One of the best lunches I have had in Fort Wayne since moving in 2019. Food looks, and more importantly tastes very fresh. Wife and I split the Pad Thai and Fried Rice. Lots and lots of fresh ingredients in both, not just one or two additional items to the rice and noodle. For sure best Asian food we have had in the Fort. Already want to go back and try more of the menu. Well done to the Chef and owner.

Tried the pad Thai spicy level 3 and 4 (medium and hot) I think this is the best pad Thai in town! Everything here I have tried has been good so far! I will probably do the drunken noodles next time but it is hard to pass up the chance for the pad Thai! Friendly fast service I love supporting a family business with incredible food. Finding authentic Thai food is hard. This small family run restaurant did an amazing job recreating the flavors that I know and love. The dishes that stood out to me were the Thai sausages, boat noodles, and especially the papaya salad. Difficult enough finding papaya salad that isn't westernized, but they also made the Laos variant too? I easily see myself coming back soon enough.

Another hidden gem I've never had that is 200% worth trying.

Amazing food. They don't mess around with ordering "very hot" or "extra spicy". I was coughing and sniffing and burning my lips and mouth...which is exactly what I wanted. I've been to about 3/4 of the Thai food restaurants in town and this place nails it. I love hot spicy food and when I order it extra spicy at other restaurants It's never enough. But this place... it was more than enough. And the flavors were great and the owner came out and said hello. I will be back. I love Thai food so much I traveled to Thailand several years ago for 10 days. I heard she grows her own Thai chili peppers.

This place deserves way more than 5 stars. Service was kind and prompt, and the food was absolutely delicious. Prices were extremely reasonable considering the portions we received; the lunch specials are an even better deal! We ordered the crab rangoons, pad thai, panang curry and chicken lo mein, all of which were fresh and fantastic. The crab rangoons were crispy and well seasoned, with a really yummy sauce to accompany. The panang curry was flavorful and heavy on the aromatics, which I loved! The pad thai was also really well balanced, with a great sweet/sour profile. Overall I will absolutely back, this place deserves to be busy!

Amay Kitchen is absolutely hands down the number 1 restaurant for me to get Authentic Asian food ! The service is very friendly, you get awesome portions with the money you pay for, and it will always be my favorite restaurant to go to!

Wonderful tiny Thai restaurant. Mom is the chef. Very casual, friendly service. We had Tom Yum Soup, medium. So comforting, and delicious with lots of mushrooms and herbs. Also Shrimp Lo Mein, lots of shrimp and veg. Oolong tea. Highly recommend!

Worst Thai I’ve ever had. Got the crab Rangoon and it was so chewy i couldn’t even eat it. The filling tasted pretty good, but I would never get it again because of the wanton. Got the pad se ew and it was not that great. Edible with some moderate flavor, but there were so many broccoli stalks and barely any florets.

The mango sticky rice and pad Thai were so good—fresh and full of flavor! The seats were really cushiony, which made it extra comfortable. The staff were super helpful and welcoming. Definitely a great spot for good food and a relaxing meal!

Among the best Thai food anywhere. We stopped in Fort Wayne of a night while passing through the area. We got May Kitchen's food as takeout for dinner and it was so good we got another batch for the road the next day. Appears to be a wonderful little family run place in the best sense, although I didn't inquire about that.

We had the Pad Thai, Kway Teow and spring rolls. All were outstanding! My 8yr old daughter tried all the food for the first time and loved it all too. Great food and great service! Will definitely be back and recommend.

I arrived on the day she made the favorite Burmese recipe Mohinga. Nothing could be better than to get this dish coming all the way from central TX. Very generous serving and I enjoyed it very much. I read about her before I visited Ft Wayne and we got there wee early but we waited till the shop opened. Because we came from so far away, she gave us an appetizer for free. Also got the Pandan hot drink for free. Not only the food was great, I got to visit with her in our language. There was another. Customer who was not familiar with our foods and I noticed Amay spent time to explain and that lady ordered about 4 dishes. I even helped her as she wanted to put those dishes on her Facebook page. I highly recommend her delicious food to all! I believe my husband also enjoyed his dish very much and wrote his own review.

Their Burmese foods are authentic! I always come for their nan gyi thoke, they season it so well. The chicken soup does not come along with it unless you ask. This is the best southeast Asian food in Fort Wayne. If you like authentic, full flavored dishes I suggest everything on the menu. If you grew up with the plain places that sell Mac and cheese and fried chicken and need a new taste in your life welcome to Amay. I used to live on the west coast and had a Thai / Burmese place I loved but this place is by far the best I’ve had in the U.S. I highly suggest the tea leaf salad for something new (eat it slowly and with a group or you will begin to sweat); and every soup they offer is delicious. The boat noodles are a good gateway to their flavors, and if you want to try something that just warms the soul I suggest the Tom Kha Gai with shrimp or chicken. This place even removes the shrimp tail so you can enjoy the full meal. And you can never go wrong with Tom Yum Soup. I have ordered their soups so often I think about them in my dreams. Also if you do want chicken wings, theirs are bomb - just crunchy and delicious and you don’t even need a dipping sauce.

4th time ordering from this place. I've ordered the Thai boat soup beef, medium. Best cure especially after a night of drinking. We normally do either door dash or grub hub. I'm obsessed with their sticky rice. They were able to get some sticky rice into my last order cause it wasn't on the menu on the apps.

I had Nam Tok with beef - Thai chili, onion, fish sauce, lime juice, vegetable, lemon, roasted ground rice (khao khua) and kaffir lime leaves, served with sticky rice. It's amazing! First time coming here and the owner is the cutest thing ever! She grows her own fresh veggies like the Thai chili peppers and bean sprouts. She definitely put her love into cooking as if we were her own kids. Her son was our server and he was very friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable on educating us his culture.

I went to compliment the chef, and she came out and shared that many of the vegetables, peppers, spices, etc come from her garden, and she had just freshly picked the ingredients for my dish that morning. The food here is absolutely delicious!! As I expected, since the owner and cooks are previously from a place I used to frequently visit, Mahnin. The interior is clean and cozy, with very helpful and friendly staff. I was greeted with a smile and although I ordered takeout, I was offered complementary hot tea while I waited. I ordered the samosas appetizer, a favorite! As delicious as I remember 😋 I opted for Pad Khee Mao with chicken, level 4 spicy. It was absolutely delicious! Wide noodles, tomatoes, garlic, veggies, lots of Thai basil 🤤 The menu is full of delicious curries, soups, and noodle dishes for both vegetarians and carnivores alike. I will definitely be returning soon and eventually trying everything on the menu, which I'm sure is all fantastic! If you're looking for truly authentic Asian cuisine and aren't afraid to step outside the box and do something a little different, please add this to your list of stops. You won't be disappointed 😁

I had the PadKraPao and it was delicious. My friends had the PadSeeEuw and the PadThai which were also really tasty. The TomKahGai soup and Coconut Noodle soup were also very good. My husband had the panang curry and said it was the best Thai curry he’s ever had. The staff was also extremely friendly and service was fast. Will definitely go there again!

I got the Thai tea with chicken pad see euw. Pleasantly surprised that they had lunch specials even on Sunday! I ended up to be so full, I needed to go on a walk afterwards. It came with an egg roll which was a fun surprise as well. Inside there's about five tables with 4 chairs. I wouldn't plan to have a party of 50 but if you're looking for takeout or you want to take a special someone out on a date, this will be a fun place. The food portions were pretty big. The only negative that I can think of is that it's right off of Clinton so coming from the north could be a little difficult. They do have their own parking. It's definitely worth trying once.

Food is great, service is great. Ask for the organic dried hot pepper for some tasty heat! Super delicious!

I just found this restaurant by chance - driving by. I've eaten there about 5 times. It has always been really good. It tastes like Thailand. The papaya salad, chicken and sticky rice is very good. Just recently I ventured out and tried the drunken noodles. They use non dry noodles that taste like dumplings - so good. And the beef was a high quality with a sauce that was spot on. Definitely going to return. Friendly servers as well. Very polite to me.

Food is top notch Thai, Burmese, Asian fusion. If your looking to eat some authentic flavors and quality food then stop in and check it out. Super humble and delicious place!

Tea leaf salad was something we had never had before and will definitely order again. Excellent drunken noodles and Thai hot dishes were exactly that! Delicious, strongly recommend!!

Best Thai/Burmese food in town! Been there three times and love all my dishes! The coconut noodle soup were creamy and yummy! The service were amazing and she provided us free egg rolls! Will definitely come back soon with friends.

Visiting Fort Wayne and this restaurant was near where we stayed. Unbelievably good food in a humble atmosphere with very nice service.

We ordered Beef Lo Mein Med Spicy, Chicken Lo Mein and Pineapple Curry Med Spicy. Everything was absolutely delicious! My Pineapple Curry had tons of fresh pineapple chunks and great full flavor. The heat was intense but only amplified the taste.
We would definitely go there again.

Stopped here last week and forgot to leave a review. Best Thai food I've had in a long, long time, quite possibly the best ever. I will absolutely be back whenever I have the chance!

Food was incredible

I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants in the Mid West and this one is one of the best I’ve ever been to. Food portions are big and the taste is amazing. We even loved the meal so much that we got some extra food as a to go. The people that work there are very nice. It was very clean. Even the bathrooms were clean. You can tell the business takes pride in being Top Notch. Thank you!

The best Thai food I've had! The service was courteous and attentive. The portions were generous. The prices were reasonable. The dining room was small and simple, but I like that.

The moment you walk in the restaurant, everything looks clean and aesthetic. The coconut noodle soup I ordered was delicious. It was creamy, sweet, nutty, and full of flavor. The employees were very friendly and nice. Overall it is an amazing restaurant!
