This was probably our favorite vegan meal while we were visiting in Louisville. We got the tofu soup for an appetizer, and then we got the panang tofu Curry with potatoes added. It was delicious, had lots of veggies, and was vegan. The price was reasonable for what we got as well. The service was also fantastic! We would highly recommend!

We actually came to the area to try the Mediterranean place next door, but it was closed. We were hesitant to try here because we were recently burned by a new restaurant experience. I’m so glad we continued.

I’ve never had Thai food before, but this was soooo good. My kids got chicken nuggets and fries and they devoured them. That isn’t always something they do. I tried a nibble and they were tasty.

My husband got a seafood noodle soup and he liked it. I tasted a scallop and the broth out of it. The soup was flavorful and the scallop good.

I got the beef garlic stir fry. I was in love with it. I’ve attempted to make a dish like this at home and it was nowhere near as good as this place. I’m craving more of the sauce.

We left all happy and full but not disgusting feeling. We are already discussing when we can go back.

I’m holding out hope on being able to take this review down and return to 5 stars, but also feeling reluctant to order again.

We went to Bahn Thai looking at the great rating. I should say I was a little disappointed. Ordered jungle curry tofu, cashew chicken, chicken pad thai, and red curry chicken. The jungle curry was better than the others. Cashew chicken was full of soy sauce. Red curry chicken was quite mediocre. Chicken pad thai was a tad too sweet. The positive thing is that it is wallet friendly but I guess, you get what you pay for!!!!! All in all, it was just ok for me, and I don't think I will be returning here. I felt there are better thai places in Louisville.

I got the mung bean noodle with chicken, substituted onions for mushrooms Thai spicy and my partner got pad Thai chicken.

Another huge improvement is the music change. Finally not playing the religious junk. Hate having religion shoved down my throat.

I'll start with portions are quite small and I'm always disappointed by this (somehow I keep forgetting this when I return each time(. That said, food is decent (hit or miss depending on the dish)!

We tried:
- shrimp salad: fresh shrimp and great spice flavors (probably my favorite dish there)
- drunken noodles: just meh. Hardly any protein. Definitely didn't see any basil
- panang curry: could this dish be any smaller and lacking? They basically just gave us curry liquid.
- seafood stir fry: decent except the liquid was a bit tart (could go without the imitation crab)
- ginger fish: love the crispy fish filet in this dish
- cashew chicken: liquid in this dish was a bit salty but the overall dish is good
- Thai tea: WAY TOO SWEET

I did not like that they removed the Thai names of dishes from the menu. But, I overheard a table next to me expressing great pleasure in this change. So probably the right move for their customers.

Stopped here on our way back to Louisville after a day on the Bourbon Trail. Service and food were excellent. Appetizer platter, cashew chicken, and sweet-and-sour chicken all hit the spot.

Meal ready in 5 minutes. Very good. I love they coconut soup too

The first time I ordered from here was about three weeks ago, and it was so sweet that I actually have to throw it away. I couldn't even eat it. So I decided to give it a second chance since I didn't tell them to hold the sugar the first time, and ordered 2 dishes. I specifically asked them not to put any sweet. I can't eat sweet. I took the food home and it is so sweet again. It's so sickening sweet that I cannot eat it. I have wasted twenty nine dollars plus tips and again I have had to throw it away. I will never go back.

I have been to alot of Thai restaurants, but this one takes the prize. I drive over a hour to just eat at this restaurant and it's always worth the drive.

I absolutely love this place! I drive an hour just to eat here and it is well worth it! The atmosphere is so friendly and the Ragoon is amazing!

Food is all fantastic. Though we mainly get it delivered or go for lunch since they don’t serve alcohol and I like to have a glass of wine with date night!

The best pork dumplings I've ever had! Rangoon was amazing. Pad Thai was amazing. I got a level 3 and it was pretty spicy. Highly Recommend!!

The food and service was excellent! It is a little confusing as to "seat yourself" or order at the counter and I think it's because they get more take out orders than dine in, but we enjoyed our lunch very much and we will be back. We had the Basil chicken and the Chicken and Vegetables. Both were delicious.

Excellent food. Chicken Pad Thai, crab rangoon and hot and sour soup. Friend had the tofu curry and really enjoyed. I have yet to have anything I didn't like.

I usually get the drunkin noodle but this Chicken Pad Thai is the best I've had so far. 10 stars if I could! My husband and I both love their food. Went here for lunch while in the area for work. Great service and very fast. Prices on par with other establishments. I had the Pad Thai and Satay Chicken, both were delicious! I love Thai food and have been to many Thai restaurants, I would place Bahn Thai toward the top of list and highly recommend.

Absolutely LOVE this place - when it was Sala Thai and now. Same menu, same yummy EVERYTHING, and same amazing people! You will not be disappointed! Drunken noodles, garlic beef, basil chicken (get the egg), dumplings - I mean - it is all fabulous!

Usually 5 stars and our go to place when we are in town, but today, I have to knock off one star for the long white hair I pulled out of the drunken noodles and another for the hours I spent on the toilet this evening. First time they’ve disappointed.

Formerly Sala Thai, this is my favorite restaurant in Louisville. Their curries are fantastic, especially panang, yellow and jungle. Drunken noodles and pad thai are also delicious. Also try their basil fried rice! Staff are always friendly and service is great!
