Quit environment; attentive service, and good food.

Diner Review №2

Bug in the food plus tables and the whole restaurant just so dirty

Diner Review №3

Impeccable but casual food. Bangkok style. The freshest ingredients cooked perfectly. No msg. The stir fried vegetables are exception paired with the mock duck and basil garlic sauce. Hearty portions. And Law is so warm and charming! This place makes me happy from the inside out

Diner Review №4

The food was absolutely amazing, the service... not so much. I had to beg for more water, no one ever came to check on us once we got our meal and we didn't have an opportunity to order a second drink. To be fair, it was a busy Friday night, but a refill on water would have been appreciated. Will definitely go back.

Diner Review №5

Green curry was fantastic. Others in our party loved the pad thai, spring rolls,... Service was perfect. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №7

Staff went above and beyond to serve our large group on a busy evening. Amazing food and ambience! Loved the coconut lemongrass soup and especially. We will definitely be back.

Diner Review №8

Consistently great food and service. Grilled veggies add so much flavor.

Diner Review №9

Went to dinner with a very critical crowd of guests and each of us raved about the food. The best Tom Yum broth I have ever eaten (more veg than I am used to but it was delicious). Great service by one waiter who didn't get much support from the front desk guy as he served the entire restaurant singlehandedly. Can't wait for the leftovers!

Diner Review №10

Cute atmosphere. Very good service. Food is excellent!!

Diner Review №14

Overly priced for ok food. I had the beef spicy noodles and some Thai tea paid over $35? Cute place but just not for me

Diner Review №15

Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Was extremely pleasantly surprised as it was a suggestion from my 76 year old mother for her birthday dinner.

Diner Review №16

Very flavourful, great food and customer service.

Diner Review №17

I check out the Thai restaurants everywhere I go, and when I visit Minneapolis I come here. Still the best Thai food I find anywhere.

Diner Review №18

Tried the Papaya Salad, Tom Yum soup, and Fried Tofu Cubes - SO GOOD! Happy to have found a local Thai restaurant that’s definitely a go to now.

Diner Review №19

Service was great. Food was amazing. Sooo goooood! You definitely need to go here. Save room for the mango sticky rice!

Diner Review №22

All I had was the egg rolls, but they were very good.

Diner Review №23

My favorite Thai place 😍

Diner Review №24

Diner Review №25

The staff is wonderful and the food is amazing!

Diner Review №26

Spicy noodles and hot plate were excellent. The roasted vegetables added a lot of flavor. Lettuce wraps had a great sauce. All in all very good.

Diner Review №27

Excellent Thai food. Everything is super fresh, super flavorful, and cooked just right. I highly recommend this place.

Diner Review №28

Love it

Diner Review №29

Best Thai food I've had! We got the Pad thai, Supreme Basil, and Red Curry, all were amazing. Great service too!

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

This is the best Thai I’ve ever had! Recommend the green curry & Thai style fried rice 10/10

Diner Review №37

Excellent Thai food made with fresh and authentic ingredients cooked to perfection. We had coconut and lemon grass soup with chicken, fried shrimp spring roll and green curry with shrimp, everything was super awesome. Don’t miss out this place if your pallet craves for Thai food 😊

Diner Review №38

Good Thai food.

Diner Review №39

Stellar food, attentive service, and super cute digs. Will be back!

Diner Review №40

Delicious food!! I am gluten free and dairy free and had a wonderful meal! The server (Law H.) was welcoming and funny! We love this place!

Diner Review №41

อร่อยมากกกๆๆๆ ทางร้านบริการดีมากๆค่ะ อาหารขึ้นโต๊ะรวดเร็ว ไว้ไปกินอีกแน่นอน Highly recommend!

Diner Review №42

Perhaps one of the most flavorless Thai foods I’ve ever had, it seemed as if they put no spice in it.

Diner Review №43

This place was really good when we visited 6 months ago. I don't know what happened but we ordered some take out yesterday and it was pretty disappointing. Just lack of spices and flavor. Pad Thai is supposed to be tangy and savory but it was blah. Other dishes, such as pad ze ew was the same.

Diner Review №46

Naviya’s Thai offers a wide range of vegetable Thai dishes that are mild to spicy! We love their lettuce wraps, noodle dishes and curry’s. Their cream cheese wontons are delicious too! I would give this place a 5 star, however, I feel as if the service by our server was unfair when overhearing her interactions with the table next to us. Took us a while to get water. The server asked the table next to us if they wanted mango sticky rice for dessert as they have it listed as a special and they declined. She then turned around to check in and we asked for the mango sticky rice where she then proceeded to say, "oh we don't actually have any more left today." I would not provide a low rating if she had not offered it all but to offer it to one table and then turn around and flat out and say they don't have it is truly unfair service in a lovely restaurant. I have been to Naviya's Thai a couple of times before and family visits too but this is the first time I have flat out experienced unfair service at what I thought would be a nice evening out.

Diner Review №47

High quality

Diner Review №48

Here's my review. I'll break it into chunks where certain topics might matter to you (:

Parking:
- plenty of street parking, free

Dining:
- waiter was very nice and very attentive
- was able to sit at a table quickly
- food came out pretty fast
- bathroom and inside the restaurant was clean
- plenty of seating inside too

Food:
- the spring rolls were sooooo delicious! (: the peanut dipping sauce was sweet but very flavorful. I think this is probably one of my favorites now for fresh spring rolls. The shrimp chicken combo was also very nice and flavorful.
- chicken pad see ew: it's interesting to have bell peppers and squash in it, but I like having more veggies in my dishes (makes me feel a bit more healthier XD). The chicken isn't like rubbery or hard but shreds nicely when you bite into it. There's a light tint of a flavor like sesame oil. The dish wasn't super oily.

Overall, I had a very pleasant dine in experience after my two hikes. This is also just a very cute town area to explore. I would recommend here as a new place to check out and a town to explore 😊

Diner Review №49

Diner Review №50

We never have a bad experience here. Every meal is excellent. I had Green Curry and the flavors were superb. Spicy and hot, bur not too hot. The cream cheese wonton were delicious.

Diner Review №51

This place is amazing!

Diner Review №52

Diner Review №53

Diner Review №54

Just need to clean the bathroom. Food was superb, atmosphere is cold, literally and figuratively.

Diner Review №55

Ordered the Pad see ew with veggies. They gave me tofu. Flavorless and extremely oily. If you eat Thai food outside of this state you will be disappointed and annoyed at the price.

Diner Review №56

A little gem nestled in the Linden Hills neighborhood. We are very excited to have tried it and will absolutely go back! I would say the food is a solid 4 star and the extra star just came from how friendly the service is.

Pretty much everything is delicious, but I encourage you to be adventurous and highly recommend the:
- Rama thai
- Green curry
- Ginger Hot plate
- Mango sticky rice

Diner Review №59

The amazing places you can find through just a quick search always amaze me. Naviya's was no exception as the food, service, and atmosphere were amazing! I arrived on a super chilly Halloween evening to an empty spot. I was warmly welcomed and asked to sir wherever. I took a seat and checked out their menu, which had a diverse mix of curries, rice, appetizers, and other entrees.

I was a little overwhelmed, so the waiter told me to try the green curry with chicken. I'm so glad I tried this as the curry was so delicious. It came out pipping hot and with medium spice. It made my lips tingle just enough, but not to the point of discomfort. I added the white rice that came on the side and chowed down. Every bite was satisfying, and I could not get enough. I'm so happy that curry makes great leftovers as I was able to save it and savor it later.

Definitely recommend this wonderful neighborhood gem! Speaking of the neighborhood, it is super quaint and cute.

I will be back to Naviya's when I am in the Minneapolis area again!

Diner Review №60

Love their curry dishes! Always attentive service and excellent food.

Diner Review №61

Diner Review №62

My favorite restaurant! Such great food, amazing atmosphere, and a caring staff who work to build connections with the locals. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere in downtown Linden Hills is great. Takeout is also awesome and on time!

Diner Review №63

Had their fresh chicken and shrimp spring rolls, chicken Pad Thai, and a Golden Monkey Belgian Triple beer. Everything was great and our server was awesome. The spring rolls were fresh, tasty and the right proportions of ingredients. My one nit for the rolls was the dipping sauce was plain. I prefer the oil based sauce these come with over the peanut butter based sauces some places serve, but Naviya's could bring theirs up a notch. The chicken Pad Thai was the best I have had in a long time, quite possibly beating my all time favorite that recently closed. They add the veggies to the dish but ensure they are still crisp and cooked to perfection. Portions are good for the price and enough for leftovers unless you are super hungry. All in all I'll be back and would highly recommend.

Diner Review №64

In a word: delicious. had the sweet soy noodles, red curry, cream cheese wonton, Thai coffee and spring rolls. All excellent. The kids menu was the adult menu but mini --delicious pad thai.
A nice touch: If you like super spicy food, like melt your mouth thai hot, they will bring you a cute little pot of their housemate chili oil and one of spices. My dining partner was thrilled!!

Definitely will return.

Diner Review №65

Food is way over priced. Doesn't have flavor. Authentic Thai food is flavorful. This place seems watered down to cater to a non Thai taste. I guess it's ok if you don't know any better.

The atmosphere is nice and the service is great. I just prefer a genuine Thai restaurant. The quality of food you get for the price isn't justified.

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

Really great pineapple duck curry but it was a bit spicier than the expected 2. Still delicious though. Great service.

Diner Review №68

All three dishes we got were great, and our group especially loved the #30! I also appreciated that the menu clearly identified gluten free options, and it noted that almost all dishes on the menu could be made GF upon request. We’ll be back soon!!

Diner Review №69

Diner Review №70

Amazing papaya salad! Great owners, customer service! Very kid friendly yet super nice restaurant with great ambiance. 10/10

Diner Review №71

Diner Review №72

Naviya's has excellent Thai food at reasonable prices. We had the basil fried rice, the spicy noodles, Pad Thai and Massaman curry plus an order of shrimp egg rolls. Everything was great, especially the fried rice, but the curry dish was very sweet so we wouldn't order that next time. We were seated right away on a Saturday night. Service was attentive and fast!

Diner Review №73

Panang curry, excellent flavors.

Diner Review №74

Red curry, Pad Thai, friendly and caring staff. Small shared parking lot next door at Jones Coffee ☕. Great for vegetarians.

Diner Review №75

My daughter invited me and my wife for lunch at this unique restaurant. I drove for about 35 mins to get there and I was wondering why should I drive for that long just to eat! It was well worth it. The food was super delicious, the atmosphere was cozy despite the construction going on and it was just a good “old school feel”. I will be back again soon for sure.

Diner Review №76

Really delicious Thai food at reasonable prices.

Diner Review №77

Diner Review №78

I always have an amazing meal at Naviya’s! Recently had the Green Papaya salad which comes with sticky rice, chicken satay and lettuce leaves for wrapping the salad in. It was so delicious (spice level 2). Another favorite of mine is the Tom Kha soup, and the fresh spring rolls with chicken and shrimp. Such great service too. The interior is a chic simple modern feel and has been recently updated. One of my favorites!

Diner Review №79

Cheese wantons and traditional green curry and red curry were great. The massaman curry was too sweet for me, as they had sweet potato and carrots.

Diner Review №80

Wow this place is delicious!! I'm a Thai food lover and have enjoyed it at restaurants across the world, including Thailand! And this is VERY high up on the list! LOVE the variety of vegetables included in all the dishes we chose. Lettuce wraps were the best I've ever had - loved the cauliflower, red pepper bits and rice crunches you could add. I ordered sweet Basil spice level 5/6. Freshest of fresh veggies, perfectly prepared chicken and flavor was round and perfectly spiced.

I should also mention that it's a very non-spice friendly place, too. One person in our group ordered no spice , another a kennel 3 and me 5/6 and all of us LOVED our meals. I'll definitely be back!

Diner Review №81

One of my favorite Thai places in Minnesota. Specifically the curries. There’s a red “elegant and thunderous” and green “jungly and spry” that I absolutely love. Flavorful and you pause just to savor it. It’s a cute small dine in space. Great date night vibes.

Diner Review №82

Love this food! We shared fried wontons, Panang with shrimp and Spicy noodles with chicken. I will be back!

Diner Review №83

Been here few times. Authentic and Vegetarian Thai options are so very limited in Twin cities . Red curry and basil fried rice are my family favorites here . Good tom ka gai soup and spring rolls too.

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

Waited quite awhile to receive the menus.. had to wait a great deal for the check as well. Good food , like that you can adjust spice level to suit your individual taste.

Diner Review №86

Delicious gem in Linden Hills. Every bit is flavorful and delicious.

Diner Review №87

Coconut Lemongrass Soup was divine

Diner Review №88

So good! And kid friendly!

Diner Review №89

The best Thai food! So flavorful and pleasing and the heat was right on. The wait staff was fun and friendly. Definitely one of our favorites anywhere.

Diner Review №90

The main waiter was amazing and attentive. The wonton were my favorite! We got the spicy noodles which had a lot of veggies too.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars for service is because the younger guy was eating up front the entire time and checked his phone instead of scanning the room to refill waters, clean tables to help the solo serve. The main server had to keep telling the kid to go clean, hand out to go boxes, re -fill water.

Diner Review №91

We came without reservations on a Saturday evening. They were quite busy but gave us a table outside. Despite being busy, our server was attentive and we got our food amazingly fast. We got the spring rolls, pad Thai and pineapple duck curry, every dish was delicious. It was just what we needed. I was sad that I was too full to get the mango sticky rice dessert. The only downside is the outside tables are right by the road.

Diner Review №92

Excellent food.

Diner Review №93

This was our first time here and we loved it. The service was efficient and friendly, the atmosphere was nice, but the food stole the show. We ordered three items and split it up. The papaya salad was our favorite and ridiculously good. The Rama Thai was out next favorite, with a great sauce and smoky flavor. We also really liked the sweet soy noodles. If you want some outstanding Thai food, it’s worth a trip to Naviya’s!

Diner Review №94

Awesome food! My top favorite thai restaurant in the twin cities! Ambience and service both are great.

Diner Review №99

Very high quality food and good service. Bright and tasty. Good ingredients and attention to detail. Can’t go wrong.

Diner Review №100

Diner Review №101

The food was amazing!! Really good Thai cuisine. We had the Spicy Lemongrass Soup and the Sweet Thai Basil with Duck. Everything was good, with just the expected amount of spice. Will definitely come again to try more things.

Diner Review №102

The green curry is so smooth and creamy my daughter got the chicken pad tai and loved the noodles and the chicken was so tender!!

Diner Review №103

Had a wonderful experience at Naviya's Thai Kitchen! Loved all the dishes that we had ordered - Panang curry , Thai Basil fried rice , pad Kee mow noodles and Thai iced tea. The dishes were flavorful and we shall surely come back again! 🥹❤️

Diner Review №104

Diner Review №105

Amazing flavors, cool neighborhood. Slightly different Thai than I’m used to and it was great!

Diner Review №106

Good food, bad overall experience.

In the restaurant business they say "people come for the food, but they return for the experience."

Honestly, the food was really good, but the restaurant is tiny, and it's clear they don't know how to manage it. We were told there would be a 30-60 minute wait for 2 people, so we decided to wait. We weren't seated for 1.5 hours, and they messed up the list and seated someone who arrived after us first.

When we were seated the waitress was very helpful but kept getting pulled in different directions by other staff members, so you could tell she was frustrated.

If this restaurant had better management, better trained staff, and perhaps a computer that could help them estimate wait times, it would be ok. Probably won't go back, even though the food was really good.

Diner Review №107

Our first time....loved it.

Diner Review №108

Fast and friendly service for takeout, delicious Penang and Massaman curry! Try it 😋

Diner Review №109

We happened to be in the area and decided to look for Thai food to eat. We ate the papaya salad (comes with sticky rice and we chose beef jerky on the side) and spicy noodles with shrimp (love the vegetables that come stir fried with it too). The food is very authentic and flavorful. The portion sizes are reasonable for the prices we paid.

Their Thai ice coffee and Thai ice tea drinks are good too. Definitely worth coming back to try the other dishes the next time we are in the area!!.

Diner Review №110

Diner Review №111

I'm not really in the business of giving bad reviews. But to be honest this food is underwhelming especially for the price.

Diner Review №112

Excellent food! Get here early or have reservations. It is generally busy, crowded (due to its excellent food) and a bit noisy.

Diner Review №113

Food was good with quality ingredients but the panang curry was more of a stir fry and less of a curry. Please add some sort of a description to the menu to let customers know that the curries are plated/served differently than a traditional thai restaurant as it messes the spice level and expectations that one is used to ordering with a curry.

Diner Review №114

Our server was very attentive and helpful about the dishes. The food was excellent. I had Curry Chicken and the spice was just perfect. We will definitely return

Diner Review №115

Diner Review №116

Diner Review №117

So good, all around.

Diner Review №118

Nearly every dish contains an identical assortment of minnesota garden vegetables that are not found in authentic Thai dishes. This restaurant would never survive in an area where Thai food was understood well.

Diner Review №119

Pad Thai is excellent

Diner Review №120

Came here on NYE and the food was impeccable as always. Plus the music was absolutely BANGING

Diner Review №121

Diner Review №122

I love the stir fries! The staff are friendly and our server gave us recommendations for appetizers when we couldn't decide. No cocktails but I've liked all the wine I've had.

Diner Review №123

Diner Review №124

Diner Review №125

Post courthouse wedding celebration lunch! Loved the food, apps are DELISH. Get the chicken satay FOR SURE. loved the main course - all the veggies were super fresh. The service was also amazing, we brought our own cake and champagne, and they were really nice about letting us have our own little celebration. I'd go back in a heartbeat, can't wait to try more items on the menu.

Diner Review №126

Must do!!!

Diner Review №127

Best Thai in MN hands down. Amazing food

Diner Review №128

Delicious food! We all shared the cheese wontons and their veggie spring rolls and it was delightful 😊 The red curry dish is super tasty and super hot! 😜

Diner Review №129

The quality and freshness of the ingredients at Naviayas is unmatched as far as Thai food is concerned. We always have delicious meals when dining in or taking out. Great options for vegetarian and gluten free. You can't go wrong!

Diner Review №130

Diner Review №131

Some of the best Thai food I have had in the cities. This will be my go to from now on!

Diner Review №132

Overall is too sweet for me. The hot stir plate is pretty fresh and nice, ordered with Shrimp. Dong yum gong is extra sweet, a little disappointed. Pho is also sweet. The dishes will be way better if less sugar added. Didn't order curry, might be good.

Diner Review №133

Very delicious Thai food, Food portions are very decent. We ordered Thai basil fried rice, it was up to the expectations. I would highly recommend this place.

Diner Review №134

Loved the sleek, cozy vibe of this place. Server was friendly and service was great. The food…that was the real killer! Our party of 7 all loved our food—and we debated about the various spice levels (3 was almost too much for me, but it was still super delicious!). Happy to go back any time!

Diner Review №135

Diner Review №136

My husband and I are IN LOVE with this place. I am picky about my Thai food and this place hits every time. They are very consistent, fresh, and delicious. The employees are all very kind, lovely people as well!

Diner Review №137

Diner Review №138

Service was pretty bad. We waited for more then 15 minutes for appetizer. The waiter forgot our sticky rice order, never come back for water, forgot the bag for our leftover after we asked. The laab tasted ok, curry dishes better.

Diner Review №139

Had a great meal at Naviya. We loved the newer decor and had a phenomenal meal, cream cheese wantons also highly recommended.

Diner Review №140

Diner Review №141

It was the 1st cold and rainy day of the season. A big bowl of Pho really hit the spot. The steamy aroma followed by the excellent broth and rice noodles was perfect. It was well spiced with plenty of vegetables and a bowl of extra spice on the side.

Diner Review №142

So good! The veggies taste fresh and almost all items can be made vegan. We had the lettuce wraps, papaya salad, and panang curry 😋!!!

Diner Review №143

Great Thai food. I love the wok char. The service was great. We loved everything. I will be back when in town again.

Diner Review №144

Clean, fun place in old part of town. Appetizers of chicken satay & lettuce wraps are spot-on delicious; a taste of what’s to come. Entrees were seasoned as labeled and wonderful. Extensive beer & wine selections. 🔸Everything (ex Pho) is or can be made gluten-free!!! Service was prompt & professional.

Diner Review №145

All the veggies taste so fresh and not overcooked. We love Naviyahs and love to share it with friends.

Diner Review №146

Diner Review №147

Amazing Restaurant, it might seem a little bit pricey but they serve plenty food!
Will eat here again for sure

Diner Review №148

Flavorful Thai food, fast pick-up, very delicious. a little low on the spice level even at the highest levels you can order.

Diner Review №149

Diner Review №150

Service was great but I wasn’t impressed with the food

Diner Review №151

Some of the best Thai food that I’ve ever had! My sister and I split the spring rolls and veggie green curry and WOW it was flavorful, a little spicy, the veggies cooked to perfection. Good service, reasonably priced, and nice to sit outside on a beautiful fall day. Lots of great gluten-free options as well!

Diner Review №152

Good food, but the 10% service charge added at the end of a to-go order is underhanded. Support restaurants, but not dishonest business practices.

Edit: to clarify, both the service charge and its hidden nature are underhanded. Why not raise prices by 10% instead if it's not meant to be a hidden charge?

Diner Review №153

Great food! Flavor was on point, veggies were crisp and fresh, and server was very attentive.
We asked for more heat/spice with our dishes and they delivered - my nose was running. Thumbs up, we’ll be back.

Diner Review №154

Food was delicious! We each had a different curry dish and all noticed the vegetables were elevated with a lovely grill char. So delicious! We’ll be back!!

Diner Review №155

Best Thai food in Minnesota!
My only regret is not taking pics to share with you.
We devoured the pad thai, yellow curry, kids fried rice, and holy basil supreme w/duck. Although a bit pricey, the flavors and portions are easily 10/10. Definitely a nice little taste of Bangkok and definitely a recommend if you’re craving upscale Thai eats!

Diner Review №156

Diner Review №157

Is it just my imagination or have the takeout containers gotten smaller? Not sure how much I'll be ordering in the future if this is the case.

Diner Review №158

Pineapple fried rice, no flavor, blah. Spring rolls wrapping rubbery and hard to chew. Very disappointed

Diner Review №159

10/10 local. And best Thai iced tea in town!

Diner Review №160

We've been here for the first time today and were very torn. We had the coconut lemongrass soup and a curry. The curry was OK (two stars for that). Unfortunately the soup was terrible. Basically water with some coconut milk and lemon juice. The vegetables were totally uncooked. I like fresh vegetables that still have bite, but no raw carrots in my soup. The waiter took back the soup and checked with the kitchen. Apparently this is how their soup is supposed to be. Can make my own coconut water for much less at home. Don't think we'll be back.

Diner Review №161

Diner Review №162

So freaking good!

Diner Review №163

Found that the dishes are seriously underspiced (for flavor and savor). Chicken dishes at $18-$20 have a laughably small amount of chicken, which was also not flavorful or delicate. The dishes just didn't shine with traditional Thai flavors -- was more like a Chinese takeout impression. Will keep looking for good Thai over on western side of metro area.

Diner Review №164

So happy to a found this place been looking for great Thai food for a long time!!! Party of six everybody ordered different things and we’re all very happy! Law our server was amazing! Can’t wait to go back! 👍👍

Diner Review №165

The good:
1. The owner seemed like a really nice guy.
2. This is the first restaurant chair I have been seated in quite some time that was actually fairly comfortable.
3. The food was served hot.

The fair enough:
You order your food by spicy heat level. No spice, level 1, level 2, level 3...up to level 5. Normally no matter where it is, I would choose level 2. At this restaurant level 2 was so hot that it was almost inedible. I tried a level 1 and it was about right.

The bad:
The food was un/under seasoned. There was no salt/pepper condiments at the table. Basically it was like little more than eating steamed vegetables in a spicy hot soup. Had I been paying the bill, we would have gotten up and gone elsewhere. To me, the available flavors were not worth the money. I have eaten Americanized Thai, Authentic Thai, and multiple Thai Fusion dishes...and this was most disappointing!

Diner Review №166

Diner Review №167

I love all of the veggies they add to add their dishes! The Panang curry and the cream cheese wontons were both spot on. However, the green curry and green papaya salad were both pretty big misses for us. We found them both to be cloyingly sweet. We also felt the papaya salad was missing some core flavors (lime, garlic and fish sauce). We were only able to detect the peanuts and palm sugar.

Diner Review №168

Food is always fresh, staff is friendly, and food allergies are accommodated. The papaya salad is a must try. Pictured here is the pad kee mow, drunken noodles, laced to my taste with their delicious chili oil. I will warn you - this oil packs a punch! Easily my favorite Thai spot in the area.

Diner Review №169

My wife and I have been here multiple times. The food is great, cool vibe, and nice staff. Will definitely be back

Diner Review №170

Wow, how did I just discover this place?
Their Thai food was so rich in flavor and the ingredients were really fresh. This might be my favorite Thai spot after living in MN for 12 years!

Diner Review №171

The wife’s favorite.

Diner Review №176

I cannot express enough how amazing the food is here. My partner and I were visiting from out of town and tried Naviya's based on the reviews. We were blown away by the preparations. This is a family owned and run restaurant. We were served by a very friendly son-in-law of the owner who explained that all the recipes were authentic family recipes. I often hesitate ordering fish in a "non-seafood" restaurant but we ordered a dish that included cod. The cod was prepared perfectly along with the accompanying veggies. We also ordered a curry dish that was not served with a soup-like consistency as in most Thai restaurants. It was a thicker curry which intensified the flavors. I would have given 10 stars if allowed. We will absolutely return every time when traveling to MSP.

Diner Review №177

Our favorite Thai food in the Twin Cities. Always fresh and tasty. Veggies are always crisp, never over cooked. Good variety of dishes also. Highly recommended.

Diner Review №178

My personal favorite is #40….red curry with so many fresh veggies and I always add shrimp. Just a touch spicey! I have been dining in and taking out from Naviyas for 10 years and can always 100% count on the tastiest freshest ingredients every time! This is a gem of a family owned business.

Diner Review №179

Chill vibe. Nice wine glasses. Carefully made food. Great people. Reasonably priced. Hot spice levels go from "Minnesota spice" Al the way to "Thai spicy".

Diner Review №180

Talk about amazing food!! Great environment and music. Food was beyond my expectations!

Diner Review №181

Diner Review №182

The best!!!

Diner Review №183

Amazing flavors, large portions and beautiful environment! Definitely will be back!

Diner Review №184

Diner Review №185

Great food and vegan options! They are also aren't afraid of adding some real spice to their dishes, which is a rarity in Minnesota!

Diner Review №186

Diner Review №187

Love this place. Best egg rolls ever!

Naviya's is my favorite restaurant in the cities. Even though we live more than 40 minutes from this place now we still always come here for date night. Great veggie options and wonderful atmosphere, can't recommend Naviya's enough!

The best,… and I’m really picky. TomYum soup is spot on,… Red Curry is delectable…Service always on point, and if there is such thing as gourmet thai food, this is it. Bravo Team!

Support this amazing, local business! The food is delicious and the service is great. Be patient on order times - it’s worth the wait!

Best Thai in the Twin Cities! The pad thai is tasty but also feels fairly nutritious compared to other pad thai dishes I've had. The curry (green, red, or other) is spicy and delicious. I've never eaten inside but their carry out has been there for me for a few years now and I cannot recommend them more. I do miss the curry trio but understand the need to remove it from the menu.

Food is great, but the ordering process is awful. I can understand early issues, but 2 years later, every order is always 20-30 minutes late. No communication or update on when order will be done, just a dozen people hanging out waiting for food.

I love everything about Naviyas. The food is incredible, delicious, and fresh. My favorite is #40 with shrimp. The yummiest red curry ever! Great beer and wine selection as well as fabulous take out.

Had this place on my list to try. Went for dinner. No wait for a table at 8pm. That was nice. Dining room was bright and clean. The staff were nice and quick. I got chicken laab (ground chicken with fresh herbs, lime juice, toasted rice powder, and spices) and a key lime tart. I asked for the laab hot and it was which a plus and can be hard to find in the twin cities (because I’m sure Americans order spicy dishes complain about them being too spicy).

The food tasted great. Like I said, the laab tasted as I’d expect with a proper amount of heat (notably hot). The key lime tart was really good; properly tart rather than sweet and it had a nice smooth texture without being too soft and pudding-like. I’m taking off a star for two things. If it were out of 10 stars, I would take away 1 star for each and give 8/10. They were out of sticky rice, which is unfortunate since laab is best with sticky rice. The lettuce was probably cut early in the day or the head was older because the outside few layers were too soft to use to pick up the food. I would like to bring a friend and try again. If I do and there’s sticky rice and firmer lettuce I’ll change my review to 5 stars (9/10)

Absolutely fantastic! I judge a good Thai restaurant by how good their papaya salad is, and how spicy they can make it. Naviya has the best papaya salad in the Twin Cities! Every dish they serve is top rate, authentically made and authentically spicy if you want it to be.
