(NB: I eat a LOT of Thai food and am pretty picky with the authentic dishes.) This place isn't the best in the greater metro area, but if you are in KCK and need a quick lunch it's worth stopping in. Service is excellent and they seem to be doing good business on a random weekday pop-in. Definitely grab a spice rack for the table, as their heat meter isn't traditional Thai level. I'd like to go back and see if I can find something more exciting than what I ordered this time. Overall 3.5 stars.
I didn't take any more pictures of everything we got. If you are from the Dotte show, the love. We had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, so fresh, absolutely delicious. I had the Naree fried rice with chicken huge serving. They are a hidden gem for sure . I for sure will go again with family.
My husband had the sweet and sour chicken it was perfect, not overly breaded like some other places. You absolutely can see the care and love they put into everything.
Ok Dotte!!!!! It seemed easier to review what’s NOT in the Dotte when it comes to cuisine! But I stand corrected! LOL!! I was in Wyandotte Kansas due to work looking for a decent place to eat lunch that doesn’t have a drive-thru and saw this place in my peripherals!!! Based on their reviews I decided to give them a chance and I am glad I did!!! I love trying new cuisines and baaaaaaaaaby that Basil Fried Rice (add protein, I did shrimp) was something special!!!!!!! I also tried the spicy crab salad and it did not disappoint! The dine in area is small but menu is overwhelming with choices, and they make up for the dining experience in the flavorful food!!!! I closed my eyes and nobody could tell me I wasn’t in Thailand!!!!!!!
The sushi was very good. Skip the egg drop and hot & sour soup- never had a hot & sour soup that is sweet. The Thai basil fried rice with chicken was savory and spicy. We normally eat spicy foods and thought would be conservative and order the #2 spice level out of 5 to make sure we can handle it….we barely did! Would order a level lower than you’re used to, they can give you the spice powder you can add to your food as much as you can tolerate.
Overall, pleased with the find. First time going there and would go back again.
Note, I'm a crazy pho eater that has to have pho from all over. I travel far and in between the states. Eating from LA, Vegas, MN, WI, MI, IL, OH, Manhattan, FI, KS, MS, GA, canada, etc. I make reviews after tasting their pho. I know what pho is good and what is fake! Being Hmong, I try not to be bias, "only Vietnamese people can cook pho! The restaurant started from a Vietnamese owner."
Naree kitchen thai and sushi
I got a recommendation from a friend about this place. Not bad. Very busy. Lots of Hmong people.
They serve your typical Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese food. Some Hmong food too. Pho broth is pretty decent but the Hmong workers don't know how to properly present the pho correctly, or just don't care. Pho presentation is key! My granddaughter had the chicken and rice combo which had great flavor. Sticky rice is served with most combos! My son, daughter, and I had the pho combo, which was good. No issues. We also had the Pad Thai which was good. Laos papapya was ok too.
I have one negative: that door. Omg. With the cold draft, it gets pretty cold. Man. The constant open and close of the door is definitely effecting the heat bill. Build a small wall to reduce the negative air, help reduce the heat cost, and provide a warm atmosphere for the customers. In the summer months, it must be bad for the AC too.
All in all, nice decor. Good workers. Happy environment. Will gladly come again.
Lastly, the large pho bowl is huge!
Highly recommended
So I had friends visiting from Texas and they wanted good food. I love to try new things so I Google Best Thai food and we have it a try. Not only was the staff super friendly and so welcoming the food was so delicious. I will be going back with family and friends in MO. My Texas friends said they they come back they will be going here again.
Thank you!! Delicious!!!
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I specifically ordered a vegetarian tofu Pad Thai, which clearly means no meat or fish. However, my dish was served with fish sauce. When I politely pointed this out to the waitress, she responded with passive-aggressive behavior but assured me she would bring the correct dish. Unfortunately, the replacement still contained fish sauce, so I chose to let it go.
I was hungry so I ordered a veggie roll, expecting to dine in. However, the waitress brought it in a to-go container along with the check, without me requesting takeout. When I asked about it, Daenna the waitress became even more aggressive and visibly annoyed. Her attitude throughout the entire experience was rude, dismissive, and condescending.
I escalated the issue to the manager, but instead of addressing my concerns, they defended her actions. It was clear that customer service is not a priority here.
Overall, the service was unprofessional and disrespectful, making for an unpleasant dining experience. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good service or proper attention to dietary requests. If you do get to go this place, avoid Daenna the waitress at all cost. She might get angry at you for doing her job.
I’ve been here once before not had an issue but decided to come back and the lady at the register is not very friendly at all. Need better customer service
Food was good! Not my favorite Thai in the area, however, sushi was great if you’re looking for the basics.
This place is second to none. We started out with the sampler appetizer which was delicious. It had egg rolls, crab wontons, tempura shrimp, and fried gyoza. These are the best egg rolls I’ve ever come across, crunchy yet flaky and delicious. I enjoyed mine with sriracha for a kick of spice. We also enjoyed the spring rolls that came with the most delicious peanut sauce. Next we tried several different sushi rolls (Spicy Shrimp tempura roll, Crab crunch roll, California roll and Samurai roll) each had something amazing to offer and all are to die for, my favorite is the samurai roll. Bob is a master of magic in how he creates these rolls and the sauces on top of the sushi rolls are made fresh and are simply delicious. Our entree was yum beef (medium spice) with sticky rice and the Thai papaya salad (medium spice). First the yum beef, the collected flavors of marinated steak mixed with shallots, lime, mint, cilantro and green onions topped with the spice and the sticky rice will have your taste buds thanking you for the experience. This is a finger food that I ate with my hands a pinch of the meat with a pinch of the sticky rice. The papaya salad was incredible as well with the snake beans, Asian eggplant, peanuts and etc. What an amazing combination of flavors I experienced in one setting. The service was amazing from the time we walked in until the time we left. Their attention to detail in the service, food and the overall experience shows that they care about each of their customers. This is a small business off the beaten path but is well worth indulging in. Next time you’re in KCK make sure you stop by, you can thank me later.
Seats were nice they even had gluten free choices the food was delicious music is nice and peaceful when I dropped my chop sticks they got me a new pair before I could ask in general I recommend this place for sushi the pho is inexpensive but my mom let me try some of hers it was delicious do recommend
Food was great!
A hidden gem!
Good combo rice would definitely go back
Very good pho! Prices are excellent as well.
Tonight I was really feeling like pho. I have only eaten Sushi here, but yesterday a friend mention pho and I had to have it tonight. I had the beef pho and spring rolls. I took it to go because it was late, when I got home I grabbed a big bowl and assembled the meal. Awesome food. I will be back here, especially for pho when the weather gets colder. And the employees here are always friendly and helpful.
Ordered the Yellow Curry and Seafood Pho. Both were amazingly delicious. Looking forward to my next return to this place.
Somewhat smaller portions than expected, but still very good and reasonably priced. Quality of ingredients is decent but could be better. Excellent service. Overall highly satisfied.
I love this place. Their fresh spring rolls are amazing. Service is friendly and attentive.
A decent thai place for a reasonable price for KC, plus the thai iced coffee was nice. Did not try the sushi.
I've only ordered take out but it's great sushi and general tsos was good too
The food is GREAT and the price is reasonable.
If it is closer to me, I probably will be there weekly.
(NB: I eat a LOT of Thai food and am pretty picky with the authentic dishes.) This place isn't the best in the greater metro area, but if you are in KCK and need a quick lunch it's worth stopping in. Fabulous food I go back often service is great but nothing special and the atmosphere is plain.
My kansas family go to. Honestly it'd not bad but also no great. It's pretty average minus the sushi which was amazing.
Great food, nice atmosphere, good service.
i just ate here for the first time because i was CRAVING thai food. i had beef pho and my mom had phad woonsen with chicken, it came out fast and very delicious. we also had the spring rolls and it was very classic and hit the spot! big portions… i have enough pho for tomorrow!
Great food and great price!
First time trying this place & their pineapple curry & fried rice , delicious! I’ll definitely be back for more
Awesome service! Meal was delicious.
Nice little place to get some really good sushi or thai food. Good service and good prices too.
Yellow curry couldn’t be made without fish sauce. And I was a bother to ask which veggies came in the vegan pad Thai and fried rice. They wouldn’t make pad thai with veggies and a side of tofu.
What a wonderful little surprise, this place is. Fresh sushi and a wonderful coconut curry are all I've had and all I want.
Thank you.
Good green curry!
It was my first time here. I wanted to like this place more. I ordered the Thai Spring Rolls and the Massaman Curry. I wanted a Sweet Tea, but they don't have Sweet Tea. Strike one. The Rolls were good. The Curry though, lacked heat and flavor. I was not even offered my desired degree of heat. Mild, Medium, Hot, Thai Hot and so forth. Strike two. Furthermore, the Curry had tons more Sweet Potato bites than Meat. Mine was the combo with Beef, Chicken and Shrimp. In spirit of the origins of Massaman Curry, I didn't feel it was the right thing to do to add Pork. But I didn't want Tofu in it either. What meat was in there wasn't enough of it. Besides, I would've liked some Mango with Sticky Rice as a dessert to finish things off, but they didn't even have that. Strike three. I guess considering KCK didn't have practically any other Asian places besides about a dozen or so Chinese places. So I guess having one Thai/Sushi places would suffice for the interim. But I feel this place should step up their offerings in their Thai cuisine before I go back and give them a second chance.

I had the general tao chicken fried rice egg rolls and crab wontons. Everything was fresh and delicious. I will say God does everything for a reason because I was trying to get Chinese food from a different establishment but it's Tuesday so said establishment was closed. But I had a craving and had to fulfill it. This will be my new spot. Thank you keep up the good work 😊
The best noodles!
Great service food but long lines as it is very popular!!

Everything I've tried has been excellent from sushi to curry
Update but not a negative review. Just a suggestion to offer delivery. Mar 2024
My favorite place to eat at in Kansas City, KS. Today we tried Tom Yum noodles and it was so good.
Note, I'm a crazy pho eater that has to have pho from all over. I travel far and in between the states. Everything about this place, I absolutely love.. The Beef Penang Curry US My Ultimate Favorite 😍. The Pho Is Also incredible. The spring rolls were nice a fresh. I Jussssst love this place.. While Dining in we was also very relaxed and comfortable.
Food was delicious. Place was very nice and quiet. Service was excellent. Already planning the next time I'm going back. Great place to take anybody for a good meal.
Very small but absolutely delicious! I had sushi rolls and a lemon drop, my husband had shrimp tempura and honey sesame chicken with fried rice. Large portions and soooo good. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend! We dined at 3:30 and it was packed.
I’ve been wanting to stop in and finally made it. The dining area is smaller than most Thai restaurants. I went during lunch and the place was packed which is a good sign IMO. I was sat in less than five mins. Menu has many good options. I started with the soft spring rolls. Taste was what you’d expect, but the peanut dipping sauce was the best I’ve had. If they use it on their Pad Thai then it has to be 🔥I went with the Basil fried rice and Hot on the spice level. I was impressed with the dish. The flavor was above average from what I’ve had in the past. The spice level was right where it needed to be. Hot on the taste buds and made my nose run, perfection. The service was great, especially for how busy they were. I highly recommend stopping in. I will be back!
Muy rico y con precios accesibles
Best penang curry I've ever had. The long Thailand iced tea was absolutely delicious. The dynamite roll & drunken noodles were also outstanding.
Blah...
Very delicious food here! 🔥
TIPS SCAM: So I ate there the other night. I went to the Counter and got my $18.50 Lo Mein dish TO GO. Therefore, I did not feel the need to leave a tip. I am NOT too happy about the fact that one the wait staff took it upon herself to temporarily TIP HERSELF FROM MY DEBIT CARD! Yes! Probably, I've heard...so that they can APPEAR to have more Tips at the end of the night so that they can take home more cash each night, which is essentially stealing from their boss. They add an amount of approx $2-4 onto what you ACTUALLY told them to swipe it for. Then, they go ahead and swipe for that extra and take it back off within the next one or two days. When I checked my bank account after I got home (which they don't expect you to do so soon I guess, I saw the theft abd drove right back up there about it. I returned immediately and politely asked the staffer who had rang me up about it. She played dumb and pretended it was some kind of recent glitch that just just started occurring. She reassured me that when the transaction clears that it'll be my original amount. This shows that she KNEW exactly how the scam works. She pretty much lied to me just to appease me for the monent. I then called my Bank and she tried to explain it as if it was OKAY for a company to toy with your money. Not to mention the fact that the bank rep contradicted herself: First she said it was the Card, then she said it was the restaurant. Either way it made no sense, and is WRONG. If you're that desperate and greedy for Tips, then you should get a 2nd or 3rd Jod rather than stealing from Customers, even if only for a day or two! It is NOT RIGHT to toy with people's money and debit cards. This is very sneaky and disgusting. But the Food was great! If I ever DO eat in there again I'll be SURE to pay with CASH ONLY! --fb
Great selection of sushi and great service.
The crab wonton was delicious. Good portions. Very reasonably priced. Calm atmosphere. Serving staff was very attentive. Looking forward to going back to try more of their sushi options.
Out of ALL of the Thai restaurants in KCK/KCMO area, this one is the best and most close to authentic Thai cuisine. If you are looking for good Thai food, this place is the one.
Very nice service. Curry and stir fry way to go.
First time here! Hidden gem with really good noddles, sushi and cheap pho! Highly recommend trying it out.
We bought some gyoza (both steamed and fried were very delicious) and crabrangoon wontons (too much cream cheese) various sushi rolls (Alaska, Royalty, Spicy Tuna) Salmon & spicy tuna nigiri (not pictured) were all melt in your mouth amazing and presentation was top tier. We also ordered the Panang curry and that was bursting with flavor! I can't wait to eat here again.
Food is always amazing and service is too notch
Good food.
Delicious food, generous portions, prompt and attentive service
First off, the inside of this place is amazing. I love all the greenery🌱🪴. The menu has a variety of different foods. We got a lot of dishes lol. Really enjoyed the cucumber salad🥗 . The cucumber underneath was a new twist I haven’t seen before. And it tasted amazing. I got the beef pho 🍜 . It was not traditional. It was very very clover heavy. I didn’t like that. The beef was not the thin slices. Usually it comes raw and you cook it with the broth and noodles but this time it was thick chewy beef 🥩 . Which was not bad. It still tasted pretty good but just not traditional. The large was effing hugeeeee okay. My god. The medium is normally what I think is a large lol. Everything else was great!
Reasonable price, good food. Have been a handful of times now and service is always prompt.
Yellow curry is absolutely amazing … crab wontons are also good ..
After a long, difficult work day, going to Naree Thai was the perfect comfort. I love curry and the Massaman sweet potato curry was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The waitress was very sweet and attentive as well.
Really good food fast service good clean environment.
Three orders of sushi, good my but Amazing
Deli
Got the Thai hot curry. Delicious, but if you want spicy, might ask em to kick it up some notches. Tastes very mild to me, but each person is different.
Crab Rangoon was awesome!!
Unfortunately won't be able to comment on the food. Called to ask about how 2 of their dishes were prepared and the female that answered was incredibly short and rude. We were looking forward to trying a new place but I'd rather spend my money somewhere that treats their customers with kindness.
Overall, pleased with the find. First time going there and would go back again.
Love this place! The food is always great! There are only a few that my wife craves for. This is one of the places.
Naree if my favorite place ever. One of the best places to find pho, the Thai spring rolls are huge, the crab rangoon is more square filled with the crab creme, the sushi options are endless and tasty, and you have to get a Thai tea to round out the experiance. Staff is always friendly and willing to get you exactly what you need.
Wonderful!!!
I’ve liked this place for a long time and am sad to give them low reviews. The food is good but they stopped serving the yum yum crispy chicken and that was what I enjoyed the most. Haven’t returned since they took it off the menu. If it comes back, so will I.
4.5 food was very flavorful mmm mmm mmm but was not enough protein in the fried rice
This place has the most awesome pork chop at a great price. But all of their food is great. We really like eating here
We came at 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday, and they refused us dining service. What a disappointment as the closing time is 9 p.m. 👎
Little hole in the wall restaurant. Great food. Only place I go for my sushi. My daughter loves their pho. Best generals chicken I've ever had. It doesn't taste like the kind you get at a chinese restaurant. Service with a smile everytime.
Good food
Massoman curry! Always!
Food is fresh and delicious! Thai or sushi. We love this restaurant.
We had lunch here. Food was great
Their servers are always so sweet and soft spoken. Their food is consistent and delicious! Definitely a good place to stop by and eat. And plus side is, its a Family friendly atmosphere.
I love Naree so much! Try the dynamite rolls and the thai tea!
I had a bad experience with the waitress because she was short, and pushed me to order really fast, she took the menu out of my hands while ordering. Waitress was annoying when I decided to order more food to go and did not take my payment as I asked her using cash and card. When I get the bill and paid, she was rude and dropped the bill on the table and told me I did not give her a tip, with the same attitude. Waitress asked me to leave her a tip on the table before we leave. She was looking at me in a rude way until I left
Been going for years getting the same meal, Wonton Noodle Soup and they would substitute the shrimp for beef or pork. I recently went May 2023 and some new server I've never seen wouldn't substitute shrimp for a couple pieces of beef or pork. Wanted me to order a full size of meat to substitute the shrimp. We walked out and went to Poke Ramen at the Legends. Food is halfway decent though.
The food was delicious, I got a sushi roll as well as the orange chicken and Pad Thai. The atmosphere was very calming and the music was nice to listen to. The staff were nice and very efficient, I got my food in no time but it wasn't that busy.
So I have to say, this is hands down the best food in Kansas. We go here at least 3 times a month.
Like most local "oriental" restaurants, they add their sauce and rice to prepared frozen meat. Naree's has good sauce
Great place for lunch. We went with a group and tried several dishes; you can't go wrong. We will be back.
So amazingly fresh and delicious!
Always always always delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Been going here religiously since they’ve opened and so has all my friends and family. It’s conveniently in the heart of kck and such a gem to the community. Some of the most authentic food you will find in the kc area.
While on a work trip, we decided to give this place a go because it had a little bit of everything on the menu. From sushi, Chinese, Japanese, pho and everything else. The pho was watery, and did not come with a plate of veggies like most traditional pho houses. The meat was chewy, and not cut thin, but may have been the beef for the beef fried rice. Overall experience was lovely though, with great waitresses and the food coming out fast.
Noodles didn’t have any flavor and chicken chewy and taste frozen. Thai tea also tastes like it’s made from a just add water powder mix.
Very nice servers !
They’re great!
So good! I don't even want to eat anywhere else ever again. So good!
Quiet Asian restaurant that I’ve gotten multiple times now. Definitely a great spot. Food is FANTASTIC.
Delicious tasty food
Food is so good! Curry is great and some of the best pho Ive had in a long time! We were only in town 4 days and went back a second time because the food was amazing
Really enjoy coming here. Trying to work my way thru trying every sushi roll. Great people working here and great conversation.
Stopped by because I didn’t want McDonald’s. I was very impressed great service. Very fast and delicious. I had a Ahi Roll and Udon noodles combination. It was Thai Spicy!! I loved it!! I will comeback!
I ordered naree shushi , thai tea and padthai. Didn't wait that long then I ordered my pad thai spicy scale 4 I didn't expected it to be that spicy then the waitress asked me if i the food was okay , I told her that I underestimated it so she changed it out for me. and honestly the pad thai I ate that day was so good!!!!!! after they had it closed for a little while the food is better. I always order here and I can say it's the best!!!!!!!tried some from diff places but naree kitchen is the best for me. I just wish they have boba. LOL
I have no complaints! Food was AMAZING!!!!!
I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. The area it's located in doesn't seem like somewhere you'd find delicious Thai food, so imagine my surprise when the sushi was great as well! We had the drunken noodles, Tom yum noodle soup, and an Alaska roll. It was all amazing and I cant wait to come back.
Ordered vegetables with cashews. They added multi colored bell peppers that were not in the description. I am allergic. Received a couple of cashews. Very disappointed. This was not our first order from them. Carryout is not the same as dine in. Obviously working for the tip, not the return business.
My husband has been on the search for some Tom Yum Noodle Soup since since moving from Washington state (which has delicious food). We’ve tried various other places and were left deeply disappointed. Naree, however, has delivered and he has been wanting to go back again. I had their shrimp tempura roll and another roll with shrimp tempura in it and it was absolutely delicious. It wasn’t too heavy and had the right amount of things. Their lao-thai style papaya salad was delicious too. can’t wait to go again!
