Amazing new Thai restaurant! They sure do live up to their name! I got Pad see ew with broccoli florets (it normally comes with Chinese broccoli) and crab Rangoon (it comes with 6). They were both the best I’ve ever had and super fresh. The rice noodles were fresh and super bouncy with the perfect chew. The restaurant was very clean, welcoming and a good size. They place a little dish with different spices and peanuts for you to dress up your meal, which was a nice touch. The service was exceptional, I brought my 5 month old, and the waiter was so sweet and kept making faces that made her smile. This is by far my favorite new Thai restaurant! The amazing Thai location is out in Middletown in a strip mall. It was formally a Filipino restaurant . It is now a Thai restaurant. We went for lunch and there were great options for lunch combinations. I really appreciated that for a lunch combo. You could get an entrée, a spring roll and a soup. It was really a great deal and a great option. I got the Pad Kee Mow with tofu. It was delicious and it was on point with the spice. My friend got the Thai eggplant with no spice and it was also on point. She also enjoyed a Thai iced coffee, which was excellent. I think it was most impressed with the soup as well. It was flavorful, warm and hearty. It was perfect for a cold winter day. Our service was prompt and kind. I would definitely like to go back on a lunch hour to try another dish.

We had a group of 6 for Sunday dinner. The servers were attentive and friendly. Most of us had the boat noodle soup. The portions were huge and the broth was bursting with flavors!! We also had the yellow curry and Seafood Pad Cha (which is a must try) We will definitely be back. They did not have alcohol license yet but hopefully they will get it soon, because the tom yum seafood hot pot would have been perfect with a Thai beer!

Amazing Thai absolutely lives up to its name. Everything was so delicious and very authentic. I don’t understand why this place isn’t packed all the time, you must give it a try! We got a Thai ice coffee, crab Rangoon, Chicken Skewers, Boat noodles, and Red chicken curry. We make it out to amazing Thai at least once a week, because the food is really that good! If nothing else you must try the Thai Boat noodles, think Pho but with a rich homemade beef broth. I get it medium spice, and it hits the spot every-time. Come and try Amazing Thai!

Would’ve been even better if I had the spice level we asked for. Both our dishes came with no spice even though we asked for 2 and 4. It was carry out to maybe that’s where the issue is

I’m from Marietta Ga and I’ve got a couple Thai restaurants I love and now I have one hear in Kentucky. 2nd time hear and 2nd time this week had to come back. Had the Ginger Lemon Grass chicken and the chicken coconut soup it’s soooooo good!!! I highly recommend this spot worth the drive💪🏽💪🏽

I was expecting much more from a place called "amazing." for the lunch special. Pad Thai was ok. The soup was not hot & barely warm, makes me think it was not freshly made. I should have returned it, but I didn't. Not sure if I'd return to try anything else considering there are other Thai restaurants I like better in St. Matthew's. The service was good.

It wasn't really good. The service was frustrating and the food was just average, lacking any real flavor. Overall, it didn't meet my expectations, and I wouldn't recommend it.

I recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The customer service was incredibly aggravated and unpleasant, which really set a negative tone for the visit. On top of that, the food was bland and lacked any flavor, making it a rather unappetizing meal. I expected much more and left feeling dissatisfied. Try this place immediately! It is incredible. Fresh, flavorful, friendly service, clean establishment. We ordered online and picked it up, but they have a great dining area as well.

I got the pad see eaw, satay chicken appetizer, and fried egg rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and I cannot wait to go back. I want to try the fried rice next. Our waiter was so nice and professional. You can feel the warmth and they greeted us with sweet smiles, thanked us for coming, and encouraged us to come back, which we will! We love Thai food and this is now our favorite! So glad they are open now!

I ordered the pumpkin curry, massaman curry, and the curry fried rice. While every item was delicious, the fried rice with pineapple and a hint of curry was out of this world. Superb food! Kudos to the chefs.

New restaurant alert. Amazing Thai is in the strip mall with the Jefferson county license branch behind the plant lady. They have an extensive menu. Curries, stir fries, noodle soups and noodle and rice dishes. They are waiting for a liquor license. I enjoyed a coconut juice and hubby had Thai iced coffee. We both loved the Khao soi Curry noodle soup. I wanted the Mango sticky rice dessert but got it to go because I am too full. We ordered mild spice and they suggested a chili tray if we wanted it more spicy. We will be back. Nice atmosphere. Not too noisy with quiet soft rock background music. They have lunch specials.

I have been to every Thai restaurant in Louisville, and this one was by far the best I have had. We had the hot pot and mango sticky rice.

I should start with I love Thai food and have been to almost every Thai restaurant in the city and southern IN.
We dined there last night because we were visiting my in-laws who live in the neighborhood. They’ve only been open a couple of months and it’s probably some of the best Thai food I’ve had in this city!
The atmosphere lacks a little something, but the food makes up for it in a big way. My husband had the seafood, fried rice, my mother and I both had the Tom Kla soup. Let me start with the soup….. it’s basically Tom Yum soup with coconut milk and I have had this at every Thai restaurant in town and this was by far the BEST!
My mother had the eggplant with fried tofu and I had the pumpkin curry with tofu. All three entrees came out fresh off the skillet and piping hot. LOVE as good just out of the skillet is how we like it.
Service was very attentive and the people working there are young, friendly and want to ensure you have a good experience. They are so attentive that they may come over to the table a little too much but I found it charming as they are so eager.
My only tiny negative is we avoid sugar as much as possible and we could not order our food without sugar as the sauces are made for the day. Every restaurants does and I have only found one Thai restaurant that is willing to accommodate our preference. With that said, it not a deal breaker to returning to Amazing Thai because it was that good:)

We went to Amazing Thai on Labor Day when the "other" Thai place down the road was closed. The other place is older and therefore more well-known, but hands down, Amazing Thai is where you should be going for superior Thai food. WOW! By the end of our lunch (and dinner that night, because portions are generous!), we know exactly where we will be returning for our next Thai meal - Amazing Thai! The pad see ew is phenomenal. The wait staff was great, and they accommodated our somewhat large party with ease. We can't wait to return!

Big Asian food fans and loving the influx new options in Middletown. Thai has been disappointing with the only available option with poor service and fluctuating food quality

But now we have a better option! Quick takeout, bit portions and better flavor than the other simple place. Pad Thai and pad Ke mow were better. Give it a shot and support the new guys.

This little place is the BOMB!!! If you are looking for authentic Thai food, you are going to LOVE it! We tried almost everything on their menu as we’ve been there now 3 times. And to top it off, my son who is allergic to nuts is able to eat there because the owner/cook is able to accommodate him—no longer are the days of our family not able to eat Thai due to a nut allergy risk. Their curries to the BBQ pork, the sticky rice and even their desserts are TOP NOTCH!

All dishes were prepared as expected. Thai level spicy (5) isn't anywhere close to crazy so bump up your spice level if you normally like some heat.

The bowl of Tom Kha soup was packed with ingredients and flavor. Some places are stingy with the ingredients, but this bowl was packed with them. Very creamy and a bit heavy on the coconut milk imo - still absolutely delicious and textbook flavor.

Masssaman curry is my go-to dish at Thai restaurants, and this recipe was perfect. The attention to detail with crinkle cut edges on the carrots and potatoes are touches that you don't always see - adds a nice texture and typically indicates quality. Beef was tender and thinly sliced as it should be.

Pad-thai was spot-on. Chow Mein had fresh chunky veggies and fantastic flavor. Exactly what you'd expect.

The Seafood Pad Cha was plated beautifully and was delicious. It is served on a hot plate and is bubbling with flavorful juices when it's served.

Well done all around. Highly recommend!

Beef salad, Three flavored fish, Pad thai, Thai chicken wings… all of them were good! I try beef salad at every Thai restaurant I go, and I loved one at here, the best in town. Three flavored fish was a fried fishes with sweet sauce on top, but I really liked how they fried it crispy and crunchy. It was really good! Staffs were very friendly and nice, quick service. This place will be our go to place for Thai food.
*You can pick 1-5 for spiciness. 5 is the Thai hot/very spicy. We ordered Pad thai with mild, it was not spicy at all. If you want to add the spiciness, ask chille sauce and you can add it as you desire.

The name is right - this is some amazing Thai food! The portions are large and food came out piping hot. I enjoyed the massaman curry, and the rangoon was INCREDIBLE - the best I've ever had.

Had high hopes and ordered carry out- but honestly was really disappointed with both the flavor and the chicken in the chicken pad Thai as we didn’t feel like it was as good as Simply Thai’s chicken pad Thai. The sampler platter was very good but disappointed that there was no dumpling sauce to go with the dumplings. Nice that they were open on a Sunday but with pad Thai being our go to meal option, we would choose Simply Thai over this place.

Best pineapple curry I’ve ever had!

Really nice place for a date night based on the ambiance, not too loud, low mood lighting and a few T.V.'s with things to watch in the background, but not take center stage. The food was very good, I had the yellow curry and the glass noodles. I can't say anything about the spice levels because we had to get mild and it was delicious and definitely not spicy. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and operated as a team helping with tables greeting and saying goodbye. I would go back again.

New Thai restaurant with several dishes you won’t find elsewhere (grilled pork and hainanese chicken rice). The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. It reminds me of home cooked food. I liked that I can choose what vegetables to leave out (broccoli and carrots) and there are plenty of options on the menu for everyone to enjoy. I will definitely be back. The grilled pork is very flavorful and absolutely tasty! Prices are comparable with other Thai spots.

My wife and I order this for carry out. This was our first time trying Amazing Thai. We eat at Simply Thai about 1-2 times a month it is one of our favorites. Since they are closed on Sunday I searched for another place. Simply Thai has more menu items. The wait time at Amazing Thai was much shorter. The young man I spoke with was extremely helpful. I think pricing is pretty even between the 2. We ordered the Sampler Platter, Pad Thai and the Thai Basil Stir Fry. Everything was INCREDIBLE!. My wife said she likes it better. We are long time fans of Simply Thai but we will be going back to Amazing Thai! My next dish to try will be the Thai Boat Noodles. It sounds incredible.

I lived in Thailand for many years and have been looking for an authentic Khao Soi dish… well look no further! The egg noodles and coconut broth is an explosion of flavor in your mouth! The yellow curry is also amazing and has the perfect flavor. Would give this place 10 stars if I could. Can’t wait to try everything else on the menu!

One of the most AUTHENTIC Thai restaurants in Louisville! This place just opened and it is wonderful... BBQ Pork is my favorite, but the Thai fried rice, mango sticky rice and sampler appetizer are my other favorites. Also had the red curry lunch special and the price and flavor can't be beat!
