I love this place. Food is always fresh and service is excellent. I love the green papaya salad, and recently had the mango and shrimp salad which is delicious too. The spicy lime vinaigrette in both salads is so delicious. A perfect balance of tang, spicy and a little sweet. I also love the vegetarian Tom Kah noodle soup which is not on the menu, but you can request it. Obsessed with this soup. Of course don't forget the the delicious mango sticky rice for dessert. I love this place and wish they delivered.

Wonderful spot for authentic Thai food! I really enjoy my cashew nut chicken and the spice was perfect! Only thing they need to add is a sampler platter so you can try more appetizers. Highly recommended and would return!

The booths are kind of tight but the food was great and the portions were large enough for us to take some home. I don't really like spicy food so the Pad Thai was not spicy but the Tamarind sauce for the Grilled Thai BBQ Beef had a kick to it, but was good.

This ice tea is elite. But ask for less sugar.

The fried duck was 5 star. The dumplings were a solid 4.5. A little salty but went well with the sweet Thai tea.

Also, Raymond has been with the restaurant for 8 years. Super helpful and attentive.

Last but not least, while there is no diaper.changing station in the Men's bathroom, the bathroom was overall spotless and smelt really nice.

THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES!!! I went in, got an order to go, paid with card, and signed the receipt. Now, 3 days later, I found out from my bank that Thai Spice has changed my transaction amount to pay themselves A TIP THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE!!!! THIS IS FRAUD!!!! 😡

Worst fried rice for 20$. Then to top it off 2 large sliced tomatoes cover the bottom of the tray lol. If you want tasty fried rice I suggest going to thai rainbow in middle river. Portion sizes are great value for the $$

Food is delicious and staff were friendly. Booth table and seats were also comfortable. Food didn't take very long and came out hot and fresh.

Very good food. Well worth the visit. It was my first time there and I was very happy with it all.

Ordered take out. Haven't been there in a while but the pad thai was mediocre at best. Asked for chili oil and they said they no longer have that? Gave a seasoning packet... dry chicken, dry noodles. And they were rude. Will be sticking with Lemon and Ginger for pad Thai.

I love the food but lately there has been almost no chicken in the chicken pad Thai. Over time it gets less and less. If cost is an issue I would pay a few bucks more for chicken in my chicken pad Thai

I've tried to eat here a few times and no one ever answers the phone so I end up going somewhere else. I love Thai food so it's a shame that no one ever picks up to take an order.

We had a great time. Nudee recommended the boba tea and mango sticky rice and it all tasted really good.

Amazing sushi!! Super expensive, but I suppose you get what you pay for. The egg rolls were nice and crispy, and the miso soup tasted great. I definitely plan to come back!

This is literally the ONLY Thai place in town. I moved here a year ago from Rockville and New York that has a plethora of Thai places. So I’ve been spoiled. I have tried this pace several times and it just misses the mark. The food is rather bland to be honest and is not fixing my Thai craving. I rather just go visit family in Rockville and stock up lol

Visited for the first time during prime dinner hours on a Fri. The restaurant was busy but not packed; no wait to be seated. Friendly waitstaff, order taken almost immediately. App came quickly however, wait for entrées was @45min with no updates.

Let me say, the food was definitely worth the wait. Excellent! Spice was off (we ordered a 4 out of 5 but our 2 out of 3 was spicier) however it was workable. Will definitely return with the understanding that there may be a wait for food. Definitely a must try!

Got the pork massaman curry. They didn't give an option on spiciness, so it came kind of plain. Still a good ensemble of flavors and textures

We've done carry out twice in a week (it's near the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center) and food was really great both times. Prices were reasonable - not cheap but also not stupid expensive either. Getting through on the phone is a bit of a challenge as it appears they have one person to answer the phone and serve customers who are dining in. Ambiance/decor is a little on the low side so probably won't ever sit down but all the dishes we've had were tasty, spiced as we requested, and portion size was pretty good.

Just left from a late lunch. Bad service, ok food.

I ordered 3 items. 2 out of the 3 items came out. No complaints as there were served. I assumed they were taking their time with the food.

Turns out my order wasn't put it or it was on the receipt but i waant served. No apology for the mishap.

When I got the food I was disappointed. The flavor was mediocre, underwhelming.

Our experience at Thai Spice was Amazing. We notified our waitress right away about my wife's food allergies. The waitress informed the manager of her allergies and he personally came over to discuss her options. They were more than willing to accommodate her. She had the summer rolls and the Massaman Curry. I had the spring rolls , grilled BBQ beef (the spicy tamarind sauce was awesome) and the Shrimp Lava. The food was amazing. The wait staff was amazing. We will definitely be returning.

Thai Spice is our go to restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service very kind.

We have been here several times. The food is good but the service is lacking. The waitstaff needs to learn how to attend a table. Your drink should not remain empty for half the time you spend in the restaurant. You need to come back to your table once in a while without your guest having to do jumping jacks to call your attention. The staff is friendly; however, that’s a management problem. They have not been trained properly to improve the dining experience of the guest.

Good food, but left me wanting a bit more. The service felt a bit lacking even though it was a not so busy afternoon. Tom kha soup was great and so was the eggplant stir fry and drunken noodles. Definitely worth trying and coming back to.

Excellent food. Having a wife and mother in law who are thai, I would proudly bring them here.

The staff, though short-staffed during our visit, was still fast and attentive, and very kind. The food, from appetizers to dessert, was all well prepared and delicious. Even with the spicy food, the flavours were well balanced, with nothing coming off as too overpowering.

Favorite place to eat as a VEGAN!

I order the Thai Style fried rice with no egg, no meat and I add Tofu.
I get the spring or summer rolls and crispy tofu as an appetizer.
You can pretty much get any dish without egg or meat and just add tofu.
Very delicious. It's literally my favorite place to eat and I've eaten all over the world!

There are bathrooms and the staff is always amazing and so nice when I come in!

I enjoyed dining here! The waiter for very kind, prompt, had great suggestions! I had the pad Thai and it was good! Pricing is reasonable, it was 2 of us. There is plenty of parking as there is a parking lot with other Stores. The booth chairs are old and a bit springy. However they are remodeling and I'm sure the chairs are on the list! The remodeling didn't interrupt the experience. !!

We come at least once a month and have done so for over two years. The staff are always welcoming and it’s our fav Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and Lad Na around. We’ve been to other Thai or Asian fusion places and they just do not compare to Thai Spice.

I have not been disappointed with the food over the years the volcano fried rice is amazing and the red curry is to die for.

I ordered the chicken pad thai with a spice level of 1. The dish was extremely dry and would have been so much better if there was more sauce on it. Very very dry noodles. If you cannot handle spice you may want to avoid Thai cuisine all together because even on the lowest spice level, it was still spicy.

I absolutely love this place! They have the best drunken noodles, Tom Yum Chicken Soup and Thai Tea. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Always a good time at Thai Spice in Bel Air.

The food is always great, but unfortunately service is always slow, even just waiting for drink refills in an otherwise empty dining room. Suggest visiting when you're not too hungry or in a rush.

We stopped coming back to this place, mainly due to worse service about 2 years. We decided to give them try recently for last 3-4 times we ordered takeout. They have improved their services at the front desk. The food has been good always so no changes in that.

I order from here on a regular basis and always loved the food. Last night my entree was skimpy..like half full...my Thai fried rice was dry and no flavor where as before its always been awesome.

This was my first time visiting this Thai restaurant. Most Southeast Asian food I've visited are located in DC.
The hotess took my order was knowledgeable and pleasant. I paid cash and waited for my carry out meal. After checking my food prior to leaving I noticed they gave me very little rice. So, I order another tiny container of rice.

The issue was the non-hotess who may have been the owner or manager question if I paid for my food yet a receipt was stapled to my bag (order).

He made me feel as though I didn't pay $33.28 for my meal. I do not like to be accused (indirectly) and I find it extremely unprofessional. Not sure why he felt this way. But I Will Not Return. Will stick with classier...experiences in DC.

Definitely my favourite​ Thai eatery so far. Staff is friendly (though sometimes a bit slow), food is incredible and usually fast to come out. It's been fairly empty in there every time I've visited, but hopefully they're doing well. They're the best eatery to occupy this storefront yet.

We ordered 4 dishes and even though the flavor is decent (not great) the portions are criminally tiny especially for vegetarian meals with just vegetable costing $16 a dish. Vegetables are extremely limited as well. The rice served is also insanely small. Traveling most of the united sates and ALL of the Indian restaurants we have supported we have NEVER payed as much for SO little. PATHETIC!

Attempted to eat in but after waiting too long for someone to come take my order I left. Staff seemed uninterested in taking orders and only had 1 table seated. Could have been an off day for them, I might try another time

Thai spice has come a long way. Their pho is flavorful and the apps are delicious. I would suggest the dumplings and the summer rolls as well as the spring rolls. If you haven't been there before, stop in and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Cost of food does not balance out with the amount. Food is tasty and the service is good. Been here twice and spent way too much for the portions I got. Won't be back. 😞

Incredible Thai Food. Went here during lunch and I've been bragging to my friends that I had the best curry here! (Praram Kung Kai). Super tasty food, the menu is fantastic. They have a lot of options and our waitress was very knowledgeable with each dish. I love their hand painted wall, very creative. I highly recommend this restaurant, possibly the best Thai in town.

The food there is absolutely delicious and the gentleman that severed us was both very friendly and professional.

I was thrilled to find a local place that served delicious pho I could order for carryout. On a recent dine-in experience, the food and service was just as wonderful! The dark decor and uncomfortable booths could use an update but I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend the pho and the mushroom dumplings appetizer!😊
