We were in the neighborhood of Fort Greene, Brooklyn for exploring new bakeries and randomly visited Muse Thai for dinner.

The decor is simple and bright with cozy ambiance and lots of seating. However, it’s crowded during the peak on weekends so we highly recommend to make a reservation in advance.

It’s overall delicious with satisfying portion and reasonable price. Our favorites were the peanut dumplings and their signature noodle bowls. The broth of Muse Bay is light but flavorful with 3 different proteins. The taste of Khao Soy was super rich and creamy.

I would like to give my five stars to this authentic Thai food with a good atmosphere and taste. First of all, its decoration and atmosphere are particularly good, and secondly, the service staff are also relatively professional. Finally, the amount and taste of Thai food can meet my expectations, although the duck noodles are slightly sweet.

I really enjoyed the crispy egg. My wife and I are obsessed with pad krawpow kai dow and will always try it in every Thai to compare notes. This one was a solid effort. They shorted us on the spice level, when a person asks for Thai spicy they mean it! But the food was delicious. Only thing that could have been better was the coffee cocktail, it was not very tasty.

Walked in around 6:30 on a Friday night and was seated at the bar, which is a great spot especially if you’re dining solo. Service was amazing — they took my order and grabbed my drink right away. I ordered the Tonkatsu and it was great; flavor profile was delicious. The staff were very friendly and engaging. Would highly recommend!

This place from start to finish was amazing with a warm old school/ holiday ambience. Imagine sitting in your living room on a porch on a nice day with nice music and food. The Thai food was all fresh and the service was great. The food came out fast and prompt. Our waitress was attentive and informative. I had the drunken noodles with crispy shrimp and my friend had the pad Thai which were both delicious but a tad bit Spicy which was good. If you don’t like spice tell them to make it less spicy. We also had the calamari and wings. All in which we’re good. We followed our lunch with with dessert which was paired with a sticky rice with mango and the flavors were out of this world. I’ll definitely will recommend to anyone in the area !!! FRESH FRESH FRESH . With the culture of THAI ! Thank you all for wonderful service

I found this place when I was pregnant, my baby is 3 now, I can still taste every plate of food I’ve had. Food is a 10, service is a 10. Even if they might not understand at times, they take their time to understand exactly what you want. Staff is just sweet as ever. I’ve ate at another Thai restaurant down the street and it was NOTHING like it. The best thing to get is shrimp rolls, Thai ice tea, oh yeah the lychee drink is so delicious 🤤 the crab rice is bomb as well, just real spicy…you can get it without the heat. Just know if you do…lol your mouth would be on fire. I introduced my whole family to this restaurant. I can’t wait to have a date there soon. I hope their service never change except get better and better!!!

Curry chicken and mango salad were amazing!

Great food. The vs wings are really good and let you taste both flavors in case you can't decide. The drunken noodles were also very good and had just the right amount of spice.

I’ve eaten at plenty Thai restaurants, but none of them compared to this one. The Thai iced tea was probably the best I’ve ever had, other than in Thailand. The pineapple fried rice with shrimp was amazing and delicious. The steamed chicken dumplings were jampacked with chicken, unlike other restaurants that give you more of the actual dumpling itself with very little filling. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food and I will definitely be returning.

I like the food very fresh the atmosphere is great the service is good the employees are friendly I've have eaten inside the restaurant and also take out the complaint I have is with the street fried rice which is supposed to come with egg scallion and onion the first order had limited eggs limited scallions the second order had just chicken and onion and I understand the egg situation I asked for extra scallions and they said they couldn't do extra but if the order says eggs scallions and onion and you're not giving eggs why can't I have extra scallions if you're going to take a item out then you should replace it with something so if you're no longer giving eggs and scallion it should be represented in the menu

Under the STRONG suggestion of my girlfriend, she, our daughter and I went to Muse Thai for a family dinner out. She gave raved reviews on this establishment and knows how much I love Thai food, so we went.

The place was small, but intimate and had a nice ambiance. The restaurant was packed, but they had seating in the back and that is where we were sat, which was great for us. They have outside seating as well, but it is winter time at this point, so it was closed off.

I cannot fully remember the initial interaction with our servers, but we had 2.5 servers serving us. We started out with appetizers in the form of wings. We ordered one of each option; one BKK and one Thom set of wings. There is an option to have both wings in one order, but we wanted the two separate orders and one of our servers had a hard time understanding that.

They brought out one set of wings where we later found out that it was the mixed wings instead of one separate order as we had requested, but no big deal. They were going to bring out another order of the mixed wings to even it out and when they did, the wings came out looking AMAZING but they were FROZEN COLD!!! We were in such SHOCK and they apologized and brought out another set and it was really hot.

Then, we had to ask our servers for items such as straws and napkins, to which they were STINGY with the napkins and literally gave us one. The food was alright; I asked for some sweet chili sauce to which they gave ONE, TINY cup of and I had to ask for another.

Finally, the bill came, which my girlfriend paid with cash, saying to our main server, "Please take out your tip as well". As we paid up and are exiting the restaurant, we are CHASED DOWN by our .5 of a server with the bill in her hand and everything. To this, we were truly shocked and confused. She said that we did not pay and we confirmed that we did. In actuality, she said that we did not leave a TIP!!! (This was EXTREMELY embarrassing!!!)

We explained that we told the server to pay the bill and take her tip as well as we paid with cash. The .5 of the server said that maybe WE misunderstood. I responded, "No!!! The SERVER misunderstood!!!", and the .5 server instantly agreed. LOL.

To say that our experience was not "aMUSEsing" is an understatement. The service was not the greatest, being ran down on was embarrassing, we had to discuss everything the cold WITH our baby since we were stopped at the outside area of the restaurant; it was not a pleasant experience AT ALL and nor would I recommend anyone to go there and have such a TERRIBLE experience like we did.

The atmosphere was exactly what we needed after a long day at work. It’s quiet and dainty, a perfect escape from the noisy restaurants we’re so used to. The servers were incredibly nice and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely spectacular! We ordered the chicken dumplings, rock shrimp, se ew noodles, beef, and the mango salad. Every single dish was bursting with flavor, but the mango salad deserves a special shoutout—it was so freaking good!

I’m thoroughly impressed and have officially added this place to my list of favorites. Thanks so much for the amazing food and wonderful service. Can’t wait to come back!

This was one of the best Pad See Ew dishes I’ve had in NYC! The other appetizers and dishes were equally impressive, and the interior atmosphere added to the overall experience.

Just had an amazing meal here! You have to try it if you're in the area. We tried three appetizers: the muse roti, the curry puffs, and the vs wings. The muse roti is incredible! So much flavor. The wings were also excellent. Very crispy but moist inside and well-sauced. The portions for the appetizers are small so we were glad to try many things.
For the entree, my partner had the muse roti with beef and I had the red curry with fried tofu. I loved the red curry! Not too spicy and so rich in flavor. The fried tofu is a perfect crispy complement to the rich curry.
The decor inside is tasteful and cozy. They have candles hanging from the ceiling which is a nice romantic touch. We had a reservation and our table was ready as soon as we arrived.
The staff were also fantastic. So kind and attentive.
I will definitely be back again and again! Thanks for a delicious meal!

We were racially profiled as soon as i walked in with my friends. Someone disputed the transaction on May 4 but the owner thought it was us who did that but however the last time we went there as a group was May 26. One of my friend was there last week but he didn’t say anything to him. We just told him he’s racist and walk out. This is not the first time we gave him a $20 tip the last time he had the audacity to tell us it’s too small. The other time we say we went there he was mad about the tips and he just walked out and let another bartender services. Just because we are black and the other people are black, he thought it was us.

Me and my three black friends were racially profiled by the bartender who’s also the owner. He accused us of coming there previously, but then later said he doesn’t know if it’s us anymore after my friends card didn’t match and we asking for the video of the camera. He said they looked like us and so he thought it was us, this same guy was angry at us for only tipping him $20 when we once went there…and even sometimes goes to the back for someone else to serve us. I should’ve learned the first time…they are racist

Muse is a very trendy and authentic Thai restaurant that offers amazing portions, great variety, and very nice service. The moment I enter the restaurant, I’m instantly greeted by the friendly staff.

Muse houses a decent bar section, a relaxing outdoor patio, and another bar at the back where they serve noodles. It’s a pretty spacious restaurant if you ask me! As for the menu, they offer an all day menu, lunch special, Muse specials, and drinks. Muse truly has a great variety to choose from.

Since it’s lunch time, I order their Shoyu Ramen Lunch Special, and to my surprise it’s one of the best ramens I’ve ever tasted! It’s on par (if not better) with other Japanese ramen stores. The soup is rich and hearty. Muse is very generous with the Chashu Pork (4-5 long slices) and noodle portions. Couple it with the included appetizers and at the price of $16.95, what more can you ask for?

Overall, Muse delivers fantastic food and service! I’ll definitely be back to try out their other food!

I came on a Monday night so it wasn’t busy, but I really liked this place. It’s a cute cozy dimly lit spot, very nice ambience. The food was sooo good too, nice portions. I got the chicken dumplings and calamari as my starters. I didn’t get any sort of sauce for the dumplings but I didn’t even need it because they were very flavorful on their own. I got the Alaska fried rice as my main and it was very well made and a lot of food. Everything tasted great and I would definitely come back here again. I ordered a Mai Tai and it was stronggg lol but very good. 10/10!

Always reliable for take-out

Went for dinner on a Sunday. Papaya salad was great. Pad thai was bland - not sweet or sour, or savory. Also it was too oily, maybe that was because I ordered it with fried tofu.

This spot is a little more expensive than your typical Thai carryout, but it’s definitely earned the extra! My Red Curry Beef was delicious, prepared with, among other things, artichoke & pumpkin. I loved the chill atmosphere and the friendly waitstaff. I’ll be back when I’m in the neighborhood, for sure!!

There are tons of Thai restaurants, but Muse is my go to! Whether delivery or in-house, the food is always fresh, the drinks are good AND everything is affordable. If you're looking to try new things, their Street food menu has some surprising highlights like the ground beef dish and the pork belly with basil fried rice.

I stumbled across this place and I am absolutely in love! The staff is friendly, the food is good (I got an appetizer of the mock duck buns as I don’t eat meat— delicious) and the atmosphere is so beautiful calm and relaxing. Seriously recommend! In a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood, which is sad and annoying😢😢😢😢😢😢 I was happy to see many people of color dining here when I went on a random Sunday. My server was lovely and I plan to return. Definitely a new favorite. Also super reasonable prices!!!!
