This is a small, unassuming Thai restaurant tucked away in a mini strip mall near Pawnee and Rock in Wichita. The atmosphere is clean and modest but the food.... The food was spectacular when we dropped by for lunch today. My wife ordered Pad Thai - Flat Noodle Style (not spicy) and I ordered the Drunken Noodles (hot). My Drunken Noodles were delicious with just enough heat to create a bit of sheen on my face. 😊 We'd definitely recommend this to other people!

This is a wonderful Thai place with wonderful people. We stopped in as we were driving through town on vacation. The chicken Pad Thai was fantastic! They forgot to put chicken is one of the dishes and our server was apologetic. They were very nice and even gave us a free drink. The chicken was worth the little wait as it was delicious. The restaurant felt nice and homey with little decorations. If you enjoy good Thai food I highly recommend!

Everything is good in here from the food to the staff. I came to the restaurant many times for the last two years. Only one thing that makes me disappointed that the To Go Food was never the same as when you dine in. For example: the Papaya salad was a lot lesser than the dine-in one. Last time I ordered a Glass Noodle with combination, that was a big disappointment since the first time I had food there. I don’t know if they didn’t have enough glass noodle or else but they put rice in half of the portion, I didn’t want rice, if I wanted I would order fried rice instead of glass noodle, and they seasoned too light, almost unflavored. I ordered combination but the dish’s meat was mostly pork, and the pork was quite dried. I hope they listen to this feedback as a constructive comment and improve in the future. I’ll be back.

The Drunken noodles are delicious

I tried to call them a few months ago if we can come at 8:20pm when they close at 9:00pm (very late I know). The caller didn’t understand my question and told me that I would have to ask the owner. I tried to ask in a different way if we can dine in if we came at 8:20. I don’t know if the caller was stressed or something but they proceeded to say “okay okay….son of a b” I did not like that type of disrespect so I hung up. The owner called me afterwards about my question but I was quite mad about his worker’s attitude which I told him that I was not happy with that and I changed my mind about coming tonight. I used to love this place but I don’t think I want to go here again.

8-23-2024 My family was excited to go have lunch at Thai Village, to celebrate my husband birthday. We ordered larb beef, larb chicken, kow pek (rice noodles porridge soup), yum seafood and pho soup. Everything tasted fine except the pho soup. It tasted like water with a hint of salt. I told the supervisor that the pho soup didn't taste good if they could put pho seasoning in it. The supervisor explain to us that the pho is an American flavor not Thai or Lao style flavor, that you fix it yourself with the ingredients given. Supervisor said we can get something else if we want or try fix the flavor ourselves. We decided to try fix the flavor, but it can't be fix. At the end of the meal I was just asking nicely and privately if we can get a refund for the pho soup since we didn't eat it. The supervisor said we couldn't because she's not the owner and couldn't make the decision for a refund and that we already mix the soup and didn't exchange it the first time. I was ok with her answer and accepted her decision and feeling fine about it, UNTIL I HEAR OUR WAITRESS Talking ( in Thai language) Real Loud, Gossiping to her co worker, where customers were eating about me asking a refund like it was a bad thing for a customer to ask. I FELT EMBARRASSED AND UPSET she talking about my situation for everyone to hear. I spoke out loud that I can hear her and let her know I understand what she saying and I even told the supervisor, and the supervisor responded back saying, "what the waitress said wasn't bad!"
I was shocked and didn't say anything. My husband did told her we weren't coming back.
What sad is My family and I would usually order alot of food from them. Everyone at the restaurant need to be train not to talk or gossip about customers in the eating area. I'm sure this probably has happen before with other customers but some customers just didn't understand Thai language.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I found this place by happenstance. I was going to eat at another place but it was closed so as I was driving away a block later I spotted this place and figured what the heck I'll give it a try. It was love at 1st bit. Everything here is sooooo good. My favorite is the evil jungle curry with chicken and as spicy as they can make it. I eat here about once a week. I've tried asking for the recipe or even ordering the curry by the gallon (lol, it's that good) but no luck so far. O'well, guess I'll just have to keep coming back every week. 🤷‍♀️

Hands down our favorite spot for Thai in the area. The food is very tasty. Most importantly, the people are extra friendly and attentive.

I recently dined at Thai Village and was very impressed by both the amazing cuisine and attentive and friendly service. The menu was very extensive with many appetizers, noodle, soup, curry, stir fry, and rice dishes that can be tailored to your liking with protein, vegetables, and heat. We ordered the Pad Thai Combination and Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken. The food arrived at the table and was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. The attentive staff made sure our food was to our satisfaction and that our water glasses were filled. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, tastefully decorated, and very clean. This was truly a fantastic dining experience and I can’t wait to return to explore more of their delicious creations. Highly recommended! A must-visit destination for any Thai food lover.
Update, I enjoyed this restaurant so much a week later decided to take someone else to try more freshly prepared items from the abundant menu. This time we had Chicken Fried Rice, Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Sticky Rice, and Hot Green Tea. The food and service were just as spectacular as before. My food companion couldn’t quit raving about how wonderful everything tasted. The service was spot on again. Don’t pass by this hidden gem. Stop in and try some quality Thai food, freshly prepared to your liking, with some of the best service I have received in town.

Came here often because their food is really good. We last visited Sept 2023 and never went back since due to finding mouse droppings inside Thai tea. We reported them to the health department for inspection. We told the lady there but she denied having mouse. First we thought it was a tea leaf but it was definitely a dropping. Disappointed but now we go to Chiang Mai Thai. They are good as well!

I love this restaurant. Best pad thai in Wichita. They do charge more at the register than what is listed on the menu, but as long as you're okay with 15 dollars per person for lunch, it's very delicious food.

Very good Thai food! I had the pad Thai with chicken and extra veggies, Thai hot. It was a little spicier than I expected but otherwise the flavor was very balanced. Food was delicious. I lived in Bangkok for 4 years, this is so far my favorite Thai place in ICT. Prices are fair. I keep hoping g to find a nam manao soda...no luck yet! I'd also be interested to hear if any finds good salim.

Their food is by far the best Thai food in Wichita.

Food is not flavorful and authentic at all for being a local Thai restaurant. Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Curries such as green and red were all bland even when I asked for the spiciest flavor. They put lots of chili oil on top on the curries but not thai chilis or thai chili powder?? I've never seen someone doing that to a thai curry. The staff even got my order wrong as the dishes were supposed to be vegetarian or have beef added but got chicken instead.

They need to get a new payment system. I got charged 3 times for an order that was over $40 when paying in the restaurant. The staff didn't know until I showed them to which they immediately fixed. The establishment is not the cleanest either.

Came here for my birthday, and it was a memorable experience. I ordered the Thai Chicken Fried Rice, Red Curry with Chicken, and the Appetizer platter. My girl ordered Pan See Ew with Chicken. Thay gave me the Mango Sticky Rice dessert for my birthday, and it was delicious! The food came out fast, and fresh. They were very generous for doing that for me. I'll definitely be back soon! 😁👍🏽💯

Disregard the downscale exterior, there are good things inside! I enjoyed the Panang curry with tofu. Portion size was good for lunch, and medium heat was pleasantly🔥 Also recommended, the noodle soup is made with homemade rice noodles, not something you see often. Pad Thai was flavorful and lots on the plate. They were leisurely about taking our orders, but the kitchen was fast and food arrived promptly. Will be back!

Stopped in for lunch, our service was great staff was friendly. Our food came quickly and was good. We brought our noodle loving toddler he loved it and made a mess. Staff was really friendly with him and had no problem with the mess he made (we tried our best to get the majority of the mess picked up). We will most likely return if in the area and hungry again.

I enjoyed the Bangkok Flat Noodles with Chicken. The others in my group thought their food was just alright. The staff was friendly. Clean and nice atmosphere.

What a nice surprise. Food tasted great - fresh ingredients, delicious spices. Delighted in their peanut sauce with just a mild kick. The spring rolls were some of the best I have ever eaten. I will return to try other dishes and get more spring rolls.

Since my original post I have returned twice. I do love their food in both offerings and preparation. I’ve brought others so they learn about this hidden gem.

Fantastic authentic Thai cuisine.

I had to go back THREE times and they still didn't get it right . I ordered a shrimp fried rice. But they gave me beef and claimed I said beef when I clearly said shrimp. When I went back to get my food replace they picked out the beef and only put four shrimp on top to fool people and it was the same exact rice with some beef still in it. After that they did not want to give me a refund and the lady who couldn't understand English argued with me for 15 minutes

I love this place. The food and service and prices are outstanding. It looks like a small “hole on the wall” place but a pleasant surprise awaits you. The dining area is quite large and cozy.

Ordered massaman curry combination... it was very bland, oily, and had ZERO peanuts in the ingredients. I could taste the coconut but thats it...Not massaman curry.... edible, but not what it was supposed to be.

This is located in an unassuming shopping center. Upon entering, I had high hopes for this place. After being seated, it took awhile to place my order. After the order, the food came out quickly. I had the Green Curry, and I don’t know why I ordered it as I normally get the Drunken Noodles. The food was good, but not great. I do want to come back to try a noodle dish. Overall service is okay. I really want to like this place since it’s a family-owned restaurant. Until next time!

AWFUL! Not authentic! It tasted like we got sauce from a jar poured onto some vegetables. AND the vegetables that were in my dish weren’t even listed on the menu. My dish was to come with green onion, basil, onion and I got GREEN BEANS, GREEN PEPPERS, RED PEPPERS and YELLOW PEPPERS! What a waste of money!!!
