes and the only food that tasted good was Papaya Salad.
Pad Thai and Spicy Noodle tasted bad (don’t order)
Bad and slow service. Our Pad Thai came after everyone finished their food.
Good atmosphere and hign end restaurant but using many chip plates to serve food.
Went twice in 2 weeks. Once for dinner and once for lunch. Dinner was fantastic. Lunch was good but it seemed like they were short staffed that day. Piles and piles of dirty dishes stacked all over the bar. The food here is some of the best modern Thai/Asian fusion. Love the lobster pad Sen, crispy duck drunken noodle, the green beans, and the crab fried rice.
The only negative thing I could say about this place is they forgot my tea. Other than that the food was amazing. Crab curry and oysters were the top on our list
Some of the best Asian fusion flavors we have had! Highly recommend this restaurant. Great cocktails, too!
The host is also the server. So, be prepared to wait... for EVERYTHING!
It took forever to be greeted and seated. It took forever to get drinks and to place our order. When the food finally came (which also took forever), only half the dishes came out, and we had to wait twice as long for the others to come.
They would do much better with more help.
Also, it seems like this place is more about the drinks than the food. Of their 6-page menu, one page had all the food/apps, and the other 5 pages were of the drinks/wines.
👍🏼
鸭胸还行 龙虾面不是网上说的那么好吃很咸 上菜很慢 they charge tips after tax
Wasn't a great experience. Service and atmosphere is cool. Wasn't impressed with the food at all and I love Thai food. My husband food was cold. People around us seem happy so maybe we just had an off night.
This was a super cute and well decorated restaurant but when it comes to food I wouldn’t go back. It’s pricey for the small portion you get and the flavor for a lot of their dishes were too overpowering and too salty. Their wine/drink selection is bigger than their food selection. If you’re SEA, you’re probably better off trying another Thai restaurant.
Excellent! Finally, I had a chance to visit this place. I was not disappointed. I love everything I ordered. Will be back soon 👍👍
Love this place. Came here for the cool videos I've seen, but tastes of this place will bring me back again!
I went on thanksgiving so the service was slow, however they were accommodating once prompted. The craft drinks were tasty.
The food is delicious . Unique and creative . Will definitely come back .
The food is absolutely Amazing! I saw a review on #strictlydumpling and the Pan Sen Lobster looked so good and his review on the Wings I was curious. Let me just say the Wing Zaap appetizer is so full of delicious flavors in one bite, you have a little salty, a little bit of zest and a hint of spices that leave your lips tingling. No sauce/dip is needed with these wings.
The Pan Sen Lobster was also wonderful. The lobster was perfectly fried and seasoned. The noodles also had such great flavor.
My mom had the Steak Tartare. She said it was fresh, tasty & had a little kick of spice. She really enjoyed it and mentioned it’s too much for one person and is recommended for sharing. (I don’t care for tartare so did not try it)
Tonight they were short staffed but did their best to get everyone seated, getting orders in & out in a timely matter, and getting tables cleared & clean so they are able to seat more guests.
I’ll be returning to Lamaii and add it to my recommendations list to my clients when they are in town for a visit.
This is definitely not authentic Thai. Well prepared food but spices are not blended correctly, Kao Soi will leave a strange aftertaste in your mouth.
The food here is the same as a countryside stop in Thailand, unrefined and needs work. There is not a single Thai or even Asian person eating in this restaurant, that should tell you something.
The waitress told me that they were out of egg noodles for the Kao Soi but they can make it with rice noodles, which was the same. I sternly told her there was a huge difference and it's not the same!
Cook is not trying the onions and slicing them to match the Kao Soi, super spicy and they put a ton in the bowl.
Waitress handed me my copy of the receipt with wet hands, nice soggy touch to the end of my meal.
By the way, this place is very expensive also. Head to Lotus of Siam, that's authentic and worth every penny.
Relative to all the great Thai options in Vegas, this is great as Fancy spot toeet friends for cocktails & wine.
The majority of the food is made for snacking.
I haven't seen pork jowl on menus elsewhere. Here, they serve it with a sweet and rich cliantro based sauce. Very good stuff.
Lamaii is our new favorite Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. The Tom Zaap soup is a flavor explosion with tender pork ribs, the garlic prawn is perfectly crunchy, and the deep-fried sea bass with their special sauce is a must-try. Be sure to order the crab fried rice and add the pickle chili peppers which gives it a nice kick, and the curry is simply delightful with rice. You won’t be disappointed with the culinary experience at Lamaii.
Lamaii is an excellent Asian restaurant that is located only a short way from the Wynn Hotel. It’s an unassuming place sitting at the end of a small strip mall. But, don’t let the exterior deter you. The food is excellent.
There were eight in our party and we came hungry and ready to dine. Our waitress was very pleasant and offered her advice on which dishes she recommended. She didn’t try to oversell us, but did a great job of knowing which selections would come out of the kitchen the fastest in order to get us something to eat and calm the beast in us.
After bringing some appetizers we could slow down to appreciate the delicious entrees. Crispy duck was perfect. We also ordered large garlic crispy prawns. The catfish was tender and perfectly prepared. Drunken noodles with steak was gobbled up. I think we tried nearly everything on the menu.
Las Vegas has many wonderful restaurants in the hotels, but venture out to find treasures like Lamaii. You won’t be disappointed.
Beautiful resturant. The food is phenomenal.. had veggie drunken noodles and the mushroom appetizer. Both were great portions, filling but not too much. The flavor was tasty and the host was friendly.
Best Thai I've had in the near 5 years I've been in the US. If I was a local is be heading here all the time
Lamaii is one of the best Thai restaurants. Whenever we plan a trip to Vegas we always have to stop by Lamaii for a meal. The food is amazing and always hits the spot. A few of my favorite dishes are the panang duck curry, steak tartare, chicken wings, and going ceviche.
Along with great food, the staff is also amazing.
Incredible Thai food, highly recommend
Great food! Definitely coming back!
Absolutely extraordinary Thai food! I was so impressed!
First time visiting and the food was delicious! I ordered the drunken noodles with crispy duck- I loved the noodles to vegetable ratio, and the dish had a slight spicy kick to it. My friend ordered the chicken pad Thai with rice which was also amazing. The plates are shareable portions.
The customer service was awesome. I didn’t get the lady’s name who served us, but she was wonderful with making sure we were good. Also, I asked if she could mix my lemonade with the bael juice (flavored lemonades aren’t an option on the menu) and she was kind enough to grant my request. I appreciated that a lot. My friend ordered a rum cocktail which he gives a 10/10.
Dined here on August 7, 2023. Entered the restaurant to find there was no hostess anywhere in sight, around 15 people waiting. After 10 minutes she arrived and sat us since we had a reservation. She then explained that she was THE ONLY employee working the floor. NO hostess, NO bus boys/girls, no runners, no one but her. She was very nice, but she was so overwhelmed that of course service was terrible. It took more than 20 minutes for her to take our order. Our food came out at different times, one of us was almost finished when the others' entree arrived, we needed extra items, (more hot water for tea, a dipping sauce, a knife, and soup spoon, refills, more napkins,) we wanted to order more, but knew it would take forever and we didn't even get the items we were still waiting for. She was bussing tables, cleaning them, seating new parties, running all over the place. We waited SO long for her to bring the bill, that I just got up and waited for her to come out of the kitchen to ask her to ring me up bec we had already been waiting so long. I ordered fresh spring rolls and they didn't come with dipping sauce. I've never seen that before, at any Thai or Asian restaurant. The joy of dipping into a delicious sauce is like like serving chips with no salsa. I couldn't wait any longer for her to come by, that I ate them without sauce because I was so hungry. This place was recommended by Vegasstarfish. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. They should have either closed for the night, or only kept open the amount of tables she could handle, not the entire restaurant. I will not return unfortunately.
Hours on reservations are wrong. They are not open for lunch but will happily take your $20 deposit for a lunch reservation . Arrived to closed restaurant.
Delicious! You have to try the eggplant appetizer, amazing. Also the Steak Tartare.
Fantastic food, great service, really comfy atmosphere.
Being basic, I had the Pad Thai, asked for light spice, and it was very light. Even if you're not up to medium spice, make sure you tell them if you do want a little bit on there.
Service was fantastically accommodating.
Unique, creative, and tasty dishes. The basil eggplants small plate was awesome. It is really different from any eggplant dish I have ever had. A unique, combination of flavors that worked perfectly together. This dish alone is worth the trip. The pad see aew chicken was a different, artfully crafted dish as well. The chicken could have been a little bit more tender and flavorful. The service was not the best as it seemed like they had one waitress covering the entire front of the house. I would go back.
Amazing food, great service and chill vibe.
Pricey, but definitely worth it, great atmosphere!
Really nice Thai restaurant and bar. Nice and modern inside, good place for groups. Food is very tasty, slightly expensive then regular Thai places but the ambiance makes up for it. Service a bit spotty. Overall it’s good.
For the price point you would expect a clean restaurant. All the windows and doors were very dirty. The lighting fixtures, bar shelves, and mirror were very dusty. The restrooms need a deep, deep cleaning. Shoes were sticking to the floor. The food was good, but I couldn't get passed the lack of attention to cleanliness, or the mediocre service. Disappointing, this spot has been on my list of to try places for a while.
It says something about the food when there are no left overs.
Rib-Eye Salad (mild) I thought the beef was cooked perfectly. That cut of beef with the fresh vegetable mix went surprisingly well with the chili lime sauce and was refreshing.
Spicy crispy pork belly (mild). A sweet dish, but the pork itself wasn’t sweet. The sweetness of the sauce mixed with the stir fried vegetables balanced well with the pork and the fat melted in my mouth.
Honey Toast
Delicious. Get it to finish off your meal. Brioche perfectly toasted topped with vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, blue berries, raspberries and black berries, with a perfect amount of drizzled honey.
Coming from someone who grew up in Thailand, their food is really authentic and quality of ingredients was really good. I would definitely come again.
Try the fried catfish. Best dish we ordered.
The place has a nice ambiance but there's only 1 lady who works as a waitress and bartender. She provided great customer service but the wait time was long and we felt bad every time we had to bother her. Although the food was good, the service part is what keeps us from returning so I highly suggest the restaurant owner hires at least one more worker.
Dok Lamaii Flower in the Garden ($14): This was a tasty drink with the perfect amount of sweetness. You don't taste the alcohol but it doesn't taste as light as a lychee martini.
Lamaii Old Fashion ($15): This didn't taste good at all. It was almost like drinking straight up alcohol so we were given more bael demerara syrup which made it better.
Garlic Herb Crispy Prawn ($26): This was really good and tasted exactly as the name states. Big prawns that were fried perfectly and had great flavors from the garlic.
Drunken Noodles Crispy Duck ($28): This was good overall but if we were to deconstruct it, it wasn't. The crispy duck was not as crispy as the prawn and that's probably because of the sauce. This drunken noodle was really wet and had so much liquid leftover. They did give a good amount of duck and the flavors were good. The drunken noodles had a lot more vegetables than noodle, and the noodles didn't have that burnt wok taste. I'm guessing this is a fusion version which kinda worked. My husband and I prefer the original drunken noodles. The crispy duck would have been pretty solid if they didn't pour the sauce on top.
Panang Sauce ($8) + Large Steamed Rice ($6): We wanted to try the duck Penang but since we got the duck drunken noodle, we were recommended to order the penang sauce on the side. We got rice too but didn't know there were sizes to them until we saw the check. They gave a lot of rice but we honestly didn't need that much so a small would have sufficed. The white rice was nice & fluffy. The panang sauce was really good and not salty/heavy like a typical penang curry. It went well with everything else we had.
Service mediocre at best. Didn’t have multiple items on the menu. Food on par w rest. Music too loud for such a small space.
A cute small restaurant with ample seating area. The food is delicious! They have a variety of wine along with the food! We ordered the basil eggplant which was out of the world !! amazing flavours.. The wig zap was ok okish .. Taro Crispy roll was good too.. for the main course – Gain Him was the winner !! Pad thai chicken was ok ok. Service took a longer time.. but we had wine to keep company! Little expensive all together. We even tried some desserts – Honey toast – pls don’t buy – it’s a simple French toast with some toppings.. Parath Puff – Nutella and banana in Paratha roll !! Not so great desserts !! But overall a good experience with food !! Definitely coming back !!
[Above all, will I be back?]
I came here due to the upscale interior and nice ambience and good reviews but the food was not impressive and lack of service for the price point. Alcohol list (wine, sake, beer, etc.) was longer than the food list lol As a Vegas local, I don't think I will be back unless they improve their food or if they have happy hour for drinks.
1. Food
I've been to Thailand many times so I know what to expect from Thai foods. Nothing special or extraordinary for Pad See Ew although it was the only food I had here.
- Pad See Ew (Soy sauce stir-fried noodles)
This was just a typical thai food not with a modern twist. The seasoning was good (correct flavor for the food) but too salty. Wish it was less salty. The chicken meat was way too big to swallow at one time so I had to cut them in half and smelly (You know the smell when the cooked chicken is in the fridge for a while). Not satisfied. I don't think I will order this again.
2. Ambience
It is a fancy, trendy and modern Thai themed place with beautiful metal pendant lamps and a lot of wood materials. There are about 20 tables and good to take photos as the one side of the walls has huge glass windows (see my pictures). It was not busy on Tuesday afternoon.
3. Service
The wait staff was friendly. But it was uncomfortable when the server was looking at how much tip I gave him. Also I didn't like that you can only write the amount of the tip instead of being able to % for customized tip. I didn't want to take time to calculate in front of the staff waiting for me to pay so I had to choose the % they set up. This has became common these days.
4. Hygiene
The glasses, cups, utensils, the table and floor were clean.
5. Price (See my pictures of Menu as of June 2023)
Small plates like Goong Caviche is $15, Basil Eggplant is $11
Drunken noodles with steak is $26, Duck Basil Fried Rice is $28.
6. Restroom
It was clean and well maintained. Gender separated. Only one toilet in the bathroom so spacious.
7. Location
It is in the shopping plaza with Macy's Home and Furniture store, next to Nalsso AYCE Korean BBQ restaurant in Chinatown. Less than 15 minutes from the strip.
8. Parking
There is a plenty of parking as it is in a big plaza.

It looks like an upscale Thai restaurant. The menu is more northern Thai food. I liked the food but the service was slow even though the place was kinda empty. Once our water was gone, it was not refilled.
First time here and I'll definitely be coming back. Came here for a birthday celebration and they were able to seat the 12 of us no problem, of course with a reservation. Great ambiance and the service was attentive. The food was delicious. I recommend the som tum, hed sarm yang, fresh oyster, gang pu, sua rong hai and egg yolk ice cream.
Their crispy beef main entree looked like an appetizer AND it was served with no rice. embarrassing
We heard lots of rave reviews of this place and was very excited to try it but we were thoroughly disappointed. We ordered Drunken Noodles Steak, Duck Basil Fried Rice, and Mango Crispy Catfish . The noodles were soggy and soaked in too much sauce and the steak was dry. The Fried rice was soggy and clumpy and the duck was dry and over cooked. The catfish was decent but not very crispy. The mango salad was good but on the sweet side. All the dishes seemed to be on the sweeter side. The only great thing was the cocktails. Sorry but we’re not coming back.
Food was absolutely horrible. I went here on a date, food was insanely oily, gave me really bad gas and the sh^!$ . Service and atmosphere was nice. Napkins smelled like kitchen grease.
Food was delish! No 5 stars because they charge for iced tea refills without telling you! Who charges for refills of iced tea?! So I basically paid $10 for 2 very iced flavored water. Bad form.
one of the better Thai places in vegas.. great for date nights. good decor. good food.
Enjoyed a delicious and reasonably priced mid-week dinner here. From cocktails and apps through entrees - everything was tasty! We look forward to a return visit when we're back in Sin City.
The restaurant is nice and clean inside the waiter was very nice but the food is neither good nor bad.
Food is always excellent at this restaurant!
Much more a wine bar than a restaurant, but still good food.
Food was very salty. Ordered small plates as appetizers and the mains. They brought out all the foods together. Mains got cold by the time we were done with the appetizers. I dont think we will go back there. We were the only ones there and still the waiter took a long time to come and take our order. Was not happy
Came here tonight on a whim with a work trip. The food was excellent and the service was decent. I highly recommend the turmeric curry with beef! My only complaint is the menu online was much more expansive to what was actually presented at the restaurant. Everyone in my party seemed pleased with the food and I’m glad we stopped in while in Vegas!
Stopped by here for dinner and enjoyed every moment. A nice Thai restaurant and the best thing, they do not have an extensive menu selection. Nice 2 pages of dishes to select from.
The service was great and the servers were very nice.
Food:
Basil Eggplant
Kao Soi
Pad See Aew
Sticky Rice with Mango
All the dishes were flavorful and delicious. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and not overcooked at all. The Kao Soi was really good. The noodles went so well with the Curry.
Overall, it is a great spot for bigger groups and delcious food.
This place was absolutely marvelous. My boyfriend and I visited in January of 2021 after hearing raving reviews from a hostess at another restaurant. This place blew us away. The ambiance at night was surprisingly romantic and fun overall; perhaps this is because we visited at a slower time. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I honestly can’t rave enough about the food- absolutely delicious. An absolute must visit if you are in the Vegas area and love Thai food. It’s our first destination when we touch back down in LV 😋
I was in Vegas for a quick weekend trip and knew Lamaii would be my first restaurant to visit. We arrived around 5pm and didn’t have reservations but we were able to be seated immediately. The atmosphere is beautiful. Neatly decorated.
We ordered the mango crispy catfish, the Man Pu fried rice (crab fried rice) and the kao soi. As a SE Asian, I eat a lot of catfish so there was nothing very outstanding about the fried catfish BUT the mango salad underneath it is CHEF’S KISS. So much flavor! The crab fried rice & kao soi was also good. I liked the curry flavor in The kao soi broth.
Overall, the food is on the pricier side but I think it’s worth it. It’s not your usual Thai restaurant.
Beautiful and Trendy feeling interior - food was also very fresh tasting and flavorful. Enjoyed everything we ordered!
Probably one of the best Thai meals I've had. Got the crispy beef which was amazing and the braised beef curry. The flavors were so good. Definitely worth the ride and will be back next time I'm in town.
We came here for dinner during our vegas trip and it was in the list of "most romantic restaurants" in Vegas. This is a place in Chinatown and it is uniquely decorated. Honestly, the atmosphere is not the main selling point of the restaurant even though they have cute booths, if you come here definitely request one of those.
The main attraction is the food, I would say, it's pretty decent Thai food for fair prices. Particularly the crab fried rice is still memorable after a week, so that's our food recommendation.
Food was fine but overly expensive
Disappointed. This came highly recommended, and with all the options in Vegas for dining, I wish we made a different decision. The service was horrible. We made reservations in which I had to leave my credit card in case I canceled I would have been charged a fee of $10 per person. We showed up 5 minutes early and were promptly seated. We are given water and then ignored for over 20 minutes.
The appetizers arrived extremely quickly, about 5 minutes after ordering them. The main course came a bit after that. The food was good. However, the overall experience takes away from the enjoyment of it.
No one ever came around to see if we needed anything or how our meal was. I had to request the check to be brought after waiting an excessive amount of time after completing our meal.
Excellent food and service. Good wine selection.
