Simple, informal spot offering Thai staples like noodle stir-fries & curries for dine-in or takeout.
I've been visiting Krua Thai for a few years now and the taste is consistent and amazing. Run by a family , the food is delicious and the curries have just the right level of spiciness.
Their main business is takeout. It's a small restaurant (seats about 20) in a strip mall. There are only five spaces in front, but plenty of parking in the rear. The service is great and the hostess is amiable and attentive.
You just can't go wrong with this place. If you want thai food and live around Natick there is no better place than this. Period.
Not impressed with the food here but it’s better than take out greasy Chinese food. Ordered two different dishes and they looked the same to me. I think the other dishes are not interesting as well. Kind of expensive to chopped up vegetables in a sauce. They charge for rice at dinner. Who does that anymore? Is it that expensive to include rice?
It’s definitely a take out place because of the limited seating, small space, and not much parking. The staff seemed nice.
Really glad we found this place! Their food is very tasty! Their pricing is excellent compared to other places. Though they don’t have the crispy chicken pad thai, their regular pad thai hits the spot! It’s not too dry or greasy! We also love the triangle puffs! It’s our to go thai food now around the area!
Really good food especially the pad Thai and spring rolls!
Disappointed they got rid of their ordering online feature though.
We had a delicious meal with excellent, quick, kind service. Highly recommend the massaman curry.

Always good!

Our food was very good even after we got all the way home. I keep going back.
Nice little place in natick, but food lacked seasoning and took a look time to come, even in an empty restaurant.
Very bland, dry chicken and shrimp. Ordered pork and not received.
Absolutely worth the stop!! Everyone was super nice, the food was excellent. Massaman Curry and Pad Kee Mao highly recommended. Chicken satay was also great. Food was flavorful and good spice level. Excellent!! Starring so we can come back!
Very rude waitress. Very tiny dishes.
Delicious little hole in the wall restaurant. They take their spice seriously here! They offer 3 levels of spice and even tho I love spicy food one pepper was just right for me.
I've been visiting Krua Thai for the last couple of weeks as I've been working through their menu. The food is delicious and the curries have just the right level of spiciness.

Other reviews have mentioned that they don't have customer restrooms. This is not true. The restroom is in the back next to the kitchen. It is small, but clean.
A congenial, if intimate, place for a meal.
Small, quiet and friendly place to enjoy freshly prepared food.
The best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. Lived in Lowell for about 10 years and this is the closest I’ve had to all the great places there.
Food was bland and boring. Ordered a curry that was supposed to be spicy, didn't feel any spice. Not what you expect from a Thai place.
Great takeout place!
The food and staff are wonderful! Very nice and kind people!
The food is delicious! And the staff is friendly. Definitely a place to eat if you’re in the natick area
I love this place. The food is amazing, especially love their natick wings, spring rolls and fried rice. They always so polite and pleasant on the phone. It is a little out of my way but, its work the extra 10 min drive for me.
We get takeout there all the time. Delicious Thai food, reasonable prices, nice people.
Pad Thai was drenched in sauce and was too sweet with hints of saltiness.
The Thai ice tea was two to three times too sweet.
The fried rice flavor was good. The chicken satay was good.
I want to love this small joint. But the food is pretty bad
Very impressive. I have been coming here regularly for about four years. I have never been disappointed. Fabulous.

Of all the Thai food places in the area I have to say this is probably my least favorite. The pad thai really lacked sauce, and the shrimp had a strange flavor to it. I also got the dumplings and they were a really strange shape and difficult to eat. Bummed!
Great food. Fresh and light. Spring rolls and green curry are delicious. Pad Thai has both Shrimp and chicken. Lunch portions are great.
One of the best Thai spots in metro west!
I'm a big fan of Krua Thai curries, especially Red and Yellow. I love their flavor. The quality is excellent and they maintain the taste. I'd love to come back again and again.
Fresh, vibrant ingredients coupled with friendly staff make this one of my go-to Thai food locations. I mostly get lunch here, they have a very good lunch specials menu. Plenty of parking in the rear lot if there isn't a spot right out front. They have a very small dining area so currently it's take out only.
Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my meal from here. I ordered pad se ew which was pretty bland and did not taste very authentic. The spring rolls were not very good either. They were small and flavorless even with the sauce.
tum yum soup is really good.
Paid Thai tastes good as well, lunch size is still too large for me. LOL. Wanna try other dishes next time.
Btw, Don’t trust google map. The restaurant is only open for take out.
This place was a favorite before the pandemic. But quality went downhill across multiple orders spanning months. It's too bad such a great place has changed. I'll take my spending to other places. Inconsistent meat quality or taste, some dishes felt watery, and other details that I expect are no longer consistent. I used to be excited to grab food from Krua but that "excitement" is GONE.
I love this place!!! I order for my family, for my colleagues.. WHOEVER!! The food is so aromatic and I eat a wide range of dishes here; linguine talay, salmon rad prik, Siam seafood, hot salmon.. I could keep going!! At work we are always told we have such a big order and I laugh every single time.. Can't help that is is so tasty..
Amazing food.
You can buy the peanut sauce by the quart!!! And you'll want to. No indoor seating for now due to covid-19, but great take out
Our favorite Thai place in the area. 5* delicious and friendly. Spicy and flavorful. Favorite dish is wild boar basil and crazy noodles.
Because of the reviews, I was expecting more. People are wonderful, the menu looks great. The food is good. I just wanted more distinction in flavor.
Love the food there. Simple accommodations but I love the food. Of course, now due to covid it's only pick up. No dining in.
Some of the best Thai food in the metro west area.
They have awesome Pad Thai !!! The portion size is big with lots of chicken and shrimp. When friends ask where there’s a great place for Thai , I send them here always.😎
Great food and great service. The staff here is awesome. They are really quick as well, so it makes a great place to go for lunch between work
Delicious food and good service. I recommend it to all Thai food lovers
This is the best Pad Thai ever. I’ve been coming here with my friends for months. The service was awesome. Highly recommend.
Perfect size fresh spring rolls, thai iced tea, tomtom soup.. etc, I can go on and on 😋❤
Great food and service
So friendly!!! My nimber one local Thai restaurant. Although they do a lot of take out business, service is always prompt and the food is delicious.
Visit and grab a table, watch the world go by.
Found this place today. Very very good and nice and spicy!!!
so so food. friendly service.
Always great and they do vegan!
Best Thai food in Metrowest
My wife and I absolutely love this place. Great hospitality, great proces and above all great food. I am never disappointed with Krua Thai and today was no exception!
Inexpensive Thai and good food. Restaurant is too small to sit and enjoy but the offer take out.
Tried their pad thai. Tasty, generous portions and protein, and cheap. 12 dollars for 2 meals. 10m to pickup
Good food, fast service, but small dining room.
Great food! We have tried many places but keep coming back to Krua Thai.
Delicious!!
Always excellent, well-run Thai local hotspot. Get the hoi jor if you like fried seafood, delicious and their sauce is pretty unique to them and my favorite. Use it to dip other appetizers in and enjoy
Hubby had crab meat fried rice, I had pad see ew with tofu. We both LOVED them! So delicious! Wish I lived close as I would order here more often. Excellent 👍 food!
An authentic and small location for delicious Thai food.
Their Red Curry, is amazing and very flavorful.
The atmosphere is actually very calm and not very loud. A pleasant place to have a lunch time conversation. Usually they play soothing jazz music making it a peaceful place.
Love the Thai food here. Comparable to Boston. Best in the area.
Buena comida!!
Great food
This is our goto place for Thai Food
It’s a little hole in the wall kinda place with the best pad Thai around. Make sure to order the beef satay appetizer if you’re a meat eater.
Got the mango curry and shrimp pad Thai, and they were both phenomenal!!! Quick, delicious, and reasonably priced.
Food, service and portions were excellent and the prices were very reasonable.
Best Thai around
Very fresh and big flavors.
Great find while on a Sunday drive. If you want to avoid downtown Boston traffic hassles, high parking costs and if Natick is convenient to you, come here. Food is great, service is quick. They willingly "spiced-down" one of the dishes for us and it was still delicious. Clean. Free parking.
13 seats at small tables; 5 stools for counter seating.
We have ordered Chicken Satay, pad Thai and chicken basil fried rice and all based on their staff recommendation. Weird that Chicken was cold and crunchy. We have had much better thai food before and I would not visit this place again.
This place was great. Quick and friendly service! I wanted to come back for more, even before I left.
I used to love this place. But did not have a good experience the last time I went. I ordered to-go but reached there earlier and requested that if it wasn't packed I would like to sit there and eat. The lady at the counter told me that it was packed and the owners do not allow someone who'd ordered to-go to sit. The place was completely empty and I would have tipped happily if she'd let me sit. I had to eat in my car and the curry did not taste so good either. Not sure if the taste had actually changed or the bad experience dominated it.
I had a great experience here and will be back soon!
Fantastic food, quick service, accurately spiced.
The food is delicious, a small place with couple of tables. There ain't much to serve, but when service is needed, it has great service. We brought along that day a fussy baby. We were served food but our baby won't eat any of it. I know white rice doesn't cost much, but they were nice enough to come to us and asked if our baby would eat rice. We said yes and they just gave us a bowl. Our baby happily ate the rice. When we got the bill, there was no rice and we offered to pay for it, they said it was ok.
Good quality Thai food.
We came for dinner, they have a lot of takeout orders, so the food come in very late. We waited for 28 minutes for food to come, and there are only another one table in the restaurant eating. Too slow, I’m not even hungry after waiting so long. Bad experience
Co-workers turned me on to this spot. The family also really love it. Suggestions include the Mango Curry with Tofu and the Duck!
great food and nice people loved it
Great thai food I would recommend anyone to get food from here only thing I find some what annoying is trying to get them to pick up the phone sometimes take 5 to 7 calls
Smells bad
Pretty good food at a decent price. Service was good too. Very small dining area
Very good Thai food, brings the heat if they say spicy on the menu. Good amount of food, deep rich flavors.
Small Thai eatery with an equally small parking lot. The restaurant seemed like it was more catered to take out, as they only had a few tables and our group of 5 already couldn't fit anywhere. We got Thai tea, spring rolls, todman, tom yum soup, wild boar basil, massaman curry, pad woon sen, and duck choo chee. Everything was pretty good, I just wasn't a huge fan of the wild boar basil.
Nice atmosphere. Food is pretty good.
One of my favorite lunch spots. Quick and delicious.
Pad Thai was AMAZING I will be back!
Solid Thai food. Nothing outstanding. Service was friendly. Ok portions. Pad See Ew was a bit sweeter than expected. Pad Thai was average. Pineapple Fried Rice was meh. Crab Fried Rice was probably the best of the 4. They didn't skimp on the proteins (beef, shrimp, chicken) which is appreciated. Would bring my parents here, but not a date. 😁
Excellent food.
Worst food i have ever tasted.
Good food, decent servings.
I'm rating this as a cheap take-out place with tasty food. I love having another Asian option close-by. If I was considering it as an eat-in restaurant, I'd dock one star because of the very limited seating
Little place with limited seating but comfortable. Very impressed by the quality of the food. The ingredients were very fresh tasting. I would go back again.
I judge a Thai restaurant by its Pad Thai, if they make it well, they're good. This pad Thai was one of the worst. Chicken was old and very dry, shrimp were overcooked, they did not give you a lime with the order. The noodles, were all stuck together. NEVER WILL I ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT AGAI!
Hot Chicken basil is my fav here. Small place but food is amazing. It’s really a gem
Such tasty food!
Great spot for a quick lunch
Cute little Thai place, friendly service. Pretty middle of the road food, but consistent and good. Like the papaya salad.
This is a very small but welcoming place with just a few tables for those that eat in. I was passing through but my friends eat there often and love the place. I would definitely make a point of going back.
The Duck Choo Chee was delicious. I wish the combo plates would offer more appetizers as one of the pick two options.
Phenomenal fresh flavors in an unassuming little place. Not cookie cutter Thai.
Ordered the chicken pad see ew, pineapple curry, and Thai tea. The pad see ew came in a very generous serving and was pretty good, if a little salty. On the other hand, the curry was relatively tasteless, but that might be because we got it mildly spicy. Service was nice, though! The food came out fast, we only waited for under 15 minutes.
Overall, this place was okay, but there are probably better Thai places in the area. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come again, unless I was craving Thai and needed it ASAP.
Food was very flavorful, enjoyed the curry and noodle dishes.
Very impressed by the quality of the food. The ingredients were very fresh tasting. I would go back again.
A ok place for lunch. Had chicken pad Thai 3 stars..
Excellent food, fast, friendly
I love Thai food and I’m a big fan of krua thai!
Impressed on First visit itself. Enjoyed the taste.
Little place with limited seating but comfortable. Great food. Very flavorful. Service is good - attentive.
Excellent food, although some of their fried rice errs on the oily side. Fine place for lunch and better quality Thai food than most around. Place is a bit small and sort of uncomfortable, but getting a table is usually not a problem. Also great for take out.
My husband calls it 'your favorite little Thai place'. He's right!
Good service, curry was good but not over the top.
One of the best Thai places in MA! I love Thai food, but recently we moved away from Brookline, and we have been missing our favorite place, Khao Sarn. None of the Thai food in Needham is any good, and the places we tried in Newton weren't great either. However, tonight we tried Krua Thai after doing some shopping at the Natick Mall and it was fantastic! The chicken dumpings were topped with just a little bit of scallions and sesame seeds and were delicious. The Pad Kee Mao, my favorite Thai dish, was the best I've had in years. The string beans and onions were perfectly cooked, just enough to still add a nice crunch, and the sauce was also the right amount of savory, sweet and spicy. We asked for the Pad Kee Mao to be mild, something we've tried to do at other places and it was either still crazy spicy or flavorless. This was perfect, just a little bite and bursting with flavor. The last thing we always get to compare Thai places was the Pad Thai, which was also so delicious, the noodles were moist and it was exactly what you expect from a Pad Thai. The prices were very reasonable, cheaper than Khao Sarn in Brookline. We will be making this a regular stop from now on, now that we have discovered it as a secret.
Family owned. Excellent take out Thai food. Always good. They have a few tables in a bright clean front of the shop. And really nice folks. Reasonably priced. Great place. Highly recommended.
Not bad Thai, quick and easy!
Excellent Massaman curry and Thai Iced Coffee.
Really nice food
