First time here. Nice open restaurant, got seated pretty quick. Ordered, took a bit to get orders and get the food out. Complimentary soup was great. Fried spring rolls were okay. Thai iced tea was very good. Then we had coconut soup which was very watery, lacking seasoning and the usual taste. It seemed like they could have had more coconut milk as well, ours seemed very lite on the coconut milk. The beef waterfall was very safe, lacking that usual flavor and crisp the meat is tossed in, as well as the meat could’ve been crisped or cooked a bit longer. Pad Thai was not the best, consistency but lacked that characteristic sweet and tang balance that plays off each other the way pad Thai is supposed to. Overall good portions of everything but the tastes and flavor profiles just kept falling short for us.

This is now on my short list of favorite restaurants across the country. The staff is awesome with great personalities, food comes out fast, flavors are beyond perfect. If you have an expectation for a Thai dish or Japanese sushi item, then you will find yourself very satisfied. I'm here for a few days for work, so I honestly might come back each day, it's that good. To-go drinks when you are done make it over the top too.

Nice, clean interior with a pleasant mix of modern and traditional styles. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Most importantly, the food was absolutely amazing! We had the Tin's House sushi rolls and soft shell crab tempura as appetizers, and split red curry with tofu and pad Thai with chicken for the entree. There were several different options to choose from for spiciness. The drinks were great as well. We had a pot of Jasmine tea and a blended Thai bubble tea, which I highly recommend. Can't wait to go again!

Had a really nice night at Tin's House. Have driven by this place multiple times but never been in. I would say it's decently priced and the food was good. I had the Laad something or other. Flat noodles in gravy with bok choy, carrots, and some other goodies. Paid extra to get the shrimp in it. Was pretty tasty. Have plenty of leftovers to take home too! The hot tea I had was Jasmine green tea. That is free refills on it for 1.89. One pot was big enough for me alone and to share a little with my fiance. The dumplings were pretty good too. We've had our fair share of dumplings but I've never had one quite like that. Swear it tasted like chicken noodles at the end of your bite. Would go again!

Sat here and watched them offer lunch specials to thai speaking customers and wouldn't offer it to me until I asked, and then they were rude about offering it to me. Will never ever eat here again. Take advantage of customers and clearly show favoritism. Rude to treat customers unfairly.

My online order was taken off the printer when I arrived 25 minutes after ordering. I was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes, it took 25. My yellow curry entree was more like soup with very few pieces of veges and chicken. There were no carrots and they added cashews instead. 0/0 would recommend

We were super excited to try this place. We should have known something was wrong when at 6:30pm on a Friday night no one was in the restaurant. The service was so slow and the sushi was awful. I would have rather saved the $55 and went to fast food.

Don't bother! Ok, the house salad was very good, but that's it. The service was incredibly slow. Wow that was amazingly bad sushi. The most impressive part of it was just how thin they could slice the meats. I had to ask if they mis prepared my eel roll as it didn't seem to have anything but cucumber in it. Nope, the waitress happily pointed out the paper thin slices of eel on the inside. Nonetheless the prices are the same as everywhere else. As I said above, don't bother, much better places nearby.

Took a star as the service was super slow and no check ins to see if anything was needed or nothing seating was fast wasn’t busy when we arrived but filled up along the way boba tea 10/10 flavor went the popping ones even though I asked before an the lady said it was good was tasty I had the drunken noodles with tofu wand shrimp loved it also tried the green curry was watery but ok sticky rice was good ordered crab Rangoon’s it never came nor did they check back with us about it house soup was tasty would go back wasn’t a Terrible experience

For ten years my family and I have visited this restaurant on a regular basis for Thai food, but since the original owners sold the place about a year ago it has gone down hill.
Poor service, room temperature hot food, higher prices. We will not be back. There are many other choices for Thai food in Avon.

A literal shrimp boat...do I need to say more about their dedication to decoration and presentation. Service was pretty slow and refills were almost nonexistent

Very friendly group of people and have a good service. They money you pay will never be a waste. Their food are good and they changed the name to Thai’s House Cuisine and Sushi now. The food taste the same so I will still go regardless of the restaurant name.

Very good sushi service was prompt and very friendly.

First time visitor. Hubby and I stopped in for a random date night. We were sat immediately which surprised me for a Friday night. We really enjoyed everything we had (crab Rangoon, Pad Mee, and a roll of sushi) and the presentation. Prompt service and food delivery. We will definitely return next time we are in the area and hope if you're reading this message will consider visiting, too!

Visited for the first time during lunch. Great atmosphere, staff was friendly, food was reasonably priced. I would recommend and also plan to return. The shrimp tempura and crunchy roll are great for the cooked sushi folks.

Tins house was my favorite place to eat . Only halal Thai place . But had very unprofessional and poor customer service with new management. I had a carry out order of basil fried rice and they gave me mushroom fried rice instead. When I called after reaching home , they admitted their mistake but insisted to bring the food back to get my correct order. She told me she can’t do anything till I will bring the wrong food in . I told the girl I just reached home can’t go out again so she refused to help me and said bring our food back and get yours . She didn’t show any courtesy. Neither gave me any refund . So disappointed with these new people. Won’t go there again .

Thai fried rice was good but not great, California roll was okay, strawberry & mango boba tea was not good at all tasted like perfume. Our waiter also forgot 2 of the orders for my table plus the bill was over $200 for 5 people and we didn’t even get the most expensive plates. Wouldn’t recommend.

Love to have a Halal Thai place near by. We tried beef basil fried rice, Dunkin Noodles with chicken, dumplings, mango bubble tea, and strawberry bubble tea. I do not recommend their bubble teas. I had better dumplings.

We were craving some sushi and found this place that has a mix of sushi and Thai food. Their rolls were fairly good, not the best compared to what we had in the past, but it was okay for our craving.

Im not sure why there are so many amazing reviews (maybe i came on a bad night) but my experience was abysmal. I got the drunken noodles and received weird fettuccine-like noodles unlike any I've seen before and I grew up in Southeast Asia with a Chinese mom. There were 3 shreds of veg and Literally 5 squares of tofu. 12.99 is normal for drunken noodles loaded with veg and tofu--but was a ripoff here when you receive 3 dollars worth of carbs and bokchoi. To top it off, the server started arguing with us about the noodles claiming they were in fact "wide noodles". If he had just said sorry we messed up--it would have been fine and I wouldn’t bother to review. But the argumentative attitude was really something. I ate almost none of my entree but the staff made no attempt to make it right except A half hearted “if you don’t like it, we can fix it”. I took my 3 dollars off noodles home and added an egg and green beans , seasoned with sweet soy sauce and fish sauce to doctor it up. Maybe for people who have little experience with asian food, this is acceptable but it was a very unpleasant experience for us. We politely paid up and tipped well without engaging in the argument he seemed to want, but ill never be back.

Wait time was very long

I ordered the panang curry with tofu. It was good. I had a to go order. The meal was packed very well in the bag. The only suggestion I have is to include more rice for the to go orders. The food didn't take long to be prepared. I waited less than 15 minutes.

I ordered a sashimi combo for 15 pieces. I eat sashimi all the time and this was just not par. The sashimi pieces were cut as thin as they could. If they could go thinner, i think they would have. Not at all worth $25.

Amazingly delicious food. Was looking for the perfect Zabihah halal cuisine and we found it!!! The owners are so nice they even let us pray in their stockroom. My kids loved their sushi rolls and bobba drinks! We even got some Thai food to go! 5 stars from us!!

I’m so glad I discovered Tin’s! I’ve been here several times in the past couple months and everything I’ve tried so far has been amazing! So fresh and full of flavor. I love how there are many vegetarian options to choose from and how they are willing to accommodate to my style!

Fast and friendly

The sushi was okay but my dad and I got food poisoning after. Maybe someone didn’t wash their hands or I don’t know but the food poisoning wasn’t very nice.

Doesn't matter how many times I go here, the food is always great. My daughter loves the sushi here. I loved the flavor in their Tom Yum Soup and the entrees for both my wife and I. They were both packed full of flavor and that spicy goodness synonymous with Thai food fare. This is a gem in Avon and right Across from Shiloh Crossing. My only wish is that they were based in Indy so I wouldn't have drive all the way to Avon. Still, the food is worth the drive.

We got the pink something or other roll that had tempura shrimp in it.... the tempura was way too greasy and the oil was old, you could taste it. The Pad Thai wasn't even Pad Thai! It was made with the right rice noodles but it had a spicey onion based sauce. Don't trust Indiana when it says it thinks this place is 4 or 5 star. I don't believe this place would survive anywhere that knew what Thai food or sushi was. Do not come here.

The staff was nice but sushi wasn't great. It was sliced so thinly that picking it up with chopsticks caused it to fall apart.

It was absolutely delicious and there was little to no wait- given we did arrive around 5 pm, but still. The sushi was fresh and perfect, so was the soup I ordered. The presentation of the food was amazing. It's definitely an underrated restaurant!

I was so pleased to see one of my pre-pandemic favorite restaurants flourishing. The food and drink were delicious. The staff are still knowledgeable about #foodallergies The customer service was unchanged --still a caring and friendly place to enjoy a great meal.

Probably the thinnest slices of sushi I have ever witnessed. The rainbow roll had shrimp instead of another kind of fish. The ratio of rice to fish was awful. The quality of fish was poor. I am absolutely unimpressed with this order. I have actually eaten here before and I'm not sure I will again.

The sushi was fresh. Good food presentation. Super clean. Probably the best I had in the 3 years I’ve been in Indiana. I usually go to KUMO in Greenwood but didn’t wanna drive that far out. They don’t serve alcohol but the food was so good I didn’t care.

The service was a bit slow. We tried the Sumer roll, the crispy roll, and the California deluxe. None of them were astonishing but were not totally unbearable either.

In response to the owner: I only ordered sushi, which does not take 20 minutes to cook. I looked back and my food was sitting on the counter unattended. And even before that, it took 10-15 minutes to receive soup.

Doesnt boast much on curb appeal as its tucked in the corner of a shopping center but what a hidden treasure! This food is excellent and the service was exceptional. Our food arrived quickly and correct to our requests. Can not wait to come back! Highly recommend this quaint establishment for a lunch with friends or a date night out! If ever the saying "dont judge a book by its cover" was applicable, its here!

I've ordered and ate food from this restaurant many times. And i enjoyed it until right now when I find two worms in my fried noodles and curry (and I'm sure there are more). I tried calling them to talk with them before leaving a review but no one is answering. I'm very disappointed!

If it could give it zero, I would. The tempura looks and tastes like state Fair corn dogs. Not. A. Fan.
