Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop is a fantastic find, especially for anyone with gluten sensitivities! They have a wonderful selection of gluten-free options that don’t compromise on flavor. The dishes are always fresh, vibrant, and packed with authentic Thai spices. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about gluten-free choices, which makes the dining experience even better. Whether you're craving noodles, curry, or something else, Lulu's always delivers amazing food with a great variety of options for everyone. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №2

Unreasonably good!!!!! Pad thai and drunken noodles for the win

Diner Review №3

It saddens me to write this about Lulu's. They've been great for so long. Unfortunately the food wasn't very good. All of us that ordered ended up tossing the food out.

Diner Review №4

This place is fun atmosphere is great. How can you go wrong playing cartoons on TV, lol! Crab rangoon was great, not like the typically thick wontons these were thin. Had chicken lettuce wrap, how can you go wrong. Didn't care for the drunken noodles felt like there was too many veggies, and the taste was a little different than what I'm used to. I would revisit there was so much to try that looked so good. Wide verity of beverages from Boba to Alcohol.

Diner Review №5

Very allergen friendly and great staff! Best thai food in the crossroads!

Diner Review №6

I am from Thai and I usually go around and taste Thai food. Lu Lu’s has a good Thai good but a little bit sweeter.

Diner Review №7

I took the vegetarian fried rice and it was not good at all. There were fruit flies on the table.

Diner Review №8

Portions are very off, I always felt hungry still after the pad thai and now I see why after getting something different. Our dishes cost the same at 19 dollars but the amount of the chicken and shrimp coconut curry was way more. Still had an entire bowl to take home. For the price of the pad thai it should be a larger portion but it's still very yummy. At traditional thai place I've seen it cheaper and with more food. Also there should be some sort of appetizer or soup that comes with the meal. We paid 11 dollars for spring rolls that weren't cooked at all or very appetizing. We'll be back but I think some changes to the menu/portions would make it lots nicer. Total was 58 dollars for 2 people, not including the tip

Diner Review №9

The phrase “Flavours come alive” was probably coined here.

Everything was served warm and flavourful. Hospitality was good. Place had great vibes.

All in all a great experience.

Diner Review №10

Food was good but that's it.
We asked for no added cilantro on a soup and the soup had a bunch on top.

We couldn't tell the server as she didn't even drop the food off, and never checked up to see how we were liking the food. The soup also had a strong cilantro base that we weren't aware of, which would have been nice if the server had told us that. We're one of those people who have the cilantro gene and while we work around it, it's nice to be able to enjoy the food.

Since she never came to our table we also never got any drink refills. Keep in mind we're chill, somewhat introverted people, so it's not like we were rude or scared her away or anything.

She then drops of the check and leaves immediately, without asking if we needed boxes for food (we did, we went up and got it ourselves.) She takes the check, processes it, comes back and then slightly throws/slings the receipts (in their little holder) at us and leaves. Like why so harsh, wtf??

This was bottom of the barrel service, if you could even call it that. I don't expect much, and having worked in the service industry myself, I get it but come on.

Diner Review №11

Mushroom Curry was fire!

Diner Review №12

Oh my word what a lovely place! Excellent pad Thai, dumplings, and wings. Don't miss the lunch specials and happy hour.

Diner Review №13

Always delicious! Never misses

Diner Review №14

Second time there. Always a treat. Gotta say though, the three coconut shrimp I got on the first coarse were the scrawniest, malnourished shrimp I've ever had.

Diner Review №15

Diner Review №16

Love the roomy booths and atmosphere, my rule for Thai has become start with mild and work your way up. Go-to order: their crab rangoons, drunken noodles, and a cardamom lemonade. Get one, I’ve never found anything like the cardamom lemonade anywhere else! Only downside of the Crossroads is the parking will challenge your sanity, but make the stop!

Diner Review №17

Joseph delivers TREMENDOUS customer service! He was extremely busy yet took the time to come over and place my order. He was attentive throughout my entire dining experience and made me feel very welcomed! Food was terrific as well! I will be back!

Diner Review №18

I was so excited to try this place based off of the reviews, but was honestly disappointed and have had much better.
Service was severely lacking and our waitress never introduced herself, never took our drink order, and when I ordered off the lunch menu, on a Sunday, she failed to tell us they only honor those deals during weekdays. She never checked on us after we received our food and the only time we saw her again was when she brought the check. I had to ask the lady who brought out our food about the lunch special and not receiving the included crab Rangoon and she was the one who let us know it’s not offered on Sundays.
The food: I ordered the spicy beef jantaboon (medium spicy) and it had zero spice and honestly didn’t have much flavor at all. Basically just noodles, cilantro, and sliced jalapeños. I added Siracha and soy sauce to give it a little “oomph”, but the base sauce could be improved upon.
My wife ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was “just ok”. Nothing special, lacking sauce/flavor, and we’ve had better nearly everywhere else we’ve been.
The good: the kids Pad Thai was generously portioned.
Our check was $50 and for the lack of flavor and subpar service I wouldn’t come back.

Diner Review №19

We went during Restaurant Week. The food was so amazing. We got drinks and pork wontons off the Happy Hour menu and then did the RW menu. Everything was so delicious. The service was terrific, too. Joseph at the front was friendly and even stopped by our table. MacKenzie was our server, and she was wonderful. We will definitely be coming back!

Diner Review №20

Diner Review №21

Always great food. Definitely recommend Lulu's if you're in the area.

Diner Review №22

My wife and I eat here once a month for date-night. Legit good and original food, as spicy as you’re willing to handle.

Diner Review №23

Worst drunken noodles I have ever eaten! Will never eat from there again!!!

Diner Review №24

The atmosphere is akin to a garage with concrete floors. Beef satay was very disappointing as it lacked peanut sauce and should have been called beef on a stick without peanut sauce. The pad se ew was more enjoyable with lots of noodles and meat but it was somewhat dry and lacking a good sauce. Service was very good with no concerns.

Diner Review №25

Julian provided xceptional service and the recommendation of Thai Cashew Chicken was spot on. The vegetables were crisp, the chicken seasoned well, and an adequate spice level. The restaurant was clean, naturally lit, and the atmospher was casual and calm!

Great meal, casual atmospher, and exceptional service ☺️😉

Diner Review №26

Diner Review №27

The ONLY worthy pad Thai in KC. Their house salad, crab Rangoon and Thai cashew chicken was top tier, as always. This place never disappoints.

Diner Review №28

So this was my first time being inside of Lulu's very eclectic very poised and rustic loved it. Took a Birthday Lady 🎈 and she suggested this. So I opted for the mild sticky wings crab rangoon crab fried rice with shrimp and drunken noodles with shrimp really really good. I also enjoyed the crispy garlic and the jalapeno peppers that is already on the table very spicy and the garlic was a nice touch. The wings were done perfectly nice sauce my drunken noodles were cooked perfectly everything was fresh nice and hot crab rangoons was not doughy very clean and crisp and the crab fried rice with shrimp was delectable I will be back. I will say they need to do better with the parking situation that sucked terribly very inconvenient I know I'm not the only one.

Diner Review №29

Lulu's has been a favorite of mine for many years. I love having a place I can take visitors to, and recommend to friends traveling to the city. It never disappoints! My usual order is the Rainbow Peanut Noodles with pork! 🔥 Food and staff are the BEST!!

Diner Review №30

emily was an excellent server, she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and patient with me. i really enjoyed my experience at lulus!

Diner Review №31

Diner Review №32

Me and my boyfriend had date night at the Overland Park location. We had a fantastic time out on their Christmas igloos… so much fun and such a unique experience. Their holiday cocktails were delicious! If you’re trying to look for some fun unique experiences with family and friends, I recommend the holiday igloos they have this season.

Diner Review №33

Em...was sooo great we visited the other day...even though it was a crazy Saturday...you can't go wrong EVER!

Diner Review №34

The food was very bland and the pad Thai was white???? Never seen that in my life and it tasted like the whisper of pad Thai and my crushed dreams. The dumplings were good though.

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

Absolutely fantastic Thai restaurant with a wonderful menu! The ambiance, generous food portions, and service were all top-notch. My server, Taylor, was a delight—made great recommendations and was so much fun to chat with. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I can't wait to return next time I'm in town!

Diner Review №37

Food is always A++ is my book. Love the fountain and Buddha when you first walk in. Calamari is unmatched, been searching -for years- no other can compare!!!

Diner Review №38

Diner Review №39

The food quality was absolutely phenomenal. Good presentation and layers of flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant. Their tiger lily mixed drink was to die for. My new favorite Thai food place.

Diner Review №40

All around wonderful experience.

Diner Review №41

My goto for Thai food. Everyone is always so nice. I love that they have Gluten-free options. I love the wings and fried rice. Those are my goto when I go there. I've never had an issue with cross-contamination which tells me they are pretty careful we prepping my meal.

Diner Review №42

Very disappointed in this place. After hearing good things, I received my order and it was the most bland Pad Thai I have ever seen. Immediately ordered from a different restaurant.

Diner Review №43

The food is out of this world fantastic! I was served by a wonderfully fun and knowledgeable wait staff, Toffee, and an incredible server, Matt! Recommendations were spot-on and I don't know how food can be served so quickly and deliciously! I will return soon!

Diner Review №44

It was ok. Not that impressed. Wasn't bad at all, I was just hoping it would be better.

Diner Review №45

Shrimp Pad Thai was delicious as well as the veggie spring roll. I would eat here again, no doubt

Diner Review №46

Absolutely amazing Thai food and they do well if you are gluten free! Celiac here and have not had any issues so far, the curry is SO good

Diner Review №47

Ordered the Pad Thai and the drunken noodles to go. The food was completely favorless and tasted like buttered noodles. I walked back to the restaurant for a refund. Lots of better options in the area.

Diner Review №48

This is shaping up quickly to be my favorite Thai place in Kansas City. I got takeout of the pad thai, and it was delicious. The service was friendly, and the pickup was fast and easy. I'll be back.

Diner Review №49

The food here was great. We had the Lulu's sampler appetizer, Chicken Pad Thai and Spicy Beef Jantaboon. We had never been and were pleased with our experience. It seems like this is an incredibly popular place for take out orders as it was a steady flow and f folks the whole thing me. I did ask for my beef to be "hot" on the spice chart and I feel like it really was probably more of a medium level, regardless it was delicious. The portion size was good but definitely wasn't one id often have any leftovers of. We didn't have any drinks or cocktails this go round but would like to try a couple when we go back. I'd recommend this to friends and family for sure.

The space itself is pretty fun and unique as well with plants and bright colors throughout and well as anime playing on the TV behind the bar.

Clean restrooms were also available for use and overall the cleanliness was good.

Diner Review №50

Went to the wrong location paid left my wallet and noticed at the correct location. Manager and server made all the calls to get my wallet secured for pickup!!!

Diner Review №51

The BEST Thai food in KC. You can't go wrong with anything. Everything tastes super fresh and full of flavor. Great place to visit if you like Thai food or are trying it for the first time.

Diner Review №52

It's casual and the staff is helpful across the menu. I have never had any bad here and I think I eaten all but 3 items from the menu. Spice levels can be adjusted to your taste so that's a plus bc me & friends have different opinions of the factor. I recommend Lulu's

Diner Review №53

Diner Review №54

Great spot for a quick bite to eat or a romantic spot

Diner Review №55

Good Pad Thai. Someplace to try at least once. Keto pad Thai option available.

Diner Review №56

The service was good but the food was mediocre. We ordered drunken noodles which were too sweet. They remade our for us but this time they were not sweet but flavorless. Maybe their sweet sauce had all the flavor?

Diner Review №57

Love the lettuce wraps and fresh spring rolls!

Diner Review №58

As a half-Thai patron ai thought the food was amazing!

Diner Review №59

Soups were fairly good. I’ve had much better Thai flavored soups. Dumplings were great. Yellow dipping sauce was very tasty. Spicy steak noodle lunch special was served steaming hot and was tasty. Low carb kebab platter was good but shrimp and beef were bland, whereas the chicken was tender and had more flavor. Good first visit, but probably will try other places instead of return.

Diner Review №60

I ordered takeout through Uber Eats. The food was not as advertised. Little to no meat, vegetables were old and soggy, and the dish had zero flavor. We ordered Medium and Hot Pad Thai and there was no spice at all.

I won’t be ordering from or visiting this establishment again.

Diner Review №61

Great food & great outdoor space. Service was quick and friendly! Looking forward to putting this in my eating out rotation.

Diner Review №62

Diner Review №63

Diner Review №64

This restaurant had a very friendly atmosphere and staff. The food was decent, I got the drunken noodles and they didn’t really have much sauce on them, which isn’t what I’m used to. My boyfriend got the Thai cashew chicken and said it was good. The appetizer sampler had some good things (dumplings) but the spring rolls and crab rangoons didn’t quite hit the mark.

Diner Review №65

Better version of Thai Noodle, food is good but not fancy or delicious. Atmosphere is great, parking could be a pain unless u pay $5 to the garage

Diner Review №66

Lunch specials is perfect size for quickies

Diner Review №67

Delicious food! And energy, really enjoyed Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop.

Diner Review №68

Great food and service. Mackenzie was our waitress and was awesome. She knew the menu and was able to guide my wife and I thru the menu, which me being Vegan and wife a Celiac isn't easy. Only downer was the music this visit was a bit loud and hardcore for us. This is not typical as my wife and I are common diners.

Diner Review №69

Diner Review №70

Food and service were great as usual but the music they were playing was awful and just seemed really strange vs the typical ambiance here.

Diner Review №71

Amazing! Got the sampler which was more than enough food and then the pad Thai was amazing. Will be going back! They even have low-carb options for their food.

Diner Review №72

The atmosphere was decent. The food was okay.

Diner Review №73

Thank you Johnny for making my time at LuLu’s Thai noodle shop. Your professionalism and kindness. Made me smile. I can tell you’re a hardworking employee and LuLu’s must be happy they hired you. Normally I show a picture of the person but, if you live in the area then you must already know him.

Diner Review №74

Diner Review №75

I hadn't eaten there in a while and the food was amazing and the service was excellent

Diner Review №76

Diner Review №77

Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop is one of those places that doesn’t quite stand out. The food is okay—nothing offensive, but nothing remarkable either. The dishes are decent and satisfy a craving, but there’s nothing that would make me want to return.

The atmosphere is casual and service is fine, but overall, the experience was forgettable. It’s not bad, but it also doesn’t offer anything special that would make it worth coming back.

Every items is so good!!! I love the crab fried rice so much! The pad thai is amazing amd fresh!

Diner Review №82

The food was amazing!! The staff was outstanding.

Diner Review №83

Went for happy hour with a few friends. They have an extended happy hour if you sit at the bar, which is nice when you get off work late. The service was quick for there being only one bartender and they were taking care of multiple tables. All the food was delicious and came out quick. The cocktails we ordered were tasty as well!

Diner Review №84

The food was amazing
The music was cheeks

Diner Review №85

Amazing food! Decorations are nice and eye-catching as well. There is some variety in food and spice level for each dish. Overall, the food was amazing, and they have the best crab rangoons that I have tasted in the metro area!

Diner Review №86

Diner Review №87

The whole family loves Lulu's! I love all the plant-based options. We can all try new things on every visit and they never disappoint! Delicious!

Diner Review №88

It was my first time here and it was very good! The noodles were more on the al dente side which is what I prefer anyways! Flavor was bursting and everything was delicious! I highly recommend coming here!
tip for bikers: we parked right at the front entrance (where their outdoor seating is) and there is a tad bit of gravel there so watch out!

Diner Review №89

The food and staff were great. Parking is an issue. I would recommend making a reservation.

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

Way more flavor than something like Bamboo Penny's. Reviews about bland flavor are confusing. You can actually get spicy here, so be careful!

Diner Review №92

Our server was Mackenzie. She was absolutely amazing. She gave great recommendations, checked on us throughout our meal, and was extremely sweet. The food was absolutely delicious and my husband and I were very impressed by the decor, ambiance, food, prices, and service. Definitely adding Lulu's to our date night rotation. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Diner Review №93

Good massuman curry, in a cool location (peep Made Mobb while you're in the area!) and meeeeeean iced coffee. Stylish place that took good care of me. The menu looked great too. I wish I had time to come back again!

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Super great Thai Food in the area 😀. Just happened to find. The best part for me was they had Gluten Free options 👍🏼👍🏼. We'll definitely be back 🥳

Good food good prices glad we stopped there ✨

Diner Review №98

So good!! Comes out fast and hot and it’s well priced!! I would recommend if you like Thai!

TAKE OUT Tuesday, July 2, 2024
We have visited KC a several times. In the last few years, we have been staying at the nearby Crossroads Hotel. And I always say, I want to try the food at this place. I finally followed through! I ordered take out online (easy to use): Crab Rangoons
Hand folded with real crab meat & served with sweet chili sauce.
$5 for 3. Curried Coconut Shrimp & Chicken
‍Shrimp, chicken, red onions, peas, Thai basil, cilantro & rice vermicelli 3 mm noodles in a house-made green curry sauce $18. Oh my, it was so good and tasted real good. Yes, the rangoons tasted more like cream cheese with minimal crab but still good. On the flip side I truly enjoyed the Curry Coconut & Chicken. We flavored. BUT it was more noodle than shrimp and chicken.
LULU - If you are going to charge $18, please supply generous amounts of the protein. Give your patrons bang for our buck!
Overall: I can now say I tried LuLu's. And it was good.

Diner Review №100

Really fun experience! Great staff, very flavorful food & a nice vibe. We had a great time trying new dishes and especially loved the curry! Went back for more & loved every dish!

Diner Review №101

Wonderfully open atmosphere for anyone.

Diner Review №102

Diner Review №103

Loved it :) loaded with flavore. We had crab rangoon. Chicken fried rice was perfectly spiced. Wife had the asian chicken salad. Fresh and flavorful.

Diner Review №104

Good place. Have been here a few times over the years. Lots to choose from. Not as spicy as a traditional Thai place.

Diner Review №105

Diner Review №106

I was really disappointed with my first visit to Lulu’s. First off, the boba in my tea was not fresh and the flavor of the tea was gross, so that entire drink was not enjoyable whatsoever. And then I ordered my food Hot, but there was zero heat. I wanted spice and everything was bland. Portions are small, too. It was all really mediocre, especially at this price point, and not a good representation of Thai cuisine. I gave two stars because they do have a small parking lot (a miracle downtown), and the overall vibe of the actual venue is cool.

Diner Review №107

Food was delicious. Ordered blazing steak Drunken Noodles. Was expected level of spiciness. I was disappointed that they didn't have Prik Nam Pla, but the food had limes and they do have fish sauce available. Not the same, but close enough. I would recommend they make Prik Nam Pla for customers. Some of the best Thai food I have eaten in Midwest, definitely would recommend.

Diner Review №108

Eat here!!! Drove 9 hours to KC for a show that got canceled 30 mins before starts. So we found this place and honestly it made the drive completely worth it. I got the drunken noodles and my partner got the crab fried rice and it was AMAZING!

I’ve been going to Lulus for years and this time it was terrible. The bubble tea I ordered had no flavor and the tapioca balls were over cooked and disintegrating in the drink. My Pad Se Eu noodles weren’t cooked through and the whole dish was lacking flavor. The crab fried rice was overcooked. The service was terrible. I’m so disappointed.

Diner Review №120

Ordered UberEats delivery last night.
Tom kha is my favorite and the positive is the amount of protein given but the taste was mediocre.
The curry chicken was not good and am trying to find a positive for it all the while I would NOT recommend after my taste and price not worth it at all!

Diner Review №121

The food was pretty good, but different than we were expecting. We ordered crab rangoons, which weren't sweet at all, as well as pad Thai. They used a fish sauce instead of a peanut sauce for the past thai, but it was still pretty good, just different from any that we've ever had before.

Diner Review №122

Holy cow! The dinner menu is fantastic and everything we had was excellent. Fresh spring rolls, crab and veggie Rangoon, the coconut chicken soup, and a big variety of seasonal, wok, and specialty main dishes ordered and shared by all 7 of us—we will be back. I truly enjoyed everything about Lulu’s.

Diner Review №123

Diner Review №124

Best Thai Food in KC hands down. They offer many great dishes.

Diner Review №125

Arrived here for a late lunch and had recently read that it was a popular destination for noodle lovers. There were only a handful of people there so it was relatively quiet during my visit. Ordered the pad Thai, and was given the option to choose my spice level. Ordered it hot, and it was anything but, which was disappointing. The noodles were decent overall, but nothing special, nor did I find it extremely flavorful. Everything here was just, okay, but for the high price of $18 for just the pad Thai, there are much better places I have found in the area then what I had.

Diner Review №126

Great place to stop in for a quick lunch! Food came out quick, hot, and delicious.

Diner Review №127

Diner Review №128

Diner Review №130

This place is so cute! The food was good, the atmosphere was great, and the service was impeccable.

Diner Review №131

Ordered takeout at the Crossroads location on a weekday evening at 6 PM.
52 minutes to pickup seemed crazy.
Opted for curbside.

Arrived at that congested location, no curbside space, call the number and after a while someone answered. Yeah, curbside means park at the curb and come in.

Thanks buddy, that's the last time. Too bad, I liked the food. But I'd rather give my business elsewhere.

Diner Review №139

Diner Review №142

Diner Review №143

Diner Review №144

Been here a couple times recently and love their food. Lots of veggies, lots of great options, it's easy to eat here and not feel like you just ate a whole pizza. Recently learned that the Drunken Noodles are what some Thai places call Pad Kee Mao, so just FYI, that's the best.

Diner Review №145

I love the spicy beef jantaboon. Get it made hot, the medium does not have much flavor. 4 stars because they lost our reservation.

Diner Review №146

I ordered through Uber it was fresh good ingredients I’m used to drunken noodle being heavier on the stomach The spiciness level was like it was adjusted for white people. Normally I do medium spiciness at other restaurants, and it can very from kind of spicy to really spicy but for the price and the amount that you get that amount of drunken noodle was really worth 13$ maybe $14 at other restaurants but I don’t know where they where the ingredient's Probably a good place to take a date if you still wanna be moving after dinner

Diner Review №147

Diner Review №148

Always a treat for me. I sit at the bar and get some good lunch about 1x a month. Lunch menu portions and prices are on point.

Diner Review №149

My fiancé and I had lunch here for our anniversary. It was the first time we ate here in a couple years, and it was just as good as I remember. We are both vegan and the menu can be easily adjusted to fit our needs. I wish I could remember the name of our server but they had a shaved head and a tattoo on their neck. They were quick and a great server. They also made the cocktail I had and it was one of the best drinks I've ever had. We will definitely start coming back regularly again.

Diner Review №150

Good food, well priced, good service. Only improvement could have been a louder server. They did a fine job, but it was a strain to hear them for everyone in my party even after being asked to repeat themselves repeatedly.

Diner Review №151

Food and drinks were delicious and service was great.

Diner Review №152

The food is great and the service is usually pretty good. If you try to go on a Friday or Saturday night be aware that there's very limited parking. You may have to park towards the crossroads and walk over.

Diner Review №153

Diner Review №154

Excellent Thai and noodles

Diner Review №155

I’m not sure what’s going on , but it’s just not as good as before. Very salt and the steak is squishy & soggy. I got the beef jantaboon.

Diner Review №156

Diner Review №157

The food is great. I got mild spice for a little flavor. The mild spice was more spicy than I thought it to be. I did eat it with plenty of water. But, if you're one of those who does not care for spice, order your food with no spice. Highly recommend this place.

Diner Review №158

Absolutely Amazing! Loved it. The food was incredible! This was my first experience with this restaurant..out of the three items we ordered ..they were all outstanding..The service we had was not very good though..

Diner Review №159

Diner Review №163

Diner Review №164

Went here Friday for the first time and got the bowl of soup. I was originally leaning towards the pineapple fried rice but $18 for rice is a little bit pricey. The broth in the soup was fresh and very flavorful. Just wish they gave you a little more noodles and less bean sprouts

Diner Review №165

A very generic version of Thai food...Best thing was tha Thai iced coffee....probably will be my last visit...not knocking it, jus have had Way better and more authentic versions of Thai food.

Diner Review №166

Love this place. Went recently with some friends for Restaurant Week and the menu was great and totally worth the $!

Diner Review №167

Great food. Glad they now allow us to order by spice level. When they first opened they would tell me no because it's authentic Thai food. I've been to Thailand a few times and guess what? The restaurants ask you what spice level you want. Glad they made the adjustment. I especially love the ability to order extra crushed garlic! Definitely one of my "go to" spots in KC. Sorry I cannot comment on the service and atmosphere as I typically order carry out/delivery. Had my favorite green curry chicken two nights ago, and will probably have it again this weekend. Can you please add egg plant as an item? :)

Diner Review №168

Best Pad Thai in the city.

Diner Review №172

The food is decent but Heads up, this place is not cool with you ordering to go then eating it inside due to last min changes in your life.

Im not one to write reviews & prefer to take things up w the manager but the incident I had w the manager earlier today led me to this;
Ordered take out on my lunch break for me & a friend. Due to some last min changes + my phone dying (that I needed to use for work) we decided to eat our take out (which i paid $45 including tip) there so I could charge my phone and so we wouldn’t have to sit in my car in the -4 degree weather.

Miles or Myles the manager, rang up the order, which took him forever, but that wasn’t an issue. As we sat down I noticed he forgot the peanut sauce to the spring rolls so I asked for some and a spoon.

Sometime after he came up to our table and said in the least tactful way that “they don’t normally let take out order sit inside and eat” and that “we need to hurry up so they can make room for guests” …it was 3:30 in the afternoon, we sat for about 15 min, there were maybe 12 ppl in the restaurant with PLENTY of open seats.

The way he came at us was incredibly rude. never in my life have I had a restaurant tell me that in the maybe 5 times I’ve had to switch gears & eat my to go order in their establishment.
Both me & my friend have worked in the restaurant industry and were both astounded & rubbed the wrong way by the interaction.

Please, LuLu’s, put up a sign with your to go eating requirements if it’s such a big deal & so no one has to interact with Miles like we had to. It was uncomfortable. I felt like I was being profiled or something. Makes me not want to go back there which is sad bc the vibe was nice even tho food is hit or miss.

Hands down one of the weirdest experiences at a restaurant I have ever encountered. Actually have been bartending and waiting tables for 15 years and have never experienced anything like this. My friend and I ordered to go food expecting to eat somewhere else but when our plans fell through, we asked if we could sit at a table and eat. Later on in the meal, a gentleman named Miles approached us and asked us if we were planning to continue eating there. He told us that they don’t normally allow people to eat to go food at the restaurant, but I explained to him our particular situational circumstances. The restaurant was not busy at all and there were several tables around us that were available. Miles continued on for another minute or two talking about how they need these tables for their hungry customers even though we just spent $48 on lunch (tip included). He continued to be rude and to make me and my date feel awkward and so eventually I asked him if he just wanted us to leave. He continued on that if we were going to be there for just a short amount of time that that would be okay but to try to to hurry up so they can get their table back. 0/10 on the hospitality dynamic. Gross. Right before I left I asked the host what was our servers name and she proceeded to tell me that he was actually the manager, and that his name is Miles. Wow. The food here is decent (I wouldn’t write Mom back home about it), but there’s a very little chance I will ever be coming back. ✌️

Amazing food!

I found the food to be very bland tasting. The coconut shrimp had to be sent back the 1st time for being overcooked, and there was no coconut on them. The Big Soup Bowl had no flavor to it at all, just the broth flavors.

Wonderful food! A bit of a wait, as expected on a Friday night. Had vegetable platter, Crab Rangoon appetizers plus veggie curry, soup. Bubbly sake to top it all off! Enjoy anything, you will be happy.

A quirky and fun thai spot in downtown KC. Would recommend the thai wings!

It is a really great restaurant. The food is amazing and the service is fantastic. If you order your food "blazing" hot, you will not be disappointed. They actually know how to do it here!

The food was incredible, so flavorful, and the meat was unbelievably tender.

Definitely a must eat at restaurant, when visiting downtown KC, Various noodle dishes made they way you want. For me, I can't stand cilantro, and I like a little heat, And there you go just the way I like it; no cilantro and just enough heat to let you know it was in there.

We had a lovely dining experience, great food and adult cocktails!

Most of the food offerings are great, some aren't with the price, IMO. They can prepare the dishes with any level of spicy, from "white girl mild" to burning fire in the mouth. I recommend getting some of the spicy connection on the side.

Ate here last night and our whole group loved it. Definitely recommend. Firecracker Shrimp was awesome.

One of my favorite Thai places. The food and service are great and I love the location

Crab fried rice was amazing, the sauce for the spring rolls a little bland however.

HAPPY HOUR is cool.

Food portion does not justify the cost.

Love this place but frustrating that they sold almost all their parking so plan on paying for valet too
