A dual menu of Thai & Vietnamese specialties plus a weekday lunch buffet are offered in casual digs.
Went with a friend, and ended up getting the number 27 large.
The pho itself was fantastic, I would highly recommend it. They also have plenty of options on the menu, so if pho is not your thing, they probably have something for you.
The location is really nice, right in downtown Lowell, but they still have plenty of space inside, which was great.
Service was excellent, the waitress was both super nice and helpful.
I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
Delicious pho. I decided to try the combo plate and the spare ribs were pretty much ALL fat. The crab rangoons were decent but nothing special, same with the egg rolls. The fried rice was good. For $13.50 for the combo plate it was decent. As I was checking out I noticed a $0.50 charge for a take out container. Kinda crazy they charge that since it was a take out order. Not sure why they charge that, am I supposed to bring my own Tupperware? Kinda odd if you ask me. The Tom Yum was pretty good. I don’t think I’d get the combo plate again but it wasn’t horrible. I tried the egg soda and it was very delicious! I want to try their soups again but maybe I’ll bring my own bowl next time….jk
Came here on an early Saturday evening for dinner.
It’s a very cozy family friendly atmosphere. The staff is attentive, but not over bearing.
We ordered chicken dumplings, rice soup with duck and salad, and pad Thai. Overall everything was great, and well worth the price.
The dumplings were some of the best we’ve had anywhere, crisp yet tender. The pad Thai was flavorful, and was a good ratio of meat to noodles. Now my absolutely decorate was the salad that came with the rice soup. It was refreshing and delicious. I genuinely wanted to eat more and more of it. The duck was so tender, and went perfectly with the soup. I had never had rice soup before, it’s flavor is very simple and I did end up adding some soy sauce and chili oil to enhance it, but other might not need it.
Overall a great experience!
Amazing service. The food was really good. Ordered the spring rolls, crab rangoon, drunken noodles and a thai drink. Not too hard to find parking in downtown Lowell. Quiet spot with an authentic vibe to it. 4* for the atmosphere since there were customers taking calls on speakerphones, unhindered. Great experience otherwise.
Old school family owned. Authentic Thai cuisine. My cousin and I shared Bon Rieu which is a seafood noodle soup with shrimp and crab. Incredible. Papaya salad was amazing. Chicken wings so crispy. Beef Laab was so flavorful and perfect texture (if you know what I mean). I had a Thai iced tea and my cousin had the egg soda. It was like a creme brûlée beverage - so refreshing! Definitely go for an early dinner because the place gets packed after work. We went at 3:30 and there was a steady flow of customers dining in and grabbing take out. You can see why it’s a pillar in the community!
Best pho I’ve ever had
Authentic PHO gem in Lowell. Simply hit the spot.
Best pho great food awesome place to eat the best in lowell

The best pho in Lowell. I wish they did deliveries or Uber eats . Sometimes you don’t want to leave your house but still craving pho.
Great service! Pho taste amazing, had really great flavor. They make the best chili oil, don’t be pussy of spice, TRY IT!
Great place, amazing food, amazing service.
They have get big selection of dishes. And the few I tasted are very delightful. Will definitely come back. Reasonably priced. Plenty of tables. Street parking can be hit or miss. Kids friendly. Relatively authentic.
I think it's one of the best places in Massachusetts. The food is SO SO GOOD.
So disappointed, been coming here for years but having ordered in a while. Today I ordered the #36 chicken pho to go, $14. Apparently, they are now giving out 1/2 as much food for the same price. It's bad enough they charge you $1.00 for each to go container and a fee for using a card, but now this? I'll take my business to sizzling kitchen.
These guys don’t get enough recognition. Amazing Vietnamese soups! Like I’m back visiting family in the suburbs of Saigon. Friendly and funny staff who remember your favorite orders. Tell ‘em the mailman said hi!
It was beautiful. I was there this morning with my friend and her son. You were perfect.
When our own restaurant Cobblestones was being rebuilt after a fire years ago, we discovered this small, authentic and delicious gem right in downtown Lowell. When the restaurant is generally filled with Southeast Asians having lunch or dinner, you know its great. It is!! Our favorite Pho and dumplings!
Food is amazing and one of the best pho places I’ve been to! The staff here are also super kind.

Food was delicious and well-priced.
I am mainly making this review because I had some of the best limes of my life here. It’s weird to write a review about limes, but they were delicious, and the server brought me extra for my pho.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the limes (and for the food)
Walked in, told us to sit anywhere. After 30 mins of waiting to order..waiter comes by and tells us to move our seats to a smaller table... because of a big party coming in.
( not our problem) still didn't take our order..
Came back and started taking the orders of people coming after us... I havent been here for 5 months since they shut down. Hit or miss every time. Staff needs training and probably a good idea to write down orders...
Super friendly great food cute environment.
Always good food and a welcoming atmosphere. One of our main go to lunch places.
They've always been one of my favorite restaurants and their chicken, fried rice, and chow foon is great. Today I was disappointed in their spicy papaya salad. I'm not sure who made it today but the vegetables that goes along with it is missing and there was something in papaya salad that wasn't fresh. I know there's fermented fish in the ingredients, but you can taste something spoil. I promise you, I've been going here for years and ordering the same salad. I wanted to go back and complain but didn't want to start problems.
We were looking for something local for Thai food and this restaurant didn't disappoint at all. Delicious food, will be coming back for the pho.
bad service and unclean restaurant. roaches everywhere
This place is great I always get the #29 it’s the rare beef noodle soup it’s always so flavorful and the service is great they know us when we come in and always greet us with smiles the food comes out fast and hot every single time and they offer real sticky rice this is a staple in my go to’s they have parking on the street it’s never hard to find
The food is delicious and craveable.
Amazing food, friendly owner, the wings and chicken noodle soup are a must!
nice tea
Great atmosphere and very good food. My family has been coming for years
Bought some pho for takeaway. Placed my order, picked it up 15 minutes later. Soup was stone cold- Not like it was in a refrigerator, but room temperature. Definitely in the food safety danger zone. I was very sad because it looked good and I was very hungry but threw it out as I didn’t want to risk getting ill.
Great food great service great price my favorite pla e to go for pho
Not great when there’s fluids leaking from the ceiling. Disgusting.
Been eating here regularly for awhile. Take out or dine in. Food and service is fantastic.
Service is super 🐌 slow.
Went with my husband and mom before an event at tsongas center. My mom is a vegetarian and there were plenty of options and when she ordered the waiter asked specifically if she was vegetarian to make sure what she ordered was okay. There pork dumplings were fantastic. My husband loved his beef noodle dish. We will absolutely go again when we’re in the area.
Food and service were disappointing
The worst food and service ever. We did not get water even after we got the food. I ordered stir fried noodles and it the vegetables were not cooked at all. There is no taste in the food. We called a person multiple time but she did not even pay attention to give us water. When finally she came the way she was serving the water was very rude. This is the worst service I have experienced ever.
맛은 무난합니다. 보통 M주문하면 될거에요. 신용카드 결제시 수수료가 나오는데 이부분 안내가 제대로 안되어 있으니 주의하세요.
Ordered ramen with seafood and apparently they brought me the wrong ramen. They took it back and brought it to a different customer EVEN THOUGH I HAD STARTED EATING IT AND THE SERVER SAW ME DOING SO
The food is good for the most part, but the service from the employees is actually horrible, especially on the weekends!
Great place for lunch!
Looks like it’s been closed down for a very long time
Charge us 20 percent tip automatically and said it’s the rule. Been here at least 6,7 times first time hearing this. Weekday server way better than weekend server two different world
20% gratuity is added mandatory. And this 20% service tips equals 45 mins wait and faceless, arrogant waiters‘ attitude. Food is good but if you wish have a bad treatment, welcome here.
Had Pad Kee Meo with duck..first time with the duck. Awesome..lots of veggies. Added Chin su sauce.
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant so far! Food is delicious and the portions are just right. Service was good and fast. I gave 3 stars because when we asked for a to-go box, the waitress placed the check's holder in the box. That was pretty gross. We asked for a new box and left.
Food was yummy. Service could have been better. Decor could be better/ cleaner.
Pho are delicious, nice portions.
Update: went back, and the service got better! Also, wings are good
I love this spot but they never pick their phone for any kind of ordering. This has happened again and again , they will pick their phone but just disconnect !
Food during the buffet October 3rd 2019 was DISGUSTING. I literally had to spit out what I was eating. The baked chicken smelled like urine I personally think the restaurant has RATS. When you walk into the building it SMELLS LIKE RATS LIVE THERE. I can only imagine how disgusting it really is in the kitchen. Their ovens need to be checked! Disgusting never going back ever again. Disrespectful management and employees. Still gross
Good food
Very pleased with the food and service. The staff was helpful and educated me on the right selection. Easy parking across the street. My first time there and will go back again! Highly recommended!! Thanks 🙏🙏
The food that we ordered could have been much better.
Love, love, love the Pho!!! Update 5 years later. Still awesome, ordered 46. Full belly, happy face.
Very tasty Thai food. We always get takeout there. Love the pad Thai.
I've ordered 6 chicken wings and papaya salad. After picking up the food and driving 30min away and noticed they only gave me 3 wings cut in half to make it 6 incomplete wings. We also found hair in the papaya salad. Needless to say this place is ripping people off.
I had the papaya salad. It was super hot spiced even though I asked for no spice. Had red things looked liked tomatos on it but I do not know papaya salad to come like that. Did not eat it.The order came late after my I inquired about where was it. Mango smoothie rather weak. Not much to say.
Go for the pho
Friendly homieGood quality mealAt a good price
Great food but service is pretty bad, guess you can't always have both lol but there beef chow foon (mee ka thung) is the best in town.
Was just okay in my opinion. The service was really slow the day we went and the food wasn't extremely memorable. Our order got messed up twice. Not the best atmosphere or decor. Probably wouldn't go back.
Just my favorite place to eat!
The best, ingredients are very fresh and prices are great. We drive down from Concord NH weekly
Always a pleasant experience here! Our family usually dines in and the servers are very friendly and accommodating. We’ve done take out a few times and were really impressed with the portions. Pho is the tastiest. Worth our commute from Methuen!
Went there for the third time. Food was okay but didn't really feel authentic thai. I got shrimp Pad thai and it was too much noodles ,less shrimp. Their thai fried rice and Pho were Amazing.
Great service. Good food with so many options on the menu.
Fried chicken wings are the best fried chicken wings I’ve ever had.
All other dishes like beef noodle, flat noodle, red curry with chicken, etc are excellent.
The only part I don’t like is serving.
There were multiple times they totally forgot one of our orders, gave us wrong orders, brought appetizer way after main dishes served, etc.
I’m not sure this is the result of language barrier issue, but I have to say I’m little nervous whenever I go there because what’s going to happen with my orders.
Even with this problem, I will be still going this little gem because the food are genuinely good.
Update 2/8/23 : Last 5 visits, we’ve not have any problems of getting the right orders and the new staff seem more professional and efficient than before. The food taste is still amazing. Our family really likes this restaurant more than ever.
They have the best pho in town. Best chili oil and pickled jalapeños too. But one day I wanted to try some thing different so I got sticky rice and fried chicken and a roach came out of the sticky rice basket. Lost my appetite after that. Told the older lady and her reaction towards us was as if it was our fault?? We didn’t argue back, so we just left.
Food sounds good, I called in as of 01/24/23 and they said no more Buffett. Okay, I’ll be going elsewhere.
Beef Pho was pretty good. Nice flavor. Beef spring roll with the peanut sauce was incredible! That sauce would make cardboard taste good.
not allergen friendly. previously had them accomodate my allergy request no problem, suddenly someone else claims it's impossible. also hung up on me mid explanation. rude and unhelpful
Delicious! Some of the best and freshest Vietnamese food I've had. Definitely will visit again.
Best Vietnamese I've had !
This was always my go-to Vietnamese restaurant in Lowell. The service here is usually pretty good and the wait staff are very friendly. Yesterday I ordered a bunch of food and 1 of them was pho special. My husband went to pick it up and brought it home for me to eat (because I was sick). After finishing half of the noodle soup, I noticed something floating in it. I looked closer and noticed it was a tiny cockroach 🪳 floating in there. Aaargh, IT WAS DEFINITELY DISGUSTING!
This is not the 1st time I saw cockroach there. I saw it crawling in the buffet table before the pandemic. I mentioned it to the waitstaff and thought they took care of it...I guess they didn't.
FYI: My house does not have cockroaches or any bugs
Best Pho in Lowell. I have tried all Pho in Lowell and in most cities surrounding Lowell, and this place has the most delicious PHO. Their big bowl is so huge that can serve two people. Their red beef is so tender as well as their other types of meat for Pho Dac Biet. Their meat ball is also yummy. The best of all is the soup flavor. They also have jalapeños pickles, chili oil, hoisin sauce and veggies for the sides. Their calamari is also delicious.
I don’t know if you guys had this issues before but I went to restaurant yesterday (Sunday) and there was an old lady worked there. The restaurant was so busy, I could understand, I asked her to get me some utensils but then she ignored it and asked another staffs to get it, she just stood there and looked around. I noticed her the most and the annoying thing was she stood there and asked why the customers didn’t give her tips, I don’t know if she is a boss or not but the way she looks, it does not. That is so unprofessional! But other staffs were nice tho
Excellent, fast and to my request. Portion size very good for the price. Yellow curry had just the right amount of heat.
My server was very polite and helpful/patient with my questions.
Definitely will recommend and be back.
Pho and pad thai were pretty good. Service here is pretty fast and our food came like 5 mins after we ordered. Waiters were running around even though the place was semi busy, but they are very kind and attentive.
We were in the area visiting the college (about a 12 minute walk from admissions building) and had an early lunch. Very quick service and was very good. Most dishes were $11 to $14 so a really good value. Worth the walk over.
Food was good and quickly arrived. Server was busy but still polite.
Note they do not have lunch menu or lunch buffet any longer. But serving size seem to have gotten smaller.
Also, they charge extra for use of Credit Card.
Hope they also bring soy nuggets under vegetarian options.
Always late whenever i order take out which seems didnt pay respect to customers. It had happened to me for 3 times.
Absolutely Delicious! I am not one to venture off the American Cuisine, I ordered some food tonight and some egg rolls on the side, and I’m stuffed…. So good. The sauce is so good!
Almost always consistently good quality pho. Good prices. street parking only.
I recommend their Bun Bo Hue. We went there with another couple. All four of us agreed that it is one of the best Bun Bo Hue we have. Their pad thai is also good, the right tanginess, the right moisture, not soggy and no ketchup coloring it. The only comment is to have a little more egg and some slices of tofu.
My go to pho restaurant. I have been going for years. Service, food, and prices are all excellent! Make sure to stop by next time you're in downtown Lowell.
Every single time that they made a mistake on my order
Pho was the best I've had the vermicelli noodles were not so good only appetizer id recommend is the spring rolls. basically if you want good pho come here not worth ordering anything else. portions are generous and price is fair.
Food I've had here is pretty good but the service needs more improvement - though the staff are generally friendly, they are slow to serve, such as requests for checks, extra sauces or utensils...
Edit: upon entering, I was hesitant because of a weird bathroom smell wafting in throughout the restaurant and lack on AC in a hot humid day. However, the noodles were still tasty and delicious. They also were good at making sure our orders were correct despite our modifications to the dish, which was greatly appreciated!
I always have the beef noodle soup and it's awesome, everytime. Quantity is appreciable. You won't have enough space left if you try the large bowl of soup noodle for just $13.
Highly recommend.
I ordered 40 piece chicken wings and got 34 wings instead of 40 wings, And short changed me (Not cool 👎Be aware )
This restaurant food not good is horrible
I’ve been to two other pho spots in lowell and this is, by far, my favorite. The broth was flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked and it was a heart serving of beef. Their house chili oil definitely packs a big punch so be careful if you’re heavy handed (i learned the hard way). This has definitely become my go-to pho spot.
Best Asian food in Lowell
As always awesome food and reasonable prices!
This was a pleasant surprise. We were planning to have lunch at another Thai restaurant, but when we arrived it was closed. We walked by this restaurant and decided to try it. We’re happy that we stopped in! I had stirfried vegetables and noodles with tofu. It came with a mild spice. There’s a few chili sauces on the table if you’d like to add spice to your dish. The quality and quantity was great. Don’t expect the restaurant to have any sort of decor. This is a basic eating establishment with a great staff. I hope to return again when I’m in the area.
Love this place for good eats.
Best papaya salad in the city! Side it w/ their fried chicken wings.
Dined in for the first time in forever. Food came out fast and great waiters. Especially the older khmer woman there. She's super sweet. No disappointments at all. I just wished that the buffet was still opened daily
Ordered number 45. Soup was amazing and the mango smoothie was so good I ordered a second. I didn’t specify that I wanted to eat in the restaurant so when they gave me my order to go I asked to sit and eat he was very accommodating and served my meal with all the utensils and was just extremely polite and made me feel good. There are always lots of people coming in and eating at this restaurant. It is a pleasant and clean place to sit and eat. I very rarely write reviews for businesses however Viet-Thai is an exception because I had a great experience there.
Awesome food. Got some stir fry and asked for it to be extra spicy, best stir fry ever. And I got the general gau chicken for my wife and she had no complaints. Fried calamari is interesting glad I gave it a try, I will be back!
If you like ordering some food for a bang for you buck definitely hit up this place. They got a lunch time buffet as well. This place it fairly cheap compared to the other restaurants in the area. If you got parties. Definitely ask for the catering menu its a good deal i swear on it. Decent food. Fried chicken, sticky rice. Hot Dayum get your some munchin.
Great food and great prices!
Best crispy chicken wings!!! I don't order wings from any place else.
The chicken wings are the best !!! Very flavorful!!
Highly recommended!!!!
Food is always great.
