Very warm and inviting restaurant with friendly service. The menu has so many dishes that sound delicious so it was tough to make a choice. I settled on the sisig along with an appetizer of wontons. Wontons were very good, especially in concert with the dipping sauce that they're served with. The sisig was absolutely amazingly delectable with perfectly fried bits of pork belly and the fried egg is a great addition to that. I will definitely be back again.

How many times does an already fantastic restaurant come back TWICE as better than before? A rarity to be sure, and ARROY succeeds in EVERY area! I dined here many times when it was Sawatdee, and never thought it could be improved on as it was amazing already, but now, as ARROY, you get the delicious added benefit of yummy Fillipino food in addition to the fabulous Thai dishes that had always been a Sawatdee staple! I dined here with my Mom and cousin on Friday, March 29th 2024 for lunch as an after birthday treat!

The first fabulous sight we had upon arriving at this fabulous restaurant was the large PRIDE flag hanging in the window celebrating the GLBTQI community and the marvelous fact that this beautiful welcoming place is GLBTQI owned and operated by a delightful couple who truly care about each and everyone of their guests!

Now, onto the food! Absolutely AMAZING! 5 stars all the way! We ordered delicious Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls, Luptia and Cream Cheese Puffs to start! Served with a vibrant rich Peanut Sauce and 3 other delicious sauces we were all impressed by the quality as well as quantity!
Our Entrees were as delicuous as the appetizers! The BEST Pad Thai I have ever tasted! Incredible soft noodles in a rich peanut sauce with juicy, delectable beef and chicken! Served with yummy crushed peanuts and garnished with a wonderful green top onion! Just soooo good!

This was ALL topped off by the absolute BEST lemonade I have ever had ANYWHERE!
Arroy makes an incredible series of delicious "Mocktails", non alcoholic sweet drinks and this one was their Lemonade Lychee!
Their fantastic mixologist came up with the incredible idea of adding Lychee syrup to fresh Lemonade made with the smoothest of filtered water and topping it with a garnish of real Lychee nut/berries! Just the sweetest, most delectable combination ever! The Lemonade is not overly sweet and not too tart either! Just RIGHT!
I seriously loved the Lemonade SO much that I bought 3 quarts to take home! Yes, they will sell their non alcoholic drinks to go!

Finally, a restaurant can have fabulous food but without a caring staff, it will come up short.

Let’s just say if you don’t get the chicken wings you are missing out on what may be the best chicken wings you’ve ever had. The dry rub they use on it is astounding.

For entrees we got the massamun beef curry, the Lechon Kawali, and the chicken pad Thai. All of of which were incredible. Full flavors, great texture, solid portion sizes. The only reason I gave the food a four is that the pork belly in the Kawali dish had definitely been over cooked, but hey, it happens. I worked in the industry and stuff happens. I will say the sauce served with the Kawali was boss. I’ve never tried a sauce like that before. I believe it is called Mang Tomas.
For cocktails we tried the dragon fruit vodka martini. It was a little on the sweeter side, which for me isn’t a personal preference but it was indeed tasty. We also tried the hunny bunny mock tail but added vodka to it. This is the one that hit home
For me. It is now my fave drink. Even without the vodka it’s so damn good. A side note to that, when we wanted to add a spirit to the mock tail we weren’t sure what would pair best. We were very pleased that when we inquired with the barkeep they were very knowledgeable on the flavor profiles and what would and would not pair well with the drink. Their suggestion was spot on, oh, and they were quite friendly as well.
Good job guys. You are killing it. When I come to Saint Cloud again I’ll definitely be back.

THE spot to eat in downtown St. Cloud. The Arroy Noodle Soup is amazing!! The wait staff are very kind and helpful and the prices are good.

Ate here on a Wednesday which is 25% off all their (hot)Sake. The sake was great as well as the food. So full of flavor and freshness. The catfish curry was something I’ve never imagined pairs well with the sauce and noodles. The chicken satay was a different type of appetizer not really worth the price. The cream cheese rangoons is some of the best in town. The shrimp fried rice is delicious and they make it however spicy you want. Hands down best rice in town. The memsame beef curry was a small portion and had more potatoes than anything but the beef was so tender and the sauce was so good with added peanuts that by the time I downed two rounds of sake it caused me to ignore the price lol. Overall this will be my new favorite spot in town. I appreciate all the fresh flavors and ingredients something that really lacks in our area. Between the Boil and Arroy I would choose Arroy everytime. I paid like $140 for all that plus a double shot of patron and additional fountain drinks. The only negative is that the restaurant was freezing. It was like -4 outside so I used the hot sake to warm me up but I just felt like there needed to better heat especially with all the window seats they have. Loved the place so much didn’t mind they have no booths here either so keep that in mind when bringing children, however great place for date night and if you want to try something new.

I don’t eat in anymore since the cozy booths/atmosphere are gone. The food is tasty, but the amount of Food has gone drastically down. Way too expensive to give such little portions. ( maybe 1 Cup. Of noodle , barely any broccoli - in a broccoli dish -and 3 strips of chicken) When I called at 5:05 pm on a Friday I was told they don’t take to go orders on Friday and Saturdays past 5 pm, but needed to see if the kitchen will “ make it anyway or not.”

The waitresses that work here are extremely attentive and soooo kind hearted! They truly want to help ensure that your experience is a positive one! One of the waitresses, Brittany, knows the orders for me and all of my coworkers. She is a breath of fresh air and one of the reasons we enjoy it! The food is also absolutely AMAZING! It is fresh and made to your liking! I 100% recommend!!

One of my favorite restaurants in st.cloud, the food and staff were wonderful. They also have a creative and unique drink menu.

I really wanted to try this place, while I was up in St.Cloud for a work conference. Sadly, I was unable to enjoy their entrees, due to other work dinners. So, I decided to drop by to get dessert instead.

When I arrived, I saw the “Please wait to be seated” sign and I obliged. I waited and waited. The wait staff stared at me, but continued to serve their patrons. Even the bartender glanced at me. But, no one came forward.

Maybe I should’ve ordered over the phone. But, no greeting or any word from the staff…just left me to stand very awkwardly at the door.

I ended up leaving.

I would like to add, that they indeed looked short staffed. But, that still doesn’t excuse them for not recognizing or at least approaching other patrons.

I visited Arroy with a work group. I hadn’t been here since it was Sawatdee, and was eager to go back. I’m so glad we did! The food is so fresh and delicious and the waitress did a wonderful job of explaining how the menu works; you can choose your spice level for any dish and almost everything on the menu is customizable. I ordered the shrimp & chicken spring rolls with the peanut sauce and they were so fresh and balanced perfectly with the peanut sauce. I will be back and can’t wait to try more dishes!

Always a great experience here. There’s something for everyone and any occasion, and there’s not a single bad thing on the revamped menu.

I like the rebrand and the remodel I always loved sawadee so I'm glad it's still got some of the old items except it loved old mangos and sticky rice recipe better and I'm sad there is no more thai beef jerky it's hard to get used too that. Great staff many have been there a long time

We brought our family for dinner with varying ages and tastes. We tried 3 appetizers which were delicious and had something for everyone. Our dishes also varied from a few different pad Thai with various proteins to other yummy options. We enjoyed a few craft cocktails which had some kick. Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to returning and trying more dishes. It was somewhat quiet for a Saturday night but still a pleasant environment.

Nice small place with a hometown feel. The food is anything but hometown classic though. Lunch had the heat I asked for and a flavor that went beyond what I expected! It was definately of value for the money and I would be happy to come back next time I am in town.

Their tofu is beyond delicious!!! It's a savory spicy, not a hot spicy. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is totally chill and relaxing. I really wish we would have found this place years ago.

Very open feeling atmosphere. The place was very clean. I was a little disappointed in the siaig that I ordered. Not sure what it was missing. But it was quite salty and just not real flavorful. The others in my party enjoyed their meal.

Pad Thai was alright, but needed salt. Didn’t have any soy sauce or salt on the table. Service was awful. It took roughly 15 minutes to order a beer and the waitresses were extra rude. We had one nice person attend our table for a brief moment and she was the only Asian person working the floor. Will not be back, solely based on service.

Really the food wasn't that bad. It was the servers. All the young tattooed white girls were the most rude servers ive ever experienced. The one POC was the only nice person I spoke to. The only reason I am specifying race is because I don't want the one nice girl to get lumped in with the other rude girls.

I'm sitting in the restaurant now I have been completely ignored. First I came in the sign said wait to be seated I waited over 5 minutes no one came to seat me. I sat my self and got my own menu. I waited another 5 minutes before a waitress came to see me. I then placed my order. She said it would be an hour wait.I asked the young lady to put it in and check back with me in two minutes. cause I wasn't sure i wanted to wait that long. She comes back 15 minutes later having still not placed my order and asked if I wanted it. Not to mention while I waited I watched two white couples get sat and get drinks and food nobody even asked if I wanted a drink. Now I'm still sitting here 30 minutes into a hour that never started hoping they get my order right and don't poison me

I'm so disappointed in MYSELF for waiting this long to try out this gem. The staff are kind and upbeat, the portions were great, and the food is amazing. I had the chicken pad tai and devoured it - like all of it much faster than I should of... The flavor was absolutely perfect... not too salty at all (I'm usually one to first notice these things) and not too sweet either - just right.

I also had the lumpia appetizer and was surprised by how much I liked them! They had the perfect crisped crunch to them, and I think I prefer these over traditional egg rolls now... oh! and the sweet and sauce! I am definitely unsure if I could ever eat one without that either... and I am not really a big dipping sauce person but clearly I was really feeling it.

I know I keep raving about this place in my review, but I really don't think I have ever had Thai this good before. Also, the atmosphere and decor make it a perfect vibe. But all in all, this place is a must to try. Check it out with a friend. Enjoy downtown. But seriously... as I type this my mouth is watering. I loved it and definitely plan on coming back - especially to try out their cocktails.

The food used to taste so good but now it’s bland and dry. Sometimes they allow to do a take out order sometimes they don’t. The service is inconsistent and the food is just okay now. This used to be my go to spot now not so much.

Before I write the review, I should inform that I only had their sisig and Thai coffee and that was about it. For the sisig, I found it a bit too salty for my taste and the flavor lacked depth. I asked for a 4/5 spiciness but I didn’t find it spicy at all. Granted I do have a very high heat tolerance so your mileage may vary. I had the Thai coffee iced and it was good. Not my favorite but nothing to complain about I guess.

Never had an opportunity to dine-in, but get carry out quite frequently and it has always been top-notch

The spring rolls with peanut sauce were really good. I love a good spring roll. I also ordered pad Thai that was flavorful and fulfilling. The roasted peanuts were a great addition. Servers were friendly and patient and the restaurant was clean.

This place is such a gem in St. Cloud. Mina our server was great and very attentive, and all of the food was incredible. The Pad Thai was sweet and savory and nutty in all the best ways, and the halo halo was the BEST way to end a meal. Highly recommend.

Having lived in the Philippines it was nice to find a restaurant in town selling the foods I enjoyed as a child.

I spent a year in Thailand eating the food almost every day. I know people have different ideas about how foods should be prepared, but the chicken fried rice (kow-pot) was nothing like anything I had in any part of Thailand.

I've lived in St Cloud my entire life, and I honestly cannot tell you a restaurant in town that could match the caliber of this place. The interior has a relaxing open floor plan with minimalist art, just accent pieces highlighting a cool and inviting space. The server, Mina, was very helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Everything was stunning, the drinks were fantastic, the pork belly dish I had was perfectly crispy and seasoned to a T, and the Halo Halo dessert was absolutely phenomenal. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Steven did a great job accommodating to our group of 12 with kids ! Food was great. So many ways to make your dish how you want it ! Highly recommended for groups of all sizes and any age !

We love coming here, we used to order take out from sawatdee all the time. WE LOVE THE NEW VIBE INSIDE. the new menu kept some of the same delicious food as well as added to it. VAL IS THE BEST!!!!!! 🩵 THE UBE ICE CREAM STICKY RICE IS TO DIE FOR!!!! (WE EACH GET OUR OWN EVERY SINGLE TIME WE DINE IN)

Absolute hidden gem of downtown. Went with my mom for lunch and we shared several dishes. I grew up eating a lot of these dishes and everything we ate exceeded my expectations while bringing back childhood nostalgia. The mango sticky rice was exceptional! Their prices are right on point and the serving size was just right. Loved the atmosphere being modern but still sticking with the traditional style you would expect. For sure will be back.

Visited between typical meal hours with a large group. Food was delicious. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The brunch is stellar! The thai tea pancakes are fluffy and the spices are subtle but inviting. The sweet of the pancakes contrasts well with the savory lumpia sausages and cream cheese wontons! The staff are very cordial and knowledable of the menu and the food is consistently hot and fresh. The yellow curry is also worth a mention. It's wonderfully seasoned with the spice as you like it- sensitive to the Minnesota pallet or worthy of a fire eater.

We love this place. They have phenomenal drinks my girlfriend loves the jalapeno margaritas. I love the chicken wings best dry rub chicken wings I think I've ever had they're pad Thai it's phenomenal their spring rolls are to die for. I would recommend this place to anybody anyone can find something on this menu to to like

We ventured off our beaten path based on a quick google search for Thai food and the great reviews from previous customers sealed the deal. Happy to say we were NOT disappointed! We were greeted promptly and were able to order fairly quickly as well. We loved the fresh spring rolls as our appetizer! We wanted to try several dishes, so we ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, Panang Beef Curry, Green Curry with Chicken, and Pad See You with Shrimp. They were all FANTASTIC, served promptly, and piping hot! The flavor profiles for each dish were exquisite. We ordered fairly spicy versions and found the heat levels pleasing. We will definitely add the few extra miles to dine here again next time we’re passing through!

The chicken wings were nice and crispy. The pork bites were amazing and served with ketchup which I am ashamed to say was really good with the pork bites. Egg rolls were also fantastic. I would recommend the Green Chicken Curry at the default spice level

While visiting St Cloud we were thrilled to find this authentic Thai restaurant. Our group tried 3 of the appetizers, all of which were delicious, as well as the cocktails and food.

You can also increase the spiciness of your entree, if you wish. We will definitely be back to try more of the extensive menu. We do know that the Coconut Toam Yum and Panang Beef Curry were delightful and satisfying!

Kind of feels like the chef doesnt have salt receptors on their tongue. Soooo salty, terrible in comparison to when it was owned by the family that owns Sawatdee.

Is there a 10 star option? Thai and Filipino options in full flavors and a beautiful atmosphere, bring your phone and your appetite! Impressive cocktail and mocktail handcrafted drink menus and fun seasonal options! All else we can say is.. YUMM

Our first time today - we’ll be back. Food and service were great for lunch. Massamun Curry was perfect - mix of spicy and smooth, with multiple layers of taste. We loved what they’ve done to open up the space. We needed this restaurant in west central Minnesota!

Probably the most authentic Thai n Filipino restaurant in Central MN. My partner and I both got two different kind of curry. The yellow curry and the Beef Penang Curry were fantastic. The acoustics did mean our group of 4 was probably a bit loud and echoing that night, but every thing else was a definite 5 of 5.

Service was great. My meal was ok. It was very quiet as there were only 3 other customers when we visited.

I’ve been a fan of this spot for a while, and wanted to shoutout their pleasant, timely, and friendly resolution! I got my usual lunch to go, and it didn’t taste as it usually does, so I called and they were happy to remake it for me.

Food and service were excellent!

The services was great. However, the food is overprice for what you are getting. It’s not authentic at all and too water down and have no flavor. It’s really catering for white folks. I do really like the mock-tail. You should go for the lemonade lychee. It’s the best.

So excellent. Really flavorful food, refreshing, well-balanced cocktails, and great service. They were in the middle of a small rush around 3:30 p.m. with not much staff, and every singe staff member I saw was pushing it as hard as they could. Even with a slight wait, everything came out hot and in a reasonable time. And with a smile.
Highly recommend the Adobo. I can't stop thinking about it. Idk how it got more delicious with every bite, but it did. Lumpia and Bendana's Pancit were also so so good. Probably the best dining experience I've had in three years, and that's saying a lot.
Take dates here. Take yourself on a date here- that works, too.

We have eaten here twice so far and we plan on eating here many more times! First time we came with friends and were staying in town for a convention. It was so yummy that my husband and I returned the following week (an hour drive from our home)! We got the fresh spring rolls, chicken satay and their version of pho. We got a level two spice, which is plenty spicy for us! We don't care for extremely spicy dishes. My mouth was on fire but dissipated with cold water. Lol If black pepper is spicy for you, don't get a level two! So fresh! So good! We had sticky rice and mango for dessert the first time, second time they were out of mango so we tried jackfruit. I don't care for the texture of jackfruit but that's nothing to do with the restaurant. We will be returning with friends and family!!! I'm craving it!!! Our waiter seemed super shy and he wasn't fast at clearing the table but he was very friendly and it was just fine overall for service (definitely not complaining, just clear the table a little quicker, I waitressed in my past). The bartender remembered us and he was very friendly!

Everything was amazing! We went on a Friday evening and it wasn't that busy. We were sat right away and our drinks and food came really quickly. All the staff were really nice and helpful! Never tried any thai/filipino food before and this was really good! Will definitely be coming back again soon!

Great Thai food.

Came here for supper after being at the school nutrition conference all day. Had the egg rolls and mock duck pancit. Everything was delicious! The lychee lemonade was awesome, too! The service was great, and the restaurant was clean and tidy. Wait times can be a little long, but you can tell everything is freshly made. You can order takeout ahead of time as well.

My family and I came for my birthday and everything was awesome. It was clean and quiet, with attentive servers. The food came out as expected, hot and delicious!!! The items we got for apps were fresh spring rolls, chicken wings and lumpia. Entrees are coconut Tom yum soup, chicken adobo, Thai basil noodles and the yellow curry. We shared the turon and ube ice cream for dessert. I also got the mango sticky rice dessert free for the birthday (not pictured but also fantastic). Quality and authentic Thai food !! Must stop in stcloud.

If you are craving Thai food this will satisfy your craving. I thought all of our dishes were flavorful, we had Pad Thai Chicken, Massaman Beef, Chicken Pad Sa Ew. Medium size for 2 of the dishes, if you’re looking for a kick definitely go with the highest spice. The menu is extensive and includes dishes other than Thai food.

There's something about Arroy Thai that makes me wanna Happy Cry. I can't help but tear up from the spice. While the flavor is so bustling that I get more cheerful in every bite. This is a Reader's Digest delight

Had a great meal here with my wife. The service was great. They have a good selection of mocktails and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Pancit and blackberry hunny mocktail.

Food and service very good.

Took an hour to get our food. We ordered hot tea and after 30 minutes of waiting I had to ask for the tea. 40 more minutes for the food to come. Not once did anyone come up and advise us or check in. So tempted to leave no tip but the guy was standing in front of me. Absolutely worst service ever. Food was good but the terrible service ruined the visit

Outstanding pork Thai basil noodles, fantastic pork pad Thai.

The chicken fried rice was delightful, very generous portion. Great servers, good prices.

Made a stop on our way to the cities and the food and atmosphere were outstanding.
