I ordered Pad Thai Country - Medium spice and spicy wings appetizer. Wings were dry, and covered in cilantro (which tastes terrible to me). Pad Thai Country had a weird taste to it.
Lastly, your tiny little sign advertising that you charge 3.5% convenience fee for credit card users only. If it applies only to credit card users, it is not a convenience fee, it is a credit card fee. "Due to rising costs of everything" “we're asking you to pay a small convenience fee of 3.5%”. I tried to say no. It is not an ask; it is a required. Nice try. My advice - drive on. You can get way better Thai food without all the secret cilantro and mysterious fees.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Mango II Thai cuisine for over 10 years, but the past several visits, I’ve seen a steady decline that’s hard to ignore. While the food quality has generally held up, the service has gone downhill. Lately, the server hovers around the table, giving off a rushed vibe, even with empty tables and plenty of time before closing. She repeatedly asks if we’re done, which makes it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal.

Another noticeable issue is the portion sizes. Despite rising prices, the servings have gotten smaller, especially with proteins. Dishes are mostly large chunks of vegetables, even when we pay extra for meat. This pattern of declining portions and increasing prices feels disappointing and frustrating, given how much I’ve enjoyed this place over the years.

After seeing this decline on multiple visits, I’m starting to feel like it may not be worth coming back. It’s disappointing to think of letting go of a spot that’s been a favorite, but the experience just isn’t what it used to be.

I have been to this Mango 2 location twice now for lunch and I can't wait to go back.

Best Thai Food- Period. Flavors are authentic. I drive 45 minutes to eat at this place.

I don't have Thai food very often as my 3 daughters aren't big fans of it. I was without my family today and decided to stop in to dine on my own. I had the Country Pad Thai, which I'm happy to say was absolutely excellent! The restaurant was very busy, but my dinner was still beautifully plated and was among the best tasting dishes of Pad Thai I've ever had. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a chance.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid, so easily over 10 years. It is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I live closer to Boston now but anytime I’m up this way I have to go here. It has become a staple location for my family, hometown friends, and college friends. They know if Mangos is open, we are going. The wait staff are always friendly and the food is delicious. I’m so happy they are in Tewksbury!

Very high quality thai food! Service was timely as well. Great spot if you're looking for pad thai. Wasn't a huge fan of the thai rolls though, so might skip that next time.

Place was fast and friendly but I wasn't over the moon about the food. The mango curry was good but nothing that stood out. The appetizer sampler wasn't the best.

This is a gem hidden in middle of Tewksbury.
They treat you so well, almost pamper you with piping hot and delicious food.

We are Vegetarian and they make sure they accommodate every dietary restriction.

Great vegan options, lovely staff. If you order soup, get the small, unless you want like a half a gallon of it. (Which I would have finished, if I hadn't had an appetizer and wasn't short on time. It was delicious!)

Crazy expensive. Food is so so. Service is weird (not necessarily bad, the servers are nice - just weird) - a note on "why they are not fast food" left on every table and in the menu. 3.5% extra charged for using Credit Card. If you would like to spend ~$25 on lunch for 1 person, this is your place.
There is a better Thai restaurant around 5-10 mins from here. In Billerica.

Food was really good. We really like Mango 2 thai. But the service is supee horrible. The one who took our order didn’t have any patience to answer our questions. We totally get when you have lots of people coming in, sometimes it feels hectic, if I have to think from her end. We have asked some question related to spice , the waiter is super rude. what is not acceptable is even you speak little, choosing right words is really important. Food was really good. I really recommend the food.But if you really want to go for some dine in experience, this is not the place.

The food here is the star of the show! Made from the freshest ingredients. While some Thai can sit like a brick in your stomach, it never happens here. The food is well flavored and perfectly prepared.

Take time to relax and enjoy the experience. The food is cooked to order with fresh ingredients. If you are in a hurry, perhaps ask what might take less time to prepare. We've been enjoying this restaurant for many years. It's a treat to come back and be recognized.

This was a delightful surprise. Bigger than it looks from the outside, as a storefront in a small strip mall, this place has plenty of booth and table seating. The service was fast, including water refills. The menu is vast but well laid out. A lot of dishes have mango or mango sauce in them, but there is plenty to choose from. I found the portions a bit small for the money, but I may not be well calibrated to restaurant pricing in Massachusetts. 3 of us split their mango chicken, chicken pad thai, thai rolls appetizer, and two desserts. Everything was delicious.

Fairly new to the area and wanted to try a new Thai restaurant. I usually have my “go to” dishes that I always get at a typical Thai joint. I got thunder noodles (same/similar to drunken noodle) that came with ground chicken, garlic fried rice and crispy chicken.

Sadly, I was very disappointed! I originally called to get tofu with my thunder noodles but the lady stated that “no substitutions were allowed”. I did find this strange as I have never encountered this problem with switching out the protein. The garlic fried rice lacked the “garlic and fried” aspect. It also was very soggy. The crispy chicken had absolutely no authentic Thai flavor! It tasted more like a Chinese dish.

Avoid on weekends as it takes 1 hele to get appetizers and another one hour to get your food. Eat heavily before going if you are going on weekend. Food taste is average not so great.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. The food is delicious and they are also aware of allergies and other dietary needs (e.g vegetarian). It's like the only place me (veggie) and my boyfriend (celiac) can eat in the area that's also DELICIOUS so we come here like every week. Plus they play great music and the staff is super nice. If you live in Tewksbury/Lowell you should 100% come!!

This is my new favorite Thai restaurant, and I just ate the best red curry I've ever had. I also ordered the vegan tempura appetizer, which was phenomenal. The server I spoke with when I picked up my food was extremely welcoming.

Great food! I had the chicken pad Thai ,Thai spicy, which was one of the best I've ever had. I eat Thai food about 40 time a year and always start with pad Thai to judge the quality of any new restaurant. So based on my experience, this will be my go to Thai restaurant for the area.

I moved to Tewksbury in December 2020, excited to find a Thai Restaurant nearby. The first time I ordered from here the food was boring. Seemed like they had forgotten to add any spices at all. I figured it's the middle of a pandemic, I should try them again a bit later. I ordered again mid 2021. I think that they hadn't even added salt to the food and I eat less salt. I'm super sad. Not sure why they have such good reviews. I don't plan on wasting on another meal here

If you're scanning reviews trying to figure out where to eat just stop what you're doing and go here. The food is incredible. Chicken pad thai is our favorite but everything we've tried on the menu has been so good. Give them a shot!

So we were at mango 2 for dine-in on Friday night with friends and had pleasantly good experience. It’s kid friendly. We also ordered a take out chicken basil fried rice for the next day. We DO NOT eat steak as part of religious thing. There were pieces of steak/ something ( definitely not chicken) on the takeout. We had to throw out the food without eating. Very very unacceptable. Take out took a long time and food was pretty juvenile. Very sweet rather than fragrant umami flavors that make Thai so great. Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai, and Massaman Curry were all very sweet. Chicken Satay and Spring Rolls were good. A little disappointed but good for those who have kids or like their Thai food very sweet.

The food is amazing but be prepared to WAIT a very long time. They often tell us there’s a 1 hour wait for take out but I’ll end up waiting an additional 30-45 minutes longer at the Resturaunt. It would be nice if they’d limit takeout orders to prevent this kind of pile up or at least be honest and tell people 2 hours. All that said… it’s good food.

Been going here for years any everything is delicious. I love trying new Thai places but hands down this is one of the best in the area. They also have vegan options too so if you have a significant other thsts vegan.

Their food is always good. The Pad Thia has a nice spicyness and crunch to it. The Emerald Curry chicken was nice and spicy. They were also quite busy, so be sure to order early on the weekend.

If you are looking to get an accurate time on your food then probably don't come to Mango Thai. Have waited double the time of estimate and still waiting. Don't order from here.

Gave them 3 chances in case they had a bad night. But each time they gave me food 30-60 min late after a 75-90 min estimate. But the food was good each time.
