Reminds me of my time in Thailand. The food has that telltale Thai spice I love and it came out quick as well. The hot tea was tasty as well. I hope more people come here!

It has, until very recently, been my favorite restaurant and cuisine ever. Unfortunately, food quality has begun to drop-off recently.

I now live quite far from this place, so when I get take-out from there I have to drive a couple of hours round-trip. I say this so you know just how much I have loved the food.

My favorite has always been their Hot and Sour Soup, and I usually get 2 or 3 orders of it so and eat for days. On my last order they gave me 3 containers of BROWN TASTELESS WATER. It was disgusting and I had to throw it all out. This wasn't just a single incident because 3 of my last 5 orders have also had watered down soup. This soup is normally very thick, rich and has been my favorite for over 25 years. Very sad.

I also get 2 main dishes, usually Pad Kra Tiem, and this was also watered down and nearly tasteless.

I would also like to point out that they have started charging a 4% surcharge for using a credit card. I understand that this become more widespread, however there is no way they are paying 4% fees for customers using credit cards.

At one point they had a sign on their counter that explained the newly added fee, but it clearly stated that there would be no added fee for using DEBIT CARDS. When I tried to use my debit card, the cashier refused to remove the charge, even though I pointed to their own sign. She just played dumb. The next time I came in the sign was gone.

This is a major disappointment and they have now lost a customer that was willing to drive quite far and spend upwards of $80 per visit just to do business with them.

It's just too expensive now to be sold watered down, tasteless food.

The absolute best Thai food around. The staff is always very friendly and nice. The atmosphere is very sedate and even when it's busy is still very pleasant. I already mentioned it but the food is outstanding, never had a problem or a bad meal experience here. Can't recommend enough.

I have been eating here for years since they opened. I often order the mixed vegetables curry in the red coconut milk. I have had great success customizing this dish to include the full variety of fresh vegetables and minus the baby corn, no bamboo shoots, or water chestnuts. I.like it spiced mild up. Just got another carry out today... very good 😊

Walked in for lunch place was dirty and no one was in there, odd, waited to be seated when the guy finally got off his cell phone watching videos at max volume, informed me that it is carryout only as he is sitting there doing nothing, it is a shame this place was great at one time sorry to see them fail due to lack of care.

Excellent Thai restaurant, one of my favorites. Recipes are all very good, you will not be disappointed with the food. Service, value, and cleanliness are all good. Try the Pla Dook Pad Ped. It’s an amazing fried catfish in Thai hot curry sauce.

I’m a door dasher and I’m just picking Up orders to earn a living! When you walk in no one comes out to greet you! And when she did she was RUDE!!Never saying hi may I help you! Finally I said here for a door dasher order I was ignored! I came back for another order the same day maybe 15 minutes later. I walked in sat down and another customer came in after me she greeted her with hi may I help you!! After she waited on that customer she walked right past me. I said excuse me and she cut me off going straight to the back! She came out handed me the order I guess because she’s JESUS and just knew which food to give me!! This place is terrible I guess because I’m black and the majority of customers are white!!!

We were looking forward to thai food tonight and boy what a disappointment...we ordered from Bangkok Cuisine at 26 and Van Dyke. The shrimps were way over cooked and you can tell they were cooked earlier. We wanted our pad thai and pad ped with extra sauce and all they did was add water to the sauce so it was so thin and had no flavor and didn't even coat the noodles. Can't believe how bad the food was tonight. Will not be going back

Curry was really good but everything else we ordered wasn’t very good. Big portions. Service was very bare bones. No atmosphere in the restaurant at all.

I used to order here quite a bit, before the prices went up everywhere, and it’s just not worth it to eat at restaurants anymore. I love their Thai iced teas very much, and they were always so rich and sweet.

So, I ordered one tonight, but it was nothing like I was expecting; it tasted like slightly flavored water. I figured something went wrong, so I told them what happened; the woman remade the drink after telling me it was how she always made it. After giving me the new one, she told me to tell her if it was any better…it was actually even less flavorful than the first one, but I just told her it was the same.

All she did was shrug, and walk away; no offer of a refund, or anything else.

I’m not in the habit of giving money to restaurants for something I’m not going to ingest.

It was just so careless; it left an impression. If you don’t care about my money or my experience, I’m not going to care about your restaurant.

I won’t be back. I used to like this place, but things have changed.

2 stars because it has been good in the past. Since then, the last couple orders I've placed have come to me wrong. No one cares to read directions and make sure customers get what they want. Adding ONE item to a kow pad should not be difficult at all. There's plenty of other Thai food places around here, I'll go to them instead.

This was some of the worst thai food I've ever had. Our food was cold even though I had to wait 10 minutes for it to be ready. The sauce on the pad pak was gelatinous and absolutely flavorless. The drunken noodles were also flavorless and dried out. I threw most of mine away.

Never before have I had pad Thai soaked in greasey red sauce, it looked more like spaghetti with marinara sauce! NASTY! This is not Thai food !

I’m done trying to give this place my business. I called six times tonight trying to place a carry out order again. No answer. Last time I went there. Nobody even came to seat us after 15 minutes so we walked out.

Out of all the locations I think the 26 Van dyke location has the best cooks. Very consistent and yummy Gang Dang.

The crab Rangoon were the worst ever. They were filled with NO crab and less than a teaspoon of cream cheese . Also they were cold. Terrible

Food is great but rude customer service. Called into order and they don't even answer and say hi can you hold. They pick up the line say nothing keep talking in the background and when you return the call as it appeared to be a bad connection. They are heard again not answering the phone but talking in the background about how inpatient and rude people are! Learn to answer the phone and ask people to hold. You are the rude one!!

Spent 60 bucks here for 3 people. Absolutely horrible. This place used to be money. I ordered Pad Cashew with Scalops ,.medium spice. It's like they dumped a can of heinz beef gravy on a bunch of onions. No flavor at all , zero spice , 3 scallops , a couple cashews , no bamboo shoots. My wife ordered make your own lettuce wraps. The lettuce was brown and wilted , we had to use our own at home. My son ordered chicken fried rice and his was as bland as can be. None of us ate much. If you can't put out a good product because of staffing , or whatever the reason , then shut down. We will never order from here again. 😒

A few months ago I was very impressed, but tonight I was very disappointed in my meal. My order had two meals, both with shrimp as the protein. Neither meal had more than 5 or 6 shrimp in the container. I called to let the manager know I was disappointed in my meals, not expecting more than an, “I’m sorry and we hope you give us another chance.” I was met with being told that they count the shrimp and I was wrong because there were 10 shrimp in each meal and they for sure made sure there were 10 shrimp because they’re slow tonight. Well, I know why they’re slow, because their food is going downhill and their customer service is atrocious.

My first experience was two years ago and I wasn't impressed. For some reason I decided to try them again but this was the last time. They used 'jar sauce' on my chicken dish which was brown, thick and tasted nasty. How can a restaurant not make their sauces from scratch? It's difficult to crave Thai foo in Michigan with no clear winners for authenticity. This place has motivated me to make my own Thai food at home.

Ordered the same thing we get 2 times a week and there was meat in both dishes (we don't eat meat). Immediately called no answer, called again no answer, figured they were closed. Threw the food away and went hungry for the night after a 16 hr day. Called the next day to ask for a refund and was told they won't refund without the product back. What?? What would they do with it?.. well of course it's trash day and they've already come so it's not even possible. Paid more than usual thought it was a price increase nope price was higher for the meat. So I paid more, couldn't even eat it and then was told to bring the food back after I explained the garbage men had taken it. Been giving them my business for 7+ years and the order has been the same for 5. I won't give them my business again.

Why would anyone use "Waffle Fries" instead of potatoes in Massaman! The sauce wasn't very good (no peanut sauce flavor at all), and the waffle fries were under cooked and soggy (see picture). Overall very disappointed in this dish.

I used to frequent Bangkok Cuisine when i lived in Michigan, at various locations. Their food is so so good. First stop coming up from Tennessee was at this store. My favorite has always been the seafood curry.

Best Thai food around! Food is fast & always hot, they will also bring the heat if you like it spicy. All the dishes I’ve had are delicious. They currently are carry out only, but you won’t be disappointed. Big portions, always left overs, good the next day. Highly recommend this little gem.

The beat Thai food in America! Tum Yum soup is the nectar of the Gods! They use high quality ingredients. Real lemongrass and thai basil. Top quality, delicious food! So glad to have discovered this gem!

My family and I love bangkok cuisine location in Sterling Heights, we just moved in the area and decided to order takeout from there since we are familiar with the restaurant. Not sure if it’s because it’s a holiday weekend and they were extremely busy but 3/4 items we order were horrible. The pad Thai I requested had peanuts in it when I requested no peanut, I ordered the Bangkok chicken fried rice which is what the name on the menu was and they gave me orange chicken with white rice on the side and the spring rooks were disgusting. I was very disappointed with the taste maybe we will give them a try again in the future but not anytime soon.

Came here for take out (the only option right now). Entrees all come with a side of white rice. We ordered their Bangkok chicken, Pad Thai, and Pineapple Fried Rice all medium heat. Not only was all the food delicious for $36 the three of us had enough leftovers for several more meals each. Great value and very friendly staff willing to help. Food took about 20 minutes so I suggest to call ahead.

I've been to this location as well as the one in Rochester, and twice now I have found a long, nasty hair mixed in with my food. I understand mistakes happen, but twice is enough for me. I brought this to the managements attention at this location and I was offered 15% off my next meal. Seriously? They won't even credit me a new meal. Well, you can keep your 15%, because I'll never give you my business again.

Quick and good service

We ordered take out and they gave me something totally different than the same thing i order every time i go there. They kept putting us on hold and ignoring us then when they finally quit avoiding us, told us they're now in the process of closing and won't do anything about it. Maybe if they would've talked to us for 5 minutes instead of avoiding us for over 30 minutes they would've had plenty of time. Now they want us to keep this garbage and bring it in tomorrow for a replacement? They'll never get another dime from me. Screw this place.

My partner came in there to bring food home and ordered sour soup and some other food but when he arrived with the food the soup lid was not secured on the container for the soup and it ruined our dinner I would like to speak to the manager ASAP About the condition of my food and the carelessness of service towards the customer if I don’t here back from the owner of this establishment I will take my story to Channel 4 news and then Channel 7.

Very good Thai food. You just have to be careful when ordering the spice level. I ordered mild on my padprik and it burned my mouth off! It also may depend on which chef is cooking that day.

Everything we've tried has been delicious! Also their carryout containers are great, they seal up and don't leak (much) if they tip over in the car.
