I said ok because it's a 5 min drive..with snow should be 10...my husband pulls up and they are in their cars and pointed ro the door and said "foods there." It was on the ground by the door...talk about disrespectful and horrible service. If you cannot fulfill an order..just say so. And this was a SMALL ASS portion for 17.95...I'll stick to a classier place with workers who have respect to its customers...I'm disgusted...don't bother going to this place..they obviously care zero....👎👎👎

Food was not good. I got regular pad Thai. The noodles were dry and sticking together, they forgot to give my my peanuts. I had to but some from a Thai restaurant closer to my home. The lady who took my order was sweet, but really wasn't sure how to charge me for a vegetable melody to add to my meal. I came around to look at the computer and you can only add veggies separate and that wanna change an additional $2/ veggie you wanna add. Noway! There's another Thai restaurant I go to and it's only $1 for the added veggie melody... but I digress.

Dinner choice for the night. Our favorite Thai place is closed so it was time to try somewhere new. I got the Bangkok chicken, hot. Fried tofu. And spring rolls. The tofu could’ve been crispier, but it was still good. Not soggy or overly moist. The spring rolls are gigantic, comes with its own thing of crushed peanuts, and might be the best Thai spring rolls I’ve ever had. Had a strong carrot flavor but it was slightly sweet. Delicious. Crispy. 10/10. The Bangkok chicken was unique. More of a savory sauce than sweet which is typically what I’m used to. Totally different, but totally delicious. The heat level was nice, I was sweating by the end and it was hurting to eat. That’s how I like my Thai. The chicken was cooked well, nice and tender. Could use more green onion but I’ll say that even if I had so much I couldn’t see the chicken. 8/10. Will definitely go back.

So I am responding to the owner’s response to my review and in particular to the staff not speaking English our servers spoke English perfect no one greeted us with smiles the guy and the woman that took our orders spoke English like they are born here both were cold to us and the portions are smaller then other Thai restaurants in the area, have a good day and smile more.

Me and my friend walked in and right away. The guy looked at his watch to see what time it was automatically, I felt not welcome to eat there. Then the waitress comes and looks at us like we’re stupid. I don’t know maybe that’s because we’re American or something I have no idea. Even though we’re Europeans. They disappear for almost the entire time and on top of that the portions are super small for the price and the price is very expensive two people sat down to eat with tip and everything which I left 12% because of the service it was $84. Sorry Muchachos but that’s the kind of money I normally spend at a hibachi place or nice Italian restaurant, not a diner type place. By the way, this review isn’t here to ruin your business or talk smack it’s simply to help this company fix every part of their business as needed because I want them to flourish.

As others have noted tiny portions for three times the usual price in a blue collar strip mall. I told the cashier 15% tip and she added $15.00 and refused to correct. I am
filing a fraud investigation with Master Card and a police report. Go somewhere else unless you want to get ripped off twice.

I love the food at Eat Thai. Always very satisfied. Anyone who gives this place less then a 3 rating is just an idiot and should stick with Burger King.

Food was not ready when it was supposed to be. Soup was spilling in the bag. One of the meals had a huge, black hair attached to the noodles. When I called, they said I had to bring it back it for a refund, so I had to take time out of my lunch to drive back up there to get refunded. Staff were not friendly at all. As someone who’s worked in customer facing jobs for my entire life, I’m not at all happy with how they handled the situation. Everyone who ordered had lost their appetite from seeing the hair. If I could give zero stars I would. Will never go back.

Got Pad Thai with Tofu and 2 spring rolls. The Tofu was waaaay overcooked. The pad thai itself was pretty good, not the best I've had, but not the worst. The spring rolls were tasty, but very tiny like 2 inches. Overall, in a pinch it works, but if I have time I'm going somewhere else.

Worst tasting Thai food I have ever had. Waste of $65. The taste is so horrible. My family and I literally tried it, spit it out, and tossed it all away. I can not believe this. The drucken noodle has a very horrible toxic taste. And the curry noddle has a strong harsh taste.

Good is always good and consistent. Not sure why they charge extra for gluten free. Seems like they just take sauces out of the dish. Will order again but that would be questions.

This is my first time here. The food is decent, the complimentary hot and sour was okay, it was too gingery and salty for my liking. I will say, if you’re going during lunch, specify that you want lunch portion. I went during lunch and when it was time to pay I paid for a dinner. I asked the worker if it was supposed to be lunch and he said he gave me dinner. I know every restaurant is different, but if you get a dish with mostly veggies, like Veggie curry, and if you choose a meat, it’ll be extra. It would’ve been nice knowing that a choice of meat was extra. Definitely check!

Best Thai I’ve ever had. Had the Thai sausage and sticky rice which was delicious. Pad Thai was authentic and the right texture. If you know you know. Also, kudos for packaging. Everything was neat and no leaks. Found my new spot and it’s so close by. It’s hard to find good thai food, so don’t hesitate to eat here!

I’m familiar with all the Thai places in the area and I’ve always thought this place was good but I avoided them because they are the most expensive Thai place in the area by far. However, I do understand all restaurant are struggling with the massive increase in food costs and are essentially all taking a profit cut as they can’t possibly raise prices high enough to offset the increase in cost.

Also I’ve recently noticed that most of the Thai restaurants that are cheaper have actually massively cut the portion size. Eat Thai now actually has larger portion sizes than many places due to this. So in the end I think the extra price makes sense as I’ll have leftovers whereas if I try to save a couple dollars somewhere else I’ll end up with 30 to 40% less food.

And eat Thai still tastes better than most places in the area, so all in all I highly recommend.

This establishment has great customer service, great food, and the owners are attentive and nice. Very accommodating 10/10

I had their Garlicky dish with brown sauce and Crab Puffs. I didn't get a garlic taste but a cilantro instead. I used half my rice and half the dish, I had no brown sauce left. Was told they couldn't provide any that a entirely new dish had to be made. So I have none for the other half of my food. The Cab puffs were a good flavor but no Cab at all and a little too crunchy. My waitress was nice and attentive. Overall, was good.

Tasty food and pleasant atmosphere

I love this place so much. As someone with a sesame allergy, it’s hard to find Asian cuisine that I can have. This place doesn’t use any sesame products in their food and their food is soooo good every time.

Their Tom kha soup is genuinely one of the top 5 soups I’ve had in my entire life. I could bathe in it. When I’m eating it and I get close to the end, I shed some tears thinking about the fact that it’s almost gone, until I remember that I will one day have it again, and the sadness is replaced with joy. I genuinely love it so much.

I’ve eaten here many times and the food is always great and so is the staff. Best and most authentic Thai food in the area and is worth checking out.

This used to be my go to spot. Eat here one to two times per week for lunch and dinner. I understand the Covid pandemic has changed a lot. The last time I ate here the food was average at best and I think 18 dollars I did not feel I had an 18 dollar meal. You are getting a 2 due to your attitude when I came in like you didn’t care I ordered dinner. And also looking at these reviews and your arguments back to Customers for giving real feed back. I did look at 4 other menus local to the area and your prices are the highest of all them. So I will turn your words back to you do a quick google search and see your prices are no longer competitive with other local places. I will be going to these other local places who are welcoming to my business and not bashing customers reviews. And also save myself 4 dollars per meal on average at these others places

This is an add on to your comeback to the review. Your chicken pad Thai on your menu is 17 dollar plus tax. Which again comes to 18.02. If you want to add tip your looking at a single meal for 20-23 dollars. And the fact that the female who rang me up didn’t smile and made me feel like she didn’t need my business was also part of the review. If you want anything else please reply again. Also just noticed on your order online you charge for gluten free options.

Had dinner at this restaurant today with my wife and kids. Food was okay but over priced. Service was quick but the waitress seemed rushed to clean up, had no welcoming or friendly vibe, and even started cleaning the table while we were still sitting. 20% service charge was automatically added to the bill. Will not recommend this place to anyone and will not eat there ever again!

My kids ( under 2 year old) didn’t make any mess on the table. They were sitting on high chairs. The waitress made us sit in the back although there was no else dining in at the time. Felt like we were doing something wrong by dining in and giving them business. Not kid friendly. Terrible restaurant with attitude and service.

I always revisit this place for Thai food as I think it's one of the best in Metro Detroit. Pad thai is nice and saucy while other places can be dry from not having enough. Also like the massaman curry and rice soup; both dishes are staples when we feel a little under the weather or need something warm during colder months.

Picked up a carryout for the first time. Ordered Pad Thai and Massaman, both with vegetables. The Pad Thai was ok, barely any vegetables. The Massaman was more like soup, hardly any vegetables at all! Used the broth from the Massaman on top of the Pad Thai because it was so dry. Will not order from here again. Very disappointed. I did order vegetables, not chicken, with both orders yesterday and there was hardly any. I was charged for the vegetables. I was lucky if the Massaman had 1/2 potato in it!

I've tried several Thai places in the area with mixed results (I have my favorite from where I used to live, standards are high), but Eat Thai was a pleasant surprise. Everything tasted good and fresh.

-The green curry was good, not too oily and with a delicate flavor. The eggplant was silky and delicious.
-The basil fried rice was really tasty and had plenty of basil in it which I appreciated.
-The pad thai was tasty, but too sweet overall.

4.5 stars.

This was our first time EVER here and if you love Thai food THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Ms. Cin was an amazing, kind waitress, and I can tell she's a hard worker! This place is the bees knees. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The chicken pad thai is the best in macomb county in my opinion. Also try their spring rolls.

Amazing restaurant. We moved into the area about 6 months ago and decided to stop in on a whim. My wife and I fell in love with the Thai Tea and the food quality. I have tried several dishes here I never thought I would enjoy and I will continue to do so. My wife and daughter love the fresh salad rolls and fried rice. I'm a huge fan of the Se-ew and the Honey glazed chicken. So many more to list but I promise you will find something you will love. :-)

My husband and I are new to Sterling Heights we happened upon this place by accident. Surprise how cute it was inside, then our food came and wow, it was good!! We will be eating here again and soon! 😋 The pot stickers were delicious and paid thai was outstanding! The sever was very helpful!

So I was referred here by a friend and it wasn't bad. I ordered the pad thai and it was good except for the big lump of noodles that were stuck together BUT because they give you big portions it didn't matter to me because I was so full. I tried their sampler platter and it was good. Not a bad little place. I still like my favorite place in Rochester Orchid Cafe but it's kinda far so I will be coming here more often.

Favorite thai food around, fast and affordable

Food tastes great but the portions are small for the price.

Pretty great thai food they know what they are doing. I'd give my left nut for some right now but they are closed. I put the pad thai in my mouth and I was happy I did. My taste buds were so pleased they were begging for more. You know what I'd even give them my right nut also.

Best best best Thai Food around. Very friendly service and big food portions, you know it's a lot of food when done eating and you're still taking a full box home.

Very delicious noodle dishes and sticky rice.

The young lady who waited on us was pleasant. Coconut ice cream was delicious and homemade. Spice levels were exactly what you ask for.

I'm a huge fan of Thai cuisine. I have been to a majority of the Thai restaurants and can confirm this is the best. I've ordered the pad thai atleast a hundred times but just discovered the tropical fried rice and I'm hooked. The Tom Kha is also top notch. Staff is friendly and amazing. The girl who takes my order (sorry don't know your name) is the best as well. Thanks Eat Thai!

Fantastic food, great service. My new favorite "treat myself" items are their iced chai tea with cream, and their homemade coconut ice cream.

I've been eating at Eat Thai for about 10 years I remember what Eat Thai used to look inside and they have come a long way. I am am very impressed the new layout and flow is amazing the food is probably among the best Thai food you can get locally. The staff are so friendly and the portions are out of this world. I just wish I could figure out how to make those Thai ice teas they make them so good and I cannot go to Eat Thai every day. I have been meaning to write this review for a long time. If this place does not pan out for you can always try going to Thai Delight on hall RD. I would say that is my second favorite Thai place they are both great. If I had one complaint it's when I order the Tom yum soup it has so much enough for 4 people but it's always so hot that I usually end up taking it home to eat. Please keep doing what you do Eat Thai and I'll keep on coming to visit.

We frequent Eat Thai only because the food is outstanding.
The service has always been mediocre to poor.
When ordering veggie dishes, it doesnt come with more veg than you'd get with a meat dish.
After being charged $1.00 for extra cilantro on my Clear Broth soup (delicious) we will be trying new places.
Not because of the upcharge, but the principle of being charged so much for a pinch of what other places consider garnish.

The so called owner was very rude, everything we asked for she had a smart comment! Then I asked could I get a different waitress, she informed me no that she’s the owner, told me if I did not like it I could leave so I did! Before I even say I was leaving the lady grabbed my food! Very rude, no customers there I see why the silverware were dirty, the place spelled like fish! Everything we asked for she was super rude, then when I informed her she was rude she got even ruder! I advise anyone to not even waist your time it’s horrible I don’t even see how they got the ratings they got they must be fake because the food looks and smelled horrible!!!

Definitely the best Thai in northeast Sterling Heights. The food is good, and we order the carry out a lot.

This is mine and my mom's favorite thai restaurant! The service here is ALWAYS fast and the waitresses are so nice. I have never once been disappointed with my order, the food is always amazing. The pad thai and spring rolls are my personal favorite. This is a wonderful restaurant for great food at a great price!

Excellent thai food. Been there in the last 3 months about 5 times already. Simple, tasty, and big portions.

This was a real shame. We ordered the fresh rolls, massaman curry and basil with tofu. The fresh rolls had no noodles in them, they were hard and flavorless. The curry had not a single vegetable and just mountains of tofu and two peanuts and two potatoes. The Thai basil was the least terrible of all but it was just salty and no heat and I asked for spicy. And it was pricey on top of that. I won’t be going back to Eat Thai.

Best thai place in metro Detroit. Unfortunately they do not have the best location, but definitely worth it to go out of your way if you love thai food! Ask for less salt as they can normally go a little ooverboard with the saltiness
