Since August 2020, Bangkok Kitchen Thai Restaurant has been locally owned and operated in Odenton. The authenticity comes from the owner's background and upbringing in Buriram, Thailand. All of the produce comes from locally sourced businesses and Asian markets. The restaurant has not offered a buffet since the new ownership took over in 2020 in order to provide you with the most fresh and authentic Thai dishes available. Please come visit and drop us a review to let us know how we are doing!
Ordered the Pad See Ew, I've never had one like this before... for all the wrong reasons. It was swimming in a lot of runny dark liquid. The noodles were inedible. The broccoli disintegrated in the sauce, the only redeeming quality was the pork belly. It was the only thing in the dish I didn't throw away. $18 out the window.
If you Google this dish, it's supposed to look nothing like the picture
I ordered Thai fried rice with chicken, medium spicy to-go. When I got home and tried it, the spice level was somewhere between hot and Thai hot, nearly inedible. It looked good, but if the place can't control the heat, why ask for a preference?
The food was amazing. Everything came out in good timing and the spice levels were perfect. (I love spice and find that some Thai places have begun to adjust their spice to American palates and make it not so spicy, NOT THIS PLACE) although the food had spice it did not lack in flavor it came together perfectly.
The restaurant at first was a bit off putting on the outside, and when we walked in Noone was around to seat us, but other than that everything went smoothly.
I would 100% make it my go to Thai place for the area.
Loved this place for years for carry out mostly, I don’t know what’s going on but last 3 times we ordered the portion was smaller and smaller and the quality was awful. Last two we tossed, it was not prepared correctly. My sister and best friend and Thai and I know what I’m eating. They used to be awesome, hopefully they fire the chef or something. It’s been ass since the last month or so in 2024.
So glad that I came here for lunch today. They had my favorite Thai noodle dish which every restaurant doesn't make, and it was delicious. Very nice portion and very flavorful. Mary was excellent in her service. Attentive and friendly. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to come back to try some more of my favorite Thai dishes. Come and eat here and support this business. You trust you will not be disappointed.
Come here for the first time and order Yum Talay (seafood salad), pork fried rice and Kapow Eggplant special. All I can say: don’t let the empty tables deter you from having good food. Order food and go to sit at a table. Food comes out in a good timely manner. I have to say, I love the Yum Talay (seafood salad). Assorted seafood is in decent quality and cooked just right, the tamarind dressing is great. Definitely my favorite. Fried rice is just right (not too dry, not too soggy), flavorful and tasty. Eggplant! Another of my favorite. The breading on the eggplant slices is perfect. Just perfect and tasty. All and all, it was a great experience for me tonight. Base on this meal today, I’d recommend you try this place.
The food here was excellent and the prices were decent. The lady working there was very nice and service was quick. I got the pork pad woonsen which I would definitely recommend. It was very flavorful and everything was cooked perfectly

Awesome Thai!!!

Best food, this food saved my soul and brought me to the light of the lord.
The chef was extremely rude. I sent back the drunken noodles because they tasted charred, but the chef dismissed my complaint, saying, "That's not my fault" (to the host at first, loud enough for me to hear, then again to me when she came out) and claiming it was her recipe. Despite maintaining a calm composure throughout the ordeal, she showed no concern and insisted we pay for the food I returned. She continued ranting loudly in the kitchen, clearly upset, without caring that we could hear her. While the host was polite, the chef’s customer service was absolutely horrendous. While my boyfriend liked his fried rice, he left it untouched due to the chef’s behavior. We’ve tried many Thai restaurants and wanted to explore a new one, but this negative experience ensures we won’t be returning.

I would’ve given this place 5 stars
But today I found out they charge you the same price for less amount of food when you order take out
For the last month the food at this place has not been good at all. We eat there 1-2 times a week but the last month the food has been flavorless and inconsistent. Maybe they have a new cook or they removed some of the ingredients. It’s really sad because the food was so good. Very disappointing.
We've been ordering from here for 5 years but it doesn't seem the same. Flavors were bland and portion sizes were very small for the price. I ordered drunken noodles with shrimp. It was an $18 dish with only 4 small shrimp. My second entree container was only half full. My total order was $70 for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 1 soup. My broccoli and chicken dish had black scorch marks where it had been burned. They should have not served this. Very disappointed and I won't be ordering here again.
I wish I could give this place negative stars. It is absolutely the worst Asian food I have ever had in my life. I got an order of drunken noodles and it came as a black mush. And the Tofu was fried to look like a dried up dish sponge. And when I asked them about it, they said this is what it’s supposed to look like….NO food is supposed to look like this.
I will definitely not be returning here

We stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was fast.Food taste fresh and delicious. we meet the owner and she was so wonderful!!! Will recommend 10/10
Yuck, yuck, 🤮. Waited one hour for delivery based on online reviews. Just ate this Thai food and able to compare to Thai food ordered again and again in mall in Germany. This food is more expensive, totally overpriced, overrated and doesn’t even compare. Don’t be confused with the real deal. Totally overrated nonsense.
Awesome food & great service! I want to come back here again already! I loved the Thai Tea I ordered seconds & the dishes I had tried: Ro-main, drunken noodles with tofu, and the fried rice!!!!
Great food
Order food less spicy than you think as ours was all spice and little flavor
Best food we have had in a long time, best food we have had in Maryland, period! I don't have words to describe how delicious the dishes are in this place, and if u love spicy, this is the place to visit.!
Food was absolutely amazing!! Reminded me of my visit to Thailand. Definitely a must and will return soon
Purchased the Pad See EW and it was really delicious! Definitely a must try if in town.
In need of a quick dinner, a huge thanks goes out to Austin who was able to have our call-in order ready in 15 minutes despite all of the online ordering platforms quoting much longer wait times. We had the beef drunken noodles and chicken Pad Prik King (which does come with rice) -- both of which were good. They have reasonable prices and serving sizes. I can see why it's a local favorite.
Loved the food, vibe and the server! She was the sweetest. Amazing experience overall, would recommend!
Food was quite small and overall taste was just bleh!
Really nice place! I had their ro-main which is like Chinese lo-mein noodles. Service was very attentive and personable and memorable! Not sure why Google description was “buffet” but it’s pretty good!
Great Thai food here! I've only tried their rice dishes and at every spice level. Egg rolls are the bomb. They also have limited alcohol selections.
Food was awesome and so was the service!
Welcoming, attentive service and the food came out hot, fast and fresh.
Tom Yum soup hit the spot and the Shrimp Phuket was delicious. And had to get Thai tea, which was perfectly balanced.
Recommend this hidden gem for authentic Thai cooking and service. The upbeat Thai dance music gave good Songkran vibes!
Food is really good, but wife found a long hair in her spring roll today. Pretty gross and makes me not want to order again. I know this isn't the first review I've seen about this place, mentioning hair in the food. Maybe wear hats or hair nets in the back?
I stopped for lunch. I had not been here for at least 5 years. I was pleased to see that interior was very clean and updated since my last visit. The server was very friendly and accommodating as I ordered something to eat-in and dish to take home with me.
The Pad See Ew was flavorful and cooked nicely.
I found out that the restaurant changed owners about 4 years ago. There is a big improvement in the food under the new ownership.
Definately looks like a hole in the wall in a shady plaza. The food was great! My partner and I were happily surprised! Highly recommend dropping by if you have the chance. Being able to choose your spice (0-5) makes this good for those who don't have Thai often (most Thai food is on the semi spicy side)
Yum! Try out the crispy shrimp pukuet
Order lemongrass soup from them. It was horrible; very dilute, tasteless & smelled like something they splashed lemon juice in. $15 wasted; I bought it late into when they were about to close. I ended up eating my rice plain as I did not have any alternative to eat with when I got home.
Truly fantastic! Watch out with the spice, next time ima get medium spice.
I ordered the crispy duck and it was delightful
I love this place. Used to visit regularly when I lived in the area. Stopped on a trip to see if it was still as good as I remember and it was. I absolutely love the Chicken Phuket medium spicy. Can't seem to find it at other Thai restaurants anywhere I go. I'm not an aficianado so maybe it's called something else. The place definitely looks like a hole in the wall from the outside. I probably wouldn't stop here if I didn't know about it. But the food is amazing.
Our visit was on 21 August 2023 for lunch during a business trip. We were a party of 4 and this place was close to business location. My dish was Pad Thai Chicken no spicy; they were aware of my seafood and nut allergies. The décor is pleasant and I loved the main countertop. The place was clean, but our table was slightly wobbly. The staff were pleasant, helpful and professional. It was plenty of food for the price and the food was excellent. Was a great place to dine for lunch during business trip. Would stop back through. One of my co-workers had the spicy, so beware if you can’t handle it. Smile!
Amazing food. My wife (from Thailand) wanted to go back the very next day because it was so good.
The restaurant itself is not that big, typical mom and pop restaurant. Parking is behind the building. There are two entrances to the restaurant, one on the main street and another behind the building where the parking lot is located.
Inside the restaurant you can see alot of the Thai decorations. And the server greeted my husband and I right away once we steps in.
Food wasn’t bad at all. We ordered a Tom yum soup with chicken, a Green curry with tofu and vegetables, and a Crispy duck. This is the first restaurant that my husband encountered the server asking for the spicy level for the tom yum soup, which was a bit surprising to him. Because normally, it isn’t a choice on the level of spicyness. But tbh, I think the soup spicy level is on point, but missing that lemon sour taste though. The green curry was pretty good, except I wish there would be more curry. I feel like enough ingredients but not enough curry when the curry is the main source of the dish. The crispy duck tastes pretty good too. Fairly tender, and very flavorful. But expects alot of chewing from the crunchiness. My husband kept on going at the dish but at the same time complain tired of chewing. Hahaa.
Local hole in the wall. Building is totally worn out. Used to love their lunch buffet but they told me they are not bringing it back after the pandemic.
Summer 2022 I got Seafood Soup and Larb (pics). Could have used more lettuce pieces. Both were excellent.
Tom Yum n Tom Ka (very similar but with a bit of coconut milk) soups are both really excellent. I usually get them with shrimp.
Crab rangoon appetizer was really good if this is what you're in the mood for. Better to share.
Spice level varies a bit, be sure to discuss spice level if you order of the menu. I used the communal spice tray which I'm not sure I would do again. Instead I'll ask for a fresh shot of Sriracha and fish sauce on the side.
Chicken Krapow was amazing, new fav. Basically ground chicken in spices, herbs and basil sauce (pic).
Next visit I got the Beef Drunken Noodles (pic). Was good, but prolly won't order again. I don't like that a lot of restaurants are now using wide squares of noodle instead of regular wide noodle.
Really good yellow curry and the spice levels are reasonable! Definitely a must try!
Best thai in the area Pad see ew noodles with broccoli best ever had gotta try it omg
The Drunken Noodles and Tom Yum were delicious! That broth is everything!
Food was soo good. I will say i asked for medium spicy it seems spicier than that but I love spicy foods so it didn’t really matter. Good portions also!
A family owned, local hole in the wall restaurant tucked in the middle of nowhere (approximately 15 minutes from BWI Airport.). I sat myself down and it took the server a couple of minutes to assist me even though the business level was slow this evening. I asked for Thai spice and my wish was granted. Food was authentic but zero service 🫥
This place is great if you're traveling for business, or just a curious local foodie. When I first walked in there was no one there...no one. A bit confused, I just looked at the menu and started making my decisions. Lady came out, asked if it was for pickup and then told me to sit anywhere. She helped me a few minutes later and my food was out and HOT in less than 10 minutes. I asked for Thai spicy and I got what I asked for. The spice could've been a bit higher in my opinion but don't get me wrong, my mouth hadn't felt like that in a long time. Had to take some breaks. Aroy kap!! Very good!! Affordable, delicious, great service and close to a lot that's going on.
Decor reminded me of something I'd see at a beach resort though. Maybe they're going for a Phuket vibe.
Their spice levels are no joke so be mindful going in! The drunken noodle was so juicy and soft and the veggies were perfectly cooked with nice crunch in the bell peppers and soft onions! Get takeout from here, you won’t regret it!
My wife loves Thai food and had been looking for a good Thai place. She didn’t enjoy the previous owners food offered at this restaurant. But we met the new owner and decided to give it another try. The food was fantastic!!! Service was great! I definitely loved the Sangha beer served in a frosted mug!
I went to here with a friend for lunch. We talked and talked and just relaxed. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Nice music. Clean. I will be coming back.
I love this place however the portions have shrunk tremendously yet the prices remain the same. Although the food is good it is not worth it for such small portions. The to-go containers are smaller so you definitely notice the difference.
Good Food!! I got the combination rice with Spice level 3 (I enjoy spicy) and it was delicious!!
Love this place .owner ,she's so nice 😊😊😊😊
struck up front counter person lady who treats customers and drivers like they are better than them. this place is racist and stay away
So far I’ve only had takeout here, but it’s always delicious and the portions are great! I do plan on eating in some day.
It was pretty good, but they are no joke with the spicy level. I love a good spicy dish, but I got the “medium spicy” and it was full of hot peppers it was almost inedible. So fair warning!! Probably get the least spicy one, it’ll probably still be pretty spicy. And if you’re questioning my spice level, there was no joke at-least a handful of chopped spicy peppers in my dish, they aren’t playin. 🤣 Tread carefully. I would try again though and maybe rate them higher. It’s hard to judge since my tastebuds were on fire.
Excellent Thai food. The hot is HOT but delicious. Great local place for a quick dine in or takeout. Regular for us.
My first time trying Kapow & Thai tea was from here. I purchased pick up, my meat of choice was shrimp. It was sooooo good! I almost circled back to get a second order 😂😅
I was really impressed with the food sizes, and the utmost deliciousness! I am a very picky eater who loves food, and I gotta say, they went above my expectations. This will now be my new place to go for Thai...heck, on the ride home, I already done called my friends and told them about this place.
(I ordered the chicken and steak combo fried rice, Bangkok chicken fried rice, satay, massamen curry and taro root with sticky rice.)
I only gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it was cold cold in there. Otherwise, I enjoyed the lighting, the non-overlapping smells of foods and the background music.
Best Pad Thai in the area. Better than Thai Waugh Chapel and cheaper. Generous portion sizes as well and they don't skimp on the meat. Well done. Just watch out for the potholes in the parking lot.
Come here for the first time and order Yum Talay (seafood salad), pork fried rice and Kapow Eggplant special. All I can say: don’t let the empty tables deter you from having good food. I tried this place for my 1st experience eating Thai cuisine, and fell in love! I had the Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. Both dishes were very fresh with great spice, as requested. Unfortunately, since this place is 40 mins away from me, I ordered from a closer Thai restuarant closer to me, and was immensly disappointed. I look forward to coming here again.
Used to come here often, unfortunately wasn't aware that all of the dishes have fish/ oyster sauce.
Consistently hot, fresh, tasty meals. The restaurant is also nice and clean.
Loved the tilapia house special. Service was also great!
🤤🤤🤤
Has an excellent atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food is everything you could want. The food was spicy as promised according to our order. If you pick Thai Spicy, it's gonna be THAI SPICY *Delicious*. Whether you eat there or to go, it's my favorite Thai spot nearby.
The food was great.
I will back.
My first time in 2 years.
Great quick food but the Thai Iced Tea wasn't that good and at $4 that kinda stinks
So delicious! We ordered Chicken Panang, Chicken Khee Mao, and crab wontons! Absolutely yummy!
Meh
Great food, great service. Some kind of music would have been nice, but I don't think they get a lot of dine-in traffic here, mostly to-go
Really good food and well presented. The guy running the place was really nice and attentive
I place my order over the phone and my order was shrimp fried rice. When I got there and asked for my order they said $18 and I was like this better be good. $18 shrimp fried rice is unheard of. When I got it the bowl was small and it was only five shrimp in the entire thing. The food here is overpriced although it tastes pretty good but not worth the money. I've had better for less. This was my first and last time at this spot unless every other restaurant in the state is closed.
Best Thai food in the area by far!
If you want authentic Thai then you might get what you want. I’ve ate this restaurant for over 20 years. I always order larb and/or nomtok. I was courteous and mentioned to the owner that the dish was off. In fact I ate there two days in a row hoping that the day prior was a bad day. The owner said, “if you don’t like the food, then dine somewhere else”. Hence why I’m on here now posting this review. If you want GOOD authentic Thai food go to Thai of Waugh Chapel or Bangkok Gardens. What a shame. Bad business.
Pretty yummy
The buffett is gone (thanks COVID) but the food is still great!
The yellow chicken curry was super tasty with just the right amount of spice!
Some of the best Thai food in the area. Looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but is excellent.
I've been going to this place for over 10 years. Unfortunately, the prices have increased tremendously and the food is not the same. The family feel the restaurant used to have is gone. The owner (or the man the tall man that looks like the owner) does not speak or welcome you. Additionally, they made a mistake and left the coconut cream sauce and toasted seeds off the Thai sweet sticky rice. I'd already gotten home when I noticed it. I called the restaurant to alert them of the error, and they told me to drive back to get it. No apology or service recovery, ie. free dessert next visit, was offered. I will drive furthur for better service and lower prices instead.
I’ve had my fair share of Pad Thai and the one I ordered from this place did not taste like Pad Thai at all. I ordered chicken Pad Thai and it seem to have pieces of pork in it, which really confused me. I also ordered Spring Rolls which left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. I don’t think I will come back but I would say it’s worth a try to generate your own opinion.
I used to come here all the time, when I lived into the area a couple of years ago, their food was exceptional. I'm giving it 2 starts because I think they changed chefs and management. The past few times I've been in the area and stopped by to eat, the taste isn't as good anymore. The portions are also smaller with a hike in prices, which I wouldn't mind paying if it tastes good, but the food is now average at best. Dont think i will stop here anymore when I'm in the area.
Excellent experience!! The six course meal was seasoned to perfection. Lovely atmosphere and the service was great!!! I shall return.
👍👍👍👍👍
This is a must-go place!!! It looks like a random back of a store, but it is SO good. The food has been excellent across both owners I've had it from (2018 and 2022) and has always been great as long as my uncle has been coming here too (since 2002 or so). Also friendly staff and clean place!
Bangkok Thai used to be my “The Thai” place to go and their dishes were so flavorful and authentic that I wouldn’t wanna go to any other place. For some reasons, maybe due to the recent change of ownership or something during the pandemic, the 6 dishes I ordered today(Thai Fried Rice, Fried Eggplant, Kapow, Drunken noodles, Seafood salad, Egg rolls) were simply very salty and had no authentic thai flavor that I used to enjoy at the restaurant. Only except Seafood salad and the egg rolls, the rest of the dishes were too salty that my palate was close to numb due to the extreme saltiness. I’ll give it a try a second chance sometime in the future. But, since I had such a high expectations from the restaurant, today’s experience was a total disappointment.
Their drunken noodles are the best!
Awesome
I loved this place for years, their lunch buffet was delicious and perfect for a quick lunch break!
BUT, they have now removed the buffet. Food is decent, prices are kinda high for lunch. Bring back the buffet!!
Great food, very tasty. Awesome service.
Outstanding food! My favorite Thai restaurant by far. Extraordinary customer service. Thank you!
Good food!
By far the worst service, the host was very grumpy and the service was terrible. I have to keep asking for plates fork and spoon. The food was very salty. Will not return to this restaurant. Definitely a let down for a thai restaurant
Great food and great conversation
Super disappointed in my curry. I was expecting a nice creamy curry with thin strips of chicken in it. What I got was an extremely oily curry with chunks of chicken in it that appeared to be boiled…the potatoes in my curry were extremely soft and kind of gross texture in my mouth. 😕 my husband wasn’t a fan of his curry either…. Both dishes lacked actual flavor… I tasted salt for sure, there was a little spice but not the depth of flavor I’d expect from curry.
Food and service was great
Amazing. The best Thom Ka, Thom Woonsen and Chicken Pad Thai I’ve ever had and probably WILL ever have.
The bar is so beautiful!!!
After months of being stationed here, we finally came in. This place is legit. I usually don't go for the yellow curry compared to the other ones, but my husband ordered it and it was the best Thai yellow curry we've ever had. The fried rice was on point. Tom Kai is as good as it gets. I was very pleased they had a small cup option so I was able to get it with my fried rice as a side. We are looking forward to coming back soon to trying the other flavors of fried rice & curry that they have :)
Most authentic Thai food we drive 1 n half hours to eat here many times a year for the best food in 2 hour radius. Great chef and server
Ordered from Uber eats. Food was great.
WHY would any restaurant add unasked for bell peppers and onions to a dish that isn't even supposed to include them at all - according to their own description?
When I asked for there to be "no spice" and "no chili peppers", I DID NOT ask for any substitutes - the website says that I can't! And yet, after getting home (a 20 minute drive) I find my drunken noodles pretty much without noodles and unpalatable because I DETEST BELL PEPPERS! I don't care what color they are, they're just NASTY!
Just tried this place for the first time yesterday and will definitely order again. The chicken Thai fried rice and pad thai (no peanuts) were delicious as well as the chicken satay, spring rolls, and tiger cried. My only complaint is the size of the beef in the tiger cried, they were really small for the price and we only received 4 instead of the 6 we were supposed to get. Although very tasty, I would not order again for the price.
I asked for a level 5 spicy and got a 0. Would not recommend.
Great food, loved it. Doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a good place. It's a little bit small but the area doesn't see too much traffic anyway.
It was very tasty and not too sweet. I think this is the best Thai restaurant in the area.
Everything was delicious especially the beef salad. Super fresh and delicious. Even the spring rolls are home-made. It's great to find a place that actually cooks from scratch. Loved it.
We had the Beef Salad, Curry, Spring rolls, satay, and a noodle dish.
Fresh and flavorful
This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant in Maryland. They changed ownership sometime during covid and improved the inside aesthetic. Although the food is still decent, everyone I've talked to recently agrees the recipes aren't as flavorful.
Bangkok Kitchen I'm sorry! I've lived all over the world and enjoyed Thai food in several countries and I've been eating here since 2012. The quality and taste have slipped; not because of COVID, because I noticed a difference in the taste and quality shortly after the new owners took over. Don't get me wrong, your food is good but it's just not at the level it was before. I'll still eat here, but I have to say that may be only because there isn't another Thai food restaurant close by. If there was, you might not have the clientele that you do. This review is not meant to deter anyone from eating there... the food is good, just not great anymore. I still recommend Bangkok kitchen for your dining enjoyment.
FIVE AMAZING STARSSSS.
Literally one of the best Thai places I've been too! I ordered the Cashewnut, Thai fried Rice, Wooson (sorry for the terrible spelling!), and a plate that tasted of basil beef. Literally everything was delicious.
Food came out pretty decently timed, service was amazing, even the freaking water tasted great!
Not from the Baltimore area (I'm from GA) but this place beats anything I've tried so far in the south.
I will say, that if you are worried of people not wearing your masks, I recommend delivery. Main service guy did not wear a mask but again I do not live in Maryland and thus not sure about covid regulations
Visited from Ny. Food was decent. Never had pho that came out pre seasoned already. It could have used a little more flavor but was still decent. Only MAJOR complaint was the fruit flies(or whatever flies) there were while dining in. We weren't able to enjoy our meal because we were constantly swatting the flies. One even decided to land inside my drink. We felt like we were invading the flies territory, there were so many. Maybe thats why we were the only people dining in and everybody else had ordered take out. Hope they take care of that problem that can ruin a business.
Great food, great customer service. They have been in business at least 20 years, so that should speak for itself.
Don't let the humble façade and location fool you. The food is awesome, quick, and cheap. That's all I want in a restaurant. You'll have a great time.
We found hair in the spring rolls. Also, I tried the red curry twice, first time I asked for mild spicy, second time I asked for no spicy. Both times it was super spicy
Their food is beyond excellent but just be careful When you order spicy it can get VERY spicy 😍
Super yummy and the gentlemen working is so sweet
Ordered Crispy Duck from this place, absolutely useless, hardly any duck meat, mostly batter fried and dipped in honey.
I was stopped eating mid way to write this review, that junk it is.
Always good food, even though business has changed hands several times. After Covid, their in-house dining has gone way down hill. There were so many tiny flys flying around, we had to cover our food with napkins. Sorry, BKK, you lost a loyal customer.
First time ordering and I’m blown away! The sweet and sour chicken is ridiculously good! I got the spicy level #1! I WILL be back!
The food was good but unless u know u can handle the heat DONT HAVE ANYTHING SPICY AND UP IM DYING🥵💀
The food is still amazing tho amazing
Humble, simple restaurant. No frills. AMAZING food. Great prices and generous portions.
Pretty darn good Thai ... they get the spice right!
Great choices.... friendly staff.. yummy yummy 😋
I'm very impressed! Disappointed in other Asian cuisine in the area, this place really nailed it. Thanks! Try the duck!
If you don't want to have what I consider spice level 2 normally then order no spice. Delicious and plenty of meat
Great customer service and attention from staff. The Tom Kha Gai and Tom Yom Gung were at first taste seemed lacking, but the flavor grew on you as the meal proceeded. My wife found the papaya salad lacking but the house special duck and curries were very good and full flavored. They were by far the best curries I've had in years. Very friendly staff!
Good food and service. My wife, who is from Thailand and is an amazing cook gave 4.8 stars 🙂. The medium spicy could have been a bit more but I am used to Thai hot. Some Thai music in the dining area would be cool. Nice place.
New to the area I went in search for a new Thai place. This one happens to be right by my neighborhood so we gave it a shot. Coming from my beloved Thai spot back in Norfolk, I had high hopes for this place. I got my usual the Chicken Pad Thai. If you’re looking for spice this is your place however it was lacking in that traditional Thai flavor. Even my husbands dish the Massamun Curry was missing that Thai flavor profile that we all love. As you can see from my photo mine was very dry. The food wasn’t bad by any means just unfortunately lacking in that traditional Thai flavoring. The tea was very good and the spring rolls were ok.
Take in or carry out. The service and food is always amazing. They give you large portions. Very tasty and authentic. Plenty of plastic silverware and plates with to go orders. I will certainly be back. Thank you.
This is a well-established Thai restaurant serving the Ft. Meade, Severn , Hanover, and Odenton area. Prior to COVI, they offered a decent lunch buffet that was quite convenient for workers in the immediate area. They are still offering a sizeable menu of entrees for dining in and take out.
As many reviewers here have commented, the recipes have changed since the restaurant switched owners a while back. A lot of the dishes have become more sweet and less savory and spicy like they used to be. Preparation of the food is still okay, as things like the Duck with Basil are fried hot and crispy. But the flavors are not the same. Overall the quality of cooking seems to have gone down from what it was before. The staff will work with you to try and make your food the way you want it, but that is not always helpful in every case.
Service is friendly and cleanliness are good. We have not had many issues with getting orders wrong. Take-out is packaged well. They will even separate the sauces to keep entrees fresh when applicable.
If you set your expectations that the food may be a bit on the sweet side, this can still be a good experience. It just doesn't match our tastes as well as it used to.
Excellent place to eat. The best we have had yet
Bangkok Kitchen is our go to Thai takeout in Maryland. The Green Curry is perfect and the Pad Woon Sen is delicious. A little word of caution: their spicy can quickly get out of control, so consider ordering less spicy than you would normally.
We had the Pad See Ew and the Kao Pad Kapow- which were both amazing. The dishes come with a lot of meat and are very filling. Some of the best Thai food we’ve had. Strongly recommend.
Really loving the remodel and how bright and fresh it looks inside.
The dishes we got this time (gai Phuket and house special 'catfish') was the best it's ever been.
We ordered 2 curry dishes and pad Thai. The pad Thai and one of the curry dishes had hair in them. They did issue a refund when we called. When I picked up, there were people cooking with their masks around their chins. There are too many other options around for me to come back.
Great amazing Thai food this our regular spot in Odenton, Anne Arundel County the owners are great and the food is love. I reccomend trying their House Special Catfish, Crispy Pork Belly and Kapow.
Worst Thai food I have ever had. The Pad Thai was bland and very dry. The drunken noodles even worst. EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE ! I wanted to give zero stars.
We absolutely love this restaurant. Consistently great value and tasty food.
This is the best little mom and pop kitchen ever! Let me say this you will drive up and think doesn't look appealing!... But the food taste as if there was care and love in creating it! Trust me and i do not give this comment out lightly! I love this little Thai restaurant!
The food here is absolutely delicious. They have the best Pineapple fry rice 🍚!
Very nice staff and great food. It was our first time getting food from them, but definitely won't be the last. We tried a couple dishes I haven't seen at other Thai restaurants. Everything was great, and believe the 2 chili ratings as the items with them are fairly spicy on an American scale. They even gave my wife a birthday sticky rice and mango! Very good food and value with good size potions and very reasonable prices.
Best thai around!!! Hands down.
On a Friday night the wait time is bonkers, order early
Great food
If I could given this place 100 stars, I would. They are kind, organized, and the food is outstanding while being reasonably priced. The building may not look like much, but if you skip it, YOU ARE MISSING OUT. Everything I've had from here is authentic and delicious.
