Bangkok Streetfood in the Art district, Las Vegas near Downtown.
We visited D E Thai Kitchen on a Monday night just two days before Christmas, and it was a fantastic experience! The service was impressively quick, especially considering the busy holiday season. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring we felt welcomed from the moment we walked in.
The food? Absolutely AMAZING! Every dish was perfectly seasoned, full of flavor, and freshly prepared. The menu had plenty of vegan options, which was a huge plus for us. It’s always refreshing to find a restaurant that not only accommodates but also excels at offering vegan choices.
The atmosphere was charming in that classic “hole in the wall” way. It’s the kind of place where you know the focus is on serving incredible food rather than over-the-top décor, and we loved it. There’s something so special about discovering gems like this that are unpretentious but deliver top-tier meals.
If you’re in the area and craving authentic Thai food with lots of options for different diets, we highly recommend D E Thai Kitchen. We’ll definitely be back!
We found this little gem hidden in the Ats district. We belong to a "‘Supper club”trying new restaurants is what we do. Although this place is small, there is seating outside if the weather is good. The food: WOW! It is that good, just WOW! All of us give it a 5 star ratting. The Tom kha gai soup was the best we have ever had.Service; only one waitress but she hustled and made it happen. None of our dishes was ever cold and was delivered to our table pronto. The restaurant was very clean and had a good “vibe” about it. So if you are ever in need of authentic Thai food, try out D E Thai Kitchen, you won’t be disappointed.
Was in town for the weekend & was looking for anything to eat. Randomly stumbled across this place on tiktok & decided to try it. It's a small little spot with maybe only 6-8 tables so be prepared to wait for a seat!
We ordered the coconut shrimp, spicy basil beef, boat noodles, & khao soi. Everything was delicious. As someone who has a high spice tolerance & usually doesn't think level 10 spice foods are spicy when we go out, the level 10 here is HOT. 10/10 recommend, although be patient as it is a small spot & they don’t have a lot of staff.
YUM!!! Amazing Thai food. I’ve never had anything bad here. I’ve also been to their other location and it’s just as amazing. It’s so so I will come here every time I’m back in Vegas. We got egg rolls, chicken pad thai, lobster fried rice, banana fried rolls with coconut ice cream! It is a pretty small place, but we came on a Friday night and were able to have a table!
Went here with my gf for a quick bite after walking past the place and becoming intrigued... I have never had thai food before and this was a pleasant first time experience! My gf ordered the chicken yellow curry and a thai tea lemonade. I ordered the pad kee mao/drunken noodles and a regular thai tea. We both shared a mango sticky rice together after. Everything was delicious and made fresh! The lady who served us was also very polite and kind, overall a good experience and will go again :)
Great little hole in the wall Thai food place! Tasted fresh, and we got our food fast!
Freundliche Bedienung und lecker Essen.
Da erinnert man sich gleich an Thailand😋
Drunken noodles was delicious .. came back to have it again.
Some of the best thai I've had.
I was visiting from the Bay Area, drawn by the high rating, and I was not disappointed. Quite the contrary, they served me one of the best curries I’ve ever had in my life. I ate the Ka Nom Jeen Nam Ya Pu, which is a spicy yellow curry with crab meat (pictured). My friends also enjoyed their meals.
Offers a great mix of classic and street food thai dishes that are super fresh.
The catfish and softshell crab in particular were great.
Friendly service and a calm atmosphere to enjoy it all
Lowkey Thai spot with truly excellent food, fast and friendly service, and good pricing. This will be my go to spot for downtown dining.
Super cute small local stop. Highly recommend! Ordering take out was super easy through the website. Food was fresh, fast, and filling. Loved the crab fried rice.
Food was bomb and the place is cute
Good food, good service (waitress was nice), and it's not overpriced.
Quick service even though they were very busy. Really, really amazing food- had the Tom Kha soup and yellow curry, and both were the best I’ve had
First time coming here, this is the best Thai food I ever had, very tasteful, good potions, really good service, the only problem was the parking, you have keep an eye on your car, lot of druggies kiind of look like the zombie movie.😬 but other than that food delicious , definitely coming back.😋
Such a cute spot! The papaya salad and drunken noodles were fantastic. Super kind and cool server!
The drunken noodle tastes good, however, the green curry is too salty.

Fabulous little place! A must try!!
We had a crab meat fried rice and a kao soi and it was so good. The server was nice and friendly, and the atmosphere was great(liked their music) as well!! Highly recommend!!
Truly excellent Thai food. Highly recommended.
Very good Thai food. The food was fresh and the servings were generous. The soft shell crab was very good! The waitress was also so kind and the facility was clean.
Great thai food restaurant,it was a hidden gem.Glad we came across it,delicious food, nice and fresh.
Great food, "khao soi" is the best!
I had the Red Curry with tofu which was delicious, along with great service I would highly recommend this place.
Great food, reasonably priced.
I enjoyed the food, and they have some good vegetarian/vegan options.

Got the Kana Moo Grob and it was incredibly salty making it hard to eat, which is unfortunate because otherwise the flavor was good. We also got the spring rolls and they were very bland, it probably would have benefited from the addition of herbs.
The service was pretty bad, I don’t think she interacted with us much and never refilled the water the whole time we were there
Food was great and the Thai tea...amazing!
Truly amazing Thai food. Fresh crunchy veggies with perfectly seasoned meat and sauces. Spice was just right (8). You can tell it was made as ordered. Awesome!!
Food leaked and broke out of their apparently unsecured containers on my short walk home. It then pooled and soaked through my bag. Food was useless like that, I had to throw it out. Why can't they double check the seal when they pack up?

Great Thai food. This is a small thai restaurant that makes you feel welcome. The staff is friendly. They also have outdoor dining seating.
We were going to try Lotus of Siam but decided on this place bc of reviews. It is super small and packed and only one server, she took great care of us. Had pad see ew and ginger curry. Really good thai.
Absolutely incredible!!!! Best Thai Food I’ve had since visiting Thailand. And to be honest, this very well might be better than any Khao Soi than I had in Chaing Mai. That’s obviously saying something. Can’t wait to come back to Vegas to hit up this gem.
Amazing food, add the heat to your taste! Excellent welcome as well. A must in Vegas! We had the spicy basil plate & Ka Na Moo Gob
Little out of the way place with great food!
This really is an amazing hidden gem. Such amazing service and the food was amazing.
This was the best place I ate in Vegas. Better than hotel food, that’s for sure. The Drunken Noodle with tofu (spice level 4) was perfect. A nice portion and the tofu was fried so that it was actually enjoyable.
First place that I ate in Vegas that felt clean. Great food and luvly little spot. You can tell they take love and pride in their little restaurant.
This is a classic example that we should not go to a restaurant simply based on ratings. This is a small place well outside the strip with hardly 12 seats. The food was just ok as I could not taste authentic Thai flavors in Green curry, pad thai or the spring rolls.
Everything here is so good. It’s unreal. This has become a must go to spot for us when we pass through Las Vegas.
The food was so delicious. We got the egg rolls and Drunken Noodles with a level 7 spicy. It was so good I want to go back. I was also so happy they could do a Thai Ice tea with almond milk for me, I haven’t had one in so long. My husband got the Thai tea lemonade which is now a new favorite. The service was great also, the waitress/hostess was super sweet and so helpful when it came to letting us know where we could park since it’s very limited. We will definitely go back when we are on that side of town next.
Wow one of the best authentic Thai food with awesome hospitality. Love it
Glad we discovered this restaurant .. absolutely delicious. Tried tom yum, fried rice and pad Thai. Everything was 10/10. Highly recommend. Definitely be back

The chicken plates are more onion than chicken, the noodles are sticky and overcooked, I would never return to this place I don’t recommend this restaurant
Jedzenie przepyszne.
best thai place I have visited as a vegetarian. ordered tom yum soup and panang curry. also coconut icecream witj fried banana is excellent. hidden gem. must try
Small but excellent Thai spot in Las Vegas close to Zak Bagans haunted museum. The food was fresh, authentic and delicious. I'm not from the area but I will be back in the future and can not wait to come back to DE Thai to try another dish off their menu. Also check out their hidden menu! Highly recommend.
Had a takeout order,
I'm vegetarian they put chicken all in it
Had to drive it back once I realized the mistake
They gave it back to me with the tofu in it but it was cold, not compensated
Second time appeared like they did not remake it, only took the chicken out and added tofu as it was cold
Went back in to get it fixed and hopefully they remade it but who knows, was given a Thai tea
Very frustrating as we have been customers for years and it's not hard to remake a dish!
Super cute and delicious food. Server was very mindful, very demure. Got the red chicken curry level 4/10 which was definitely spicy. Chicken satay also excellent. I’ll come whenever I visit the outlets!
I wish I could eat here everyday. The hardworking young lady upfront is on it, she does everything but cook! Takes you order, cleans up tables, handles to go orders and keeps her cooks busy! It's inspiring to see hard working people. They make amazing Thai food with a smile at all times.
My husband, son and I visited for dinner on a Sunday and were able to get a table right away.
The server was friendly and helpful, and we got our meals very quickly. We ordered mild versions of the Drunken Noodles with shrimp and basil fried rice with chicken. Both were tasty but I preferred the fried rice. The shrimp that were served with the Drunken Noodles were perfectly cooked. It was great having 4 hot condiments on the table to explore.
We intended to try the mango sticky rice but had no room because the portion sizes of the entrees were so generous!
Highly recommended!
Lack flavor.
Great service, delicious food, good prices. We ate here twice on our last trip to Vegas because we liked it so much. Lots of vegan options too!
Amazing food!
Hole in the wall type of restaurant. Very nice staff and extremely good food. Be careful on the spice level if you’re not used to spicy food.
The food is terrific. I’ve eaten there 2 days in a row .
Great local hole in the wall Thai Food place. Don't tell too many people. 😁
รสชาติอาหารไทย แซ่บจริง
Hole in the wall. Fast friendly service. Delicious food!
I just came in today with my family and the food was delicious! We got crab rangoons, egg rolls, drunken noodle, pad thai, panang curry, and kao soi (pictured with tofu). They were all really flavorful dishes. I also got a thai iced tea and it tasted fresh and not too sweet. I like a good amount of spice in my food and ordered the kao soi at level 5, which was a good if you want a medium spice level. I could’ve gone a level higher probably. Really the only downside was that the curry was a little messy to eat—I did get splatter on my clothes so I wouldn’t wear anything too nice! Overall the food was really good and the waitstaff was also very friendly and helpful.
Amazing friendly service. We ate vegetarian and the food was really tasty.
Very nice! My son and I both had noodle dishes, pad see ew and drunken noodles. Good food, pleasant service, large servings. One note: I ordered my noodles 4 spicy on a scale of 10. You never know what a scale means, if it's local or Thai hot, but they were only medium spicy.
This is a flawless restaurant.
Super tasty and cozy spot with incredible customer service. I got the chicken satay and pad thai and was impressed by the freshness and depth of the flavor. It will definitely be high on my list of places to eat at when I am traveling through Vegas!
Amazing food
I ate a Tom Yum Soup. It feels like to be back in Thailand!
Great service! Definitely worthy to try it out here…
Fantastic place serving great Thai food. You get to dial in the heat of your food to get both great flavor and spice. Glad we found this place and have it a shot.
This was extremely delicious. They are very accommodating to vegans. We almost went back here two days after our first time and would have had the end of vacation arrived. So good.
Secrete menu is awesome. Best Thai food I’ve had in Vegas with great price.
Delicious Tai food, you should try it. 😋
Amazing! Excellent portions with an exquisite taste.
Best Thai food in Vegas. Recommendation nr 1: Kao Soi !!!
Stopped in after hitting the antique mall on Main Street. The food is super authentic and fresh. The service was on point. The area leaves a little to be desired. Loved the pad Thai and garlic chicken, but the crab Rangoon stole the show! I got 7 on the spice scale and it was pleasant consistent heat. My wife got a 3 and felt that was pretty hot :)
Decided to have some Thai for lunch and this gem of a restaurant was located within walking distance from our hotel, The English. We had Crab Rangoon - very mild with a nice sweet sauce, and Green Curry with Chicken and Shrimp at a 6 spice level - it was amazing and I liked it even better than our Thai Place at home as they don't put in any eggplant in this version!
Service was so friendly and the food came out quickly.
The atmosphere was perfect for a lunch spot and dinner would be great too - just don't expect the elaborate decor of Strip Casinos or anything like that. It was super clean and there was ample seating.
This place has inspired my appetite for Thai food again!! Finally a Thai restaurant that serves Thai cuisine vs Westernized/localized taste. Thai spicy! So from a range of 1-10, 3 is Western mild/medium which is good for me who enjoys mild (Spicy 1 is nothing). Con is that we were really thirsty after :( So ingredients used aren't as clean as we wished. But the taste is way better than other local places in the Westside area.
Small place good for parties of 2-4. There are 4 tables that fit 4, and 2 tables that fit 2ppl. Don't get it confused wity Bangkok Street Food in DTLV. When I yelp, I accidentally searched that company vs DE Thai Restaurant. We walked over from Bangalow Coffee Shop.
The Thai items offered are general popular favorites. Exception regional specific food: Northern Thai's $17 Kao Soi, and Southern Thai's $17 Kua Gling, and $24 Ka Nom Jeen Nam Ya Pu.
- $12 Papaya Salad.
- $16 Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) with crispy pork. Other proteins are lower in price, except seafood at $18. The noodles surprisingly was really good, egg pan fried. But the sliced mushrooms was a weird surprise haha
- $19 Spicy Catfish. Texture was good. Slightly fishy but expected for catfish.
- $3 per bowl of Jasmine rice.
No tap/house water. When you order water, it'll be an order bottle water.
- $4 coconut water. Not fresh version. Just the generic brand vita coco.
- $5 Palm Juice bottle.
I normally would pick Kao Soi and/or Catfish dishes. Interested in trying next time:
- $17 Kao Soi
- A spicy basil plate
- Larb
- $24 Ka Nom Jeen Nam Ya Pu
- $20 Beef Waterfall
- $20 Crying Tiger
- sausage, crab fried rice
.....too many items I'm interested in trying. I'm pretty picky with boat noodle soup so I'm a bit hesitant to try. This place seems good for rice dishes.
This place was so gooddddd 🫶🏻
Tom yum, some of the best soup I’ve ever had.
Thai food is my favorite food in existence and this is the best place I've ever tried!! The crying tiger was so good and my pork belly/Chinese broccoli combo was my favorite. My bfs pad Thai was tangy, saucy, and flavorful as it should be. This place deserves are the hype and recognition!
My brother did a last minute decision to eat before hitting the road to back home. We hit gold. A incredible hole in the wall Thai eatery. Simple choices to choose from on the menu. The food was unbelievable good. Even the spice cabinet was out of this world tasty. The waitress was so friendly. My brother and I were so impressed with her attentiveness. Awesome place. Will return!!!
Fantastic hole in the wall. Pad see ew was hot, fresh, and well seasoned. Great Thai iced tea. Awesome prices.
This place is legit with great friendly service. Their food is delicious and very authentic. They have a great selection and their hidden menu has some surprising options to try.
Very friendly staff and prompt services! Generally dishes are delicious too
Waitress Oil, chefs Koe and Moo provide very good authentic Thai food with excellent service! Small family style diner with tables and benches and some little tables outside on the street front. Highly recommend the spicy catfish, basil fried rice and the soup! Portions were generous and had food left to take home. This was our first time here, but will be back! Thanks Oil, Koe, and Moo! Great to have you in the community!!
Try the pompano.
the taste is ok. I ordered pad thai but the noodles is overcooked, and I order the basil and green curry but there’s only a few meat and its a lot of veggies. its not worth it for the price. I also order the $3 rice🤯🤯 what the heck?. They also didn’t have a tap water?! Would not recommend this restaurant!!!!
Excellent food. The drunken noodles and the khao Sui were flavourful. The crab Rangoon stuff was nice but the wrapper was thicker and not tasty
Great Thai food, their house special Khao soi is very good.
I love the yellow curry
It wasn't busy on a Sunday. Pad thai was excellent. Fast and attentive service.
The vegan food was delicious. They said they could make anything on the menu vegan, except for some appetizers. We got the drunken noodles, garlic sauce fried tofu and red curry which were all delicious! They even offered the choice of almond milk or coconut milk for the Thai tea!! The service was gracious and welcoming, even with my many questions and changes to my order. 😅 My husband did order something with a spice level of 0 that still came with chili pepper added to it, so maybe just emphasize "no spice" in the comments if ordering online. Fyi there was a small free parkinglot in the back that had a few spaces open at 5:30pm on a Wednesday. Highly recommend this place!!!
Found this place by looking at reviews and decided to try it out. It is everything I thought it would be and more. Food is out of this world. The Khao Soi dish was phenomenal, spring rolls were also delicious. The server did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of and was handling pick up orders too. She had a big smile on her face and was so friendly the entire time. This place is a bit small and pretty busy so if eating there just know that.
Food and service was amazing. The spot is a bit small but it seats atleast 15 ppl comfortably. 5/10 spice level Green Curry had great heat. Omg the waitress did warn me. Had that and a Lemonade and a crab rangoon for an app. Super delicious
What an awesome experience. It is off the strip, but every bit worth the travel. The food was awesome and the people were wonderful. Each one of the dishes came with a Vegan option as well. This is a small restaurant with four tables and four parking spots. So, during busy times, you may have to wait a little - but what a gem!! We will go back again.
I got the drunken noodles and spice level 10 and it was absolutely amazing.
I’m someone that can handle my spice and this really satisfied me. Also the drunken noodles and Tom yum was absolutely amazing and mind blowing. Best Thai place I ever had in America so far, considering I come from Asia it’s really good even by Asian standards.
best hole in a wall thai place. we got the basil fried rice and pad thai and hands down one of the best thai meals we've had (and we're huge thai eaters). great service and lovely chill ambiance. overall... *chefs kiss*
Food was pretty good. Took a few mins before we got served..just one person at front. Very small inside...just an eat and go place.
We had the Green Curry and Pad Thai (both with crispy pork), as well as the papaya salad and mango sticky rice. Each one was fantastic and the most authentic flavored dishes I've had since being in Thailand. If you want authentic Thai I cannot recommend this place any higher.
Average Thai food but a bit expensive for the amount of food you get.
Best thai food I've ever had. Egg rolls and drunken noodles are a must try. Do watch the spice level. I had a level 4 and it's spicy enough for a slightly burn 😊
cosy little spot. the staff are so so kind and accommodating, and the food is one of the best thai ive ever had. went here a year ago but i forgot to review!
Very delicious and large servings. The mango sticky rice is a MUST.
We ordered the chicken pad thai and drunken noodles and both meals exceeded expectations. Food was brought out fast and the experience was very pleasant. Highly recommend
We sat down to eat. She took our drink orders. I asked for just a glass of ice water. The other three in our family had drinks including two smoothies. She told me sorry we don't give water to drink. You have to buy something. The couple next to us went through the same conversation with her. The food was ok. No complaints but average. When we got the bill it had an 18% gratuity on it. Apparently you don't get to decide on a tip. Of course the bill also had a place to add additional tip of you like. The bill was $82. I wonder how they expect to stay in business with being as cheap as they were and scamming everyone with an unannounced mandatory gratuity? I know we will never be back and can't imagine a lot of others with the same decision.
Nice place cozy appetizers are 10/10 but the food it self definitely not as great as the appetizer everyone has their own opinions , i just didn't like it is all.
Very delicious. True taste of Thai dishes.
Nothing like Thai food that I have had other places. The place was small and look very Low end. I was shocked when we arrived we ordered one Soup and a plate of Vegetables. The soup was very muddy and vegetable plate with Seafood had lots of flat Spegetti. Real bed. .
This restaurant was incredible and we’ll be back again! We ordered the Thai basil stir fry with chicken - spice level 4 and Pad Kee Mao/Drunken noodles with beef - spice level 3. Wish there was more seating, but this place is a perfect for a quick casual meal. The prices are great for the amount of food and quality. Everything tasted authentic and very flavorful. The meat was so tender and juicy. The spice levels are probably spicier than most other restaurants, so I would be cautious. Our server estimated medium was around 3-4 and it was on point with my preference of spice (I like medium to medium hot). They also offer more authentic dishes so I can’t wait to come back and try more.
Great hole in the wall place. Food is amazing. Atmosphere not so much bit the food makes it worth it.
Worth checking out if you want Thai in the Downtown area. The inside is beautiful. it's not my absolute favorite, but it is really good and well worth it.
Best noddles! The price its good and the food amazing !
Very good food and service. Great selection. Place is very small so you might have to wait for a table But well worth it.
S L A P S
Very tasty 😋
We were looking at all sorts of different options for dinner and we stumbled on DE Thai and we sure are glad we did. One of the best Thai we have ever had, the spring rolls were fresh with fragrant basil and mint with shrimp and a delicious peanut sauce. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and a 7 spice, if you are wary of spices err on the side of fewer stars, as this was fairly spicy. My wife got the drunken noodles and the noodles were prepared perfectly with fresh vegetables and basil, the flavors were umami and a perfect blend of different Thai spices. We did takeout of the mango rice which was stellar, we fought over it 😂
The service was amazing, our server took excellent care of us, with some suggestions. The restaurant is small with about 6 tables, we had no wait but be advised there isn’t much room there. Very clean and cozy. We loved it, no loud music blaring, we were able to talk. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Vegas.
Don't lose your time in fancy and expensive places—the best Thai food in Nevada (and the US). Everyone should try the yellow curry; it's a must!!!
a small place but 10/10 food! i came here again 2 days after my first trip.
the first time i got the drunken noodle w a protein choice of chicken. asked for spice level of 5 outta 10, but still struggled real hard and cannot imagine a 10. i love how this noodle dish is very spice driven rather than sauce driven; i felt like every cell of mine was on fire - in the best way possible. i also really enjoyed the load of toppings / veggies in the dish. this might have been my first time seeing a thai noodle dish with the noodle-toppings ratio of 1:1.5.
the second time, i got the curry noodle with chicken (a big drumstick) with a spice level of 4. i had to finish it in 3 sittings bc the dish is so rich and spiced but every time i had it, it’s 10/10. i added veggies (tomatoes and cucumbers) into it and made it very refreshing.
overall, not-so-chatty but great service and cute vibes :)
The coconut shrimp is, without a doubt, the best appetizer you can order. The shrimp pad Thai was equally as delicious.
Would totally agree it is is the best Thai food in town. It has become a regular stop for lunch every time I am in Vegas.
I want to Give A million 🌟This Place is Amazing! The Food was so good my mom and I ate there 3days in a row during our Vegas Trip, The Spicy Catfish is delicious, the Basil Fried Rice is original! Our Server was so kind and awesome. My new favorite place for whenever I'm back to Vegas!
I’ve been ordering from here weekly because the food is just that good. As a pescatarian, there are tons of options and they will modify dishes for you. I really like how they prepare their fried tofu. Can’t get enough of their drunken noodles! The atmosphere is cozy, I like it. Service is always friendly!
This. Place. Is. Delicious.
I have a close family member that spent 4 years in Asia and a year in Thailand. He said this was the best Khaosoy he has ever had in Vegas, and he has been living here for over 30 years. I personally got the chicken salad and it was amazing. I feel like my eyes have been opened and I can see into the future like Doctor Strange. I will enjoy my powers and I hope you can too. Also, this is the definition of authentic Thai food, and overall, I 100% recommend this to anyone. PLEASE HERE IF NOT YOUR MISSING OUT.
Beef pad Thai was excellent.
