Went here for the first time recently. What a surprisingly delicious spot! I highly recommend the tiny triangles. They are like mini curry puffs or samosas. Incredible. The staff was awesome. The atmosphere was great. Absolutely loved it.

Decidedly our favorite Thai spot in the greater Boston area. Prices and curries are excellent, and restaurant is as cute as can be. We will absolutely be back for more spicy curry before winter is over!

Food was very good - made spicy 🌶 enough to enjoy but not overwhelming.
Waitress was very polite and checked to make sure everything was OK.
Enjoyed the Duck and Crispy Chicken.
Appetizer was fried calamari- my favorite and they did a good job.

The menu says the Paradise Chicken had lightly battered chicken yet It was breaded and deep fried. Unfortunately not as described and it wasn’t good. The veggies in the dish were fresh though and the sauce was flavorful. It’s too bad as sautéed or steamed chicken would have been a better choice.

Excellent food here! Quality ingredients, well cooked, and good sized portions! Their spice level tends to be a little on the mild side for what's listed on their menu, but feel free to make a request on any dish that they increase the spice level to whatever your liking is. They will be happy to oblige your mouth masochism, and will service this requested preference more than adequately for whatever level of fire breathing dragon your are trying to emulate. Upon request, they can probably also provide napkins to wipe the sweat and tears away while you're enjoying your oral inferno, so that you're friends/family/coworkers don't misunderstand how you're enjoying the destruction of your taste buds. This is a very good Thai place on busy rt 53 in Norwell. In my opinion better suited for takeout than dine in. The food is tasty, high quality and satisfying. I had Pad Thai while my wife had the Rama Garden and we shared a number of appetizers including the spring rolls, chicken satay, gyoza and edamame. All in all very satisfying!

Updating once more: the quality of the Pad Thai has increased again since my updated review so I'm adding back a star but I'm still disappointed they don't offer a more affordable version without meat.

Updated review: unfortunately, I have to change my 5 star review to a 3 star review. The pad Thai used to be incredible but the quality/flavor decreased significantly while the price went from $11 to $17. Had the quality remained the same I could've justified the price a splurge on occasion but it's not like it used to be. I wish that weren't the case, I miss the delicious old recipe.

Take out service is super quick. Love the gyoza, crab rangoons, chicken fingers, Thai rolls, and especially the Pad Thai. They have a bunch of great sauces too.

Dinner here on Wednesday 14 June 2023 about 6pm. Myself and two friends. For me tofu fresh rolls, and mango curry with veggies Thai hot. One companion got pad Thai with chicken. The other got pad Thai shrimp. We cannot say any thing bad or disparaging about the flavor of the food, it was very good we all agreed and they even spiced my curry Thai hot as requested.
Where the disconnect comes in is with service the waitress was not warm nor was she friendly. Honestly seemed like she would rather be some where else or like being a waitress was not what she wants to do. idk . I hope she finds some happiness.

The second disconnect arrived with the portions of food we were served. Both of my friends said the same thing. Look at how small the amount of food is....they both said it looks more like lunch portions then dinner. And to pay $18 for the shrimp pad Thai and $16 for the chicken pad Thai. My curry portion was average... I had requested no bell peppers and it came out loaded with bell peppers. Not the end of the world; what salvaged my meal was it tasted good and it was spiced correctly. Also for $10 the tofu salad rolls are cut up into tiny pieces and it just seemed to me that for $10 their should have been more to them. Although I did really like the dipping sauce. They used some thing different then most Thai restaurants it's like a hosin sauce.for me its a welcome change from the heavy peanut sauce.
Over all we loved the food but feel like we paid way too much for the small portions we were served. And service made us feel unwelcome .

Update myself and the same two friends gave this place another chance we all agreed the food was delicious, I got pad thai with tofu and veggies and papaya salad without shrimp, my one friend got pad thai chicken, the other friend got pad Thai shrimp. We also all agreed the portions are exceedingly small, it bearly put a dent in our hunger pangs. The final thing that shocked all of us the total bill was $71.
It's sad because we all really enjoyed our meal. It hurt paying the bill because we were all still hungry.

Me and mom buy lunch different plate and bowl and I order mix match seafood with lemongrass sauce didn't taste nothing sour or any I taste like water mix with sauce so didn't bring out flavor i bit disappointed on that plus waiter still not very honest about they are out stock sauce and small left seafood mean only got small meat squid 2 or 3 and 2 shrimp and 4 scallop and chief may have embezzlement half about sauce which he don't made it good flavor

Terrible terrible place. They did not have much options for food restrictive people and when we said we cant eat here they still wanted us to pay them.

I’m really not in sync with the reviews. The Penang curry was so watery it was like a soup and the Pad Thai was all thin rice noodles. Not bad. Just average.

Just came back from Thailand and came over here and the food is good not quite the same as Thailand but good enough for the Americans here.. service is good

My mother in law had a ratatouille style transcendent experience with the tom khar gal soup. Everyone else at the table similarly agreed their food was top tier, excellent. Service was attentive and prompt, and the dining area was beautiful and small enough to feel pretty intimate too. Only knocking off one star because one of the seasonal drink specials was a pumpkin spice chai tea which turned out to be just a Stash brand tea bag that you can buy at the grocery store, nothing special or added. That was disappointing but everything else was fantastic and I will definitely go back.

Ok food and ok service

This is one of my absolute favorites. Today I bought my lunch from them as I typically do. I made an error and ordered the incorrect item. Saddened when I got back to my office I called back and they replaced the entire meal. Prepared to have to pay for what I actually wanted they said “no problem, keep both”. Their customer service is always on point! Thank you Wild Ginger Norwell! Now, time to eat.

Highly recommend the Massaman Curry

Very cute inside, very clean, and cozy. The food was delicious. I got my dish extra spicy, which I loved. We caught it during their dinner rush so all tables were full making it cozy. My only complaint was that the entrées got brought out separately by about 5-10 minutes. My entree came out then other tables orders got brought out, then finally my dates dish got bright out. Other then this weird timing everything was great.

So good! Authentic Thai food. We love to go there. The staff are great and service is spotless. They are great!

The restaurant is clearly popular from the number of take out orders that were picked up. The decor is fairly bland, but functional. The food was delicious and the portions were a big size. The waitress was very pleasant and professional.

Amazing. Best crab Rangoon’s I have ever had. The dipping sauce is a perfect pair. All taste homemade. And the Tom Yum soup was to die for. I felt like I was in Thailand.

Love the food in this place! The service is great: courteous, efficient, friendly, and attentive! I would give it 5 stars, but there is little "ambience". However, the bright lights do let you see your beautiful food!

I recently returned to this spot after not being there for a while and was so disappointed that I came to change my review. The menu prices have drastically increased, there are no substitutions allowed, drink options were extremely limited, quality of food was subpar and the staff were less than accommodating. Unable to get crispy chicken with any of the mix match options or as a side, even though we were willing to pay extra for it. Ordered crispy basil chicken and the basil was oiled and appeared steamed, not even a little crispy. Will not be returning and will let everyone know that it is not what it used to be…very very disappointed 😔

I was over charged with $10, my original price according to their official online menu was supposed to be around $20 for these 3 things but it’s was a few cents short of $29 instead.

Was staying at a hotel in Rockland, and found Wild Ginger online. Ordered takeout on Mother's Day. Ordering was fast and easy, staff very nice, and gave us realistic time expectations because of Mother's Day. Food was hot when we got it back to hotel. It was delicious! Will certainly go back when in the area again.

I ordered $103 worth of lunch specials for my coworkers and myself and they tried to charge me for sauce. Not one single sauce In the bag...so it's not like I was asking for extra..and the cashier told me it's store policy...so I paid for what I ordered and just left.

Best Thai food on the South Shore....maybe the entire state for that matter. The mango curry is always spot on. I can't say I've ever been disappointed with the quality of Wild Ginger. Take out service is always fast and ready for pick-up. Highly recommended!!

What a great find!!!! The food here is excellent. I tried the crispy Pad Thai (shrimp) and the drunken noodles (chicken), I also had the gyoza (steamed). Both dishes were so flavorful and delicious, I can't pick which was my favorite. The gyoza was great as well. I can't wait to come back here again. The restaurant is very clean and the staff was kind and attentive.

The food has always been excellent so don’t get me wrong there. I’ve been coming to this place for 7 years getting the same plate I always get. On weekdays and weekends (Saturdays). Always order during lunch time. My plate at most never goes above $13/14 (drunken noodle w/shrimp, chicken and scallops). Today (Saturday) they tried charging me $17 for a LUNCH plate!!! Without the scallops! What!? Since when? How you jump from a $13 plate to a $17 plate during lunch hours?? Never will be going out my way again to come here. Ridiculous.

We made reservations and dined in. They were good at keeping things Covid friendly.

The restaurant was clean, modestly decorated and easy to find. The staff here was very friendly and attentive when we visited. The prices were decent for and dine in experience. Just over $22 per person with appetizers, nonalcoholic drinks and entrees.

The food was fantastic! As vegetarians it’s always a relief to find a place with a few options, we were overwhelmed with our choices. While that’s enough to keep me happy, the quality of the food was great as well. Presentation was very good for the price as well.

The menu is marked with a 3 chili pepper scale for hotness. 2 chili peppers was enough to slow my son down, and he loves hot food.

Small little place with big flavor! Was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was, had crab Rangoon, they were very creamy and crispy. Seafood delight was the main course and it was delicious. The mussels were fresh, shrimp cooked perfect, squid was cooked good, scallops were just a hair over done but not too rubbery. Wife loved her pad Thai. Over all great portions and nice quiet restaurant, will definitely be back.
