We're a Thai and Vietnamese cuisine restaurant!
I purchased 2 spicy dumplings soup yesterday. The portions was disrespectful as if you were literally feeding a 2 y/o. The portions was a complete rip off! I can't believe y'all are serving grown adults these sizes! Never again!
Ordered seafood bowl I received 3 small shrimps and 3 baby octopuse pieces with noodles and bean sprouts and broth. No sauces that are the seasoning that you pour into the broth for flavor.. I returned to Thai Yum located at "The Spot" located in Camp Springs MDn 20746. I ask where are the acompaning sauce and lemon and lime. I was told I had to PAY extra for the sauce that was supposed to come with the dish.
Will NEVER GO AGAIN! GO AT YOUR OWN RISK ! I PAID 19. 95 for bean sprouts, noodles, 3 octopus and shrimp.
Ordered their pho on uber eats. Food was not packaged and was exposed, meaning anything could have happened to it in transit. Also, for food of over $50, pho came with no broth! Struggling to get my money back.
We ordered via Uber Eats and food was done faster than estimated. The food was excellent, they accommodated my special request which was appreciated. The pad thai was really good, they use a more traditional tamarind sauce vs some places that go the cheap route (aka a very basic peanut sauce w/ sugar). If you’re wondering about the prices, don’t worry. You actually get large portions - at least 1.5x what you get elsewhere since Thai Yum uses a different type of packaging (deep bowl vs clamshell) - so it’s a really good value and you definitely will have leftovers.
That smoky flavor has my heart. Friends and I come here multiple times a week and it’s high quality, fast, with big portions/dollar every time. Fire. I see your effort.
One of my go to Thai places. Their service is consistently pleasant and efficient. I find that I never have to wait long to receive my order, and they have never disappointed. I find that many restaurants in The Spot often sacrifice quality in food for fast service, but I did not find that to be true with Thai Yum. This is one of my favorite places to go to for dumplings! Special shoutout to Marlon for the stellar service.
I ordered from Uber eats and the entire trip plus the trip back to my stay took abt 30-40 min. My first impression of them is how considerate they are. I initially ordered coconut pudding but it wasn’t ready so they swapped it for a mango sticky rice and still gave me the coconut pudding tho I will have to refrigerate it! I do ordered the drunken noodle and it’s a large meal and it tastes so good!
The service was quick, friendly and precise. The location is inside a food hall. There are plenty other food locations around just in case you want to grab other things. However, why would you want to? The Singapore noodles are delicious. I highly recommend.
My goodness, my drunken noodles were seasoned to perfection. I almost cried guys! God bless the chef!

Thai Yum is part of a trendy shared food court with about 5 other food vendors.
I ordered Drunken noodles and sticky rice on Uber Eats. The Drunken noodles were salty and had too much soy sauce. The sticky rice was terrible. The rice was old and hard - I couldn’t even eat it. Waste of money.
I waited patiently for someone to come from the back to be served. It was me and one other gentleman that was waiting even longer than me. Through the door I could see a man that saw me through the little window because we locked eyes. The fact he could have notified the other guy to at least come out to say something he just looked and kept doing what he was doing. First time there and most likely won’t come back! Waited 15 min… smh

Great new addition to the community. Crispy thai scallion pancakes, vegetable/tofu pad Thai, Singapore noodles w/chicken and Thai yum noodles with chicken. All dishes were delicious and plentiful. Looking forward to trying more dishes. Highly recommend 👌 👍🏽.

Front guy Marlin is really nice and always knows what I want 👍🏾. Pineapple rice is really good
Just no. We've ordered here several times including our friends and we can say that service is consistently bad. I don't mean they're rude, they just take between 45 mins - over an hour to make food especially during busier times.
60% of their menu is subpar in quality and taste. Don't order their curry beef and potatoes with carrots, it's drier than deer meat/venison, I don't know how. However, their drunken noodles are good.
I ordered a vegan Singapore noodle, no egg, no meat, no tofu. I got all the way home in WALDORF and my food had eggs in it. I’m pissed off and when I come back tomorrow I would like a replacement!
I got served last Sunday and ordered the Sweet Beef (excellent customer service btw, thank you for the buzzer and letting me get my food while checking another customer out) and the food was delicious at first. I ended up getting food poisoning and had to go to the hospital on Wednesday. The hospital relayed that it was food poisoning. Still to this day (3/3/24) I cannot eat regular food. Still on a bland diet. I hope the next time I try it, it is an better overall experience :(
I AM WILLING TO TRY AGAIN
The Thai yum fried ramen is one of a kind. Super good
The food was horrible and old. I returned my food and my refund should’ve been $17.44. I got a partial refund of $16.95. The young lady at counter was upset due me asking for a refund because the rice was dry and hard, and the food appears to be overcooked because it was old food the onions was mushed it look like someone soak the rice in of curry sauce and what I ordered was the pineapple fried rice with chicken. The food was supposed to have peanuts they put cashews. I would give it zero But I’m forced to give it at least one
The papaya salad was terrible. My basil rice was mediocre.
First time here. Arrived at around 8:30pm. Placed my order. Was given a buzzer.. didn't need it. Young lady brought my food to me while I sat at a nearby table. Food was delicious. I ordered the Thai mushroom chicken with rice. Atmosphere is fine for a Friday. The music is a tad Loud. I couldn't hear the server as they took my order. Also with kids in here they should consider censored music 🎶 for the food court. That was the only thing I think needed a fine tuning.
The drunken noodles were great.
Only had the chicken(questionable)phó & never have I ever had red onions, semi soft noodles room temperature broth in phó & never will I have it again from this place & @ $15, nope! I swear unwanted to throw the whole bowl in the trash after two bites, i forced myself to eat the noodles just so I wouldn't waste my money, straight trash in my opinion.
Their fresh rolls were delicious, but that's where the good food ended.
That Pad Thai was the worst I've had for a long time. It's missing the savory-sweetness that Pad Thai typically has. It was a one sided flavor of saltiness and somehow had the nerve to be slightly dry. I tried eating here twice, figuring the first time must have been an accident or a new cook, but it seems to be consistently bad. If a Thai place doesnt have a solid pad thai, I don't come back.
The staff were attentive and patient, very friendly overall and quick with service. The food court style dining experience wasn't bad either. Their location is fantastic, because I'm always taking the train into town, but if they cant make good food, then what's the point?
Good food just as I expected
i always enjoy the calamari here!! and jayce is always so sweet and kind. great food great service ^___^
I eat Thai food on a regular basis and this was the worst tasting Singapore Fried Noodles with shrimp, chicken and beef I've ever had! I was so disappointed ☹️
Food was fresh, and the service is great. Good portions
The food was amazing! I had the drunken noodles with chicken and my husband had Tom Yum Soup w/ noodles. The service was pleasant.
Best Green curry very nice.
Awesome Customer service and Great Food 💪💯
Good food, nice service.
The Thai Yum Fried Ramen is very good. It is their specialty and I see why. The Drunken Noodles are pretty good but the Thai Yum Ramen is excellent. I look forward to trying more items on their menu. The Thai Yum Fried Ramen can definitely stand alone with Thai dishes from a stand a lone "fancy restaurant".
Holy God this food was terrible!!! Management please contact me I want a refund.
The whole experience was a letdown. It was like a horror movie for my taste buds. I've had more pleasure eating a microwave meal while sitting in my pajamas. I'm not one to complain, but this was a gastronomic nightmare I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I'd really appreciate a refund for this disaster of a meal.
Food was absolutely gross
Terrible pad Thai - dry, gummy noodles, sauce lacks complexity that authentic Pad Thai usually has…and the chicken is even more bland. I’m 9 months pregnant and had to whip up some sauce to add to this sad Pad Thai, which defeated the purpose of me ordering out. The Tom Yum Noodle soup has okay flavor but contains coconut milk, which makes it a Tom Kha so…yeah. Never again.
This place is absolutely delicious!!! My fav is the Basil Chicken and Rice and the Pad Thai! Only complaint I had is every time I went I was waiting 10mins for someone to come out to take my order because they were all in the back talking.
Best Thai I have had in a very long time. The Drunken Noodle did not disappoint. Can’t wait to come back and try the Thai Yum Fried Ramen!!
Update!!! Came back for the Thai Yum fried ramen and it was absolutely delicious. This place has a loyal customer in me!
I, like many others was very excited at variety being added to the area. As someone who works in Arlington, I frequent a lot of different places for lunch and breakfast. My favorite for lunch is a local Thai spot that is just delicious. So I was happy to try one close to home.
So in placing this order I wanted to try a range of options. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai with Shrimp added. My Pad Thai did not have shrimp, there also weren’t any eggs, the peanuts weren’t crushed, and frankly it wasn’t any sauce, it was extremely bland. I had to whip a sauce at home to add to it just to eat it. But again, missing the shrimp I paid extra for, and included on 3-5 pieces of meat (unsure what kind of chicken was used)
We also ordered the Thai basil fried rice. Absolutely delicious and flavorful , but still had that weird chicken again …and again, barely any included. We’re talking 5 or so tiny pieces.
Also 2 orders of Chicken Dumplings. These were okay. But kind of cold.
I love their packaging, it makes it perfect for ordering multiple things and setting out family style. The portions are fantastic for the overall volume but the meat is non existent frankly. Also, My order was technically inaccurate.
It was odd having such a flavorful rice and bland pad Thai. Hopefully they can find a way to bring balance to all their dishes. I know they’re still new, so I look forward to trying them again down the line but for now, I’ll keep going over the bridge for good Thai food.
Our meal was delicious. Singapore curry chicken and his was drunken chicken noodles. We both agreed we'd come here again. You have to go inside to find it.
This restaurant really needs to improve their quality. My yellow curry was the most watered down and flavorless curry I’ve ever had. I mean I don’t just mean this was sub par it was terrible - tastes like someone’s first time making curry.
I’m disappointed that i paid for it. It honestly tastes like they ran out of curry and added a few cups of water to whatever was remaining. I won’t be back to this place.
Just so happened that I saw this place while they were still trying to get everything together for their soft opening. I didn't think they would serve me but instead they bent over backwards to get the food to us as fast as possible and I was pleasantly surprised of how good it was. The food here tastes clean, healthy, and thai. This is definitely a place to come to when you want a quick meal, or to stock up on work lunch for the next day like I do lol.
