Strip-mall stop for Vietnamese pho & Korean fusion fare plus beer & wine in simple surroundings.
We don’t frequent this restaurant too often but whenever we are in the area, this is the better spot for the consistent flavor for Pho and dishes. There are a few pho restaurants in the Columbia area.
The pho soup is perfect for this area. There are absolutely better in other towns but this is good enough. The Maryland Fried chicken taste good however it is just a little too dry. It was manageable though. Taste was great.
If you haven’t eaten here, give it a try because it’s good and fast service!
This is exactly what I needed today. A big bowl of pho, which was served in such a generous portion that I had a second meal later. The service was excellent, I was greeted with a welcoming smile and the waitress was extremely attentive and polite. The place itself is clean and offers a nice calm vibe. The food was fresh and delicious.
It was a hot day and I was craving bún (but... i could always eat bún haha). My company said he'd like pho despite the hot day so we found this spot on Google Maps. SO GLAD we decided to stop by cause the food was perfect. Light, fresh, and just the right amount of flavorful. We both loved our food but my company kept stealing bits from mine and I stole from his bowl as well since it is so good!
The restaurant is casual and clean. It had a lot of light coming in through the front windows which was nice. There was one staff member taking orders and serving tables, but there were only a few others in use so we did not wait long.
You can tell this place, though not busy on a Sunday afternoon, is popular amongst its regulars. The staff warmly greeted some aunties and also a cute younger duo that must frequently eat here. It was really sweet to see!
Can't wait to go back next time I visit the area. I am used to city life where there are tons of food options, so this area feels sparse and I savor gems like this with great food <3
I visited An Loi, this past monday, which was my 1st visit here, and then I was back by today (Thursday). This is a testament to how satisfied I was with my visit. This is now my new favorite restaurant for pho and then some. I had their HỦ TIỀU BÒ KHO, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. I love soup, and this one is hardy and really perfect for me, and if you also like a flavor forward meal, then this one may be for you as well.
The service was great, everyone was kind, and welcoming. The atmosphere on the inside feels, warm, cozy and quaint in the best ways. I am defiantly going to bring some family and friends here. And I only found this place because my other favorite pho spot was closed. But at the moment, I may be choosing this place first more often. I am just so happy I got the chance to experience a new cuisine/dish and it blow my mind. If it wasn’t clear, this place is a 10/10 in my opinion.
Been coming here for over two decades since a baby so I'm 100% biased. This place has my perpetual support. Very fast. The broth is a bowful of love. For some reason is my favorite and standard for flavor. Changed owners, but kept recipes and experiences of the old chef which have kept their business alive and well through anything. Pretty inspiring. Helps you out in tough times. Great hospitality and very fresh ingredients. Never a digestive issue. I suggest a welcome rug:) Thai iced tea with pho is unmatched. I recommend Pho Ga or a beef pho if you want it simple. Very delicious and perfect after a long day's work with company or by yourself.
An Loi. Thank you for all your service!
The pork banh mi is some of the best I’ve had in the area. The pho and noodle dishes have been fresh and delicious. The menu has helpful photos for all dishes. The staff are friendly and attentive.
Got the Singapore noodles. Very sad. Mostly noodles. Little toppings. Won't come here again probably.
came to the restaurant at 8:45. It closed at 9:30 was refused dine in service even though other people before me was seated. i’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and my family has. I have never been treated so poorly. very disappointed decided to go to another up-and-coming Pho spot and was treated outstanding!#Peter Changs
I've been ordering pho from this place for ages, but since we were nearby today and it was freezing—like, 28 degrees!—we decided to go for it. There was a huge line, but we got a table pretty quick. There were tons of people eating in, plus a crazy amount of delivery orders; they're always slammed. We got the shrimp summer rolls (no pork), I had the small Tai Chin pho, and my BF got the veggie pho. Nothing beats pho on a cold night—that amazing broth, tons of steak and brisket, and all the yummy chili oil, hoisin, and herbs. I couldn't even finish it all. Would recommend checking out An Loi. I want to try their other soups and noodles, too.

(Min) is very rude… Not professional at all..
If I could give a minus zero I would have done it… I do not recommend anyone to go there...
Min is rude; don’t recommend eating there.
Been coming for 2 years and have never had any issues with anyone until today! “Min” is VERY RUDE.

An Loi. Thank you for all your service!
I have been to An Loi many times and usually always get the spring rolls and pho. Today, I wanted to try something new, so I got their lemongrass chicken and vermicelli noodles bowl, along with the appetizer platter with spring rolls, summer rolls, and the grilled beef. Everything was flavorful and delicious, and I'm glad I tried something new. I also love that dishes come with sauces, pickled veggies, and that condiments are on the table so you can customize the dish. Service is excellent as always!

Delicious!
Fast service, friendly waitresses and large portions of well seasoned foods.
Great food and service. Very large Pho portions. Could spruce up the atmosphere a bit but definitely value for money, and then some!
I love the pho here
Great
The pho is the best I've had! Service is great and the employees are friendly.
I bought pho. The veggies smelled funny as if they are stored in a musty basement. The egg rolls were over fried with some unidentified paste inside. Yuk! I could not eat this food and felt my money was wasted.
Overall I enjoyed the food. The service was not that great. The egg roll was very dry and extra extra crispy and we made the waitress aware. She never attempted to remedy this and charged us for it. The waitress never asked if we wanted a refill and then demanded a tip.
I didn’t receive good service and was told to leave a tip. I will never go back to this restaurant again.
Great people and Yummy food.
Takeout experience: I wish they served their noodles in a bowl like other restaurants because if you are ordering and eating somewhere other than home, it's really hard to eat without a bowl and just the cylindrical soup container. Otherwise, the broth was sooo good. Service was fast. The chicken and noodles were what you'd find at an average pho restaurant.
Literally, my favorite place to go to get Asian cuisine. I am at the point where when I walk in they know my name and they greet me with big smiles! Their lemon chicken is to die for, I almost thought it was pork because of what it was basted with. However, it certainly is chicken! The fried rice is flavorful, not oily at all and the cabbage is soaked or pickled in something that is delicious
Amazing curry noodle soup. H8 all the way
This is Chinese food but still Vietnamese dezign and cook like chinese food, they tried cook like vietnam but so Different. I just wonder why they keep stealing copyright of Vietnamese people,
Love this place. Been going here since I was like 9 after every haircut nextdoor.
味道很好奇,价格很实惠。
我点的H5 HU Tiue Bo Khh, 就是红烧牛肉汤底的河粉,牛腩和牛筋很多,量大实惠
Always nice, great service, easy to understand menu and food prepared as if the chef was going to eat it hinself... very nice local business and one I hope many support.
Food came out quickly than I expected and the food was great. Their Phở An Loi, Bún Bò Huế, and Bo Lá Nho were very tasty
The Pho is the best thing on menu IMO
Ordered pho and summer roll, both were pretty good. Massive amount of meats in the pho, the broth was a little salty (personnel preference). Quick and direct service. Would recommend.
There's lunch specials are excellent

Very good food
Best Vietnamese in Columbia.....imo. not a beautiful place but great food, and good service always!
Knowing very little about Vietnamese cuisine the staff was very helpful in helping me identify food that would fit my dietary restrictions. The portions size are generous and the service is quick and friendly. Also it’s the only Vietnamese restaurant nearby that serves lemongrass tofu which is my favorite. Overall great place for Vietnamese cuisine.
Exactly what I expected and very tasty!
I order from there all the time and it is the pho in town.
It was a hot day and I was craving bún (but... i could always eat bún haha). My company said he'd like pho despite the hot day so we found this spot on Google Maps. Best food in Columbia. Fresh, amazing, and so much of it for what you pay. Definitely recommend a try!
Curry chicken with noodles is the best! When I moved back to the area from Houston this is the first place I came. You should come here too.
I visited An Loi, this past monday, which was my 1st visit here, and then I was back by today (Thursday). This is a testament to how satisfied I was with my visit. The spring rolls did not look like the image on the menu and were over-fried. They tasted only like oil, so I couldn't enjoy then at all. Pho was fine, but fine is really the best they had. The broth was the issue, as it didn't have quite thenright flavor. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back to this place.
They served lots meat in a bowl!
It was so yummy!!!
The fried noodle was so crunch and the soupy noodle was soft and flavorable!!!
We enjoyed the food!!!
Yummy Pho. I love their tofu and appetizers.
The food was to salty, very disappointing with this place…I don’t recommend it
A hole in the wall and total hidden gem. Get the Bun Bo Hue, you won't regret it
This is our favorite Vietnamese restaurant for over 20 years. I know this because we announced my wife was having twins here. They are now 21 years old.
Most dishes, if not all, taste very good. A new restaurant call Phodena recently opened closeby but we will continue to come here. Even though we live in Severna Park, we still take the 30 min drive up here.
We witnessed staff changes over the many years. All have them been very good. One of them has been there for a long time as a water dispenser. This could be due to a language barrier. But I'm happy to see her as a waitress now.
As a pho afficiando, I found the eye of round to be sliced too thick and the broth to be just OK. The summer rolls were full of unexpected grey meat. I sat towards the back, facing the back, and random lights kept blinking, turning on and off without reason.
Every time I'm in Columbia, I must stop in AN Loi. Vegetable pho is my favorite, and I love summer rolls. I can't recommend An Loi enough! I normally do take out, but it's very inviting inside.
Total hidden gem of Columbia. Can't miss!
Authentic Vietnamese food.
Excellent food & Service 4th time eating here.
Good deal friendly staff
I love this place! You will too! Everything is good! Good prices too! Highly recommend!
Did online order. Food was quick, good and staff was helpful. Didn't use facilities but it seemed more of a takeout place than somewhere I'd want to dine in to
We used eat regularly here for years. Today they charged us 18% service charge for our family of five.
An Loi, you just lost us as a customer.
🤷🏾♀️ TL;DR: The food is just ok. Seems like it might be a decent eat at the restaurant, but the flavors leave much to be desired.
🪷 Backstory: Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines on Earth. I've eaten a lot of dishes over the years, in Philly, where my high school friends first introduced me to pho, to New York City, Reading, PA, and now Maryland. I've been blessed to dine in the homes of people who immigrated from Saigon to the US in the 80s, and I will cherish those memories forever. Those flavors are imprinted in my mind. That said, I am serious about Vietnamese food and am very familiar with a lot of dishes that rarely see a restaurant menu. Pho and Bun Bo Hue are among my favorites.
👍🏾 Delivery: Tonight my usual pho place wasn't available for delivery, so I gave An Loi a try. I ordered the An Loi Pho with all the fixings (tripe included), and a side of the Spring rolls on DoorDash. An Loi confirmed my order immediately, and my order arrived without incident. Everything was well packaged and lovingly labeled for each diner (my partner and I). Sadly, I didn't really care for any of my dishes.
👎🏾 Pho: The noodles were packaged at the bottom of one of those paper Chinese food containers with the meats piled on top, and were overcooked well before I added them to my broth. The broth was more salty than it was beefy, and did not taste like traditional broth, which takes hours of boiling beef bones with distinct aromatics. The bean sprouts and basil provided were crisp and fresh. I added my own Sriracha since the tiny sauce container was mostly hoisin sauce.
👍🏾 Spring Rolls: As for the spring rolls, they were pretty good. They weren't super crispy, but that's a tall order for delivery. The fish sauce dip tasted pretty good, and like what I would expect.
🙏🏾 The meal wasn't inedible, but it didn't scratch that itch for me. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to get my meal to me.
I regularly get the dinner special for takeout and it always hits the spot. It's a good amount of food and the quality is nice for what you pay for. It is also ready incredibly fast. I couldn't recommend this place more.
The best pho in the area. Very quick and friendly service.
3.5 for taste and value. The pho is affordable and an ok value. I'll try other menu items to see what they're really like.
Great food. My favorite vietnamese restaurant; it never disappoints.
Food was excellent! And everyone there was very friendly.
There's nothing more to say! It's An Loi! Best Pho in Columbia! Get you some! 🍲. Always consistent, flavorful and orders are on time. They have a very very good system in place. Compliments to the chef!
First off - this is not Vietnamese food. I think it might be non-viet owned because the food did not have any Vietnamese flavor at all. The pho broth was basically meat water with maybe some pho bo bouillon. No spices and barely any pho flavor. I find it so strange that they have such a wide variety of Viet dishes but deliver on none of them? The service was good and the atmosphere was fine. If you’re looking for authenticity however, thisain’t it.
I'm in town for work, and I saw this place close to my hotel. I was skeptical, but the reviews convinced me, and I'm so glad they did. I've mostly been eating junk food on this trip, and it was nice to have something soothing like pho. I had the #9 pho An Loi, and it was really good. Fresh ingredients, a heaping plate of bamboo shoots, sliced peppers, and basil. Plenty of meat, even in the small bowl. It really hit the spot. The ladies who waited on me were very sweet, too. I'll be back, and I definitely recommend this place.
Everything was just wonderful it does Not matter if it's full or their rice dishes everything is always wonderful
Great food, very nice people and service.
Very clean place
Did they change owner? Ordered pad Thai no fish cakes inside. They used to put fish cake which is what I love. The taste is not as good as before.
Always floored by the level of service here. I've come so much over the past decade everyone recognizes my voice on the phone when I call in orders. Top tier all the way
Very pleasant experience. The wait staff are extremely attentive, the food was fresh and tasty, and healthy. Atmosphere was nice, too. There were a lot of take out orders - so that may be what I try next time 😀
Been coming here for well over a decade. Best Vietnamese food in the area, and really good service.
It is amazing. The service is fast. The food tastes great and the atmosphere is just calm and peaceful.
Amazing service and amazing food
Very delicious food. Close to the hotel.
I’ve been here more than 20 times. I absolutely love it. It is delicious and fresh every single time. I always get the veggie pho, with veggie broth and tofu. I decided to leave a review because I was sick this week and I ate at An Loi 3 times in one week, which says something because usually I can barely eat anything when I’m sick. Hope my review helps someone.
Prompt and welcoming service, combined with wonderfully delicious food, and many options. What is not to love?
Flavorful broth, fresh ingredients, affordable, friendly fast service!
Excellent food. Great service. Great takeout.
Disfrutamos comer en éste lugar, el personal siempre es amable, tienen un menú ilustrado así que si no sabes mucho sobre comida vietnamita esto te ayudará a elegir. El plato que más recomiendo es el beef grilled.
Friendly
Delicious budget Vietnamese cuisine served by very pleasant staff. Try the papaya salad.
Maybe it was the day I went, but the quality was not as good as I remembered.
Awesome food and friendly staff. Try the "Bun" vermicelli!
Good food, not my favorite when it comes to pho
Great first time here, definitely recommend it
Update: Second visit
I tried pho this time and it was not good enough for me. The pho aroma was lacking and the broth was a little more salty than savory. I would not get pho again from this place next time I visit. I’d rather stick with the other dishes. I think the place is Chinese owned.

First visit
Delicious crispy noodles. I wish it had some shiitake mushrooms and a bit more gravy sauce. I’ll be back sometime to try another dish.
Chicken fried rice was absolutely delicious!
Love the food here. Always on point!
Probably the best Vietnamese food around. They have a great veriaty of options. So far I haven't been disappointed. Highly recommend!
PHO was delicious, one of the best papaya salads I've ever had. Service was excellent. I definitely recommend 👌
Amazing price and great food! Don’t listen to the reviews about bad service. Not true. Try the quail for sure! And pho was great
This is an excellent restaurant my family has eaten here for years we only stopped for the pandemic. We stopped by last weekend and were happy to see them open. the food has always been excellent and everyone is very friendly and helpful would. I recommend stopping by for the excellent food and I would recommend the pork chops they are my favorite but every thing I try is very good.
One of the good Phos in HC, IMO.
Muy buena comida y con buena atención al cliente 👌
This is our go-to place for Pho and a family meal because there's something for everyone. The P7 has been a favorite for a decade now. Casual dining with wonderful service and food. Yum!
I have been going here for several years now, and it’s always been good. Highly recommend.
Large pho will yield 6 cups worth (moving and couldn't find a bowl). Best pho I have ever had. They don't skimp on the meat either. I don't care for spring rolls, but these were good too! Staff was friendly for takeout.
A bit disappointed with the bun bo hue. I’m not Vietnamese, so I can’t claim expertise with their food traditions, but from my experience eating this in California, many things were missing.
Starting with the side vegetables, there were only bean sprouts, instead of cabbage and banana blossoms, which give it a great texture. There’s also usually has a rich selection of meat cuts, from oxtail, pork feet, meatballs, blood cubes, etc. This only had beef brisket, which made it seem like standard beef pho with BBH broth.
The broth was very good however - you could taste the lemongrass and shrimp / fish paste. So it was still tasty, and I enjoyed it. But I was deeply missing all the ingredients that make this soup special.
Very friendly Staff
The best Vietnamese food in the town . I love their grill platter. Great service! Highly recommend
I order Singapore noodles there was no taste and very dry
Alright to start things off, the food isn’t bad. Looking at other reviews, they say the pho is not real pho but its still good. I like the food here and always have a great time. But coming here yesterday, I noticed they added 8 motion censored cameras. The lights on the cameras were really bothering and constantly turning on when the server passed by. When going to the restrooms, you can feel that they cranked the thermostat as it was like a desert passing their counter, it felt like it was somewhat around 80 Fahrenheit. Also the restroom floors were covered in something slippery and so I almost slipped which was not a fun experience. Overall 3.5.
I ordered a delivery from here.
P4 Tai Chin Pho: The broth was light in color and flavor though not bad. Decent amount of meat for my small order. Basil was a little wilted when it got to me but still good. The sauce they supplied seemed like a mix of hoisin and something spicy. Not over baring and helped the soup.
Summer rolls: They weren't too bad though the meat was a little dry. Would have liked more peanut flavoring in the sauce.
Pickled cabbage: It was more sweet than anything else. Lack of vinigar or any real seasoning.
The lemonade wasn't bad. I personally would have liked it a little sweeter, but that is a taste preference.
If you want the real Pho soup, this is not the place. Noodle+meat+water+MSG.
Clean and fresh veggies, but I went there for the soup. Tastes and looks too clear.
I was extremely thirsty for hours after eating Pho here. Waste of money.
Good authentic Pho
We went here because we were in the area and a buddy said he ate here years ago. Small and cozy restaurant. Kid friendly. The beef soup wasn't too great. But the pho was decent. They did not have the TRI color desert at the time so that was a disappointment. And the price was about higher then expected but still good.
Best pho in Maryland and great customer service
The best pho and spring rolls we have had in the area. It's our favorite go to spot for Pho! And we are happy they have Edamame on the menu now! The staff is the absolute best!
Order takeout. I have one more choice I think
