I usually order Pineapple Fried Rice and have plenty of leftovers.

I love love love Pinto Thai to Go. I usually get their chicken drunken noodle dish as that is my favorite, but their Korean chicken bites are becoming one too. There appetizers are great and varied, and it's always nice to see what new desserts and drinks they have available. The store inside has a variety of candies and snacks, and that is one of the only places I found some of my favorite fruit and coffee candies. My Gran loves their teriyaki and spicy basil salmon dishes, they are delicious and the veggies are always cooked perfectly. The restaurant is lovely; clean, bright, and open so you feel comfortable dining in as well as taking away. The staff and owners are always a delight to talk with, polite and cheery. Everything is always ready in a very timely manner.

Pinto is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. Love all the food, and the people are wonderful humans. I only wish I could go more often.

Excellent quality, gorgeous flavors, one of my favorite places to get take out. There is also quite a large selection of packaged Thai goodies to the right od the counter when you walk in. I love that you can order online and that it's so easy to order vegetarian, since you have a choice of proteins and I always go with veggies only as I don't care for tofu but I don't eat meat. I love their drunken noodles lvl1, pad thai, curry, everything is bursting with flavor.

I showed right before their break (2:30-3) and they graciously let me stay and eat the most amazing cashew nut stir fry with chicken. Wow!! I’m definitely coming back. We have been eating at Pinto Thai To Go since they opened. We were customers of their previous restaurant at the airport in Augusta (Sweet Chilli Thai). Exceptional food, service and staff! We won’t eat any other Thai food! We love Pinto Thai To Go!❤️

Vegan Heaven! Staff were very knowledgeable about vegan options/restrictions and the options were plentiful and oh soooo delicious! We had the spicy drunken basil (tofu) fried rice. It was steamy hot and the flavours were perfect! Also had a tofu panang curry which was good too. Ask for steamed tofu if you are concerned about a shared fryer for the tofu... It's just as good if not better!

Food is good but I just ordered online and was charged .99 cents. WHAT? Never heard of such a thing. I saved them money by not tying up their staff with taking the order and processing my payment. This was in THEIR benefit and I got charged a buck!! Not happy, might not even order there again as I prefer the convenience of online ordering especially when I cannot always understand the staff.

Daughter just moved to Agusta and we love Thai and to our amazement they are a 3 minute drive!! How lucky we are!!

Best Thai food around! Ingredients are always fresh and tasty!

When I could eat here I LOVED it! Now I can no longer eat rice, I go into their little store section to by the only noodles that I can eat. So many gluten/grain-free noodles taste different and just sit in your stomach like a stone. These noodles taste like noodles, are filling but not heavy and I have come to love Pinto in a whole new way!

I wish I could give the food a better score. I was super excited to try this place while I'm staying in August for business. I order the sweet chili chicken thinking that it would taste similar to Thai sweet chili sauce. I opened the container and was hit with an intense fishy smell. I tried one bite but could not deal with the fishy taste. I know thai cuisine uses things like fish sauce and shrimp paste, but I tend to avoid dishes that have a lot in them. I thought I'd be safe with this dish but I guess I was wrong. I definitely wouldn't have ordered if I knew that it had some kind of fish-based product in it. The rice was good though!

Pinto Thai has excellent dishes and delicious food. The restaurant is clean, and the employees are always friendly and ensure that your order is correct. They also have a small section to purchase items/ingredients you wouldn't typically find in bigger grocery stores. Each time I've ordered via online I've had a wait time of 60+ minutes which can make it difficult to order from here when I'm limited on time, but the quality and taste of Pinto Thai has me coming back when I can plan and order ahead to fit in the wait. I hope that Pinto Thai can find a way to reduce the lengthy wait times, but the food is always ready at the pickup time given! Looking forward to my next meal here.

What can I say, this place is so lovely. I go for the snacks more than anything, but I had some dumplings today-I was shocked with how huge they were. The variety of snacks is huge-lots of fun flavored booze, teas, noodles, candies. Decently priced too. The gals that work here are just super sweet and I love it here :).

Very friendly as we entered the restaurant. We ordered our food and sat down to wait. Within 15 minutes we had our food and out the door headed home. Food was great! The portions were huge, very flavorful, and hot (not spicy, but mean just fixed). We will return to try other dishes in the future.

Excellent food! First time going. I got a yellow curry ("insanely spicy") and my friend got a pad thai. Not afraid to make it spicy! The red pepper flakes were ground up so they didn't interfere with the flavor, and they gave me extra on the side in case I wanted it (I did). Good heat level, I actually felt it! ;) The flavors are delicious, and everything was cooked well. Will be going again.

Friendly service from the two employees I met. The dining area and restrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen. Everything was neat and orderly. Looked like the restaurant opened yesterday. My take out order was ready when they said it would be. I had a 15 minute drive and the food was still hot when I got home. The four of us had different meals and all of them were great Will definitely go to there again.

DELICIOUS! I got fried dumplings and pineapple curry; even though the server warned me that it might take longer than usual because they were swamped with orders, the food came out really quickly! The server and cashier were soooooo nice. AND there's a cute little market on the side where you can buy Asian snacks and sauces!

This is my absolute favorite thing to eat. I LOVE the pineapple fried rice with chicken and peanut sauce! It is to die for! The fried spring rolls and chicken on a stick is sooo good too! The only issue I have it it’s never the same taste. Some times it’s perfect and others it just taste different like it’s not cooked the same way every time( or cooked with something else). Either way I’ll always order from here.

It pains me to write this review because I had such high hopes after reading what everyone else had to say. Thai food is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE cuisine ever so when I found this place I was so excited, and it’s been so hard to find good Thai in Maine…
We ordered a green curry, pad-see-ew, Drunken noodles, crab Rangoons and fried rolls. Nothing really tasted like anything to be honest. It was all pretty much one flat note. We ordered the Pad-See-ew without spice... so it literally tasted like nothing. It was dry and sticky, and had almost no veggies in it at all. The drunken noodles were also bone dry and sticky, ordered with 3 star spice, supposedly the hottest. It literally tasted like slightly spicy nothing. No flavor, just a little heat. A very mild heat for 3 stars. And again it had almost no veggies at all! Just a little bit of onion, some basil, and *one* piece of broccoli.
The dipping sauce that came with the rolls was delicious, but the rolls themselves fit the same theme: zero flavor at all.
The green curry had a hint of a mild green curry flavor but was severely missing that comforting umami flavor one tends to look for in a curry. Bland light green milk with 5 pieces of chicken and a couple slices of bell pepper in it. Nothing else.
The Rangoons were actually perfect for me, as I don't like crab much and these had no trace or crab flavor.

So for $75, we got some very good cream cheese Rangoons, flavorful dipping sauces, about 3-5lbs of unflavored dry sticky flat rice noodles, and some green milk with a little bit of chicken in it.
I honestly feel like we ordered too close to closing time so they just gave us whatever they had on hand. I’m severely disappointed and I honestly feel ripped off. I paid for flavor but only brought home regrets :(

Truly nothing better. I've tried many of their dishes and can confidently say Pinto Thai is one of the best restaurants in the state. You'll want to lick your plate clean! Great service and great portion sizes, as well. What a delight to have in the Augusta area.

I might be biased, but as a person who has tried numerous Thai places in Maine, Pinto is the best Thai food I’ve come across. I can’t recommend this Thai place enough. If you ever find yourself in Augusta stop by and give this Thai a try. 10/10

Extremely impressed by this place. Picked up 2 fried rice, the Thai w/ shrimp and the pineapple fried rice with chicken. The flavors are amazing, I usually don't even like tomato, but I had some in the fried rice and was shocked by how well the flavors went together. The portion sizes were also much bigger than I anticipated and in a good way, the person I bought the pineapple fried rice for was also very impressed by the flavor and size of the dish, I tried some and it was similarly quite tasty. I don't review places very often but this place definitely stood out to me, glad I stopped by, the food was also piping hot, I drove home 20ish miles and it was like we were served it right at the restaurant. Deserves all 5 stars, it's a great place.

Very bummed. The owners used to own another restaurant buy built this location. Super excited once it finally opened as i have to eat gluten free and they had great food at prior location. Their gluten free thia options were alot less at the new location. After all the wait i now need to find a new place.......

This is the BEST Thai food around, and I have been to many Thai restaurants! The layers of flavor just can't be beat and every meal is top notch. I savor every bite. The establishment is super clean and the owners are incredibly friendly. It's pricey, but worth the treat. If we could, we would get takeout from here at least once a week!

Best Thai food in the area! I love the fresh ingredients, menu selections and consistently hot food. The business is primarily to go and often busy so it's a good idea to plan ahead especially during rush times. The dishes display fresh and hot without a lot of grease or oil which is always appreciated.

We aren't from Maine and most Asian restaurants here have very bland and watery sauces. Thank God Pinto knows what real Asian food should taste like. Very flavorful. No soupy sauce. Our taste buds thank you.
