The only complaint I could possibly have is that the parking and seating leaves much to be desired but if you are looking for some amazing, authentic Asian food in Joplin, don’t waste your money anywhere else!

Other than that the food quality outweighs this problem.

Amazing Khao Soi--one of the best l've ever had, even compared to bigger cities! My friend had the basil fried rice and said it was also fantastic. Thai iced coffee and sticky mango rice were great.
This is a cute little drive thru place with a few tables inside. Basic but cozy and the lady who runs it is so nice! We ordered take out but I would come back and eat if I'm in town!

If anyone has been wanting to try this place out, but hasn't yet, I encourage you to do so. I ordered the shrimp in a blanket and a pad thai.
I placed an order online for carryout and they got it to me very quickly, even though I showed up before the scheduled pickup time. I ate the shrimp rolls hot out of the paper bag on the way home (no judgment 😉), with the sweet and sour sauce.
💯 delicious and satisfying. I kept yumming over it.
The restaraunt is small, but clean and comfy. I could definitely see bringing my family here for a quick dinner. Great job, guys!

The drunken noodles tasted awesome. But it took 30 minutes to get my food. Maybe next time when I go to the drive-up I'll sit there and not budge until they hand me my food and just back up the line how's that.

It's a place my two younger children like. My daughter took me there for her birthday lunch. She talked very highly about the mango chicken dish. So I got that. And she got a noodle dish with pork and bean sprouts. Both were tasty. We also got crab ragoon. It was a little too crunchy for me, but it tasted good. She had honeydew melon bubble tea. I don't like bubble tea.🤮 I had water. It's not Thai cafe's fault. The only one I tried before was at the mall. I like my tapioca warm and creamy, not in globs

Is there anything better or more delicious than an Iced Thai Tea on a hot, muggy, sweaty day (or ever, really)? No. No there is not.

I eat here enough that they know my order as soon as I pull up. Aew, and the rest of the staff, are the sweetest people. The food is fantastic, and the prices are great. By far, my favorite place to eat in Joplin. 10/10 recommend.

Ordered the chicken pad Thai and steamed potstickers. It was soooooo good! The pad Thai was a little sweet for my taste but it was still a meal I had a hard time putting down. I will definitely be back! I would have posted the pic of the pot stickers but I was hungry and forgot to take a pic first.

Delicious fun in a laid back atmosphere. Had delicious pho and appetizer sampler that hit all the right cravings. The crispy duck was excellent, so much so we grabbed an extra one to go. No pictures though as we cleared all of it. Will return again to try more of the menu.

Other than paying $80 for our meals and boba teas for 4 people and 2 of the appetizers, everything was great and beautiful. I don't recommend the peanut sauce. I've never had it anywhere else so i don't know what i was expecting, maybe it's just not my cup of tea. It was like melted peanut butter and i didn't like that but I'll definitely be back and I'll for sure try something else!! Thank you for your kind and friendly service especially with my 5 and 6 year old kiddos!

Best Thai fried rice and curry we’ve had in Missouri

We are in town visiting friends and stopped in for lunch. It was delicious! We ordered the fiery pad Thai, pad Thai with chicken, and the Thai soft rolls. The service was great as well!

This is one of my favorite places to eat! Their steam dumplings are AMAZING. I always recommend this place to all of my friends. It’s priced a little high but deff worth it.

My self and the husband were driving interstate from Illinois for about 6 hours , when we decided to take a pit-stop in Joplin. We were looking at food options for dinner. We had the usual McDs and Arbys for breakfast and lunch and so wanted a good and hearty meal for dinner. It was a Sunday and so a lot of places seemed to be closed or had closed early. We then came across this restaurant and the google reviews convinced us to try this place out.
It's a tiny joint with limited seating (and parking) but very cozy. As we entered the restaurant, the lady at the counter greeted us and asked us to be seated. She gave us the menu to decide and once we were ready we could go to the counter and place the order. We decided to take Thai wings , Tom kha soup and Thai Time Curry with Duck meat.
Believe me when I say the food was fabulous. After our long journey , the soup felt like a balm to our throat and belly. Everything was fantastic and may I say , this was one of the best Thai food we have had. There wasn't a lot of staff , so the lady at the counter was also the one to bring us our food. She was kind and courteous and asked us if we needed anything else.
All in all , a very comforting experience. This place is a must try !

Such a cute place. I have alpha gal which is a food allergy to red meat and sea weed. They have been very accommodating. The shrimp in a blanket and Thai time egg roll are my go to.

Literally the most amazing Thai food Ive ever eaten. So sad that I live 1200 miles away. I will probably dream about this experience. First off it’s the cutest little place with a drive-through window. We first were the only ones in there and within minutes the small inside restaurant was packed and the drive-through window was nonstop the entire time. Everything is made fresh by hand in the back. Soul grateful we found this gem along our cross country travels. Definitely a must stop if you like Thai food and are along I-44 W in Joplin, MO.

Visited Thai Time Cafe yesterday. Tried the pineapple fried rice at server's suggestion. It was perfect. Just the right amount of sweet with a bit of spicy. Will definitely go back for more.

This is a very small place, but the Thai food is very impressive. Great homemade soup. Excellent fresh dumplings. I had chicken, shrimp with brown rice in a light brown sauce. Outstanding. Going back. In short, loved it.

I was visiting Christ Church with my friend and so she and her friend went from there to eat here and had a good time and made a good memory there. The food was so good!

Friend got pad Thai I got yellow curry with chicken. Both were good but yellow curry was very oily.

My first time there was confusing. I noticed it was for another first-timer as well. Their drive-through is ok, but then customers are asked to parallel park on either side of the small restaurant while waiting for their orders. Then, an employee brings your order out to your car in 15 minutes or so.
The chicken pad thai was good, but a smaller portion. The crab ragoons were good but a small portion as well.
Next time, I will call ahead and order so as not to have to try to squeeze in and parallel park.

Ambiance of the place and the service was good. The food was not to my liking, however. The pad Thai was overly sweet, including the "firey" pad Thai. Don't think I'd be going back.

Some of the best Thai food I have ever had!

I LOVE the Tom Yum soup and Pad Thai. I just tried the Volcano (spicy tamarind duck). I’ll have to ask them to make it a little more spicy. :-)
They have such quick service and delicious food. I also like their new remodel- it is much more modern. I do wish they used reusable glassware instead of disposable cups, but I think they might be heading that direction.

I came in here around four o'clock on a Thursday afternoon. They were playing light Hozier and The Lumineers. The girl at the counter was very kind, and it brought me in to sit instead of getting take out. I ordered the Cashew Nut Chicken, with some Crab Ragoons as an appetizer. I was very satisfied with the taste and the fresh vegetables of my order. I will definitely be visiting this location again.

Enjoyed dining in for a cozy dinner date this evening for my first visit. Indoor seating is limited but we were able to get a table right away. Counter service was very kind and quickly helped us make our menu selections. Crab rangoon are a must, they are some of the best I’ve had. Gra pow and chili tamarind chicken were fast, spicy, and delicious and paired well with a great thai tea. Stopped in on recommendations from locals and will be back when I’m in Joplin!

Covid made dining inside here unavailable for a very long time. They only recently reopened their dining room after completing renovations. Remodel is nice but the charming decor is all gone. Counter service replaced former table service changes dynamic as well. Food quality is still very good. The bento box is a good way to try several different things. Amazing soup.

I've heard so may great things about this place and wasn't disappointed. My partner and I ordered miso soup, sampler, pineapple fried rice w/ shrimp, and pad see u w/ chicken. Everything was delicious.

Pad thai and sauced chicken is delish

This is an amazing little restaurant! The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious! My favorite is Garlic Fried rice and the Thai Tea is out of this world!

The food tastes amazing, best Thai food I've had and feels authentic. I had roll, crab rangoon, salad w/ ginger dressing, fiery pad Thai, and milk tea. Only issues are the fiery pad was not spicy at all, and the portions are small for the price.

We eat there monthly. They were on their annual vacation, so; had to make an a alternate choice for food. But, THAI TIME is the Best Thai in the area.

They have really kept the same quality. Great portions and flavors. Friendly staff. I have had almost every meal and never dissatisfied. I will say the Green curry is my go to.💕

2022 Update: Unfortunately the dine-in experience has drastically changed, likely from the pandemic. You now order at the counter and everything is served on throw-away dishes like styrofoam. However the food is still amazing and incredible and it remains my top choice for Thai food. I'm not a fan of all the extra waste though, that's disappointing.

Nope. I had much higher expectations, based on the ratings. Bottom on the list of pad thai I've tried. It wasn't awful, but not good. Portions were so small, especially for the price. Spring rolls were underwhelming as well, dry and very little meat. Pad Thai was dry with very little flavor. Staff is great, but it's a pass for me.

The food proportion to cost was way off. Too little food for cost.
The taste was very bland and tasteless.

When asked for fish sauce nobody knew what we were speaking of and instead of finding out, just told us no, even though they had a shelf full of it.

If not for the friendly staff, would have been a 1 star.

Overall, will not be returning, if am ever in the area again.

This is literally the best place I've eaten since moving to Missouri. The vegetables were like farmers market fresh. food was excellent. David was absolutely amazing. Was super knowledgeable about the different dishes and gave extra attention to make sure my daughter's food allergy was taken care of all while running drive thur..phones.. and other tables. I highly recommend this place!! 👌

This food is excellent. Really great quality. Small restaurant for dining in and everything is served in takeout containers, which I didn't mind at all. Works great to just grab your leftovers and go. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Very impressed, would recommend!

I really love this place. My only issue is that in the soups and curries, the veggies are hardly cooked. Onions and mushrooms are close to raw instead of that delicious simmered texture and flavor you want in a dish like that. But maybe that’s just my preference. Staff is very nice and the flavor is always great.

Best Thai in Joplin! The beef pad Thai is my go-to, and it is delicious every time. I understand the change from a dine-in restaurant to an express eatery. It’s super easy and convenient to order ahead and pick up! The prices are reasonable and the amount of food given is generous. Keep coming back!

This place is a sorry excuse for Thai food. Ordered Pho and the meatballs were so chewy I could use them as rubber bouncing balls. The beef tasted old and rubbery. The amount of noodles you get is ridiculous. The spring rolls weren't cut in half, the peanut sauce was just oil and peanuts. The only good this about that place was the edemame. Save yourself the money folks. Go somewhere else.

The owners were extremely helpful and kind, and this was seriously a little gem hidden inside Joplin. If we are back up that way, we can’t wait to come back and try some new items.

I live in St. Louis and loved the Thai food there. I was looking for an authentic Thai restaurant while I was here in Joplin, and this is it! The food is prepared daily, and is fresh, no frozen or processed anything. This is the best there is including Saint Louis. You have to try this out. Even if you are not familiar with Thai food, do yourself a huge favor and go over and try it out! You will not be disappointed!
