It's been a while since I've been this impressed with a new restaurant. Brought the fam to Thai Spice in Webster, TX and ordered a smorgasbord of spicy goodies. Veggie Lover with beautiful tofu, Penang Curry with chicken and vegetables, Thai fried rice, absolutely delightful orange chicken, green curry with beef and last but certainly not least Pad See Ew with pork and vegetables. All of it was quite delicious, ample in serving proportion, and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is nice and clean. Staff is attentive and friendly. This is exactly the experience you want when taking the family to a nice dinner. Great job Thai spice, you have my thanks.

First and foremost, I don’t like to give bad reviews unless I’m forced to do it. Came to eat after a soccer competition in Clear Lake with my family and as soon as we walked in instead of greeting us the approach was horrible. One of the two ladies that were working that day as waiters and cashier, told us we are not open, I said well the door is open and is 1143am. Well the chef is not ready and if you stay you are going to wait around 5-10minutes, and I said that’s fine. We are Thai foodies, we know a lot about Thai food. Once the chef was ready our order was taken but the waitress had no customer service skills, she spoke good English and had a bad attitude and she definitely was having a bad day and didn’t want to be there. Presentation on the red curry as not a good one, how ever the taste was awesome.
The waitress got upset at us even more and pretty much told me off because she order three Thai ice tea when I only asked for two, when I told her she tried to say that I order three when I didn’t, and even if that was the case she should of handled the situation better. I feel I was over charged because it said one price on the menu but got charged another one on the final tab. If you order egg rolls keep in mind that the egg roll are super tiny.

I ordered online the pad thai medium spice, it was sooo good! This is my first time having it anywhere & I loved it. Spice was perfect. I ordered my husband the drunken chicken, I thought it would come with noodles since it’s usually drunken noodles but I was wrong so my fault. But it didn’t come with that much chicken (forgot to get pic of his) so I was disappointed in that + no noodles. I got it hot & it wasn’t as hot as I’ve had drunken noodles before. But my husband said the chicken was good. 4 stars because that pad Thai was too good & the food was still hot when I got home.

Food is good but the portions are tiny compared to the price they charge. You can get double the amount of food at most thai places for the same amount.

Staff was very friendly! Ordered a massaman curry, it was okay. In all honesty, it wasn't very flavorful and kind of bland. Prices are about $15/plate, which is reasonable for the area.

I haven't had Thai Spice in years. I had surgery last week and so I ordered by delivery. I got the original fried rice. It had onions and tomatoes in it. I paid extra for more vegetables. It had a lot of onions and 1 small slice of tomato and lots of carrots and brocolli. My son's dish was orange chicken. It had hardly any sauce. We also ordered at lunch so silly Mt thought it would come with spring roll and soup. Came with nothing else. Not even packages of soy sauce. What a waste. 53.00 dollars went in the trash. I certainly won't do that again.

The place was nice but the food was terrible. The chicken wasn't cooked enough (kinda raw and chewy).
The staff were unhappy and unfriendly about our complaints. They wanted to taste my food before they believed me.
I visited other locations, and they were fine before, but this location is not the same.

I advise you check the menu before going and if any dish seem good enough for you to try, google what it is and how it's prepared bc that's not mentioned in the menu and I was not pleasantly surprised! I couldn't eat any of the dishes that sounded good to me and ended up paying around $30 for two dishes I didn't eat any of until I've decided I just don't like the place. But that's my personal taste. So do your research before ordering so you don't be shocked like me. Other than that the employees were nice and the orders were relatively quick to prepare and the place was generally nice to sit at.

This place is great for all things thai. Been a couple times and really like the yellow curry noodle soup. The staff was very sweet and warm as well. I highly recommend it!

The food was good but after taking home the food didnt taste the same (obviously its not fresh food at tat point). Make sure to order ur right spice level because the way they have is just too spicy for me but still delicious. I have been only once. I wanna try the mango rice next time. Their fried rice is sooo good please get that for sure.

Vegan food was great, I had yellow curry with tofu, service is fast and we made it to our movie with plenty of time to spare after dining in. Definitely recommend.

The people working there, especially the older lady, is not friendly at all. Kind of a mean lady.

I was hesitant to even eat there. There was no one there, but my party. It was a Monday, and school just started. Enough about that.... it appears to be family owned and operated, which is almost never seen in today's world. They don't have all the bells and whistles of a big corporate chain. The food was good and that is what matters..... just try it for yourselves.

Beef were of very bad cuts and low quality - at least not “expired” tasting.

Way below average for a Thai pad dish.
Inside the restaurant the decor is all resin pieces - very non standard for a Thai restaurant, is this a pop up turned long term gig for them?
50 Thai bhat pad pew on the street of Thailand had way better food than this, hope to see improvements in the future

The red curry was tooo sweet and not red enough. So were Tom Yum soup, and it was too salty. The soup had some tofu, mushrooms and lots of broth. That was literally all in it. Not impressed at all.

I love this place, always delicious food and great service! Their wings are seriously underrated, always crispy and I love their house wing sauce!! Pad Thai is top notch and sonare their Thai currys! Highly recommended!

Been here twice. Food is good. Both times the server got my order wrong, but I are what they brought out to avoid any issues. I recommend pointing at the menu to ensure you get what you intended. I’ll be back to try again.

Been on the look out for good curry restaurants in the area, and this place was pretty good. The yellow curry lunch special was great, and came with salad, soup, and spring rolls. We also got the thom yum soup and I didn’t try it but the person I was with liked it a lot.

We had Panayang chicken curry which was one of the best in town

Had a craving for some chicken, rice and fish sauce. Found this restaurant on Google Maps. Online, I ordered Lemongrass Chicken to go and asked them to make it spicy. There was plenty of chicken, the sauce was spiced up and the taste/flavor were excellent!!! I will be back to dine inside and try some other items on the menu. ps: it was so good I forgot to take a picture...

Had a Thai latte and pork larb salad for lunch. Customer service was great and they are very attentive to what you need. I asked for extra peppers and lime and they didn’t hesitate to bring extras that what I like. Everything was So delicious.

Tried this on a whim. We have been searching for good Thai food since Thai Jasmine shut down and boy did this hit the spot. Dare I say even tastier. Our new go to for Pad Thai and Curry.
Next time I will try a sushi roll and Ramen.

We went to Thai Spice for take out tonight and we were Greeted immediately with kind service. The resturaunt was nice and clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing and nice. Not too crowded at all, but we did get there after 7. So we probably came after the crowd.
Bass was so sweet and took our order with a smile! She made us feel welcomed and like family! If we lived here we would definitely make this one of our favorite regular places to eat.
We ordered the Tom kha gai (sorry if I spelled that wrong), as well as the Tom yum soup. Both were yummy and flavorful! Refreshing with the lemongrass too! We also ordered the ground beef dish, and sticky rice and mango! All very yummy! Sorry I didn't get photos, we were hungry and ate it before I had a chance to snap photos 😅
Our hearts and bellies are nice and full!

Please don’t waist your money. Hands down worst Pad Thai I’ve ever experienced. Tray full of mushy noodles, zero spice. Pad Thai should have 5 distinct flavors- salty, sweet, bitter, sour and spicy. The literally the only flavor was from the lime I squeezed on it.

I've been going to this restaurant regularly for several years and service has taken a turn for the worse. The food has always been great, but soda fountain doesn't work.

Twice within the last couple of months my wife and I were denied service. Once because there was a "large party" of half a dozen or so people and the other because they changed their operating hours without notice--"we close at 9" even though the hours on the door and on Google say 9:30 (I checked before I left the house). Obviously they don't want our business, so we won't waste our time or their time any longer.

Sorry Ying, you were good to us during the peak pandemic, but your coworker doesn't belong in the hospitality business.

Terrible service, both ladies working were rude and didn’t seem to care about their job. There was three of us eating, we all ordered soup as an appetizer and a main course. Two of us got soups on time and the other didn’t get soup until all the main courses were on the table. The waitress also tried to sway our order because of the effort required to prep. They have posted on the door %15 gratuity for parties 8 or more but it was still added to our bill. Our bill was also split into drinks and food separately for some reason. The food itself was not so great, dumplings dry, soup was definitely reheated maybe more than once. (Wonder why it took so long?) Crunch roll was dry and loaded with copious amounts of tempura, wasabi wasn’t even spicy! We will not be back, and it appears many people have the same comments. Owner needs to get rid of these workers and menu needs work.

I am always on the hunt for great Tom Yum and theirs is not bad. I also got Pad Thai, both a 4 level of spiciness. I like a good head sweat when eating spicy, and if you're the same, I'd recommend a 3 level spice. The servers are not friendly and to the point but that's ok, I'm not looking for BFFs. If you're in this area, I would recommend this place over Thai Cottage, which is only down the street.

It’s sad how the owners of this restaurant don’t give the same respect as the clients do and lose clients due to something we should all have: respect for people. The same people who responds to the reviews are saying they’ll improve their service however it never changes since the managers are the owners. The 2 ladies truly need customer service training or at least have manners. Will never come back & wouldn’t recommend.

We’ve been going for years & we thought we would catch the staff in a bad mood. They get annoyed when you ask for sugar or napkins. I always get a spice level 2 but they must’ve put too much & when I asked politely if they could fix it she said “now you know how much spice you can handle, next time don’t do that” in a rude way. I never expect excellent service however they should at least have respect for ppl/manners. They always respond to bad reviews saying that it was the past owners however they’ve been saying that since 2015 & always blame it on the part-timers. Even though the two ladies (one old and other middle aged) are the ones always there. Mediocre food I recommend Thai cottage or Thai spice in pearland instead. Not the ppl you would like to give business to, I don’t understand how they can be so bitter to people.

My lunch was such a disappointment. I had high hopes for a delicious meal. I ordered E12 charcoal pork and spring rolls. My food had no flavor besides the dipping sauce which I think the spring rolls and the pork used the same sauce. The pork came with brown rice and that was repulsive and inedible. It taste like it was cooked with dirty dish water or a moldy smelling rag. It was gross. I could live with bland flavorless pork but the rice pushed it over the point where I had to say something.

My go-to for Thai in Clearlake Houston. For lunch you get two eggrolls, soup and salad free. Most dishes are available in vegetarian.

The to-go wait wasn't a long wait and the portion size was good for lunch, the food was also fresh and delicious.

My husband loved his curry but I don't care for Thai food so I had a basic salad & wings which were very good. The place was clean and the service great.

I ordered the yellow curry and pad kee mao, level 3, both were delicious. Ordered my food for pick up and it was ready in 20-25 minutes as promised. The girl who rang me out was super nice. No complaints here 😌

AMAZING. This place is so good. I always get the yellow curry and literally crave it sometimes. The staff here also remembers us and our order every time. It’s def a vibe. 10/10 would recommend.

Just ate lunch there today with my Sunday school and definitely not going back. Ordered the Royal Dumplings and there were several pieces of a hard substance...bone?...in one of them. The soup was just ok. We told the server twice we wanted separate checks but she messed up that so took an extra 45 minutes to get checked out! Then I went to the restroom only to find no toilet tissue!!! What an unpleasant experience! NEVER AGAIN!!

Just ordered Tom Yum and a Philly roll from here about an hour ago. First off, they don’t even remove the tails from the shrimp in the soup. Also, why the hell are there blades of grass as thick as sticks in there? Opened up my sushi to get a whiff of rotten ginger. *gag. So disappointed because this place has such good reviews. I’ll definitely be getting my money back from Uber eats.

Sweet and sour tofu was the best I've had anywhere. Perfectly crispy. Summer rolls were also amazing along with the sauces for them.

Ordered on Uber eats and tried to change my order by phone since customization isn’t available online. Lady on the phone refused to alter the order and take out the meat even though they have in the past.
Spend your money somewhere else that actually cares about retaining their customers and making a meal they would enjoy.

They’ve messed up my order too many times

I ordered a meal and it never came out and even though my husband was clearly eating and I was not, no one came to check as to WHY my food wasn’t out until we finally were able to get their attention to come over when he was done eating and she didn’t say anything at all when I said “my food never came out” and just kind of stared… and then asked if I ordered food… Yes, I ordered from YOU. Since she said nothing else, I said bring the check. I told the manager(?) after I called her over because I was waiting for the girl to bring my check, which she was taking too long, and she said “Oh i’m sorry… She’s new”. VERY annoying. Won’t be back.
