I don't recommend going an hour before they close.

Sushi is top notch and their crab rations is one reason my family wanted to come back. They even accommodated my request for sweeter and spicier red curry. Highly recommend it.

My partner enjoys Thai cuisine, while I prefer sushi, and our search for a place that excels in both ended today. The staff was exceptionally friendly, promptly seating us and patiently taking our slightly complex order. We made a special request to have a fried egg on top of the pad thai, and they happily accommodated it at a reasonable upcharge, unlike many other places. All our dishes arrived simultaneously as requested and tasted delicious. The sushi was expertly prepared with the proper cut and Wasabi under the fish slice – a detail we appreciated. The diverse selection of hot teas, beyond the usual green, was a pleasant surprise. We appreciated the high food quality and the welcoming demeanor of the staff. This establishment seems family-run, and the owner's children were respectful of others around them. I definitely recommend this spot, and there is a 100% chance we will be frequenting this spot rather than Mama Thai, Habrae, New Pot, Sagano, and most of the other restaurants in the area that we have tried. To the owners and staff we appreciate your well run business and look forward to eating here again.

This is a new place in the area and its good. The service is quick and the food came pretty fast as well. What we ordered tasted delicious. The beef noodles tasted just right and the dragon roll is a must try. I did love the nice large sized shrimp with my fried rice. They are so nice they gave us spring roll dish for free. I wouldn't mind checking out more later.

The food was delicious, hands down
I had to order more rolls! The location is a little weird to get to (parking, off a main road, just a weird spot) but overall very happy with this spot and would go back.

We decided to try this restaurant based on its reviews and pictures but were deeply disappointed, especially after just finishing a fast. Here's a breakdown of our experience:

1. Food
Chicken Udon Pad Thai
The flavor was decent, but it was overly sweet, which detracted from the dish overall.

Dragon Roll & Spider Roll
Both rolls were a big letdown. They lacked flavor entirely, with the only taste coming from the unagi sauce on top. On top of that, the restaurant used regular white rice instead of sushi rice, causing the rolls to fall apart when picked up. We initially ordered the Dragon Roll, but after being dissatisfied, we exchanged it for the Spider Roll. Unfortunately, the Spider Roll had the exact same issues.

Spicy Pacific Roll
This roll wasn’t terrible, but the rice was overcooked, which overwhelmed the other flavors.

Shrimp Udon Pad Thai
This dish was okay, but, like the Chicken Udon Pad Thai, it was overly sweet.

2. Service
The service was generally fine, except for some confusion when we asked to exchange the Dragon Roll for the Spider Roll.

3. Atmosphere
The restaurant was cold temperature-wise, but the bathrooms were clean, and the space wasn’t crowded.

Don't know what type of Asian food you're in the mood for? Don't worry, this place has it all! Reasonably priced, excellent taste! Thai iced tea was amazing, so was the sushi. Definitely worth going out of your way for.

Regular flavor

We tried the regular Pad Thai and udon Pad Thai and both were disappointing and didn't have any peanuts. Also, the shrimp shumai had no flavor. The egg rolls were okay. Nothing special about this place. Mid all around.

Hidden gem. What I usually look for is a clean place, fresh food and friendly/helpful staff. Small but intimate in the sense that it's not overwhelming This one checks all the boxes. I plan on returning.

From the look on the server's face, I wasn't sure if I was being welcomed in or warned to leave, but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food. I tried something different, and the taste of the soup reminded me of my mother's spaghetti sauce for her Po Man's spaghetti. It was just missing the taste of garlic. I was satisfied with everything & I will be returning soon!

We came for a lunch mid-day on a Wednesday. It wasn't too busy and staff welcomed and seated us right away. The decor is also welcoming, bright and interesting. We ordered steamed edamame, chicken pad thai and chicken fried rice. Everything came out quickly, fresh and hot! I love edamame in general and feel like you can't go wrong with it if you like it, White Crane's was no different and came out perfect. I also enjoyed the chicken pad thai and fried rice. The dishes are flavorful and they can adjust spice level to your liking.

We have been looking for a new Thai restaurant close to us and are very excited this is in Naperville! We will be planning a visit again.

Love this place. They're Thai. Fried rice is phenomenal. I order it at least twice a month. Their sushi is fantastic and you can customize. As good as any Thai I've had in Chicagoland through the years. Avocado Curry is outstanding.

I dined in and after waiting 30 minutes left after finding they had not even yet started making my order. aside from myself there was only one other table with people.

Food was amazing, especially their curry (which I’m a big fan of). We specifically ordered chicken tender satay (which was amazing, the sauce they pair it with was the best), their Panang curry (which was the best curry I’ve had, note that I’m new to curry), and the teriyaki fried rice (was great not an intense flavor of teriyaki where it’s too much), also got dessert which was the taro pearls in coconut cream (very good for people who are lactose intolerant , and is warm and sweet). Overall will definitely be going their again and again.

I love this place. This was my first time there and it is now my number one go to Thai place. The staff was so kind and welcoming. I had Thai Fried Rice with chicken . It was a good portion and sooo delicious. I took a good friend of mine there for her birthday lunch to try a new place and we were not disappointed. She ordered Ginger Chicken w/Rice although it was not in the menu. Our server quickly said no problem we can make that dish for you, and they did! It was super delicious! She also ordered a pork appetizer. I didn't try it because I don't eat pork. Our server surprised us with complimentary egg rolls with our lunch.Delicious! Plus they surprised my friend with a delicious slice of cheese cake for her birthday and decorated the plate with raspberries sauce in the shape of trees. It was beautiful. I'm hooked. I plan to go back again this weekend. I totally recommend this place!

I’ve been here twice to dine in and once carried out. The Kimchi fried rice is a favorite. The Penang curry is done well and I decided to try the Ban Zai Maki was huge and stupendously tasty! Oh so scrumptious!

My Pad Thai noodles were very tasty-- a little different from other places. But that is to be expected, I've found, in Thai cuisine where cooking is an art form. This place also serves Japanese food. Looking forward to a second visit to try other dishes.

The food was good, and the presentation of the sushi was lovely. It's very open spaced. Be prepared to maybe hear your neighbors conversation. However, an occasional smile tends to relieve the awkwardness.

This was my first time ordering from White Crane. I chose the Tom Yum noodle soup and chicken satay. The soup was savory with fresh vegetables. The chicken satay was exceptional, with tender, succulent chicken. I am looking forward to tasting more of their items.

Due to an issue with the processing time for our order, my boyfriend got there early and they gave him a free Thai tea while he waited! Will definitely be going back.

ordered the chicken satay. looked and tasted like it was pre made...like it came out a bag and they just heated or fried it up. The crab ragoon was in a flaky like philo dough pastry???/ Crab ragoon , from my experience is usually in a dough type wrapping..not in a pastry type dough...it was like eating a hors d'oeuvre instead of an appetizer.!! I learned one thing from eating out...just because you go to a restaurant and it is ran by a certain ethnic group, doesnt mean it's "authentic"! We wont go back.

We passed this place almost daily, so when friends suggested we eat there, e did. The beer selecting was all Asian breweries, so we were able to find something we liked. The food was good, we shared plates, they were so plentiful.

My family was in the hunt for a new go-to Thai place and were so happy to find this place.

We love going here for the Thai and sushi. Their green curry is fantastic and so too their spicy basil. They don't default to being super spicy but are more than happy to accommodate.

I would've thought being on Harlem I'd hate picking up here but have had no issues getting in and out easily. They're always so fast making our order too and quite friendly.

We love this place and try to go at least a couple of times a month. The staff is so nice and they remember me and my food allergies. My favorite is the sushi but I have had the Thai as well. The Rainbow Roll was my favorite last time I was there. We also love the Unagi Q Maki.

Everytime I dine in at this place the owner and her husband go out of their way to make my friends and I feel very welcomed. Just last Sunday we stopped by and didn't know that they opened at 4PM on Sundays, but they allowed us to come in earlier and even served us ahead of schedule. The food is phenomenal and traditionally prepared. Authentic Thai! I've been a fan of Thai food for around 30 years and this is by far one of the best Thai restaurants I've eaten at. The decor is warm and inviting with subtle music in the background. Great place to take a date, or the whole family. There also will be an outside patio during spring/summer. They do it right and I highly recommend.

First time here, went on my birthday. The food was delicious. Lots of things to try, can't wait to come back.

Terrible experience.. This was the second chance I've given this restaurant and the experience was even worse this time around. We arrived and weren't given a menu for 10min and they only realized when they finally came and asked for our order. 15 minutes later the appetizers came and our cups were filled a quarter full of water never to be filled again that night. Dragon roll was okay, crab Rangoon was good, and vegetable gyoza was horrendous. It tasted like it was microwaved then put in a refrigerator. Cold and rubbery. 15 minutes later and only one entree came out. 20minutes later the second one came out with several more apologies and an offer to make it to go. They completely forgot our Thai iced tea as well. The restaurant was cold and seating was also uncomfortable. Every restaurant rule in the book was broken and although we appreciate the owner trying to send out an ice cream dessert as an apology, every other table was also having problems. We first came when this restaurant just opened 2 years ago and truly hoped they would have fixed these things, but it's unfortunate that poor staffing and service still cripple this establishment. I can't imagine continuing to give every table apologies and desserts is actually a proper fix for these issues.

Our online order was over an hour late. Delivery distance was three blocks away. We called the restaurant several times and they kept saying 10 minutes, 10 minutes.

Service was great and the food was wonderful! Only real issue is parking lot is kind tight for handicap parking, and place was REALLY cold. We were by the window, but even the bathroom was cold. But I'd definitely recommend for takeout!!!

First off the customer service here is amazing my server took care of me really well. Now to the food , it came out fast within 15 minutes , the shrimp Shumai was AMAZING and the sauce complemented it really well, the pad thai lunch special came with fried egg rolls which was also good and the pad thai itself while flavorful was just too sweet for my liking and contained no peanuts which I'm accustomed too for pad thai. I could barely finish my plate due to the sweetness , however I like this restaurant and can see myself coming back to try more items.

Ever since I first began observing the construction, I had been anticipating their opening. I must say that it is AMAZING now that I have had the opportunity to visit! The taste is extremely real because all the components are so fresh! Since they just opened, it takes a bit to get your food, but I promise it will be worth the wait! I'll return here without a doubt soon; it's now my favorite Thai restaurant in Oak Park. Additionally, be sure to sample their sushi! Excellent too!

I’ve been here only a couple times, and all visits where amazing. Food was fresh and our server was attentive. Great environment overall with many options, even sake along with other cocktails. The two of us came on a Thursday 2:30, it was not busy.

Food was ok. The ventilation was horrible. We sat in kitchen fumes and smoke for an hour. I’m from the city and moved to the burbs and this is not the Thai place I want to go to. I’d choose Bodhi Thai Bistro on Roosevelt hands down over this place. But, food was ok. Sushi rolls were fresh.

We had a family birthday dinner for 12 at White Crane and it was excellent! We had appetizers and each one was so good! Crispy not greasy. The Octopus Balls were delicious. We had sushi, rice dishes, noodle dishes, and curries. Each one was simply delicious. Highly recommend!

Decent Sushi + Thai joint in Forest Park. While I like their Pad Thai and Takoyaki, the sushi rolls were a little underwhelming. Staff is welcoming and provide a fast, professional service.

I got catering from White Crane for my office warming party, and everyone loved it!!! We had hardly any food left over at the end of the night and many people said they would be ordering from White Crane again. We also very much appreciated the person who delivered it setting it up on the table for us. The containers for the sushi rolls were large and round, and looked really good for the display. The food was perfect for small bites for people at a party.

I just had a small lunch, Tom Kha gai, Thai coffee and taro custard.. I asked for the soup to be very spicy and they did it perfect!! Great food very nice proportions

My family and I love this place! Besides the food being so amazing, the customer service is off the charts! I ordered there yesterday and my Thai tea smoothie wasn't was I was used too, not only did they remake it for me, they gave me a free one for my daughter! I just enjoy everything about this place, and my family and I will continue to support!

The place was ok-ish. Mango smoothie was tasty. Fried rice was a little overcooked and mushy. Sushi tasted average.

This is a new place in the area and its good. The service is quick and the food came pretty fast as well. What we ordered tasted delicious. The beef noodles tasted just right and the dragon roll is a must try. I did love the nice large sized shrimp with my fried rice. They are so nice they gave us spring roll dish for free. I wouldn't mind checking out more later.
