Celadon has consistently flavorful Thai food. The delicious coconut milk curries with veggies and tofu are vegan and gluten free. You can make your curry spicy or mild- both incredibly good. The mango sticky rice is a simple sweet dessert. The fresh flowers on each table are a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Whenever we are craving the yummy aromas & flavors of fresh Thai food we come here.

It's a really beautiful place and they definitely care about their customers. For example, tonight I was picking up a takeout order, and I have specified no mushrooms for ingredients, and the thing I was ordering had the mushrooms already in it so they had tried to call me a couple of times to let me know but I didn't get the message because I was in a hospital with do not disturb.

So when I got there they had it flagged to make sure that they were able to let me know and they even offered to make me something else in place of it. They did not have to do that, I was the one who did not answer the phone. Everything was delicious and made correctly and quickly. I've never had an issue here and I truly enjoy them.

I ordered delicious drunken noodles from here the other day. I was totally prepared to order chicken, but then I noticed that they offered crab for a $4 upcharge. I had that moment of hesitation, like do they actually mean crab or is it "krab?" It's the most disappointing thing when you think you are getting the real thing and it turns out to be imitation meat. I decided to chance it, though, and I'm here writing a review just to let everyone know that it is the real thing, real crab meat! It was delicious and I will definitely be ordering again!

I absolutely enjoyed it. The combination of sauce, fresh herbs, and curry will satisfy; The chef is incredible... fast-forward it's now 2024..The prices are not matching the quality. My King Noodles were burnt and placed in a to go box. The flavor wasn't exceptional at all the noodles weren't whole but completely overcooked.I was disappointed!

I decided to try a different restaurant and ordered something I've never ordered. I thought maybe it was just me until I read another review of Celadon Thai's drunken noodles. Really bland, noodles were mushy, veggies that were added seemed random. Was not very appetizing. HOWEVER, the crab Rangoons were by far THE BEST I've ever had. The staff was great when I picked up order. I'll go back, but I'll order something I'm more familiar with as reviews are great !

The food has been amazing both times I've been here. Comes out hot and fresh. Unfortunately on my last visit, the service was subpar. I order a noodle soup extra hot and a beer. The server never checked on the food or brought the beer. The host provided the only water refill when he dropped off the check. I had to request that he remove the beer that was not provided and explain how I was never checked on.

It's clear that the people working at Celadon really care a lot about providing customers with a great experience, even if you are just ordering for takeout.

Just went here for my daughters graduation celebration with 11 people. Food came out amazingly fast, service was THE BEST!, YUMMY! Very reasonably priced, I see why my daughter loves this place so much. We have never had a bad experience but today was next level... 5+ stars!! Great job to all the staff and THANK YOU!!!

One of my favorite Thai places in the capital region! The food is fantastic (especially the Massaman curry) and the service is always fast and accurate. We have gotten to know the staff well over the years and they treat us like one of their family. I can't help but recommend Celadon to everyone I know.

We LOVE it here. We have been coming here (and their previous locations) for years now. The consistency is amazing, everything always tastes the same each and every time. The food and flavors are outstanding. The service is always good, and they’re great/accommodating in regard to having our young children out dining with us. They’re very welcoming, warm, and friendly to children. Highly recommend!

After a long drive, popped in here an hour before they closed. They were so welcoming. We ordered the French fries with yellow sauce (sauce was great but fries were nothing special). We really loved the spicy basil fried rice and drunken noodles. Really great depth of flavor, not too oily, and can pick your spice level from 1-5 (recommend 2, 1 was virtually no spice)

This is my favorite Thai place. I've eaten at nice places on the Hamptons and NYC. They might have nicer decor, but the food here is by far the best.

The food was not nearly as good as most Thai restaurants I've been to and the portions were also half the size.

The only place my guy has found that gives him the "extra hot" that he requests everywhere. And it's not just heat, it's delicious. Whenever we are in Latham we stop there to treat ourselves

What a mistake we made to stop by this place ! We went there because the nearby Thai restaurant is closed on Monday. The waitress had her mask but never covered her mouth or nose. I was curious why she even bothered to pretend to have social distancing rule at the restaurant then. The service was slow and the food taste was average. What stuck me the most is that she showed us the credit card charge without showing us the actual itemized bill ! Obviously the bill gives us another option to give her the service tip. After multiple inquires, we finally got the bill which showed that the 18% tip has already been included. Such an dishonest way to trick customers !

Amazing food

Food was disappointing. Ordered drunken noodles, it was all meat and noodles, where are the veggies? Flavor and spice was just okay. I guess if you are looking for a plate of meat and noodles this is your place. Would not recommend the food. Service was very good but place was not busy Thursday night.

The service for tonight went downhill. I came to this restaurant several times. In Albany region, I am pleased with their food. They busy tonight the staffs are overwhelmed. I came in standing there for 10 mins waiting for host to greet me. No one came the staff like waving me like they are not doing business anymore, so i walked closer to them to clarify that they are no longer taking dine in and we got in at 8:15pm. Another staff told me to sit wherever we want. It took so long for them to come take our order. But after order the food came out in a timely fashion. But no napkins were served. They also brought in wrong orders to the table and forgot our drink. When we were done we were trying to place an order for dessert. We tried to get attention from any staffs they just walked by and I had my hand wave at them. They really giving me a feeling they do not want to acknowledge us. Throughout the whole dining process no one came to check with us on the food and service. At last the lady staff just came with the check without and follow up. I just need to confront her, she spend so much time chatting with a customer without helping other customers and I have to asked her, Do we look different? Why are we receiving different service? For restaurant service, it’s very rude to just bring the check on the table while all eyes on her. It’s not that we give her a look or give her an attitude. I was simply waiting for her to ask if we need anything or maybe a simple greet of how is the night or food. We still left a 20% tip.

1st time trying this place and was pleasantly surprised. Anytime I go to a new Thai place I initially judge them on there curry. This place did not disappoint. The yellow curry with chicken and sweet potato and veggies was amazing with the silky rich coconut curry sauce. Plus they put the rice on the side which allowed a good sized helping of the curry to be received. Waiter answered all my questions that I had and was just attentive enough to make sure what I need is taken care of but don't hover which is a tough balance to achieve and it's very refreshing. Would highly recommend trying this place.

Went here for lunch. We had decent apps, nice Thai teas, and pretty good entrees. When I was almost done with my meal I found a MAGGOT on a piece of chicken on my fork.

The maggot was pretty large. It was clearly a maggot. We called the server over and they took the plate before we had a chance to take a pic. They offered me a new plate, I was struggling to keep my food down, so I was not interested in a new meal. They then offered a small discount on a large lunch bill. We had to request a larger discount considering the severity of the “incident”. Disappointed at how this extreme health issue was handled as not a big deal by the staff. This makes me feel like they were not surprised about the maggot- which is disgusting to think about.

There is no way I am ever eating here again. There are clearly maggots in the meat. 🤢

It's an acceptable Thai place in the capital region. Most of the dishes have been adjusted to Americans' palate a lot - less Thai basil, too many bell peppers incorporated in the noodle dishes, the food overall tend to be on the sweet side which is not a Thai cuisine profile flavor.

But it is a convenient place to have a comfortable meal with a small group of people.

Lunch was amazing, drunken noodles with shrimp is my fave!! 😋

My 2nd time here and it's still hitting like it was the 1st time.

Had been there several times before and always had a good experience, but not this time. Dining in, tried to place our order and the waitress could not understand us, nor could we understand her. I ordered silver noodles with tofu. The server repeated what I thought she said was "silver noodles" but it obviously wasn't. A different server brought a bowl of soup to the table, along with companion's plate, which was what he had ordered. When I said I had not ordered soup, the original server came up and more or less told me that indeed I DID order that soup. She finally brought me a menu and told me to point at what I wanted. Meanwhile, I encouraged companion to eat his dinner before it got cold. I played on my phone, but not more than 5 minutes later, a plate of silver noodles was plunked down in front of me. I'm sure they had tried to rush it so my companion and I could at least eat some of the time together, but I really wish they had at least cooked it before it was slammed down. Crunchy vegetables are a delight, but they should at least be flash warmed. And the tofu - usually fried to a delicate flavor and texture, was cold and slimy. But to add insult to injury, when the check arrived, they tried to charge us for that soup! Will not be going back. Sorry.

I know we’re in a recession and there’s inflation going on but wow I was shocked at how much they raised their prices. The food quantity is the same but to charge $16 for drunken noodles in this area is insane!! Three veg spring rolls we’re $8 and we’re stuffed with frozen reheated cabbage with no flavor. I used to love going to this place but won’t be going back again.

This is a decent Thai restaurant. We tried the pho, drunken noodles, Tom yum soup, red curry, (and teriyaki chicken for the non-Thai food eater). Everything tasted pretty good, service was fast, portion sizes were good. We did order red curry beef and she brought red curry chicken instead. We had already taken a bite so no compensation for it. The mango with sticky rice was really good!

Good Thai food in Latham. Prices are reasonable. Although I feel like the flavor is adjusted to suit the western pallette. Its great that you can adjust the spice level on certain food items. Normally you cant do that in Thai restaurants.

I ate here a couple months ago and the food was good, this time the $60 meal was inedible. The pork was greasy, fatty and chewy and tasted like it came out of a microwave. One of the shrimp in the pad thai was still raw. The tom yum soup looked like the chef had thrown in poorly chopped vegetable scraps together with mushrooms that should have been destined for the compost. The spring rolls were abhorrently overpriced for something that looked like it came from the freezer. We were left feeling rather nauseated by the end of it.
For the price I would expect something far better.

A very lovely experience, my girlfriend and I when for dinner. Very nice atmosphere and clean place. The food was delicious, for appetizers we had the shrimp tempura and vegetarian rolls. I had the orange duck and my girlfriend had the silver noodles combination. We where both full and satisfied with the service and the hospitality. We will be back again soon. Btw we ate so fast we forgot to take pictures!😂😂🤣 Also you must try the Thai iced tea as its absolutely delicious! Reminds me of drinking an orange creamsicle!😋Thank you Lisa.....
