My wife ordered the Wonton Soup and Lo Mein while I went with the Scorpion Role and Thai Fried Rice with Chicken. My wife enjoyed her meal as did I. My rice was cooked to perfection and had a nice amount of chicken and vegetables. The Scorpion Role was very fresh and tasty with large pieces. Catherine did a great job as our waitress. She was attentive and quick to bring us whatever we asked for. It was a nice dinner for two.

Tom Kha soup was out of this world, absolutely would recommend. The crab rangoon were the perfect amount of sweetness and they came with a side of sweet chili sauce, would also recommend. Lastly I got the sticky mango rice which was the perfect desert. Very sweet mango and rice that was not overly wet.

Seriously- get the soup.

Today we left with smiles, we had a male host and female waiter but i didn’t catch their names. they were both professional and kind. They match the vibe of the owners.

Food is always delicious! My favorite is the Hot Basil Fried Rice with Chicken and the Crab Rangoon. The Tempora is also very good. The best thing about 9th Monarch is the customer service! Especially now a days many places have none.

The pad thai was probably the worst I've had and was overpriced for the portion. Wrong noodles, no spice, bland. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Greatest Thai Restaurant in this area...

Customer service wise
The person who took my order over the phone seemed really nice, and when I got to the restaurant, they were equally friendly. I left a generous tip because the pre-order experience left me pretty satisfied. However, things took a turn when I got home and discovered that my vegan basil fried rice was missing. I called them up and explained the situation, and they mentioned that their receipt showed it as a vegan basil dinner. Initially, they offered to place a new order since a refund wasn't possible. That was fine with us, and they assured us it would be ready for tomorrow.

But then, their attitude suddenly changed from friendly to stressed and even a bit rude. They started asking us to send them a photo of the receipt, claiming they needed to check if there was a problem in their system. We explained that we had already thrown out the receipt along with the dinner's containers. They continued insisting, repeating the request a couple more times. Eventually, we told them we'd try to retrieve the receipt after we finished eating. There was this incredibly long silence on their end, during which we hoped they'd realize how unreasonable they were being. Instead, they brusquely agreed, and when we asked for the name of the person we spoke to, they just hung up on us. So yeah, it's safe to say their customer service was pretty subpar.

Bummed because I was very hopeful in the beginning then they failed in the end.

Food
The food was mediocre and uninspiring.
Yellow curry- this was actually really flavorful. So out of the $100 worth of food we ordered, this would be the only item we would reorder.

drunken noodles- the tofu was flavored well but the noodles in it which, in my opinion is the best part, had little flavor. Lackluster.

Pad Thai- Different style of noodles, very very skinny noodles. Insipid.

Pho - we thought maybe the noodles just needed some time to sit in the broth. But nope, just bland. Biggest disappointment as we were most excited for this one.

Although we didn't order this, the basil dinner in the garlic chili sauce was very watery. We didn't eat it.

Had high hopes for trying this place for the first time, but disappointed overall. Can't say maybe next time.

Good Thai food.

We go here at least once a week. My wife loves their coconut soup, and their sushi is really good as well. They also have a vegan section that has vegan Pad Thi. A lot of people think plaza restaurants aren't good, and I beg to differ. Go here, and you will see how good it is.

My family has gone to this place when it was called Thai Taste always delicious. Last time we had take out my chicken was little pieces and dried up. Thought maybe they had an off night. Tonight I ordered over 70 dollars for us and we won't be going back. 14.95 mango fried rice 2 shrimp, 4 small dried up pieces of chicken an 3 pieces of Mango and rice. Definitely not worth it. The Pad Thai again dried up chicken and rice was tasteless. Steak platter well 17.95 for rice and the kids steak at bocca for 12.00 dollars give more steak. So sad we really liked the place. It was nice to get the family together though.

Enjoyed some delicious sushi with my fiancé Tuesday night. Our waiter was very prompt and polite, asked if we needed help with any ordering as well. The menu is huge, so there’s something for everyone! Will definitely be back again! Make sure you try the Crispy banana with coconut ice cream!

Horrible service it took over an hour to serve us while everyone that came in after us started eating before we got our order taken. Very over priced for mediocre food!

Horrible service. Waited over an hour for our food. When we showed up the dining room only had one other table with people. We sat there and watched everyone that came in after us get served while we still had nothing. And then when my food came out, it wasn’t even what I ordered not worth the money at all.

They don't answer their phones when they are busy. I called over a period of 45 minutes and no answer. About 3:45 pm to 4:15 on a Saturday afternoon. I wanted to place a to go order. I am a frequent customer here.

I finally went to the restaurant and was told they were busy and whenever they are busy, they stop answering the phone.

When I then asked if I could place an order to go, they told me they were busy and they couldn't take the order.

I went up the road about 200 yards to Silvalai Thai Restaurant instead and got my take out order there instead. They were happy for my business. 😁

I ordered their Mango Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon's to go. I've never had their Mango FR before, but wow, it was delicious! It has the perfect amount of curry, and plenty of mangoes to be eaten with their fried rice. It also came with two shrimps, which added a good contrast of flavor and texture. The crab Rangoon's were crunchier than other places I've had, which is preferable. Usually they're soggy by the time I arrive home, but these stayed crunchy! They also tasted really good with their dipping sauce.

Nice place with a full Thai menu and sushi menu. Food was decent, though the pad Thai had a slight fish sauce flavor that was a little too prevalent. The server was a very nice guy, and the wait for food was reasonable. Everything was served fresh and at proper temperature.

Not enough seating, had to sit at the bar. They were very busy and forgot one of our dishes. The food was excellent.

Service was friendly and the food was very good. I got spicey tuna sushi. It was excellent. Their Wasabi was very potent. None of the fried food was greasy or over fried. Everyone enjoyed their meal and my friends were very happy with the $25 gift certificate I got them.

This cute little Thai restaurant never disappoints! Friendly staff and VERY delicious food. As a vegetarian. There is TONS of options to add tofu or veggies instead of meat. Must try their Thai iced tea and yellow curry!

Worst sushi I've ever eaten. Got 5 different rolls. I'll keep this simple. The rice was undercooked and at room temperature. The fish tasted old. Nothing seems fresh when it was put together. The tempura that was supposed to be crunchy was soft and all over the place. I hope I don't get sick tomorrow.

Well ive been getting take out from this place for quite sometime now and its always been good but my recent take out experience wasn't that great,the thai fried rice was very dry and the chicken for the sweet and sour chicken was like breaded leather the shrimp that is included is usually always peeled and the portions got smaller so I don't know what really changed but for the fact that they let that very dried out breaded chicken out the door is very insulting and unexceptable to me so am done!

They close at 8:15 and stayed open a WHOLE HOUR for our group of nine. We got there at 750 about. I appreciate that so much 🖤

Super friendly staff. Our waitress was kind and helped me pick out food for my partner and talked to the younger kids and kept them engaged.

Parking was ample, easy to get to, clean restaurant. Walked in and was immediately greeted. Hostess was friendly. Server was very friendly. Made an order and it came out in good time. The food was absolutely delicious. Serving size was great as well. Zero complaints. Will be going back again.

Celebrated a great birthday dinner. Tons of selection of Thai and Sushi on the menu. I had Seafood red curry and spicy lobster roll. Appetizers were crab rangoon and wings. All the food was tasty and fresh. The staff are very welcoming and excellent customer service. Prices were also good.

Great California rolls and beef satay. My husband and I really enjoyed it!
The only suggestion we would make is for
them to have some light beer available, like coors or miller lite. We would go more often if they would do that.

I was disappointed.. sushi rolls fall completely apart, they are so loose.. the "crunchies" they put on top, were way too plentiful and overpowering... It was a Lobster Roll with not even a hint of lobster taste.. The beef appetizer was ok.. it's pretty much teriyaki on a stick, but is tender.. the sauces they are served with unfortunately are poor tasting, in my opinion.. it was all just really "Ok"... But, honestly, I wouldn't give it another try... Too many amazing places out there, for that same fine dining price..

The food gave me diarrhea. Specifically the crispy chicken basil. My daughter had the flat noodle dish and the noodles couldn't even hold their shape. Maybe they were overcooked? She didn't like it. My older daughter did like the sushi.

First time customers. Wanted to try their skills on the basics so we ordered Fresh rolls, beautifully done with Thai basil, plus shrimp pad Thai. Both as good as we had in Asia. We will be back for sure.

They offer both Thai food and sushi, I went for the Thai food and had some delicious ground pork dumplings called "Silver Bags." My main course was Red Curry served with white rice. Also, sweet Thai iced tea. I will definitely go back.

Food was good; service not so much. Didn’t realize they closed at 8:15pm on a Friday night. Not sure why they didn’t say anything until after they sat us down at 8pm. Never felt so rushed in my life. Didn’t even finish eating our food and a check was put on our table. Went elsewhere for dessert, since we weren’t even asked. Needed a box and had the box just thrown on the table and she walked away. No container for sauces. Suggest you could try doing takeout?

I started off with the crab rangoons and they were amazing. Then I had the dish call “The 9th Monarch” which was a mango, salmon, avocado roll which was delicious. I also got a side of amazing salmon sashimi which was also very good!! Then for dessert I got the fried ice cream which was unbelievably delicious. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who likes sushi. You won’t be disappointed!!

I wasn't sure if this place was good until I finished my food.
I ordered the teriyaki beef with vegetables and white rice, it was delicious!!!
My daughter had the sweet potato roll that was also perfect to her taste.
The 2 waitress works together so they are always making sure you are satisfied. We got the sticky rice with coconut ice cream for desert. If you never had it you should give it a try. The sticky rice is hot and creamy and pairs perfectly with the ice cream. There was no waiting time although they were fairly busy. The free parking lot had plenty of spots. We will go back for the food and service!

The food was great! Amy is a riot, and she made our visit a visit to remember, we laughed the entire time we were there Honestly, I've eaten at lot of restaurants, I think she's my favorite waitress I've had....my friends and I will definitely be back!

The BEST Thai food on the south coast. The Quality is A++…. The housemade peanut dressing is out of this world, dartmouth is LUCKY.

Came here with my wife. For our appetizer we had the tofu. For my dinner entree I had the vegetarian rainbow basil. It was amazing! Chili sauce was fantastic and veggies were super fresh. My wife had the garden curry. Our waitress was a sweet lady (forgot her name) . She made you feel as if you were home. Super sweet and friendly. Overall was a solid experience. Super pleased and already planning our next return.

This was my first time eating here. I ordered takeout.
I must have gone on an off night because there's so many good reviews and I know people personally who have gone and really liked eating here. I ordered pork gyoza which were very good! I also ordered the Thai fried rice with chicken which is usually my go to dish. It was pretty gross. Rice was really mushy and there was no flavor. I've had this same dish at various other Thai restaurants and this was by far the worst that I've had.
Like I said it must have been an off night because everyone else seems to like it. The interior looked really clean and nice, I would definitely come here to sit down and have a meal. I'll try eating here again and update my review when I do.

We used to come here all the time but then we moved out of state. Today we were in the area so we decided to get our 2 favorite dishes to go. First, we paid an extra 2.50 to get beef (instead of chicken) and onions in our pad see ew and got maybe 5 tiny pieces of beef and it was extremely greasy & watery. Second, we got the crispy thai basil chicken. The chicken itself was super dry, the batter was dark but by when we settled down to eat (maybe 10 mins later) the coating was soggy. Not only that the sauce (which they put in a separate container) was so watery that I thought it was some sort of soup. Next time we're in the area we'll have to find a new place to get food. It's super disappointing because we used to love eating there and would go several times a month for like 5 years before we moved away :(

Pleasant surprise on the road!
We stopped by on our way to Provincetown from NYC. Very safe and hygienic entering and processing of order and takeout in times of pandemic, and delicious food. We had sushi, Tom Kar and Garden Curry. Lots of takeaways like pickled ginger, glutenfree soy sauce and more. In general excellent glutenfree and vegetarian options.
Interior looks beautiful, and I hope to enjoy it dining indoors one day. All the best to their friendly team!
