Colorful, modern spot offering sushi, hibachi fare & some Thai favorites, plus beer & wine.
This place is so tasty and their dishes come out so beautifully presented! The services is 5/5 stars! My husband loves all the variety of regular and specialty rolls and I love the variety of vegetarian sushi rolls. Not many sushi places have many options for vegetarians. This place is 5/5 for us one of our favorite!
Their hibachi is delicious as well!
Great cozy little atmosphere inside, not what I was expecting from the outside. Pretty busy when we came (Tuesday night @7) but still got seated right away.
Started with the Crab Rangoons and onion soup. Rangoons were crispy and hot. Onion soup was nice and flavorful.
Spicy crab roll was good. Nice light roll to start with. Tempura California roll was hot and delicious. Very good crisp on the outside and warm center. Everything tasted really fresh. Plating was also very elegant and appreciated.
We really enjoyed our little week night date night and will definitely be coming back to try more. Thank you so much for the delicious meal, great and attentive service, and absolutely great dinner!
We’ve been here four times and the sushi is just out of this world every time! My spouse who swore off sushi years ago loves coming here. The service is great, sushi is fabulous and is fresh each time. This is our favorite place in the area. It’s hard to find a restaurant that has consistently great food and service!
I ordered a combo fried rice, and it didn't taste like fried rice. The shrimp was overcooked, the chicken was bland and tasted weird, and the beef I couldn't swallow it, only chew it. The most bland fried rice ever... no flavor at all, for $16 I was expecting a lager portion too. I wouldn't come back or recommend it to anyone, they need a new cook or cooking lesson. Tasted like regular rice with overcooked, bland meat. You all should be ashamed of sending this out.
Stopped for lunch. The young lady serving was amazing. She never stopped smiling, knew several of the regulars and was just super pleasant. The fried rice was perfectly cooked, the 2 roll sushi lunch was delicious and the onion soup was perfect for a cold afternoon. The price was just right for the meal. Try this place as soon as you can. The walls are covered with pictures of happy customers.
Fish was warm. Food got increasingly hard to eat after my hunger subsided.
My daughter and I were there Monday and it was really good food and service!

Price was too high for lunch. It's s becoming unaffordable to eat.
Delicious… yep that’s it.
This restaurant has gone completely down hill. I really was craving sushi. My wife and I got some carryout. We ordered mostly off the specialty roll section. I'm sorry, but this was just about the worst sushi we've ever had. We had 5 sushi rolls at $61.25. That would be completely ok, if this was even ok sushi. But, it was like sushi you'd expect to pick up at a gas station (if that's a thing). I would have low expectations for sushi at a grocery store or gas station. But, I expect an actual sushi restaurant to be a bit better than that. It wasn't. It was not good at all. I gave 1 star on the atmosphere because even though it was take out this time, I still went inside and it's not really very good. I would overlook that though if it was actually ok sushi. It's out of the way for me, but next time I'll go to Sushi House. The atmosphere and sushi there has always been great. I just tried to go to a place more convenient and closer to home. Never again.

Customer service was above and beyond! This is a family favorite. Very reasonably priced.
We've gone to Mint for years and loved it! Unfortunately, they must have changed some of their recipes (the Red Thai Curry is completely different) and shrunk all their portions. The sushi was disappointing this time as well. Hopefully, it was just a bad night, and it's not the new normal. We usually love them

15 years loyal to Shelly and her Mint Sushi. 1st 4 years I worked next door and would regularly come for the lunch specials. But even after I still come here for date night. Everyone leave happy, you can always hear the compliments as they walk out. 🫶🤗
The manager was very snippy. They are not accommodating for dietary needs. She said she was too busy to make my meal and next time she would charge me double when I placed an order. Lady, there will not be a next time. I will go elsewhere.
Mint sushi was fantastic. Our server had a fantastic personality, and our food was great. My son had a hard time opening his peach soda and it became a fun moment for everyone. Big props to the MINT Sushi gang.
Will go back!
Mint is the sushi restaurant where everybody knows your name. You can tell real care has been made to make the restaurant feel friendly, and it works. It also seems very genuine, which was lovely. And did I mention the sushi was AMAZING? Seriously, right up there with much fancier places, though their serving plates could easily compete with those fancy places. The actual restaurant has a real home-town diner feel, complete with 60's avocado walls and vinyl table tops, but that comes with servers who seem genuinely excited to see you, and recognized some regulars. They have photos on the wall of hundreds of people who've celebrated their birthdays there, and I can see why. The restaurant was hopping when we went, which meant delays in the kitchen, but the food was 100%worth the wait. There was a constant flood of people picking up take-out orders, so it's never really quiet. If you're looking to impress a date with the fancy atmosphere, this isn't the right place, but if you're looking for a fun environment and fabulous food, it absolutely is. Not a lot on the menu for kiddos, but they do have some curry and fried rice. When they served us, they split each roll and mirrored it on a huge plate, so we each got half of every one, which was perfect for us, since we wanted to share! There's only one handicapped parking space, but lots of other parking. The handicap accessible section of the sidewalk is right in front of the restaurant, so easy to access. It's a little snug inside, but it would work for someone in a wheelchair. They provide both forks and plastic chopsticks when you sit down, so you don't have to ask for the other one. And did I mention the food was amazing?

Great selection of sushi & everything I ordered tasted fresh.
Favorite sushi in Lee's Summit!

Their hibachi is delicious as well!
I was very disappointed with my recent order. For $90, the portion size was unacceptably small. I ordered seeweed salad but half of what I received was just a bunch of cabbage leaves. The quality and quantity did not match the price at all. I expected much more and, unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations.
Great sushi! Consistently good!
Delicious food, great service.
Great food, beautifully plated. Clean restaurant and service was great. Definitely my new favorite sushi spot in Lees Summit!
Very Impressive! Affordable date night for sure ✨️ 💕
Order mint sushi via uber eats and was super disappointed by the quality and quantity of the food.
Charged us $21 for bland hibachi that had enough to be worth $9 max.
Didnt give my hot and sour soup despite charging us for it
My wife got sushi rolls that were comically small.
Not worth the money and didnt live up to the favorable reviews.
Absolutely Amazing....
Sushi was excellent and cannot wait to go back.
Such kind and attentive service ! They have the best sushi in town! Everyone made sure we had everything we ordered and comfortable! Highly recommend
Fire
I didn’t like it. Over priced and gross.I ordered shrimp and chicken fried rice and it was very disgusting. The rice was as stale the shrimp was overcooked and I only have 4 shrimps. The chicken was dry. I also got the Lees Summit Roll and it was not good. I will not return. I wasted my time and money at this place.
This place is amazing, the food, the attention, everything is perfect 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND ✨✨✨
My new favorite sushi joint.
Spicy crab salad wasn't as great as it normally is. But sushi was very good.
My favorite sushi spot in Lees Summit. Workers are always so nice, and the food is fantastic. We come here very often.
Best Sushi in town! My number one pick!
Superb sushi and presentation. Service is top notch!
Very good
Everything was ok, found the rolls to be very small and a bit pricier than other places. We actually went and had a rainbow roll at another sushi place afterwards to see if we were imagining things. The food was good, service was ok.
Had a small get-together with a group of friends this past weekend, and we ordered out from Mint. 🔥🔥🔥 Everything was picture perfect and tasted so good! We were so eager to dive into our food, that we forgot to take any pics of it! 😅
I love their sushi! However, not the best atmosphere so I’d recommend just getting takeout!
The best sushi in Lee's Summit
This is a fantastic dining option. The service was great, the food delicious, and the presentation was exquisite!! If we lived in Lee's Summit, we'd be there at least three times a week! Sadly, we live a few states away so we don't get that chance. But the next time we visit, we will definitely stop in.
Had a to-go order on Valentine's Day. The crew was very busy, but they were working very hard to take care of everyone! The sushi is always great, and the restaurant is very comfortable.
The hype is real.
Such beautiful sushi rolls, plating, and waitress had nice smile and warming welcome. Me and my sister will be back. 😄
This should be one of your favorite sushi options in the KC area. Excellent sushi and wonderful service!
Food was amazing, delicious and good portions. The service and the simplicity of the restaurant was awesome!!
Very small. Nice servers. I got the grill with shrimp and vegetables. Shrimp extremely chewy so I'd suggest getting a different choice. We had 8 guests and everyone else loved their food with a variety of choices. The yellow curry chicken got a thumps up as did all the other dishes. The CRAB RANGOON WAS THE BEST IVE HAD! 🦀 miso soup was repulsive to me but it's likely just my taste choices
The food was amazing and they really did a great job!
The sushi is great! The staff is really friendly. This was our 3rd time eating here. I really like it!
Best sushi in lees summit
Thee best sushi
Best sushi you'll find in Lee's Summit, possibly KC area!
I have eaten at this place for seven years and not once have I ever had a issue, from eating in to carry out everything has been perfect! The staff is always kind, understanding and does their absolute best to make sure your experience is 10/10 every time. I’ve had near everything on the menu sushi-wise and there is a reason it is my go to place after all this time. They have the best tasting sushi with the best price in and around the area! I take all my friends here and there is no place that gets a better reaction/review. I recommend their red snapper tempura and the Daikon Maki roll!
Best sushi I’ve ever had, will be returning
Tried to hot n sour soup and the egg drop soup, both yummy. Also had some California rolls and combination fried rice which were very good. Will be back.
This is a great place for date night sushi! They do an amazing job on sushi to go too.
the couple running this place tonight are very sweet. i came in close to close, which i know can be a drag, but they were so sweet about making my order and happily served me.
the food was delicious and fesh. rangoon’s were just crispy and flaky enough. great experience :)
Absolutely yum every time. Thank you.
Chill little Sushi Cafe with some of the best food and customer service I’ve had in a while. I recommend the Crab Jalapeno appetizer to start it’s amazing!
Best selection of sushi rolls in the KC area.
Excellent selection of food items amass very friendly serving staff.
Make sure you add this sushi restaurant to your list of places to eat.
Their food is beautiful and it is delicious if you don’t have any food sensitivities, but if you do, you should skip this restaurant.
They don’t know what ingredients are in their food, and they don’t care to clarify. I ordered an item and they told me they couldn’t tell me what it was made of because they had already thrown away the box. Which makes me wonder…
This is our favorite sushi place in the local area. Always good food and service
The best sushi restaurant in Lee’s Summit!
So excited I finally found an awesome, consistent sushi place!!
Friendly service with interesting and pretty food presentation. Several rolls sounded good. Will definitely return
amazing service and food. the staff is very kind and the restaurant is very comfortable
There are a lot of sushi places, but if you don’t try this one, you are really missing out the best sushi out of all the places I’ve had and the presentation is so amazing and their service could not be better. Thank you.! They have recipes that are unique.! 😁❤️
The service and food was out of this world great! Came in for an early dinner and the owner/staff were very warm and inviting! Good was prompt and delicious! We will definitely be back soon as this is our new go-to for sushi.
Salmon sashimi is flavorless, avocado was not ripe so my avocado roll was inedible. Kani salad is obviously made ahead, not fresh at all and too much panko. Really disappointed, even my water tasted like ammonia and I couldn't drink it.
More than once they have forgotten to include soy sauce in my order. Instead of taking responsibility they blame door dash and accuse the drivers of stealing the food and sauce. They also need to remember that when delivering a to go salad to put the dressing on the side instead of smothering the lettuce only salad.
The sushi is so good! Add some fried rice and some crab rangoo or spicy crab salad for a great meal!
My 12 year old twins love coming here!
Great food! It is a smaller restaurant so accommodating more than one large party at a time won't be possible. 10/10 would go back anytime!
I prefer sashimi options and Mint had plenty of these options. I enjoyed a Japan soda for the first time.
Just amazing.
Very clean restaurant, fresh and delicious food. The prices are fair considering the great quality. Great all around.
Great menu and service !!
I have heard very good things about this place and they were definitely not wrong. Everything was absolutely amazing. The house salad had a wonderfully creamy dressing that tasted so good. The tempura snapper was perfectly crispy and the fish was very flavorful. They did a stellar job with the sushi sashimi combo. The service was excellent...very friendly. The decor is very hip and modern. Will definitely be back.
had ordered here a few times without issue until recently, after eating their miso soup the next day i had food poisoning
Great 🍣
Solid sushi spot. Great for carry out.
Good sushi for Missouri. The wait staff was quick and friendly and gave us free sugar donuts after the meal.
Good sushi at a good price. Order ahead for take out, orders can take a bit longer during meal hours. One of ours favs for lees summit
The food here is phenomenal! All the plated dishes are gorgeous! I will definitely keep coming back!
So very good. Great people and amazing food!
Always make big orders, and theyre always right. Food always fresh. Sushi always perfect. My favorite sushi joint
I've had my share of sushi,,,thus one I would like to forget
The absolute best Sushi you will ever have. The staff are so friendly and helpful!
I do not recommend them for sushi, was not good . Acted like my debit card wasnt mine
Some of the best Sushi I’ve ever had!
Friendly staff and good sushi. Very clean and inviting atmosphere
Best sushi in the area! Absolutely delicious and so many to choose from! They were also so friendly and knowledgeable about the differences between each roll. We have been looking for a sushi place closer to us for such a long time because our favorite is North of the river. Also the prices were great and the plate presentation was beautiful! 10/10 Highly Recommend!!
Pretty good for takeout hibachi. We had a chicken hibachi meal and filet hibachi meal. Both had good flavor and veggies and rice were decent too. It just didn’t wow us. Miso soup was good. We did get a crazy monkey roll for an appetizer and it was just ok. Might go back to try different things, but it did seem pretty pricey for the quality.
