I have eaten here many times, first time writing a review. Food is always flavorful and fantastic. This time I had the Crispy Fried Duck and my children had the chicken fried rice. If you are looking for a different change from normal Asian good or Chinese buffets, I highly recommend Chiang Mai!

This thai place is great. First timers but the food is excellent and cooked very well. I got spicy duck basil, duck basil is one of my favorite currys and they did fantastic. Prices are a little high for portion size but I will definitely be back. Great service.

Being seated prior to a rush, then not having my order taken after multiple customers came in after had theirs taken and even served appetizers, when I got the food served at my table it was cold, got no apology for the lack of service or cold food. The third time, I picked up my to go order and went to the car, and it had 3 pieces of very long hair in it. Went straight back in and quietly told them (to not cause a scene with other customers.) I was given a void receipt and no apology or anything. That was definitely last time eating here. I'm not sure what caused service to decline in the last year but I hope it gets better.

I ordered the cashew chicken which had little cashews in it. But I get it. That dish had decent flavor but can be forgettable. The fried wontons I got, looked like something from the Dillon's frozen section. I regret ordering them. I feel bad talking negatively about this place because the people there rely on the income to survive. I just wish flavor would have popped in my mouth, and it didn't.

This is THE place for Thai food in Wichita. It's a little off the beaten path, but worth the side quest. They're very helpful with choosing food if you're wanting to try something new.

Seems like some of the poorest reviews of this place have had similar complaints of hair in food. Disappointed because I have heard great things about this place.

Very poor service! Came here with some friends as we were in the city for a wedding. The old Thai lady was really nasty. They gave us food without any utensils and then when I dared to ask her for utensils she smacked them on my desk. Also, had to ask 3 times for my Thai iced tea. Your check doesn’t even come to your table so you have to wait in line with ppl who are doing Uber eats or DoorDash lol. Don’t come here!!! The only bright spot was the Indian lady she was very nice.

Good food. A solid 4 stars. I'm always happy when I can find my favorite dish from Thailand B5. Pad Pik Gai with Egg. It was good. There is no option to make it spicy (i.e., no levels) though. The L4. Egg Rolls were super hot and crispy. Definitely will order again. And the 2. Mango with Sticky Rice was good, but the rice portion was small and a little dry. But the mango was a good size. Overall, it was a good choice for the price. Ordered delivery through 3rd party app. Review based on food only.

Fried pompano with ginger sauce (we asked for sauce on side) was delicious. Perfectly fried yet still juicy. Sauce was perfect complement to fish. Had sticky rice and mango for dessert. Delicious. Service was quick and server attentive. We moved away 3 years ago and was the first place we wanted to go back to while here for a graduation. From outside of restaurant it doesn’t look so inviting but food is on point.

I got the Pad See Ew many times and it’s always amazing. Out of all the local Thai places in town I think they have the best noodle dishes by far. A great choice overall!

Absolutely LOVE this place! A friend brought me here a while back and everything on the men has been a 10/10. Staff is kind and service is quick. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is no frills but absolutely great in every way. Highly recommend!!!

Nice spot, the older lady (maybe an owner?) was swamped with orders when I came in, but she was quick and so nice. The food was outstanding, good portions and great price. I told her I wanted spicy, like the "real" spicy, knock me on my pockets, and she obliged (most places seem to pull back even if you ask for super spicy) very satisfied.

Chicken pad Thai could have used some more sauce in it. Luckily I had some peanut sauce in my fridge! After adding some of that and some chili oil it was so good. The mango sticky rice though!!!! STAR of the show! Almost wanted to call and order another order of it!! So fresh and not too sweet and the sauce they put on it was so good! Will definitely be back and make sure I order 2 orders of the mango rice 😋

Everything was wonderful. The egg rolls were hot and fresh and the chicken satay was delicious.

No idea where these good ratings come from, I've tried this place 2 times and have been anywhere from disappointed to very disappointed in the food. I'm not convinced Kansas even knows what good Thai food is. This last time I spent close to $50 on takeout to sample a little of everything, a mistake.

Curry had stale chicken - also overcooked and underseasoned. Soup was stretched too thin and underseasoned, veggie side was undercooked and swimming in anemic barely-garlic sauce. Spring rolls were sparsely filled and served with near flavorless chili sauce NOT peanut sauce. Throwing some chopped peanuts in a much cheaper chili sauce doesn't make it what any actual Thai person would consider peanut sauce. The iced tea was...acceptable.

Second visit and it was as good as the first. Delicious food and large portions. Waitress was friendly and efficient. The food is prepared non-spicy so everyone can enjoy but for those of us who prefer heat, like me, just ask for Thai hot (or just hot, medium, mild...your choice) when ordering. We will be going back!

We’re out of towners and were iffy it we wanted to try the place. Let me just tell you the place is very solid. The customer service was even better. We came in at lunchtime and they were swamped and made room for our group of 11. Wait time was very reasonable considering it was 12:30 and the place was swamped. Also a good sign of good food!

I got two ginger fish and man they were huge!! Shrimp spring rolls and tofu with mushrooms lemongrass and coconut yummy. Love this place been going here for 10 years❤️😃

The staff was super sweet. Seemed like a family owned business and man, did it show in their food. FABULOUS! 👌 Got the papaya salad and squid salad because I wanted both. Really generous portions. I brought leftovers home for a second meal!

First time visiting and I’m glad this place was recommended to me. Even though the waitress forgot to place our order, it was fixed very quickly and our food served fresh. My only complaint is that I live on the opposite side of town and won’t likely visit very often. This a great eatery!!

I usually get great food, but when given the wrong order, after watching mine being handed off to someone else, I felt unsure whether I would ever order there again. They should have checked the order before giving it to me.

Food presentation was good and reasonable prices for each portion. Will need to try more dishes, I didn't care too much for what I had regarding the flavor wise, but that's personal references.

This is definitely a family owned restaurant. Foods great service and atmosphere are lacking, but as long as I know what to expect it's good. Multiple vegan and vegetarian options for those who are looking for that. Be careful on your spice level as it depends on who's making the food. My experience sometimes medium is fine and sometimes medium is at my upper limit.

Fantastic little place. Utterly fantastic. They brought me an amazing tea I've never had before, and the food was so delicious. The vibe is very low key, but these people know what they're doing with the food. Came here on a whim during a road trip, and I'll definitely be returning sometime.

Holy moly, I was not expecting good Thai food upon moving to Wichita. I had the pad see ewe, maximum Thai spice, and it was delicious. Have gone a little hotter but the texture of everything was perfect. On top of that my friend had the fried rice, it was so good he had to order more to take home. Definitely a great little hidden gem.

I order sweet and sour chicken was disgusting and the beef and broccoli was greaser than MoFo fried rice I order and the rice with the other order were both mushy and bland crab Rangoons are store bought no flavor very disappointed with the food. Heard the place was good food but quite the opposite never ever will I recommend this place and I will warn people never to set a step or even consider spending there money at this place truly amazed how gross this place is did not even finish my food nor did my fiance they need to have a meeting about closing this place down and going into a different business because food is not in there future awful awful yuck yuck!!!!

Beef with Oyster Sauce - definitely did NOT have any oyster sauce flavor at all. Just tasted like cooked beef. Average portion with rice and veg. Although it wasn't horrible it certainly wasn't what I was expecting.

Amazing local Thai restaurant with quality food each visit. They give you great portions for the price too. I loved the pad thai, green curry, and panang curry as they were very flavorful with fresh ingredients. Even when I asked for thai hot which is the hottest spice in the restaurant, the dishes weren't really spicy but still very tasty! They also have the best Thai tea for a local restaurant in Wichita! The place is kept clean and the staff gives nice service.

Just flew in to Houston from out of state. Met a very nice and friendly person. Turns out she is going to be at and manage the Chiang Mai restaurant. After reading the reviews, I look forward to dining there with my family.

Order combination fried rice and spring rolls. When I walk in the older lady greeted me by saying what u order. No warming greeting. After I recieved my order I notice she only gave me one packet of soy sauce. I asked for additional which she gave me two more packet then went in the back. I waited for her to come back to the front so I could ask for more due to three packets not being enough. I saw another woman and ask her which she gave me five more packet which total to 8 packet. When the older lady saw that the woman gave me more packet she said wow in a negative tone. So I ask her was that a issue being that I had a big plate of rice and her three packet that she gave me wasn’t t enough. She was gonna charge me one dollar extra for the five addition packets. Smh never have I been to a restaurant where they would charge a dollar for additional packets. I was more irritated with her demeanor more than anything. I will not spend my dollars there no more due to her poorly customer service. The food was good but her attitude sucked smh

Ate here on 8/17. The food was decent. My issue is we were told the total was $19.88. We paid with a card and left cash tip on the table. The next morning my card was processed for a $21.88 charge. So the server went and added an extra $2 tip to our card receipt. I went to the store Thursday to ask about it and the older lady said she will have to find her receipts for the day to check, they must be at her house she said and she will call once she found them. Friday I got a call to tell me she needed to go to her house to find the receipt again. Now here it is Sunday and still no word back about the server illegally adding a tip to the receipt. Even if it’s only $2 that is literally theft.
