This is a brand new sushi joint just south of Broad Ripple. A family member brought it up recently and we decided to stop in.
Came at around 5:30 PM on a Friday and they weren’t busy. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our table. We started with the Chicken Gyoza and the fried spicy pork balls as an appetizer. All of that was pretty good!
I got the Crab Fried Rice as my entree. I was overall impressed! The rice was flavorful, the veggies were cooked perfectly and the crab meat was juicy.
Now for why I deducted a star: It took at least 15 minutes for half of our party to get our drinks. We did notify our waitress and she got them right then. Additionally, the crab fried rice had a bit too much onion for my liking.
But overall, this was still a good experience! I’ll be back.
Just discovered a hidden gem in Broad Ripple—Ka-Ne Sushi Thai Fusion—and wow, what an experience!
We kicked things off with Crab Rangoon Dip and Chicken Gyoza, and let me tell you, that Gyoza sauce was out-of-this-world flavorful. The Crab Rangoon Dip? There simply aren’t earthly words to describe how delicious it was—just trust me on this one!
For the main course, we had Pad Thai, which was decent on its own, but once I drizzled that Gyoza sauce over it? Chef’s kiss!
The vibe is cozy and chill, perfect for a relaxed night out. Reservations aren’t required, but if you’re set on dining here, you might want to plan ahead just in case.
They have a fully stocked bar, and while I didn’t indulge (New Year’s cutbacks and all), the cocktails I saw were definitely calling my name.
If you’re into Thai food and sushi, this spot is a must-visit. You won’t regret it!

Sometimes you need to be reminded what exceptional tastes like–that's when you go to Kane. The sushi is phenomenal, the staff is friendly–the crab rangoon dip borders on life-changing.
I've been four times since they opened just a few months ago, and I'll continue to go back as often as my wallet will allow me to.
The food was fine, but the restaurant was severely understaffed and the service was poor. The sushi roles and Tom Yum soup were very good, the Pad Thai fine but bland. However, there was only one person responsible for hosting and serving all tables in a half full restaurant. We waited over 20 minutes after being seated to be served water, waited 30 minutes after ordering to get ate food, and never received any of the items we requested from our server (soy sauces for to sushi, and extra spoon so we could share the soup, or limes for the Pad Thai).
We were headed to a Thai place downtown bc nowhere in Midtown can compete, but we decided to try KA-NE since it was close and it snowed! The atmosphere is great, service was wonderful, it's clean, and the FOOD!!! Seriously so good. Everything tasted fresh and not drenched in sauce and overcooked. The wine pours were hefty and the soup and salad starters were delicious and did not skimp on ingredients. Main dishes were so flavorful and tasty. Will for sure be back! Such a gem in Midtown ❤️
This is our favorite Thai AND Sushi place in Indy. The crispy duck curry is SO GOOD. I don’t know how they can make two very different cuisines and nail both, but they’re very consistent and the food is delicious. There’s no close second. Maybe Bodhi.
Saw the menu online and had to give it a try. Went tonight for my birthday and was not disappointed. Tuna Tartar appitizer was well portioned and delicious, wonton chips were light and crispy. Entres of soft shell crap green curry and chicken yellow curry were equally good. Will definitely be going back soon to try the sushi. Limited lunch hours so check website before heading for lunch.

Great Sushi, pretty good Thai food. The Pad Thai is pretty authentic, and they have Khao Soi which is a huge plus.

Very nice space near enough to Broadripple to get to and enjoy a creative Asian/Thai menu including options for vegetarians and omnivores alike! Beautiful presentation of food and a courteous staff add to the experience. My friends and I look forward to eating here again. Curbside parking.
New venue.
Reservations recommended at this time.
Server staff average, friendliness not at a premium. Took some time to order.
The food was excellent.
The mushroom roll was fantastic..
Fabulous food. Friendly staff. Lucked out 1/2 price wine. Will be going back

Food is delicious, and service is great!
I have absolutely been blown away by KA-NE Sushi. I have been to many of Indys sushi establishments and there are many similarities. The mixture of menu options that KA-NE brings have been a blast to my taste buds. The Duck Curry has become my favorite so far. Also, I have enjoyed the Cherry Blossom Roll. The display of the food is absolutely gorgeous as well. I have been thoroughly pleased with every visit!
Had a great experience dining here I would highly recommend this place
Flavors abound!!! Great service!
All around a very nice dinner. Had a variety of their food including Pad Thai, sushi, soup, and a few other items. Staff was friendly and the sushi chef came out to say hello and check up on everything. Look forward to going back.
Wow. The appetizer was crispy and delicious. My son's beef pad Thai was generously portioned, delicate, and delicious.
I had the crispy, spicy duck withred curry sauce with crispy vegetables and rice, and it was amazing

Great Thai food and nice atmosphere. Definitely better than most Thai restaurants.

Great food and service.
Food was delicious. Had the Crab Ragoon dip, ck Curry puff, and two sushi rolls. Everything was delicious, service was impeccable, and location is beautiful.
I have been a few times now and each visit has exceeded expectations. I have gotten their sushi and pad thai and both were delicious and well executed. The service was friendly and efficient.
Delicious food and really liked the atmosphere. Loved the mussamun curry! They have good deals on lunch specials too.
Finally! Delicious sushi in Meridian Kessler 😋
We walked by their soft opening and were quickly invited to join! Very good customer service, and food was so tasty! Also, they were so sweet to our pup. Will definitely be coming again
The atmosphere, the ambience and the staff was definitely inviting. We didn't know it was a soft opening but it was worth the stop. This is a perfect place for date night or even to grab drinks and quick bites before heading to another event.
