This is a good dining place with quality food. I had ordered chicken skewers which was really tasty and side peanut sauce. Next i had the glass noodles which was so much that two of us were more than full. There were a lot of veggies and wholesome meal. There is free parking all around the restro.

Me and Besties had a girl's night 🌉. We were seated quickly which was great because I was hungry lol, the waitress was very nice and took our orders right away. I got the Thai house sampler for an appetizer, and I got the Basil fried rice shrimp added to it and got it Hot. When I say the proportion size was big it was really big which was great and the Basil fried rice was hot but had a really great tasting flavor, it was delicious and they offered plenty of different sauces to try with your food. Overall I love the food and atmosphere and service I would definitely come back again to hear some more live music 🎶.

Thai food is my favorite. They did well with the red curry and had generous portions. You'll be leaving with yummy leftovers. The interior of the restaurant was elegant, which was surprising based on the location in a strip mall. I prefer some other local Thai locations, but would not be upset with coming back.

We really enjoyed dining at the Thai House Restaurant. One of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to across the US. The food was delicious and the service was super quick and the taste was amazing.
We each ordered a different dish and every one of us enjoyed our choice. We all asked for medium spice - mine was not as spicy but the others were a little on the spicier side so beware of the spice level.

Plenty of food options for vegetarians and the place was nice enough to accommodate our food habits by substituting fish sauce with vegan sauce. Great customer service and very friendly staff and extremely attentive to customers - checked with us multiple times during our dine in.

The atmosphere was simply great - tons of culture with statues, paintings and other art - hopefully they are all Thai 😁.

extremely disappointed with this entire place. Ordered Pad thai and it was sooo dry and barely any flavor. The Beef Pho i was really looking forwards to but the beef was extremely hard to chew and absolutely no seasoning. tasted like nothing. the broth was extremely bland as well tasted like pure beef broth.

I love Thai food, but that just means that I always measure takeout against some of the best Thai restaurants in the country. This was by far one of the best Thai dinners I have ever had.

My husband and I were both craving red curry, so it’s the only dinner we’ve tried. However, it was some of the best red curry I’ve ever tasted.

We also tried the crispy tofu and crab rangoons. Both were good. The crispy tofu was supposed to be served with crushed peanut sauce and we didn’t get that. It’s fine, because it was still good with the sweet and sour sauce.

The mango sticky rice was also delicious.

We moved back to KC in December and Thai House will be going on our rotation!

Do NOT order pickup from here. They said it would take 15-20 minute and I have now been waiting over an hour. There are 12 people standing here waiting for their orders. Save your time and money.

I’ve been coming to Thai House for many years. I always get the seafood fried rice yellow curry. They use to give you enough seafood to suffice. I’ve noticed that now they started putting that imitation crab in. I got an order last night and I kid you not it only had 1 scallop, 3 shrimp and about 5 or 6 of those rubbery, nasty imitation crab!!! They could use real crab for the amount they charge. The rice tasted weird like old oil. This is the last time I’ll ever eat there. Times are too hard to be ripped off by companies who charge money for what they don’t even have in the meal. I didn’t even eat my meal, I threw it out and yea it was that bad.

After 3 to 4 times over the past few years, I have to give up on their pad Thai. Either with shrimp or chicken; the amount of meat is very low. About 97 per cent noodles and 3 per cent meat. With shrimp it's 3 pieces and chicken, maybe 4. I won't try again.1/8/25 once again I ordered chicken pad Thai and same result: barely any chicken: what a waste of money: get more chicken with 3 chicken nuggets.

We waited an hour and a half for a carryout order. The lady kept telling us ‘soon’ while then prioritizing door dash and other food delivery orders. This was our first experience with Thai House and we will not be back after the extremely poor service.

I had an awful experience at this restaurant. The chicken fried rice was bland and overcooked, with little flavor or seasoning. The crab rangoon was soggy, and the filling lacked any real taste. On top of that, the service was incredibly slow. I waited far too long for my meal, and when I asked the receptionist about the delay, she was rude and unhelpful. Definitely not coming back.

One of me and my husband’s favorite places to eat. We come here or get take out a lot. My husband is vegan and has a nightshade allergy and they are very good about following that for him. Delicious and generous portions, always served hot! I’ve never had anything bad here.

One of my favorote Thai restaurants in the area. Food is always excellent.

I love their crab Rangoon, hot & sour soup and Pad Thai, and the portions are abundant, enough for, at least, two people! I've ordered takeout several times from this restaurant. Their food is competitively priced. I am disappointed, though, in the meat in chicken Pad Thai and pork Pad Thai. The meat is dry and somewhat chewy every time. I don't know if they buy it precooked, but I've noticed the same issue sometimes when ordering from other Asian restaurants. Other than that, I love this restaurant. I will definitely be going back.

Outstanding food service and price. I've seen the same 2 servers here each time I've come and they always show up promptly, refill drinks quickly and ask me if i need anything within a minute of me realizing I want something... if not before.

Hello, I have been coming to the Holmes location for over a decade and have always loved the food. Recently the crust for the crab rangoons changed and it's not nearly as good as the previous version. I was so nice and crispy before.

The food is amazing the place is amazing it's so great. The only downside is that it takes a while for the food to be done other than that I would choose this over any other restaurant

I went here for lunch today after looking at the menu online. I ordered pad Thai expecting to be charged the lunch menu price but when I got the bill each dish was more than what the menu said. The pad Thai was too sweet and there was no spice at all. The restaurant in general is outdated and not well kept.

I have been coming here since a child, and now an adult the last few times I’ve come here on my lunch the service is horrible and only this one waitress her attitude is absolutely disgusting and truly to the point I don’t even want to return and to think she’s the face of the restaurant as you walk in

You are able to order dishes with no MSG which is amazing, the food is served quickly and the staff is super friendly.

This place operates as Phuket I’m Vegan online. The food can be good but the quality is all over the place. Ingredients are often missing or cooked incorrectly. There’s also often bits of egg or meat in the dishes that you just have to pick out to throw out the whole dish. The staff is rude and unhelpful, they tell you to just get a refund from DoorDash over fixing the issue. Do not order from this place ever! It’s to be avoided no matter what name they go by.

Whenever I'm on the south side of town for work I get the crab fried rice. It's my favorite fried rice of any place I've eaten in the area

I ordered online and arrived too early. The staff made every effort to make sure my order was being prepared. While I was waiting I did look around and it looks like a nice place to dine in. I would recommend this place.

I've only order online twice. Each time the food was ready when I arrived and very delicious. This may become my new favorite place!

The food was still HOT when I got home to Lawrence- it's always a pretty healthy wait time no matter when u go or how ahead of time u place your order but they stay busy and to me that says EVERYTHING about a restaurant! I get a variety of things from menu usually always have noodles- the options for meat and seafood much higher grade than your typical Asian spots in KC- Dishes are unique and you can Customize meals in terms of meats type of carb or veg plus many differe t sauces and spice levels BEWARE that the options here QUICKLY HEAT UP! Just the MILDLY spicy will knock your socks off! We had to combine the spicy noodles with white rice just to get a bite down!!!! Definitely Reccomend if you are in S. KC

Terrible Service. The workers are very rude. I use to go all the time until you have a complaint about something they messed up. They don’t like to acknowledge when they have messed up your order and are not willing to compensate or come to resolve in order to keep customer satisfied. You are made to feel as if you did something wrong. They actually accused me of stealing the shrimp out of my shrimpless shrimp fried rice that I even added 6 dollar extra shrimp for. :(( Won’t be going back there.

this place has some of the best curry i’ve had. i ordered the pineapple curry and asked for it to be extra spicy, which they actually did! cannot recommend this place enough.

We moved here recently from Seattle and found ourselves craving Thai and Pho. This place actually delivers on both! We had the panang curry and beef noodle soup. Excellent flavor and great value.

Very disappointed. Crispy spicy Thai wings were anything but spicy they had no flavor or spice at all same with noodles ordered dish was mostly noodles all stuck together. A brown sauce that had no flavor at all. Asked for medium spice and again nothing. I think a peice of paper might have more spice. For a $50 meal it sucked.

I called twice and both times after they answered my question, they just rudely hungup. I should of known better. I heard this was a good restaurant. I ordered vegetable spring rolls, I am 100% vegan and immediately after swallowing the chicken, I literally threw it up.
I called to advised them, I was told to call umber eats. There wasn't a problem with the delivery, The delivery was right on spot. My friends crab woontons were over-cooked. What a waste of money for something I can't eat. I'm scared to look at my Vegetable curry. The receipt says Vegetable, not sure what I will find in it.
Don't always believe what you hear. Not everyone has the same taste pallets or pays attention to what you order. Unfortunately I choose not to eat hospital food and I am paying the cost. Hospital food might not be too bad right now. They were not willing to budge, no apology, let me make it over, nothing.

I love the food here... but they offer both dinner and lunch items all day. But if you order the more expensive dinner item it seems they will always send the lunch item. It's happened to me three times now. Once I was able to get refunded... last time uber eats automatically gave me a $5 credit despite it being for two items and a $12 difference.

Amazing food!

Great food but the service... Awful. We are nice people for the most part and had literally not done or said anything when the disrespect started. She literally got mad we were not ready to order when we sat down then walked away quickly and wouldn't even take a drink order. We never responded to the disrespect the lady serving us gave but I don't think I've ever felt more hated without saying or doing anything. When she brought us food or drinks she slammed it on the table. It's like the waitress felt we were unimportant while also annoyed with our very existence. People shouldn't have to put up with someone mean and meanacing when they haven't said or done anything. I have been going here for years but... That's so bad I don't know if we can go back. This was like 530 on Tuesday August 6th it wasn't even mildly busy. Again food was great and this was a fairly isolated incident. They are never the most welcoming but this was past that and was just downright nasty. Side note the lady who usually seats us and the lady who refilled our water once are nice.

Every single time and I’m not kidding, this place is rude, late, and destructive with how they package food. I’m working with clients that are corporations, they like the food to be somewhat together, and it never is here. Wouldn’t be a big deal by myself and coworkers through the service all have the same complaints against treatment as caterers, delivery services. Had strange experiences personally here years ago, but it was a weird hectic holiday almost a decade ago. Point is food isn’t half bad, but everything that would make this place a staple is weighed down by pretty strange service.

The take out orders… woof. I ordered online at their website and showed up for pick up at the estimated completion time. There were at least 15 delivery drivers huddled in the entry way waiting for orders from different delivery systems. The poor staff was running around frantically trying to manage all of the orders and tempers were high for everyone - delivery drivers and staff. I was told my order would be 10 more minutes so we waited outside. The number of people in and out to pick up orders was truly insane, but explains why they told me it was going to be another 15 minutes when I went back to the counter after first 10 minutes. With that much chaos, it’s not a surprise that half of our food was cold while the other was hot and not to mention that it was all slapped together and thrown haphazardly in the bag. My curry was clearly cooked with another because it had meat and tofu, and I also found hair in it. The apps and the soup were good though, regardless of appearance.

I really hope the restaurant management reconsiders how many delivery services they’re using or hires more staff to support the large number of orders because it’s directly impacting the experience. I’d also recommend they reevaluate their entryway since it was packed with 15-25 people over the entire 30 minutes I was waiting for food.

Love that they throw in a free order of crab rangoon with every order over $15. Very reasonable prices for big portions!

I’ve gone here a few times. There fried rice is very good as well as the pho. I’ve also really enjoyed the crab Rangoon and spring rolls and their red Thai basil is delicious. I really haven’t ordered anything that I haven’t liked.

I will begin with the positives: the food came to the table quickly and the first dish I ordered was too spicy and not to my liking and I appreciate the staff accommodating my request to change my order. The negatives: the staff did not seem welcoming or pleased to have the group I was with, dine in. The staff seemed prejudice in my opinion and this is based on how they were treating us (we are all black women) during our time in the restaurant. I got the same feeling as I do when I keep seeing the same store attendant pop up in whatever aisle I’m in at the store 😒 We weren’t loud, or making obscene requests, we simply dined in and then paid for our orders. I personally will not be returning. I don’t want to go anywhere where I feel unwelcome.

I absolutely love this place! The food is excellent, the service is phenomenal. And I absolutely love the guy that sings in the front. The only reason I took away one star is because of the fact that in the front there is not enough room for people to stand when they are trying to order their food. But everything else about this place is absolutely wonderful.

The Pho and spring rolls with shrimp were just fabulous! They looked so great that we just dug in and it was a while before I came up for air and realized I forgot to take a photo. Our service was terrific. The bowls are huge as are the appetizers. You won't leave hungry.

Update: Today I had the Sexy Red Duck. I have a new favorite meal, outstanding!!! The coconut boba tea is also fantastic.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. They serve a lot of the same menu as their upscale sister restaurant Bamboo Penny's at half the price while maintaining almost the same quality. Sure the area is a bit rundown but they are spot on.

We're go enjoy a meal at Thai House at least a couple times a month & it is fantastic every time. By far our favorite Thai restaurant. They are even certified for authenticity & service by the Royal Thai Government!

I got the garlic lover with tofu and a Thai iced tea. Every part of my meal was delicious and the service was great. Prices are very reasonable. They were able to adjust my order to be vegan.

This is the 2nd time I've ordered from here and I'm not sure how this place got past a 2 star review in the first place. This is the worst asian food I have ever had, I've had better dog food at a gas station in Joplin, Missouri. The pad thai was so bad I can't find words to even describe it. The crab ragoon was smashed and look they were dropped off of the empire state building, the duplings were over cooked and like rubber qith rock hard edges. There wasn't any hot mustard,fortune cookie, and the side sauces were only half filled. Not worth the 40.00 dollars. My dog won't even eat it, total garbage!

This place is awesome. The outside doesn't look like much but the inside is really nice. All of the waitresses are really nice and the food is good.

Great spot. Cool statues and models to look at. Good prices. Good service. Great food. Can't recommend enough.

Jacob Leiker made a RESERVATION for 6pm on Sat 3-16, it was not acknowledged when they arrived. Rude staff, food was not good, drinks were horrible. My son was so embarrassed that he brought all his friends there. They often get together & head for the Thai House, I doubt that happens again. its too bad when you see good restaurants go downhill. I told him he should have complained to mgmt, I sure would have 😡

Ordered from Doordash at 5:49pm. The restaurant was further away than I thought, so I immediately went to cancel, but the restaurant automatically accepted the order so even a few seconds after odering, i couldnt cancel, whatever, I wasn't too mad. This is where I get really angry. My doordasher showed up to the restaurant 50 minutes later, and my food still wasn't done. It is now 6:48, and he just started heading my way. So they have an auto-accept, so you can't cancel, but then they don't even make your food right away. Ridiculous. Stop doing that

Just returned from dinner at Thai House. Appetizer calamari was horrible. Huge pieces of squid - tough and impossible to chew. Only thing on the plate fit to eat was the sauce. Spicy Garlic Shrimp was far from spicy, and the vegetables were COLD. Combination Pho was very bland and the chicken and beef had no flavor whatsoever. When we were presented with the check, I noticed that it indicated "No Spice." The waitress never asked the spice level we wanted, and didn't return to our table to ask if everything was okay the entire time we were there. We have traveled in Thailand many times - this is not authentic Thai food.

When we first walked in, the front entrance is filthy dirty, the glass doors, etc... 😒 the interior not bad...a little worn. Food was ok...definitely not fresh...I had the duck,,,The Crab Rangoon was awful...Will not go back

Uber eats is trash never order!

I’ve frequented this restaurant since early 2012, and have been so bummed to see the quality of both the food and service deteriorate over the last couple years.

Management is completely unwilling to take responsibility for food made wrong on take-out orders and demand that their customers drive back with their uneaten food to be offered any sort of compensation.

8/10 times, they’ve been getting our takeout orders just WRONG. Spice added to “no spice” fried rice. Pho being served with tough as jerky meat and salty-as-the-sea broth. Pad thai overcooked and mushy like it had been cooked and recooked.

After nearly 3 consecutive times of just brushing it off and tossing the food out, I FINALLY had had enough and called them to see if they could make it right. And…NOTHING. They wanted me to repackage all the food and drive it the whole 15min drive back to get any sort of recompense.

It’s a waste of money and time. Enough is enough.

Me and my daughter for years had thought about stopping by and so I did and I regretted it nothing was authentic no flavor & not enough meat in their menu of the food just a waste of time and money spent.

I told her that my lunch break was over so I couldn’t bring it back. She told me that I could bring it back after I got off of work. This is the worse way to conduct business!!!

The chicken pad thai is legit. I like how they wrap to go orders in cerin wrap to maximize freshness when you get it back home. I risked it and went with the hottest level of spice and it was too hot to figure. Good thing I'm a gluten for punishment! Very delicious!

Food is good, but the the workers not so much. Not to mention the knats and flies hovering around the food while your trying to eat makes it not a pleasant experience.

That pho was bomb as hell. Best food I have had in a long time. Left my plate empty. Those chefs are back there creating masterpieces 🙏🏼

Food is really good. The fried rice and spring rolls with the peanut sauce are my favorite. The atmosphere was quiet which I enjoyed, it’s a large restaurant but it’s not always busy during the week day.

We ordered several meals for take out. Everything was as ordered and delicious. The Red Curry and Pad Thai were very good.

Most lunch meals were $11-$13, but full portions and very good.

Okay. Ordered takeout and didn't get one of our entrees. Everything was very sweet. Very much seemed adjusted for a Midwest palate.

The servers wear masks, which is very considerate. Great place to relax and visit.

The absolute worst calamari I’ve ever had! I’ve had tough calamari before but the stuff here was like chewy a piece of rubber. The crab Rangoon had very little filling and were only tolerable and the red sauce was extremely watered down. I wouldn’t suggest this restaurant to anyone.

Picked up food from here and it was all incredible! Great portions and the super tasty. The curry was spot on and the Pad Sea Eaw was delicious!!!

I visited for the first time recently and enjoyed my visit immensely. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and my family and I really enjoyed ourselves in the amazing atmosphere.
