Been going here for years. They've doubled their size a few years ago. Everything is clean. Portions are good. Staff are excellent. Food is great.
From the view on Google maps, it looks like a sit down place. I guess you could say that, it's 1 table. The rest of the inside is filled with boxes. They need to refresh their paint inside, looks like a lot of old smoke in it (light brown/yellow).
As far as the service & food, it was great! Walked in, placed an order & about 10 min I had my order. During that time they had a lot of call in orders & some online. I kept hearing average wait time 30-45 min due to the size of the orders.
Prices seem a little high, but then again everything has gone up lately & I don't often eat out.
Cannot say enough good things about this place, food is just so incredible and authentic. I haven't been able to find a Pad Thai that's better, my family has been eating here for years and I still can't get enough
The dishes at this small restaurant in SoCo are packed with serious flavors. The papaya salad tasted just like the way our Thai friends made for us. We loved the sweet/sticky rice that came with the papaya salad. The Pad Kee Mao dish was delightful; the noodles were just right in its texture and chewiness. Make sure you select your levels of spiciness wisely; if you don’t eat spicy food everyday, level 2 (out of 4) could be a bit much for you.
Overall it was a good experience for us at this cozy restaurant.
If I could give this place 500 stars I would. I love Drunken Noodles! Everything is Delicious and they make your food as spicy as you want. Call ahead if you don't like to wait for them to prepare your food when you order it, but I promise it is worth the wait. Their dinning room is closed due to Covid but you can still go in to order take out.
Called regarding missing item and unfortunately no fortune in fortune cookie. Very polite no mention if credit for missing item or any reference at all just that the other fortune cookies all have fortunes in them. Not cheap but disappointed.

GO HERE THEY ARE THE BEST!!! GET THE PAD THAI!!

Had a wonderful experience tonight at Drunken Noodles! Unfortunately their website was down, but when I called the man on the phone was so kind and helped me figure out what I wanted to order. I ordered the Pho Mekong, fried wontons, and Iced Thai Tea and everything was excellent! I highly recommend!
I waited for a “to go “ order in a very clean friendly atmosphere, and in short order! Thank you!
SO spicy, be careful what you wish for.
Other than that, this place is a throwback to old school authentic Thai and I really appreciate that.
The restaurant definitely has changed. I asked for 3 spice and received no spice.
THIS IS CARRY OUT ONLY
I was looking for a place to eat via MapQuest and a plate of Pad Thai sounded delicious. I called ahead of time to see if they really didn't allow you to eat inside as some reviews mentioned. Well it's true. I would love to try their food, but I refuse to support businesses that have very stupid COVID policies.
Just a heads up, I am not sure if this place has changed owners recently but the food, specifically the Pad Thai is not what is used to be. We had two orders one with chicken and steak and one with tofu. Neither tasted like Pad Thai in the slightest. The tofu tasted burned and over all it was just yuck. I also ordered the wonton soup. The noodle to the wonton was mushy and pasty. The broth was ok. Very disappointed
Love this place for their food and great service.
Went there on a Friday evening and found a long black hair in my food. Plus my chicken was overcooked. I spent over 65 dollars and couldn't get any of it replaced, because I didn't notify them soon enough, because they close at 8:00, but I called first thing the next day. I'm so upset the way they handled the situation and I will not be eating there everything again
This is the best! I come from Thai roots as well as traveling back to Thailand and this food reminds me of my mom's cooking and her homeland. This is a family owned business and I have never had a bad experience here. The dining room isn't open and that's okay, I absolutely hate reading negative reviews around their dining area not being open. If you give 1 star because of that, get over yourself and your ego. These people are amazing and have the best food! My new favorite has been the Nam Sod (chicken salad). So tasty and spicy. You can never go wrong with their curries or drunken noodles.
Take out only. Food is good but a little pricy.
This review is for takeout. Easy ordering. Had the egg rolls and Massaman curry with chicken w medium heat. Both were delicious.
It's carry out only since covid. Food was very good. I will carry out again in the future.
I love their Pho Gai. My family also loves it here. Great food & affordable price. Never dissapoints.
Take out only. No dining services. Was disappointed that we couldn't dine in.
Hands down best Green Curry!
The food is phenomenal and the people who work there make it exceptional. I will definitely be back!
Best food, my son and I love this place
It's almost too good because I can't stop eating whatever I order. Definitely get the mini veggie egg rolls, they are the best. And try the red curry pad thai - I've never seen it on any other thai menu (of course, I usually get food in South StL or soco so I def haven't experienced all of the Thai that our city has to offer... and there are so many! Staff is always super friendly, and I have never had a bad experience here. I will say if it's the weekend or one of those days everyone and their brother order take out, you may be waiting at least an hour or longer to get your food. It's totally worth it, though.
It's a carry out joint but great food
Wish I could dine inside, take out only
Poor service, much smaller portions and higher prices and I received shrimp in my order when it was ordered with No shrimp due to a shrimp allergy. When I called, the employee only offered a credit or for me to return the dish to the restaurant for them to remake, but said it was the restaurant policy that they would not remake and give me credit for the inconvenience. Food allergies are NO Joke and this restaurant put my health in jeopardy and did nothing to fix it. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!
There were 2 hairs in my dish. The tempura was cold
Called them to tell them about it. They said the person who cooked your food doesn’t have black hair.
I would certainly give more stars if I could. We ordered for take out and the food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Lots of amazing options on the menu making this the place to go for Thai food in the area. Everyone working here was also very friendly and provided amazing service!
Delicious, but expensive.
That pad thai was too sweet and wet. I have never seen pad thai have that much juice which they should dry. My opinion don't think that is a real thai place it more Americans thai restaurant.
Usually not the type to try foreign food but fell in love with their pad Thai. and I’m vegetarian so I’m usually picky as well. Staff is super nice!
Excellent, reasonably priced Thai food. The service is extremely good - their hostess gave directions to the correct Thai restaurant to a man who had gotten mixed up, in order to help another local restaurant.
Great food and staff!
Pad See Ew is the best in the area! Great family too! Very nice people.
We called to ask about gluten free options as they are known for this, were told we needed to come in and ask in person. We drive 25 minutes to get there only to find out the dining room was closed and there is a 60 minute wait for food. They seriously wanted us to ask at the counter about GF then stand there for an hour. I don't care how good and gluten safe their food might be, that kind of horrible service doesn't deserve a second try.
We love love love their drunken pad woon sen and drunken pad thai!! It’s absolutely the best around!! Word of advice, after 4pm order ahead for your pickup time because they start to back up sometimes up to an hour due to their extreme deliciousness and popularity!!
Their yellow curry is a miracle, as is there pineapple chicken fried rice. I enjoy their cucumber salad that comes with it and adds that perfect amount of freshness to the dish. This restaurant is definitely the best thai food you will find within miles.
This place is really good! The pad thai is fantastic.
Hang out with my friends here all the time great food friendly owners
Delicious food! Fresh vegetables. Very accommodating to my dietary needs of gluten free and vegan.
Very delicious just always forget something and by the time I'm to my place it's just annoying to deal with
My mother-in-law loves Drunken Noodle.
Sooooo good!!! Reminds me of home and my family
Tastes great, not always the quickest option, mostly friendly service
Only restaurant in st louis that refuses to reopen their dining room
Good first visit. Higher priced, but good tasting food. We had the Chinese Happy Family entree, special Thai fried rice, and the spring rolls. The food was very fresh. The serving sizes were perfect for 2 people.
Always yummy
Food is GREAT. When they decide to open. They close for weeks at a time ALL the time very inconsistent with the hours of operation!
Great food
For lunch special $9.99 the portion size was too small. I ordered the drunken noodle chicken it tasted great but for 10 dollars I was hoping to be full after my lunch. It left me wanting more.
Drunken Noodles with Veggies and Drunken Noodles with Chicken are outstanding.
LOVE THIS PLACE! WILL DRIVE FROM ST CHARLES TO BUY!! I cannot find anything similar to this in my area. The drive is worth it to me!
We go there often. They are always delicious.
Surprisingly great food! That’s a little left handed, but it’s unassuming in terms of location and setup.Their Pad Prik Pao fried rice is the best fried rice I’ve ever had. Always timely too.
For the price, the food didn't reflect the quality we'd have expected from a family restaurant.
I loved my order. Very flavorful and delicious. Very covid responsible
Great food! I love the calamari tempura.
Very rude waitress.
Very rude. Our Oder got delayed 30 min. The waitress isn’t even apologetic about it. When asked about the delay she rudely said I guess you will have to give additional 30 mins from now on. It’s like they don’t even care about the customers.
I've eaten here a few times and is always very good.
Phenomenal. The food here is SO good. They were able to accommodate one of our party being gluten free and another being vegan. Truly outstanding food, huge portion sizes and excellent customer service. We will be back again soon!
One of my favorite places.. drunken pad Thai, tom yum soup!! So good.
The food was very good and the people nice.
Very good food. I will be going back to try other dishes. The curry fried rice is awesome!
We just ordered 88 dollars worth of food and it wasn’t even worth 5 dollars. Everything was dry , no sauce, found an egg shell in my drunken noodles. The combos were mediocre compared to any other place in town. I hope someone from the restaurant contacts me because I’m very disappointed!
I love this place, no matter what I have ordered, it's always tasted great. Service is good too.
Not great. I really wanted to like this place after it being recommended by a couple of people, but it just missed the mark in about every way. The drunken noodle is little more than bland spaghetti with a few chunks of pepper and carrot. There was zero flavor to it. The vegetable fried rice was exactly what I get at any Chinese carry out restaurant (and was more expensive) and my husband's dish was served on a large bed of overcooked bland egg. Overpriced and bland.
I love this place. The red curry and spring rolls are always my go to, I'd love to try other things but the curry is just so good!!
A bit of a wait (an hour) for Friday night, but I'm very happy to see them with so much business during this crazy time!
great food, awesome family.
Awesome place. The Chinese is only so-so, but it isnt their specialty. But the Thai food, especially the Pad Thai is amazing.
Staff very Nice and helpful The Food very good Vegetables very Fresh The service is great
Been eating here since 2013ish. Never ever had a bad meal. Amazing.
Good food. Don't sit next to the outside door on a cold day
Haven't had a bad dish yet
Friendly staff with nice decor.
Food was very good.
This is my favorite place for Chinese & Thai food in SoCo.
We have had Thai food all over this country and still one of our favorites!!!!!
I go here almost every weekend and I get the Thai House Noodles. The staff is great and the food is always good. I highly recommend
Great, fast service. Amazing food. Not your typical sweet & sour sauce. The sauce was thick and full of taste.
The red curry also is amazing, with 4 levels of heat to choose from. Paired with the Pad Thai they serve, perfect flavor.
Some of the BEST Thai & Chinese food I’ve ever had!!
This place is my absolute favorite place to eat. I have tried about 10 different things and every single one of them has been amazing! I love, love, love this place. I just wish they would open one closer to my house, or that Door Dash would expand their delivery radius about 2 miles. Ha!!
Little hole in the wall, but great food
I got Drunken noodles it’s awful!!! Drunken noodles is (Pad Kee Mow) but they use Lo mien noodles this’s not even close to Real Thai food! Don’t wanna come back again and it’s $12 for a very small size!!
The food was good, portions were nice. Only negative I could say is the employee out front was a tad slow and non personable. Doesn't affect the food necessarily, but being nice and courteous isn't difficult especially when you're representing the establishment.
Really good food, reasonable prices and waiter was really nice
One of my favorite Thai restaurants. Service is always awesome. Great food. They have a ton of carry out orders so be prepared to wait a bit on busy nights.
I love their yellow curry and sesame chicken. Their fried rice is good too. Love their Thai tea. I haven't tried much but I definitely recommend.
Sesame chicken is amazing
Best Thai flavors around, period.
This is a quiet little place that's a favorite of ours. Great food and the staff is always friendly!
Delicious food and a nice atmosphere! This is our favorite Thai place in South St. Louis county! Second only to "The King & I" on Kings Highway!
Best Pineapple chicken fried rice!
Used to be great. Not sure what happened. Just spent $36 for 2 bowls of bland noodle soup in a fast food venue. Save your money and go to the better restaurants in town ... Pho Grand, King and I. Cheaper and much, much better!
Always good!
Great food at a great price, the staff does a good job
Food is very good, a little pricey considering the atmosphere
The food I can wholeheartedly recommend - home cooking with flair is probably the best way to describe it!
Great place for get togethers and they are the best
The taste was amazing and plenty of food for your money
Food was delicious! It's a small place but worth checking out
The drunken noodles are phenomenal!
I always give a place 3 trys. Failed every time! No flavor and no spice in their Fried Rice. Made a point to tell them that the last time I ordered Thai Spice...it wasn't spicy! They tried...and failed. Too bad...would have been my go to place when I travel here.
Food was great reasonable prices would definitely come back.
Many of the Thai food lovers I've spoken with rave about The King And I. While The King And I is pretty good......they don't have anything on Drunken Noodles. This is by far the best curry I've had in St. Louis. I've been to many Thai restaurants around the city and county and they're good but Drunken Noodles is on another level. The drunken noodles and Pad Thai are amazing too. Everything on the menu is awesome.
This place used to be so good. This is the second time in a row that the service was terrible, it's like the server hates her job. And this time the food was not good at all. Extremely disappointed that this place has gone down hill so bad. Won't be back and cannot recommend.
Spring rolls. Thai tea. Drunken noodles with spicy chicken. Yum
Really good fo soup! Love the fo special and Thai boat soup!!! It was delicious!!!
Great food every time.
Ordered Drunken Noodles, thinking surely this would be their best dish. It looked and tasted like garlic spaghetti with some soy sauce mixed in. Not only that, asking for "as spicy as possible" yielded absolutely no heat whatsoever. There was a little black pepper on it, that's about it. Plastering it with Sriracha managed to make it palatable, but only just.
If you want delicious thai food with friendly service this is the place!
Extremely expensive. Drunken Noodles are fantastic though
My sister and I love spicy Thai. I order level 4 at Pearl cafe in Florissant and my sister Level 2. Ordered the same here and there was absolutely no heat to either of our dishes. She had the drunken chicken and I had drunken noodles with chicken. We will not be back.
Food was excellent 👍 take out
Very good Thai food.
Stood at counter for 5 minutes. No greeting. No service. Not going back.
Love their spring rolls. Can't resist.
Not the worst food, but definitely not the best Thai food I've had. Everything was just okay.
Do not know if they have a new cook , but their Shrimp Fried Rice today was terrible. It tasted only like Garlic and it was extremely spicy ( I always get a #2 in spiciness). I will never go back.
Absolutely love the food here. Great everytime.
Some of the best Chinese food I have ever had oh, and it's always consistent and never seems to fail
Great food! Everything we've had from here has been great. Had the pad kra pao and red curry chicken last night with potstickers. It was all amazing
I've been ordering here for two years and have always had good things to say. But in the last few months they have screwed up my order every other time and tonight not only was the order wrong, the containers were a sad fraction of what I normally expect from here, when confronted about this they tried to play it like what was given was the normal amount. Drunken Noodles? More like drunken staff, as they'ed have to be to think no one will notice this disgraceful drop in quality. I for one will not be going back and recommend to anyone reading this spend your money somewhere else.
Edit: Upon getting the order home I found that instead of more broth the curry had been WATERED DOWN!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Am considering getting a lawyer.
Ate there for lunch today. Very good Thai food at a reasonable price. Good sized portion, even for a lunch plate. Menu shows a large selection of meals, with both Chinese and Thai options, so I'm looking forward to future visits to try some other dishes.
Good authentic Thai food! The menu is packed full of flavor and is all at a reasonable price! Spicy food lovers will also love this place as you can order some of the food to be very hot!
Everything here is fabulous! Nice hot, spicy thai level.
