Wasn’t sure if I should give this place 3 stars or 4. I’m Asian so I’ve had a lot of different types of Asian food over the years. I ordered the pad si ew and it had a different flavor to it than what I’m used to. It wasn’t bad, just different. My order arrived really fast yet somehow the noodles were a little over cooked. There were also lots of egg shells in my food but I still ate it all. It’s not the best Thai food I’ve ever had but I’m still thankful I was able to have Thai food delivered so late. I am fed and that’s what matters most.

The gentleman on the phone was so very pleasant. Very easy to order and catered to my allergies as well. The food itslef honestly was...okay. I've eaten thai food from dozens of restaurants and this was the first one where the food was a little disappointing. The potatoes in the mango curry weren't cooked and crunchy along with the mango not being ripe at all. The tofu fresh rolls tasted like none of the vegetables were washed and therefore very bitter. The drunken noodles tasted pretty good, nothing bad. Overall customer service was nice and the staff was pleasant but the food is not for me.

I had the tofu pad Thai and a wonton soup, both were incredible. By far the best pad Thai I’ve had in Maine. Also the food was delivered still hot and the woman who took my order on the phone was extremely sweet. Also the delivery was fast. Super super pleased

I felt bad because I called to place my order 15 minutes before the restaurant closed. The women was extremely nice and made amazing food as well as amazing boba from scratch! I will definitely be returning!

Great place to get some great authentic Thai food

We had lost power so ordered out. We Got the chicken pad Thai and dumplings. It was hot delicious and delivered with a friendly smile.

It was okay. Veggie soup must've had a chicken base because there were small chunks of chicken in it. I dislike when restaurants don't disclose the use of animal products in something otherwise labeled as a vegetable dish. Aside from that, it was a bit plain. The summer/fresh rolls were nice, but home made ones are just as good if not better. Fried tofu and peanut sauce were yummy. Probably won't go again due to limited options and no dine-in.

I have been on the look out for good Thai food since I moved to Bangor and I finally found it!! I had the best pad Thai I’ve ever had and my boyfriend had the green curry and didn’t take a bite without saying “mmm” the entire time! They were so kind and quick too. Definitely a new favorite spot!! Everyone should check this place out.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, the only taste that really came through was the spiciness and not much else. The Thai tea was also too watery and way too sweet.

Excellent, just the right spicy and as good as it gets. Surprised to find it fairly rural Maine, but is next to the University! That likely keeps them busy.

Great food, sizable portions nice folks

Cheaper AND notably more delicious than Thai Orchid! They gave me a 35 minute wait time and showed up in under 20, with no delivery fee, and we all agreed the Drunken Noodles outperformed Thai Orchid’s in flavor, variety of vegetables, and tofu quality. Friendly to boot :)

Got the Pad Thai tonight and the chicken was so dry and stringy I couldn’t even eat it. Tasted ok but I have definitely had better for $13.

Decent Thai food and quick. Their Rangoon's have a bit of a curry taste to them, not what I was used to but the spring rolls and dipping sauce are delicious!

I was a little sad after having been called and told they didn’t have one of the things we ordered, but that’s fine that doesn’t affect anything so I asked for a replacement because I already paid, and ordered a new item of equal price
When we got our food not only were things on the bottom utterly squished but replacement item we ordered wasn’t even in there, and I already paid for everything! So now I’m not even getting all the food I ordered and spent close to 100 dollars

This little site is a wonderful find. My work colleague has heard of it so we went for lunch on the way to the airport. It was excellent. I had the fresh spring roll and the masseman curry. The curry was thinner than I usually get but I liked it better than most. It was well spiced and great flavor.
Had a couple Thai iced teas as well which were solid. Only one table so I guess they mostly have to go or delivery. But however you do it, give them a try.

We love this spot for take out. We've been many times and love everything we've tried. The portions are generous and the staff are so friendly. Their Thai Iced tea is our favorite addition to any meal <3

Best thai food around town! What makes them better than the rest is their delivery service. In the winter time it's awesome and their prices aren't crazy either. Not for the delicious food you get. I recommend green curry and orange chicken.

Quite literally the best restaurant in Orono!

They mainly just do deliveries, but their service is always extremely speedy and the food is always fresh/super tasty. What you might not know is that you can also dine in (they only
have 1 table/4 chairs though), and the restaurant interior is very nice! Especially their plants (such as the Hylocereus) which were in great condition!

Free and fast local delivery with affordable food. Calling is easy and they have Square for cards. It's the cheapest Thai in Orono and the same quality as competitors. I enjoyed the chicken pad Thai, while my SO enjoyed her pineapple fried rice.

Everything is extremely sugary. Pad thai, thai basil leaves, tom yum soup. Even the chicken satay tastes like it is coated in sugar. delivery was super fast though.

Out of all the Thai food places I have tried between Augusta and Orono Thai Kitchen is the best. It's so nice to have chicken pad Thai that isn't dry and flavorless! Always great service!

Thai food does not get any better then this. It is always outstanding in every way. We live in Portland, and always ask friends to bring the Thai food to us, and we always eat it when we are in Orono. BEST EVER

So one of the only things that I have had here is their crab rangoons, but they are hands down the best rangoons that I have EVER had. They are a little less traditional, I believe that there may be a touch of yellow curry in them, but it brings them to a whole new level. My boyfriend eats here a lot more often, and he swears by it, its one of his favorite Asian places in Maine.

Do be careful of the spice level though, it is VERY hot, even to some spice lovers

The food here is wonderful, fresh, and inexpensive. The coffee is amazing. The delivery is efficient and courteous. The staff is so, so sweet. Highly recommend Thai Kitchen!

Thai kitchen is the comfort food you run to when your exams just kicked your butt and you're 500 miles from home. My stand by is usually the green curry. They are really good about making things vegan that aren't necessarily traditionally vegan. Whenever I travel back to Orono I ALWAYS stop there once.

It was underwhelming but if I went to college here I would certainly not pass this up!

Great little place, tucked away in Orono. This place is in a renovated garage and has limited parking, but the food is excellent! They make the food fresh to order and it is some of the best Thai food I've ever had. I've tried the Pad Thai and the flavors are just amazing. There isn't really a lot of seating, so I would recommend picking up the food or having them deliver. Prices are decent and the portions are huge! Definitely a must-try restaurant in the area.

My family and I were passing through on a trip to Acadia park and we happened to find this little gem. Although it was a little tricky to figure out where to go, we were glad we did. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs and are fast! Thank you Thai Kitchen!

I got the chicken Pad Thai lunch combo. It came to my apartment quickly, piping hot, and delicious! Both the person I spoke to over the phone and the person who delivered my food were really friendly. Overall I'm pleased.

Red curry here is outstanding. Asked for 5 stars hot, was advised against it and ordered 4 stars which was on the verge of being too spicy. Not your typical Maine spicy which is great. Elsewhere you ask for spicy and you get one chilli flake but not at Thai Kitchen. Highly recommended.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! They do not know how to make things correctly with the space system. Plus the owner refused to fix the mistake. He was yelling at me plus I have had hair in my food and they called me a liar

Amazing yellow curry, spring rolls, dumplings, veg egg rolls. Only thing I have disliked so far is their tofu triangles, super bland.

My son had raved about Thai Kitchen and I finally had the opportunity to visit, too. "Like family" is a good description of how I was welcomed. "Like a queen" is how I ate. The fresh rolls were exactly that - FRESH. Wrappers soft and tender and the fillings just the perfect mix of veggies and seasonings and protein, perfectly set off by duck sauce and peanuts. Crab rangoons took on a whole new meaning; light, flavorful, perfect. I was concerned that the orange duck would be too spicy (I am a complete spice wimp) and was assured that I could handle a "level 1". Like the rest of the meal, it was perfect. I felt like Goldilocks having found my "just right"! Topped off the meal with Thai tea; rich, sweet, fragrant. The only thing wrong with this restaurant is that it's not in Freeport!

Probably the best place for food in Maine if not the country. They got that little extra flavor in the curry that you can tell is passed down generation by generation. The spices in their soups, curries, sauces all are delicate yet thorned with a taste of just the right pinch of flavor that will seduce the highest of all food critics. I live an hour away and have dreams about their food. Once I start eating I can't stop because my mouth is salivating in orgasmic tastes that are authentic, delicious, and flavored in all the right ways to make you melt inside. You can really feel the effort put into everything you eat.
