Food as good but service was really slow (there was only me and a family in the restaurant) and it took 23 mins to get my appetizer and 30 mins to get my boat noodle. I thought the size of the medium boat noodle was way too small but the waiter was very nice and they decided to give me free pepper sauce for my e-san sausages which was nice. I would order again but only for pick up - would not dine-in again 3.5/5 🌟

I came here for a lunch outing with my father because he ate here with my mother a few weeks ago and said it was good. He was a little disappointed this time as the food wasn’t as good as the last time he was here. I had the beef Lo Mein and I thought it tasted good. The presentation of the food was done very well in my opinion, as well. I thought the portion of food seemed like a good portion because I was able to easily make 2 meals out of it. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to someone who would like to try something new and see what you would think of it.

The rice was off, a little crusty on a corner. Overall, I'd say don't waste your money here for sushi. Their Thai and other dishes might taste better buy definitely not the sushi. The service could've been better even though they were friendly, but that doesn't make up for quality.

Had dinner for 2. The service was fast and the staff was very friendly. It was not busy at all—upon arrival it looked like the restaurant was closed because of how empty it was but this must be a common misconception because they had a sign telling guests they’re open & to come inside (much appreciated!) My partner and I weren’t sure how the food would be but we’re happy we gave this place a shot because the food turned out good! We got pho, sushi, and gyoza. The pho was pleasantly sweet and the sushi was delicious. Gyoza was great too! All in all, we killed the food.

The food was amazing! My husband got the dragon roll and fried rice. I got the yoyar roll and fried rice.
The reason for the 3-star review is because they were out of everything. And the little boy they have for a waiter had to ask the boss about everything.
When we asked for a refill on a soda, they brought out the diet version saying that they were "all of a sudden" out of the original soda.
The sushi roll my husband got, they substituted the fish for another type because they were out of the original.

Luckily, these are the only first world problems I faced today.

I ordered a lot of food. When you order online, they said they didn't see all of the items that I ordered. They forgot some of the food, which was needed to enjoy the main dishes... I like the food, but don't order anything online.. It's too bad, because I thought that I found a new place, but after they wouldn't deliver what they forgot. I refuse to go back.

A couple of dishes we ordered were great but, the green mussels were horrible! They tasted old and rubbery. The service was poor. Ordered takeout and they didn’t have all the food. We had to go back and get the missing food.

We have ordered here approximately 6 times in the past 2 months and something in the past 4 orders has been wrong (often adding meat to explicitly vegetarian orders). Food is okay, but not great. Because the takeout orders have been repeatedly incorrect several times in a row, we likely won’t do take out here any longer. Also, when we called about our most recent incorrect order, the person on the phone hung up on us.

Yoyars food is delicious and spice level is perfect at request.
I ordered the kao soi and it came out looking exactly like the beautiful photo in the menu and tasted delicious. The pad tai had excellent flavor and large portion. The food is priced very reasonably, cheaper than competitors. The restaurant is clean and staff are polite. This is an excellent restaurant.

Spring rolls were good, sushi was surprisingly GREAT, and the Pad Thai was a big hit!!! The price was a great value for everything we got. The atmosphere was only ok but we didn’t come here for the atmosphere. It was perfect for a delicious and reasonably priced date night. We will definitely be back!!

Horrible service! Ordered food and it was done incorrectly. When I called to let them know, I was treated as if I was lying. Had to bring back to food to prove their mistake. The business should be improving but they are going down hill. I asked for extra sauce in my order and was not provided what I asked for. I offered to pay for it and instead just received an attitude as if I didn’t ask for it with my order. This was a to-go order so I had to come back to get my correct order and prove their mistake. The staff refused to give me a name to complain to the owner. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. I have spent so much money here, and not even an apology. Just treated as if I made the food incorrectly when the order was clear on the receipt.

Food was tasteless. Ordered veggie rolls, PadSee Ew, Pad Thai, Orange Chicken, fried rice, sticky rice. Threw most of it in the trash, a waste of over $70. The ONLY reason for the 2 stars was the service was good.

We tried YOYAR for the first time. We picked up sushi, cream cheese wontons, salmon pumpkin curry, Lo Mein and Sesame Chicken.
The food was hot and full of great flavor. The mild lo Mein had a good spice level for a wimp. It was spicy.
The big chunks of salmon and pumpkin in the curry was a spectacular surprise. Normally the salmon are flakes and the pumpkin is pureed.
The crunchy California Roll was quite satisfying with its balance of spicey and crunchy.
I will definitely be coming back. This is a great Thai restaurant ❤️

My favorite is Pad Lawn with shrimp. I take mine with no spice because I can't handle spicey food. Very tasty and food always comes out hot! They can get busy on Friday evenings. Most time we haven't had to wait long for our food.

I order three Thai dishes usually from Thai places: Drunken noodles, Thai basil fried rice, and what ever wings they have.

Tonight I tried Yoyar. Drunken noodles, Thai basil fried rice and spicy wings. This was the BEST three out of any place in the twin cities.

The Drunken noodles were thin, rich, and the medium spice was purpose. The fried rice didn't clump, the basil was fantastic, and the flavors were great.

And the glaze and cut on the spicy wings was perfect. Wow. Fan for life.

The cream cheese wontons are awesome, especially when they are first served warm. The red curry, California rolls and salmon maki were all good. The pho was ok. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed the food and service for my first three visits here. Definitely will going back and tasting different curries and sushi.

Lovely little place! We usually get takeout, but I would eat in if the occasion called for it. We love the food - the spring rolls are made with such fresh ingredients! The pad Thai could use more meat and veg and toppings to noodles ratio, but it's still great. We love the red, green, and peanut curries! Wonderful service and good pricing. Best Thai around!

Great sushi at a good price

We live in IGH but haven’t been here in years. Wow! We have been missing out. Food was excellent. Never had such crispy tender sesame chicken. All appetizers were amazing. What a gem!!

Absolutely will be back. Had a curry noodle soup, some sushi and a stir fried wide noodle dish. Drove up on a whim and was so good. Fried rice especially awesome.

Other favorites are the gyoza and wontons, I'm picky about these appetizers but am never disappointed here!

It doesn't have the chewy texture and it was more salty than sweet. I even asked for extra noodles, which was not even added. The most current photo is to the right.

The food here is great! My favorites are their Pad se ew, pad thai, and all their curry dishes. I used to work in a Thai restaurant before, and this place is pretty good. Compared to some of the other restaurants in the cities. The sushi here is pretty good, too, but I prefer their Thai food. Nothing wrong with their sushi. It's fresh, good quality, and quantity for the prices. The spice is on point, too, so be careful! Haha

I do agree that the exterior of the restaurant needs some work to make it more approachable. But the area is pretty safe and quiet.

Cream cheese wontons were delicious, as was the spice seafood dish. I prefer more cellophane noodles in egg rolls, so not my cup of tea. I did enjoy the sweet green tea in small doses as it was typically heavy. I'll eat there again. Service was wonderful. Food served hot and fast.

I've loved everything I've gotten at Yoyar. Sushi rolls are awesome! Soups and entrees have all been excellent, and I love the Mango rice. They top it off with kind and generous service. I'm consistently impressed.

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD! The food from here is freakin amazing. I've lived in IGH for years and saw when this place opened up but never had the time or the mind to go in until I ordered delivery earlier this week. I will be back again and again. Pad Thai was phenomenal, the cream cheese wontons and homemade sweet sour sauce are unparalleled. Can't wait to go have lunch in person. 10 out of 10 for YOYAR.

Update: We dined in for lunch, today. The service was great and the food came out quick. I had a huge plate of piping hot shrimp curry fried rice. It was delicious!

I have never eaten here. But you people that leave bad reviews to a place that just opened make me sick so by default they get 5 stars. You complainers should cook for yourselves and stop eating out. They just opened give them a chance.

This was our first trip and eating vegan can complicate where we can go. The food was delicious - first time I've found a good vegetable egg roll - and the tofu was cooked well without being too spongy. If you are vegan, my only recommendation would be to state " no egg" as we both ordered dishes that didn't include egg in the menu description but were present when the plates arrived. Next time we'll be specific so we don't have to pick them out again.

Great to see Thai food in this location, however I think they’re still getting the hang of things? Food came out quickly but service needs some tweaking. Highly recommend the flavorful chicken satay even if you don’t know what it is (like a skewer), & the sushi rolls were really good.

The food had no taste. Very bland and no flavorings or spices were offered. The personnel were great. Courteous and helpful but we wont go back because the food just wasn't good.

Here's the thing, have the right expectations going in, this isn't the place to come for atmosphere or extremely professional service but the food is by far the best Asian food we've had in the area. We had shrimp fried rice, pad Thai and Tom yum soup and all 3 were phenomenal. If you just want great food and don't care about the frills, can't beat this spot!!!

Got delivery from here tonight & we got 3 different rolls & vegetable lo mein. They came super quickly & their sushi came in individual containers which I loved! Way better than having every roll squished into one. 10/10 would recommend & will definitely try more things from here.

But, hey, far be it from me to not try a new restaurant. The weirder the better, right??? Me, my wife, and 26-year-old son decided to try the Thai food at Yoyar. Our local Thai favorites are Mango Thai, Thai Garden, Ruam Mit Thai, and Thai Cafe. WOW! We were blown away by how on point Yoyar Thai food is! As fresh as Mango Thai! Tastier than Ruam Mit Thai! And they hit the spice level PERFECTLY for ALL of our dishes. Wow! We started with Fresh Spring Rolls #1. EXCEPTIONAL texture, freshness & flavor with their homemade sauce! Thai Iced Coffee - second best to Thai Cafe! Pad Cashew Nut - Better than at Ruam Mit Thai! Curry Fried Rice - PERFECT texture, and SO tasty! Beef & Broccoli - Tender steak, perfectly sautéed broccoli (bright green, not soggy). The chefs at Yoyar clearly care about their food. All great, PLUS Yoyar has a convenient parking lot too! We can't wait to go back to try more Thai dishes and, oh yeah, the SUSHI!

Wonderful food! I've never actually eaten inside but I would love to because it's really spacious and well taken care of! We've had the Red Curry, Orange Chicken, Pad Kee Mao, fresh spring rolls, and cream cheese wontons and everything was wonderful. Seriously though, my father raved about the curry.

Usually they're rice is good but more and more they've been skimping on the rice. Today I ordered the sesame chicken for the 1st time and it was cold and they put like 12 pieces of chicken in and added more vegetables to fill it in. It was disgusting. The girl who works up front had an attitude and that wasn't every nice. I'll probably won't go back after this.

My first time here. I ordered Pad kee mao (drunken noodles) which was hot and delicious. It didn't have any spicy in it at all which I would expect in drunken noodles. But I was able to or
ask for some hot Thai chili on the side to add as I liked. None of the tables had any condiments on them at all, like soy sauce or anything like that. Which I found kind of interesting. My meal was delicious and I would have given this five stars except for piping over the restaurant stereo (loudly) was a Christian sermon. Not even Christian music but an actual sermon by a pastor from some church. I found it annoying and distracting but like I said the meal was good.

Food came out fast!! Customer service was great!! Came just before the dinner rush!! Got rice,eggs rolls, chicken satay and sushi for 40$ very reasonable !! Love the food

Worst Thai food of my life. Almost every dish was way too salty and I was the only one in our party of four who finished mine (barely). The menu specifically indicates that diners can order curry mild to medium to spicy, but the curry my wife was served was super spicy, in spite of her requesting mild. The server shrugged this off by saying all curry is the same. Our bill even had "MILD" noted. One of my companion's sesame chicken was too mealy in texture to eat. Another companion has spring rolls that were too flavorless to eat, but at least that dish want ovwr-salted.

1st time we ordered food was OK seemed a bit high priced. 2nd time (will be our last) called in order. Got there they seem to NOT HAVE A CLUE. After a good while came out with 3 small bags. Order was over $80. Portions were 1/2 as much as 1st time. They completely ignored amount of spice and 1 dish well,, God only knows what that was. 3 people all left the table hungry. $80 Chinese or alternate Thai we normally would have had 2-3 days of left overs. Doesn't look good for these folks. Regardless if restaurant serves Mexican, Chinese, Thai or whatever THEY MUST BE CONSISTENT. BTW - the $80+ did include a minimum tip but even without this was ANYTHING BUT WORTH IT! I do NOT recommend!!! What a shame. IGH needs good food places but they MUST be able to read & understand what is ordered. There was only 1 other party eating at the time so they weren't overinendated with a rush. More like "Asleep on the job" JMHO`

My daughter and I stopped in here for an impromptu lunch; we weren't sure about this new place, we were a little on guard because the restaurant that was here before, frankly, sucked. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor is fun to look at, the staff is welcoming, and the food is great. My only wish was that we'd been offered chopsticks along with forks and spoons, since that's how we prefer to eat.

The food was good! Not often do we go out and say. "That hit the spot" The staff was very attentive. Everything we got was hot and fresh. The sushi was also very good. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

Ordered with a group from work and we are all impressed with the food. We loved everything we Ordered. Truly the best cream cheese puffs I have ever had and the rest of the food is true to the spice you order. We will Definitely Order again.

Got some spicy Thai peanut curry and spicy pineapple tofu fried rice for takeout on my way home. Everything was delicious and I am very eager to try this restaurant again. Curry is a favorite of mine, and there aren’t many places around inver grove heights that sells it. Restaurant looked clean on the inside, so I might try going in to have a sit down meal next time.

The place was clean, staff were nice, and the food came out quickly. The salmon philly roll was very good, I will definitely be getting it again! The Thai pepper steak was good and spicy! Prices were reasonable too. We definitely will be regularly eating here!

We went here today for a late lunch. Very good food and great service. Everything came out super fast, was hot and tasted very fresh. Perhaps the woman complaining about slow service shouldn’t visit an establishment during their busiest times if she can’t have any patience. Rude!

The food was amazing--the Sesame Chicken had really good flavor and the cream cheese wontons were light, crispy. Yum. Also got the Pad Thai which is one of their most popular dishes. It was super delicious!

I ordered shrimp lomein and it was excellent! Will definitely be back many times whether it is takeout or dine in. The restaurant has been fully remodeled and very clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Let's support this new business so they remain in Inver Grove Heights for many years to come!

The food here is excellent. We've eaten here twice and will be returning often. The curries are sublime. The pad thai had excellent flavor. The egg roll and spring rolls were very good. And everyone loved the sweet, sticky mango rice dessert. This place is a gem. We haven't tried the sushi yet, but I've heard its good.

ZERO star rating. This place is run by arrogant people who have no respect for their customers. I have an egg allergy and I told them about it when placing the order. When I reached there to pick up my order, I heard women in the back repeating my order and saying 'No egg' and laughing out loud as how can there be egg in this dish? How insensitive! I am sorry but I am not familiar with the ingredients of thai cuisine so I have to mention my allergies to be safe. YOU WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN. Get some hospitality training for your workers.

The food here is wonderful. We've ordered the sushi twice and are going to dry some curry dishes tonight. Any time I go to a restaurant that makes mango and sticky rice I order it. This is by far the best I've ever had. Really, really love the food.

I wanted to like this place because it's super close to our house, but the service was so slow we ended up leaving before we could even try the food. It wasn't even that busy three other tables besides us.

We ordered pad Thai and sesame chicken… I thought it was great. It was a very nice surprise!! Happy to have a great Thai restaurant close to home

The Massaman Curry was perfect. My husband was jealous and wanted to keep tasting it. He ordered Pad Cashew Nut and enjoyed it as well. Can't wait to go back and try something else. Great to have close to home.

We wanted to give the new business a try for an early lunch this week. They just opened less than a week ago. The attention to us was great by the owners. We ordered fresh spring rolls, red curry and a red curry based noodle soup. To my joy, they were delicious! Inver Grove didn't have very many Thai spots. But this is the 3rd that I know, opened around the pandemic era. By far I liked Yoyar the best.
