Nice easy spot for a nice range of vegetation friendly Thai food, had Pad See Yew with Tofu from their lunch special menu. The service was a little slow, food was a bit bland (and not spicy at all for a requested medium heat) but the prices were great, was served a nice little starter and it was a nice meal regardless. Would go back again for low key dining when in that area.
Gotta be honest. We came here because our normal spot, Arawan, was closed. Looks like for good? Don't know. But it was dinner and we just went next door to this spot. We had never been before.
The food and service were good. The prices reasonable. We had pad Thai, yellow curry, and massaman curry. The pad Thai was just okay but their curries are outstanding!
Fast forward the next week. We decided to try the chicken satay and the $13 lunch specials. The chicken was incredibly moist and the peanut sauce was SO GOOD we asked for it on our lunch special salads. Yum!!! Pretty good spring rolls but a bit like the pad Thai, not out of this world.
We chose the Thai chili basil with pork and Pad See Ew with chicken. They were perfection to be honest.
We are now big fans of this spot. Very comfortable inside, great food, and great service.
It won't deter us from going but we did find the constant phone ringing from the host desk a bit off-putting. Not a fan of hearing the phone ring a few feet away over and over while trying to relax. But maybe that is just us.
This restaurant really surprised me. From the outside it’s quite inconspicuous. Once you enter, you’re inside a beautiful, cozy and tranquil atmosphere.
We went at a time it wasn’t very busy. Our food arrived super fast and our service was very attentive.
The food itself was good. I appreciate that they have several vegan options on their menu. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu. Maybe I would have enjoyed it a bit more if it had less and smaller chunks of tofu. Otherwise it was good. The spring rolls were decent.
Portions are big and price is fair. Worth it if you don’t want to spend all your time on the Las Vegas Strip.
Great service, great atmosphere, and great food! You really get a lot for your money here- the quality is really great and the portions could easily make 2 meals! Very welcoming staff that’s willing to answer any questions you have- and a very very clean restaurant! We were very impressed and will be coming back to try more of the menu!!
This Thai restaurant is truly exceptional and ranks among the finest in the US! Having explored numerous Thai establishments, I can confidently say that this one easily secures a spot in the top three. The service provided was truly impressive, with prompt delivery of our food. Our appetizers consisted of delectable egg rolls and wontons, both bursting with flavor. As for the main course, we indulged in the mouthwatering duck chili mint and the fried catfish accompanied by a delightful red curry sauce. These dishes were nothing short of extraordinary! Our overall experience was nothing short of wonderful, leaving us eager to revisit this establishment in the future.
When you keep refusing to get off the Las Vegas strip and insist on staying in the tourist trap, you are going to miss the little food gems around town. This little gem is tucked in a unlikely strip mall you would pass up just because of the outside appearance of the building. The food is amazing and will cater to gluten-free and vegan individuals. I had Thai hot green curry with steamed rice, and it was very yummy. Every time I am in Vegas, this is one of my food stops.

The Tom Kha soup is my favorite! Everything we tried was delicious! The staff is so friendly! We had a great night!
What a great dinner. Flavors were dead on. A hidden gem.
Unusually awesome Thai food in a mini mall far off the strip. Standout flavors, and warm, friendly service (we love Amy!)
Food was just ok. Pad Thai tasted a little like BBQ. But for the sanity of all turn off the elevator music track on repeat. Or at least throw in a 'we're experiencing unusually high call volumes, all agents are assisting other callers'
One of the best Thai restaurants in Vegas. A hidden gem.
Great food and great service. I recommend
Quality, proper thai. Simple as that. It's above average. Very fair priced. Sauces also note worthy. The cook definitely cares.
My wife and I loved going here. Food was fresh and cooked with pride.
Then they got shut down for health code and we hadn’t returned in a while. Tonight we gave them another shot…. What a disappointment.
Red curry was bland and orange, Tom Kha was discussing, oily, and red in color. Orange chicken was burnt and the sauce tasted old. Nothing like dropping $70 for terrible food.
This will be the last time we eat from this restaurant.
Tasty and affordable Thai food in this area. The customer service was also good. The portions was good enough and we had leftovers.
This restaurant really surprised me. From the outside it’s quite inconspicuous. Once you enter, you’re inside a beautiful, cozy and tranquil atmosphere.

Their service was fantastic. The pad thai was good, definitely made by someone who knows how to make authentic Thai food. The curry was a bit too sweet. I am not sure if they added sugar to it to try and attract the American palate, but I hope they stop doing that. The service and pad thai make it worth going back to, though!
훌륭합니다. 호텔거리에서 1인 식사 비용으로 2인이 잔치해요. 맛도 너무 좋고 사장님도 친절하고 깨끗합니다.
Excellent service and great food. Amy and Hugo made for great conversation. If you’re looking for great Thai food in the area at reasonable prices, this is your place. They also have many vegetarian options.
2024 update. Nothing has changed, continues to impress.. a must visit while in Vegas if you are a Thai food fan.
2013: 12 of us tried to go to a more well known neighbor - without reservations - we were met with a 2-2.5 hour wait ... we decided to see what else was around and walked over to this place.. I can say that it was even better than the other place (which we had visited previously the night before).
The various fried rice options and pad thai options were incredible.
Needless to say - all 12 of us came away very satisfied.
I had the curry fried rice VERY spicy - it was simply delectable.
If you are a true spicy food connoisseur visiting vegas - do not pass up this place.
Service was the only good part about this restaurant. Server was nice. The food was not authentic to Thai flavor. Food dod not taste good. Portions are very big. Hope they can improve the quality of the food in the future
Everything Here is always perfect. The food is impeccable. I think of this place when I'm away from...there are a lot of food places n Vegas esp Asian yet there is no other place like this. The flavors are so good . It's home cooking and u feel welcome . The ginger salad is particularly yummy 😋 the soups are so good especially for a hangover. Lol. Take the cab and Try it !!
Been going here since 2003... but first time visiting in about ten years.
I wonder if it is the same family 🤔
Food is still pretty good and our server was friendly and kind.
This is one of my favorite places in Vegas. I have been going here for the past 11 years nearly annually. There is so much vegetarian food to choose from, and you can make any dish hella spicy. Make sure you ask for Thai hot and not white people hot. The staff is nice and friendly too!
The service is inconsistent, however the food is always exceptional!

Yummy.
Great vegetarian options!
Free parking.
Close to, but off the main strip.
everything is authentic, the best thai food in vegas
We were in Vegas for the weekend, picked Komol based on the star rating and we were not disappointed. Great food and service. Must have the spicy edamame!!!
It could be better
The food and service were great. My only comment is that the water had a funny taste, old pipes? I the Red Curry, and it was excellent! My date had Yellow Curry, which she said was also excellent. We also had the appetizer platter very good.
Favorite Thai restaurant! I always get the herbal salad and tom ka soup! So yummy
superb Thai food.
Was a pleasant surprise. Food was amazing. Their pineapple fried rice was excellent and must try. Had a good selection of vegetarian options. Will definitely return
Awesome came here after visiting a friend at sunrise hospital very good food and service
The Tom Yum Goong is one of the best in my opinion.
Many many vegan options. Love this place
Good food and service
This has been my favorite Thai food for over a decade. Very reliable in terms of taste, quality and service. The menu is extensive and a little overwhelming, so I usually order from the simple lunch menu, even if it’s an entree portion. The duck fried rice is a rare treat for me, but my go to is the chicken yellow curry.
Have been coming to this restaurant for over 9 years! Highly recommend it to anyone.
Ordered for delivery, so can’t speak to things other than the food, but the food was so good!! Exactly what I needed after a very long day tromping around. Shared curry fried rice (includes fried egg; added chicken for a bit extra) and nam-sod (with crispy rice, duh) with my partner and we loved both. Some of the best Thai I’ve had. If I get the chance to have it again, I’m going to try the herbal salad - looked really good. BTW “medium spice” had some serious kick to it.
Beautiful atmosphere, the food & service was AWESOME 👌 this was our FIRS time here. We'll be back again SOON❣️
They have great lunch specials. Very clean place and great atmosphere.

We ordered panang curry and spring rolls thru Uber Eats. I asked for mild spice for the curry, but you could burn a hole thru metal with these! I couldn’t have more than a quarter of the meal. It also just wasn’t that good overall, and they gave me egg rolls instead of spring rolls. Overpriced for the quantity. Disappointing :-(
Excellent Thai food!
Found this place on Google searching for, closest Thai restaurants. Wasn’t expecting much, just something to satisfy the hunger. Parking was easy/available.
Restaurant: Once you walk through the door, the atmosphere is comforting and has a home like feeling. The staff are kind and inviting. Probably, the best food customer service I’ve had in Las Vegas.
Now to the food. First, if you have a dairy or gluten allergy they accommodate to that! I ordered the yellow curry chicken and it didn’t look the best (take out wise), but man was this some of the best curry I’ve had! After I finished and felt full I wanted more just because of how good it tasted. This place is a hidden gem in the city of LV and I highly recommend to check it out for anyone reading this. Will definitely be coming back
*Only 4 stars because this was my first time there and need to see the consistency of the experience*
This used to be one of my favorites. Sadly, it's gone way down hill. Sweet staff and food was ok, but the lettuce tasted old, the peanut sauce was rancid. Masaman was very sweet. Tom kha was great!
You'll wait a long time for service, so don't come if you are in a hurry.
Limited wine. Decent veggie options.
My Birthday celebration and everything was so good.
Amazing spot everything is on point.
Very tasty and authentic Thai food. The service is also very friendly ~ highly recommended
Update Edit:
New Owners Ruined This Place.
Changed the menu, removed the favorites, raised the prices, and most importantly Lowered The Quality Of Ingredients. NOPE. We took one bite and left. We paid to leave. Gross. We will never be back. Why buy a place if you don't understand that the Food is Why We Come Here? It's certainly NOT for the neighborhood or decor! Extremely disappointed. Nothing lasts forever. Feel bad for the staff. They know the new owners have destroyed their business. The food is GROSS. You can't fake quality ingredients. Tastes like garbage. Not sure where we will go for Thai food now, we used to go here about once a month and we haven't eaten Thai anywhere since for about 3 months now. Sad that the former owners had to sell, for whatever reason. Sadder that the new owners thought they could improve upon perfection.
Previous Review: The Fresh Rolls are enough to keep me coming back and bringing friends. The TomKha soup is outstanding. Really affordable favorites with a huge vegan menu, you can literally bring anyone here and leave happy.
Amazing Thai food! Highly recommend the crab fried rice and lemon chicken. The beef pad Thai is amazing too!
Three of us were feeling a bit sick after eating here. No one puked but we felt not great.
Outstanding fresh Thai food. Started with fresh Spring Rolls - loaded with fresh basil. Enjoyed Drunken Noodles, and a Panang curry. Lemon Chicken was nicely crisp with a light (not syrupy) sauce. Casual vibe with pleasant service.
Love this place off the strip. Always excellent meals. The fried rice is very tasty. The soups are very good.
This use to be a great place few years back the quality of the food and level of service has gone way down. I won’t be visiting this place next time my trip to Vegas.
1st time trying this place. Chose pineapple fried rice, pad kee mao, and orange tofu. Everything was delicious but the orange tofu stood out. Looking forward to coming back when I get that Thai kick. Thanks Komol!
Was recommended this place by the gallerist Nancy over at Core Contemporary and I’m so glad we came. We shared the combination garlic fried rice and the Tom kha - I want to have the Tom kha every time I’m ever feeling remotely under the weather because it just exudes the kind of soup that makes you feel immediately better upon eating. The combination appetizer was also so delicious. We will absolutely be coming back. Amy was so friendly and welcoming. They also take good care of large parties and welcomed us in even an hour before closing. Thank you so much for a delicious meal!
Excellent Thai food with a very extensive menu for everyone to enjoy. Nearly every dish is offered with vegetarian or vegan options. All the prices are fair and the staff are some of the friendliest in town. I've never had a bad experience at Komol. Highly recommend!
Over the last few weeks, I dined at Komol Thai Restaurant in Las Vegas three times. As a Thailander myself, I know first hand how Thai food should taste. I can confirm that Komol Restaurant serves tasty authentic Thai food! I was fully satisfied with the food. I highly recommend everyone to try out this Thai restaurant whenever they are in Las Vegas. Special thanks to the waiting staff for their warm and genuine Thai hospitality during my three visits.
I went there for lunch on Thursday and enjoyed the fish cakes. I love their pad Thai, their Tea as well as their curry.
ive loved komol for YEARS literally since 2008 ive been eating here and its my FAVORITE thai restaurant in town ! they have an extensive vegetarian menu which i love. the herbal salad is one of the most unique flavors ive ever eaten. i always order the curry though!! and they have the best tom kha
I decided to try a new place for lunch. $12 for a lunch special I ordered chicken pad Thai…. This had no flavor, noddles were stuck together and food did not taste fresh at all. My egg roll came in a sandwich bag and it was cold. I do not recommend this place. I’m big on helping family owned business but, this is not quality food. Taste like left over food
Quiet, clean, and delicious

Dear owners and staff
We were greeted with a nice welcome on our arrival by Amy.
Thank you Amy for your wonderful attentiveness and excellent service. My son and I appreciate you.
Fresh egg rolls were great as well as garlic chicken and sons hot Mongolian beef selection.
Thanks for the wonderful food.

Dangly Soooo Amazzing.
The 5 Chefs that worked their magic again here have outstanding skillsets when it comes to this longtime community Thai anchor restaurant. The customer service here is excellent and well managed from the time you enter til exit. Amazingly tasty food and Chef creativity are the key to Komodo continued success.
komol is located centrally inside the newly polished parking area of this 50 year Old Historic Commercial at 953 East Sahara Ave.
Thanks to Ron McMenamy & family as well as the business owners tenaciously remaining here thru this trying last year we still have some great restaurant contenders here in Vegas with great reasonable prices.
Excellent curries and Tom kha gai
Great food! Decor a bit dated but extensive veggie menu more than made up for it! Staff nice! Clean!
It's been a number of years since I've been in Vegas and was able to go here. The food was fantastic as always. Went twice this trip. If you're looking for a nice quiet meal off the strip and like Thai food, this should be your go-to place. Very extensive menu including lots of vegetarian.
I wish there was more consistency. Sometimes the Pad Thai is really good sometimes not so good
Khob khun ka ขอบคุณค่ะ !!
This joint is pretty good! A local, family-ran Thai eatery boasting an authentic vibrant, flavorsome and mouth-drooling menu at low-key fare, I love the vegan menu and have plenty of options here.
I got the Vegetarian Satay and Green Curry แกงเขียวหวาน (Kang-Ped Delight), both were super yummy with great flavor and plentiful portions as well as great authentic flavor. The peanut sauce with the Tofu Satay skewers is a knockout, and a great mix and balance in the green Curry.
Support local businesses!
Wow! Such incredible flavors.
Had no trouble parking or getting a table at 8 on Saturday. Very friendly and helpful service.
Thai tea and coffee were delicious.
Tom kha goong was so good, maybe best I've had. Herbal salad had so many flavors, never had anything so complex. Shrimp satay was excellent and lots of shrimp. Seaweed soup was really good too. I wasn't so fond of the corn soup or sea bass with garlic sauce. Vegetarian appetizer combo was pretty good, like vegetable tempura but very lightly breaded.
No alcohol of any sort which was disappointing, minus 1 star for that.
We made an online order through an app. The driver showed up and, although they had the order, they hadn't made it and didn't plan on it. Instead of calling us or the delivery app to let us know they were too busy to follow through, they ignored us and argued with the delivery driver. My husband had to go over there to try to see out happened and we waited well over an hour to figure it out for ourselves.
Really disappointed in the poor communication. Gave 1 extra star because the food there is good but the communication .. YIKES.
Great
Super good food, really good price. I ate there 2 to 3 times a week in the time I spent in Vegas
Decent prices decent food. We tried some of their lunch specials as well as requlat entrees and soups .. And unfortunately for it not being so busy we waited quite some time for the food and the food was warm not quite hot and not quite cold which worked out in our favor because our kids were starving and able to dig right into it. However for us adults it was a No GO... And we ordered two of the same beef noodle soups both same price but in different size bowls. We didn't even bother to bring it up anymore because we were honestly in a hurry.
Absolutely love the food and the service here!! Best mushroom tom yum!
Been in Vegas over half century…. and when I want Tai this is where I go!!!
They have been serving their delicious food to me for well over 30yrs. Family owned and operated, and know what the eff they’re doing. Masters at their craft. Everything down to the ice cream is hand made with the most flavorful and excellent ingredients. Average price for a dish is $10 give or take……
So stop reading and go/order. You cannot do better than this place. BTW they have extensive Vegetarian menu which is also sublime. Enjoy!!!
My husband been going there o er 20 years we love it!!!
Fantastic made from scratch Thai food. Very nice service and even better quality food.
The waiter got mad cus she did not receive a lot of tip she even walked out and gave me the money back Ungrateful lady never goin back
Birthday celebration with one of my oldest friends. We visited this restaurant 4 years before. The food was delicious and the service was great. Coconut water was so good 😊
I’ve been to this restaurant 3 to 4 different times the food was great so I decided to have my birthday dinner here. I was so embarrassed because midway through the dinner a giant roach was climbing on the wall above us, and we sat directly next to the kitchen. My hole party immediately stopped eating and got up and just wanted the bill. We pointed the roach out to both the server and manager who apologized then brought us our bill that was well over 300 because of how many people there was. I was shocked that it was still full price after what had just happened.
My hole birthday was ruined and now every time I invite my friends and family anywhere for dinner they bring that up and laugh. Im the laughing stock for anyones dinner plans and almost nobody comes anymore. I have never been back to this restaurant.
Always delicious! 😋
Decently priced, multiple vegetarian options ( an elaborate menu). Portions are good for the price. Taste is average.
Every time we are in town Komol is our first stop. This time, as soon as we got off the plane we drove to Komol, (45 minutes before closing). We just needed our fix. This place to me has an eternal lifeline. I just know it will be around FOREVER. Hopefully my childrens'(I don't have any) great grandchildren get to experience this restaurant. I always get the Tofu Tom Yum with a 10 spice and the Crunchy Orange Tofu with the Fried Veggie Spring Rolls. Always, always so good. Never disappoints. That Tom Yum broth will literally cure you. If I lived here, I can eat the Tom Yum everyday. I am not lying, its so filling and the broth... my goodness. AMAZING restaurant for EVERYONE.
Tofu Red and Tofu Green Curry was great and they put plenty of vegetables in the curry sauce. I would probably rate it closer to five stars but the service was very slow despite there only being 3 tables with customers. I would gladly return no buyers remorse if you have time to sit down and wait on the food
אוכל תאילנדי מדהים (טעים, הרבה, ...) בשרות מצוין (יעיל, מותאם אישי...), במחירים סבירים.
Komol has been in business for as long as I can remember. We moved here in '88 and it was already open. They have by far the best Tom Yum soup in town. The owners and staff aim to please. They are friendly and courteous. Ample parking. Reasonable prices. Who could ask for anything more? Their other Thai food is excellent as well.
Definitely will be returning, I feel my life has definitely been changed by the "Red Soda". Amazing seafood tom kha soup, chicken panang curry, and combaniton pad see ew noodles.
Outstanding and fresh food! This is our regular go to in Vegas. Must stop for the fresh spring rolls. Service is excellent here.
Good selection of Thai food
Delicious food. Great service. We order set about 7 dishes, of which all were good.
I dont understand why this place doesn't have 5 stars. Vegan haven!! Staff are friendly and open. Food is fairly priced and punched with flavor. You don't need to be vegan to fully enjoy this place. I'll be bringing my friends and family here.
100% good for vegetarian .if u in lasvegas trip Pl u take one visit for vegetarian foods.very clean resturent
Great price for some delicious Thai food 10 mins away from the strip.
We went there for lunch.
They still have lunch nenu under 10$. The average was $8. It's hard to find the restaurant like that now days.
Right portion for one meal.
I wanted mango with sticky rice but they didn't have it because of out of season..
Hope they have when we will return.
Great food.
Sometimes, good things are found off the beaten path. This restaurant is a great example of this.
The surrounding area seems like a run down shopping mall, a lot of empty parking spaces, with very little to show for it.
Dropped in to this restaurant on a whim, but very glad I did. It was fairly empty for being around 6 PM, but it's more than likely more people are interested in eating on the strip, and the location is very much "off strip".
I started with Mee-krob, which was a fried crispy noodle appetizer. The noodles were lightly fried, and had a nice sweet glaze to them. The bean sprouts in the dish were cooked just enough to bring out their sweetness, and added a delightful texture to the dish.
For my entire, I decided on their Seafood Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) with a medium level of spice. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the seafood, which included shrimp, squid, crab, and mussels, was well prepared. The level of spice was a little hot, but not overbearing.
I was set on having their Mango with Sweet Sticky Rice, but they were out, maybe next time I will get to try it out.
Overall, it was a really good experience, and the food was exceptional. You probably won't have to deal with the long waits you'd encounter if you weren't to Spring Mountain, and you'd get the same quality, if not better, meal.
We sent back part of our order it tasted so bad!. We ordered several things and the only thing that was good was the chow mien. I have no Idea how this restaurant got an award for food. Server was very nice but we all left feeling so disappointed and a little ill also a ton of oil on everything! Thumbs down don’t go here.
Heard one of the best thai restaurants in LA was Jitlada. Stopped with my family on our way home to LV....was nothing compared to the best thai restaurant in LV.... Komol. As a 30 year customer Komol is still by far the best thai restaurant in Vegas. We'll continue to come every other weekend for the best house sauce and Tom Yum Soup in NV & CA combined.
The service was subpar, the waiter spilled water on the table when pouring. She didn’t bother to clean it up so I had to use my 1 and only napkin to clean it up. The food quality wasn’t good, nor did it taste good. Very disappointing!
Ordered take out and I could not even believe what I received. It was so bad it could have been a joke. Ordered 2 pad thai's and some appetizer. The appetizer was not even worth 50 cents. The small pad thai container was half full and the food was just terrible. I have had 10 pad thai dishes around the area to compare to and this was not even worth 2 stars. I ended up hungry and forced myself to eat roast beef crackers at home to have enough sustenance after the meal from Komol.
Incredible vegan Thai food. Such a great restaurant. I've enjoyed everything I've gotten so far.
Food here is excellent. Service is also very good. We come back all the time.
Good food, service was ok. The hostess seating us was rude when we requested a change of table when the place was practically empty except us in the restaurant!
Heaping Thai Iced Tea servings & an expansive plant-based menu pleases crowds of all sizes
Best Thai in Vegas for 30+ years
A favorite I grew up with. Panang and Thom Ka are unmatched.
Never eaten in ... Only take. Easy and convenient to get to from my location. Good food ... my nephew loves their food.
Started with a chai iced coffee which was delicious. The food was disappointing. I ordered crispy tofu which was dry, cut in very thin slices and lacked flavor. Also had wonton soup which was delicious. Friendly staff. The restaurant only one other customer.
Soup is a covid killaa
Vegan Satay was tasty
Love the food
The have vegan dishes that are great.
This place was great! Tried to go to Lotus of Siam and they were closed so we went here, so glad we did. Great food, very nice servers, very reasonable priced. Will always go here from now on.
Great place. Excellent service. Clean. Had the Panang curry and Green curry. Delicious.
Visited this restaurant from Atlanta based on my friend's recommendation. One of the best decisions. Great team and food was yummy. Their Thai Saki and herbal salad are out of the world. Sadly went there on the last day of our stay in Vegas. Family friendly and making reservation online or over the phone is pretty easy too. Will surely make multiple trips to have their yummy food, when in Vegas next.
Delicious! A long time favorite, we have eaten here often for over ten years. We have dined as a group of two, four, and even ten people and each time receive attentive and polite service. My partners mom is from Thailand and we recently went with another Thai person who moved here two years ago and both have said it’s their favorite Thai restaurant in Vegas.
Be sure to get a tom kha or tom yum soup to start. I love the beef salad or the nam sod with crispy rice for a salad. You cannot go wrong with any noodle dish or curry on the menu. To drink I enjoy their Thai tea or coffee as well as the specialty Thai soda (made with Hale’s).
If you cannot handle spicy food order medium or low spice level. We will be back again soon!
Mild, bland Thai place.
There was a roach on the table we were going to eat at. Didnt eat and Will not return.
My all time favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. I visit every year and they maintain the same standards. Food was so delicious and they maintain and follow CDC guide line for dining.
