Thai Orchid is definitely one of my favorite Thai places nearby! Starting with the crab wontons is a must- they come with a sweet orange sauce which is delicious! 🤤 The drunken noodles are my favorite entrée- it’s packed with fresh vegetables, sweet Thai basil, and your choice of meat (I usually get it shrimp!) all mixed with this yummy, sweet sauce. The portions are HUGE, and make amazing leftovers!

I have been happily eating here for 6 years and I have not been disappointed once! I often order take out from here and get the Chicken Pad Thai (medium) and the Tofu Kow Pad (also medium)

The slightly sweet and tangy sauce, the perfect tender pieces of chicken, the cool crunch of the sprouts and that sweet sweet heat keeps me coming back for the pad thai. The fluffy and flavorful rice and the perfectly cooked egg ( in my opinion most places wayyy overcook the egg in fried rice) and the fried tofu gets this wonderful little crust that allows it to keep together for a great texture in the bite!

Sometimes I splurge and get the crispy rolls which I could honestly eat about 20 of.When dunked in the simple looking yet delicious dipping sauce hits all the flavor notes!

Both the woman and gentleman that have served me were incredibly welcoming and didn't make me feel like I was being rushed out because I was just getting carry-out. My modifications are ALWAYS done to my liking and I never have had to get anything re-made. ( I admit for an entirely grown adult I'm still weird about onions in some dishes lol) or just like some extra lemon and peanuts..... every time....exactly what I asked for!

Had a terrible experience starting with the water.
Then we moved onto the crab “wontons” and they were friend in rancid oil.
Then our soup - 🤮
We requested to have our entrees cancelled and they insisted because they were “already made” (in the back still) we had to pay for all of it.

One among our party has Celiac disease. The person taking care of us was knowledgeable and helpful.

I ordered a stir fry with chicken. Was $15. I got it to go. It was just 🤮 legit what the hell is the sauce they used? Every time I’ve had Thai food I’ve gotten brown sauce, this place gave me something very inedible. Not only that but my stirfry has nuts in it?!?

It says open until 8pm. I get there at 7pm and it's closed.

Chicken pad thai had no flavor over cooked noodles.
Crab ragoon had little to no filling food was expensive and not good.

Ordered their Seafood Curry and it was spectacular. Would definitely recommend.

Takeout was ready when promised, food was hot and delicious.

First timer - Decided to give this restaurant a try (has great stars)& I was near the area. The sweet & sour chicken House special was an absolute disaster. $17 a plate & you get large chunks of veggies with soggy breaded chicken that tasted like it was reheated leaving it chewy and hard! Wasn’t even edible and tossed it. Green curry & coconut soup was average. Overall disappointed & Will not be going back.

The food and atmosphere are fantastic, and the service always prompt and friendly. The spice level here is also just right. They don't under-do it like most places, but they also don't take a nuclear flamethrower to your mouth when you tell them to make it "hot" - Perfect!

Thai spot in downtown Mt. Clemens that has been there for a while. The portions were ok, flavor could be better. Price was a bit too high. Friendly staff but the atmosphere in the restaurant had a bit to be desired, the lighting is not good which is strange with all the windows.

We finally found a new Thai restaurant we like! They do any of the dishes very well. The Pad Thai is excellent here and one of the best in the area. They also had another dish that is highly recommended is the Pla took Pad Ped (fried fish, eggplant, onions, green pepper in a sauce that had just the right amount of spice)! Spring rolls are a missing some gerth, but not sure if that's just part of the new world inflation?!? Lol. We drive past several other Thai restaurants to go here! The Prices are reasonable for meal sizes compared to others.

Everything on the menu that I have tried so far is wonderful. The pad Thai could use a little more egg and less noodle if I had to give one piece of constructive criticism. Went there a few times before, was okay. But the last time, I asked if they had a BBQ sweet and sour chicken (like Bancock) has a convo with server who confirmed it was fried nuggets with spicy sauce. Bring out something completely different. Ok, no biggie, I'm a big dude, I'm smash whatever later, so I tell the manager that's not what I wanted and would like to order something else; please wrap this up.
He walks away all angry without getting my new order.
Then proceeded to loudly talk smack about me to the next table for like 2 mins while my wife was enjoying her meal. By the time he gave me a box, the wife was done and I was way done.
Never again.
No free parking and can smell like chemicals if the neighbors are working.

My family has been eating here for years. Always awesome food and service.

Just moved to the east side from Wolverine Lake in Oakland county I took us a year to find a high quality Thai restaurant,, the Thai Orchard in Downton Mount Clemens is that place. Go there!!

I like the food here. It’s a pretty decent place considering other options for Thai food in the general Macomb area. Try the Pattani with Duck!! Mmm so good!!!

So disappointed.....second time ordering from here. First time I tried the sweet and sour chicken and it was generic... won't get it again. This time I had Pad Thai (mild spice) with chicken:. Barely any chicken or peanuts and the sauce was very oily and lacked flavor (more like no spice and no pad thai sauce only the oil the chicken was cooked in). Boyfriend got the Gang Gai with chicken (mild) and that was pretty flavorless too.

Delicious food. I most definitely get them again when I'm back in Michigan

Ordered chicken pad Thai with mild spice. Had NO FLAVOR AND GREASY NOODLES, AND VERY LITTLE CHICKEN!! Only had 10 small pcs of chicken for $12. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

while the food is excellent, they gave me the wrong order. i asked for gang gai tofu and got gang gai chicken. since i can't eat meat i gave it to someone else. when i called them about it, a lady answered and said she couldn't issue a refund without seeing the food and that the person who cooked it wasn't there to verify the order. she then said "black people always take their food back and when we see it it's almost gone". since the gang gai chicken was eaten already, i couldn't get my refund; instead i got a side order of prejudice. 😬

Awesome Thai food! A staple in Mt Clemens. Unfortunately they do not open at 11:30am like they say they do on Google. They only open at 4:00pm Mon-Fri.

If i could give this place negative stars i would. We got carry out from here and ordered the drunken noodle and pad thai. Both dishes showed up with 100% no sauce. We called Mary the owners wife to ask her nicely to either remake the food or give us a refund. She would not do either and insisted we ordered it this way. I will be calling back tomorrow to speak with Ray.

Consistent and quality Thai food

Fantastic food. Really know how to get the spice right. However, they have been out of beef for months?!?

The fried rice was good.... but they were out of beef. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken.. and I swear it was about 5 small pieces of chicken inside, the rest was sauce, vegetables and pineapples. I definitely could have saved my 27 bucks. Definitely not worth the money.

Great food! Good prices. Very clean. Service is not slow or too fast. Only downside is that it's too quite and everyone can hear eachother conversations. Need some low music (Thai themed) in the background.

The location is a little obscure when you try to find it, but when you do and you go inside, it is low key, warm and inviting.

The waitresses were respectful, but not overly attentive, which I like. The gave water and a small soup while you waited. The soup seemed like it could have been chicken pieces with lemon seasoned bone broth ( thick) or possibly duck ( havent had duck before).

I ordered deep fried chicken stuffed i believe it was wonton, came with a delicious sweet sauce and separate plate.

Also ordered the Walleye dinner which was medium spice and came with delicious sticky rice in a ceramic dish.

The appetizer was a nice hard crunchy outside and soft inside. The firmness of the shell lent well to spooning in some of the sweet sauce inside and it being absorb for a good flavour.

The Walleye was a surprise. It ran for $19.00 and the fillet was large, golden brown and crunchy. The sauce was soaked in good to make any interest flavour. The fish without the sauce was also very delicious and when refrigerated later, the Walleye maintain its crunchiness, which is rare for fried foods.

The spicy sauce was enough to clear the sinuses, but not enough to wipe tears out of your eyes and it contained carrots, bell peppers and a few other basic vegetables. The rice absorbed it nicely as well and can stretch into a separate meal if you are tight on money.

I really enjoyed finally eating here and I will definitely return in the future.

Different from most of the Thai restaurants in the area. Will go again.

Don’t know how this place stays in business. I’ve called them twice a full 90 minutes before their posting closing hours on google and they tell me they’ve closed their kitchen already. I won’t bother trying again.
