Great family owned restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. Service is quick and attentive; staff is very knowledgeable on the menu items and made recommendations based on the taste I was looking for. The staff mentioned upon request all dishes can be made without nuts for anyone with nut allergies.
The wait for the food was short, from ordering to receiving the appetizers, it was about 5 minutes. By the time the appetizers were finished the main entrees arrived, about another 10 minutes.
We tried the appetizer sampler to sample a bit of everything. The Gyozas are a must try if you enjoy Gyozas/Potstickers. The Crab Rangoons are a blend of cream cheese goodness.
The entrees we tried were the Pad Thai and the Sesame Egg Noodles both with beef. The Pad Thai had a good light sweet and sour flavor profile while the Sesame Egg Noodles had a rich flavor profile almost like broth-like.
I will be ordering from this local restaurant soon, great taste all round.
I’m not a lover of Thai food but decided to give this place a shot. I got the Pad See Ew and the Pad Thai and they were both very good. Their hot sauce is VERY good. There was one person there working and she was really sweet. Will definitely be going back to try more of their dishes.
My wife & I love Thai food and upon driving by the newly open restaurant, knew we had to give Thai Pot Noodle Shop a try. As a result, I am happy to say, this gem did not disappoint but hit all the marks—definitely a win-win all around! We had spicy fried rice with shrimp & chicken and crispy rolls, it was amazing and a must have! Looking forward to returning for sure! and highly recommend!
I tried their red curry with chicken and shrimp.
I was really impressed! So tasty, full of flavor, plus a small plate gives you plenty of protein and vegetables (full of broccoli, kale, onion, and red pepper). Great balance of budget, taste, and health. Highly recommend this dish!
I visited Thai Pot yesterday afternoon.
I had the Thai Iced Coffee, Japanese Gyozas (my absolute favorite!), Chicken Satay, and Chicken Fried Rice; I also took an order of Chicken Noodle Soup & Gyozas to go.
Everything was delicious! The food came out hot and timely! The service was friendly and hassle-free. The owners are very kind people & should be very proud of the food they’ve brought to the Jefferson Park area. :) I would definitely recommend this place and will be back!
I love this place and go any chance I get! Tom kah gai soup is the best in the city! I travel from Edgewater and take a couple soups home after the meal. Great price too 👍

Excellent service . Nice environment. Thank you
We ordered for delivery Ramen soup. It was delicious. This is our first time and it will not be the last.
They had no customers when we went there, and yet they never came to our table
to ask us what we would like to order. We sat there for 15 minutes and left.
Delicious food, i usually order takeout. The red curry and rice is amazing. Never skip the hotsauce. The cabbage and tomato appetizer is also great.
Terrible food…. Not sure what it is supposed to be, but it is NOT Thai….. threw out 90% of it
Some of the most flavourful pad thai I've ever had. Generous portions too, at least 2 meals worth
Ordered delivery.
Wonton soup, really good. Great flavor but slightly oily.
Crab rangoon, excellent.
Id order from here again and try some other menu options.
Ordered Lad nar, fried rice, kids menu chicken tenders, miso soup, and tom yum soup.
Lad Nar noodles were way too crisp and no chewy noodle left. Fried rice did not have the thai basil taste - instead had interesting vegetables typically not in thai fried rice - cabbage, bean sprouts

My friend and I love this place! It has become a regular spot for us. We really enjoy the Crab Rangoon, the Pad Thai with chicken, and the Pad See Ew with beef.
My family and I went in to have dinner with our toddler. The restaurant is very clean and kid-friendly. We had the pad Thai, crab rangoon and Thai tea. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely gonna keep going back!
My roommate and I were craving Thai food and stumbled upon this gem. We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, Pad See Ew with beef, and Crab Rangoon—all of it was absolutely delicious! The wait staff were incredibly pleasant and made our dining experience even better. We'll definitely be back!
Best Thai food I ever had. I tried the chicken pad Thai, and it became my favorite dish. Definitely coming back for more.
Great food amazing taste and welcoming staff.. love going there with all my family !
As a Pad Thai lover I can confidently say that I absolutely loved the Chicken Pad Thai! They make it peanut and fish allergy friendly which is the icing on the cake. The flavors are on point and I would definitely order here again. 10/10 recommend!
The place was clean, had a lot of seating, and a kind atmosphere. We ordered the Pad Thai for dine-in and we took the Crab Rangoon and Wonton Soup to go! The Pad Thai and Crab Rangoon were great, but the Wonton Soup was absolute FIRE 🔥! 10/10 would recommend to a friend, thus the review. Quick and great service! The wait time for the food was also pretty quick!
The Pad Thai offered at this restaurant is honestly the best Pad Thai I’ve ever tasted. I ate my meal and immediately ordered a meal to go! The service was great too! Can’t wait to go back!
I've been eating Thai food for almost 30 years
All over the United States of America and Europe
It was absolutely the most tasteless, dark colored noodles and black barbecue colored chicken
My daughter asked me why Does it look like it was something that was cooked with barbecue sauce on a grill?
I guess I will make it with scrambled eggs in the morning because I hate to waste food
I don't know who the people are who are rating it
But I will tell you its the worst Thai food I've ever had
Food is good. Original flavors. 👏👌👌👌
First time trying this place. I waited more than 34 minutes for my food but I figured if it’s good am okay with that! Unfortunately it was disappointing. I ordered Singapore noodles which were okay but the portions were much smaller than other locations with hardly any meat. I also ordered a spicy basil it was extremely disappointed ☹️ it had very little flavor and the flavor that it did have wasn’t good! Again the meat was scarce! They might as well been vegetarian dishes for people that have small appetites. Also the atmosphere is a bit off the girl at the register isn’t welcoming! She actually looks a bit miserable 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ better customer service is definitely needed!
Spicy pepper dish with shrimp had not much flavor. The spicy fried rice as well lacked in flavor. The thai ice tea was weak. Won't go there again.
Love love love this thai place. Reminds me of Penny's Noodle Shop that used to be in Wicker Park. Food is always fresh and so tasty!!! They do an amazing 👏 job.
I went there because it was the closed on on the expressway and I didn't regret it at all everything was delicious I'll be back
Order pad Thai and crab Rangoon. It was inedible but pad Thai is so easy to make so I expected a higher quality meal. Not the Friday dinner treat I was looking forward to.
Great food and even though it was just takeout excellent customer service
I get and appreciate creativity in cooking but when you try to save costs at the same time, it can only be a disservice to a recipe because I don’t see how you make red curry with so much onions as if it is a substitute to bamboo shoots. I ordered chicken red curry and the chicken was cut so small and so scanty and how do you replace basil with spinach for crying out loud?! That’s why I’ve lived in the area for a while now and this restaurant is never up there in the list when I look for Thai food.
It was empty inside when we went so food came out quick . Tasty!! I'll come back eventually
My brother and I live in Jefferson Park love this place, great food, big portions, affordable, would recommend and been here a few times already
Very delicious the soup , pad siew ew, great service!! Not gonna disappointed!
Exelente en comida, atención y ambiente
Amazing food and atmosphere! The Pad Thai and the gyozas were so good!
Fantastic food at a super reasonable price

Pad see ew is alright. A bit too sweet and needed a little salty flavor. Service is great. Place is clean.
Been a couple of times. Seems to be hit or miss for some folks, but we haven’t had anything bad there. The Thai ravioli was really good. My wife loved her soup. The chicken in my daughter’s chicken fried rice was pretty dry, so it’s probably not the freshest, but it still good.
We ate in both times, but I’ve never seen anyone else there. Seems like they’re getting by mostly on carry out.
Awesome restaurant. I ordered the Pad Thai And Spicy Basil , and they both tasted great . I live in the neighborhood and I’m glad my wife saw it on the way home . We also like how easy it is to order for pick up online. I can’t wait to try the rest of the food on the menu. Thai Pot Noodles shop ROCKS! 😋👍
So very bland. I got pad thai which had no flavour. Tasted like plain noodles. Not even a hint of tamarind. Also got spicy basil fried rice. Also lacking flavour. Rice had a lot pf moisture and even though I got thai hot it was still bland. Tasted like eating mushy white rice with some chili paste.
Really enjoy the pad thai and fried rice. Most recent take-out orders have been great - much improved since they first opened. Good value, too.
I knew right away the food wasn’t fresh and shouldn’t have eaten it. My stomach has confirmed for the past for 24 hours now
I just moved to the area and this restaurant is about 5min from my house so I was very excited to try out the food because I love thai food and the closeness to my house. I order online, first off, the pictures dont match what you get. I got a Pad see ew with chicken and I was very dissapointed, the chicken that they charge you + $2.00 is old chicken, also the few florests of brocolli were soggy, and the rest was noodles... the dish was definitely NOT worth the $13. I also got egg rolls... those were decent. This was my first and last time here.
Excellent Thai food!
The veggie curry, edamame and steamed veggies were great.
Great soups! Noodle Tom Yum and chicken noodle soups were amazing! Ask for the extra hot dry pepper flakes for some 🔥🔥🔥😋
This is the best Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. Been ordering the Hot Pepper Noodles for a while (love it) , I thought it was time to rey something else. This time I ordered Pas Thai with chicken OMG was delicious super tasty and also great portion.
Highly recommended.
Also thanks to the great service they provided. Christian and his mom are amazing.
Great restaurant !
Second time ordering from this restaurant. First time Curry Fried Rice , great flavor and those shiitake mushrooms super delicious. Tonight I had the Hot Pepper Noodles ,amazing noodles highly recommend.
I will be back to try another dish.
Friendly service from Christian.
4 of us stopped in after searching for Ramen or Pho nearby. We have not eaten here before and we were pleasantly surprised at how fresh the food was. Portions were also generous.
Very delicious this food!
I got the crispy rolls and the pad Thai with tofu. The crunch on the crispy rolls was amazing paired with the sweet sauce was Devine. The pad Thai was flavorful and I loved the spicy sauce that went with it.
Super tasty and flavorful, this is my new spot for Thai ☺️
I ordered a Chicken noodle soup and I'm sorry but it did not taste like chicken soup, plus almost $20 bucks for a soup and one order of crab rangoon not worth it all. Sorry not sorry =(
Worst thai food I ever had. Very bland no flavor. Don't waste your money!!!!
Ordered the lard nar from them. The worst I ever have. The sauce shouldn’t be ginger taste. The noodle shouldn’t be fried hard, like a stick. The whole dish is a mess. Guess Mexican shouldn’t cook Thai noodles. Just taste bad and have to waste the whole thing in the trash. Don’t know how everyone give it 5 stars.
We ordered Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Red Curry and the crab wontons... Red Cury and The wontons were the only thing we could eat, the pad Thai was not traditional, it was oily and burned, and even though it was not terrible it was not good. The Pad See was a huge disappointment, it was grease, weird taste, and the noodles extremely overcooked. I really was expecting more from this place based on the reviews... Service was great, and they look like a hard working family, we really wish the food was better
Ate their Chicken Red Curry twice and now I think it’s time to leave a positive review. Super tasty!
Food was delicious!
Delicious!!
Exelente places , and the ladies who work there are super nice, grate service. I love the food
Delicious food and good portion sizes. We will be returning!
Tom Yum Soup
Yum Yum
Food was delicious!
Good service 👍
I had a nice meal! It's the nice family run place you hope will survive during these trying times.
Great price and excellent flavor.
Delicious... spicy basil!!
Grate thai in the area. :) my favorites: Red curry chicken and all of the fride rice combinations, cheers! and buonapetit;)
Food has no taste, did you forget the salt?
We absolutely loved our order. It was our first time visiting, and everything was prepared freshly. I had the tofu pad se ew, and he chicken hot spicy noodle. Both were excellent! We also got the cucumber salad, and it was so refreshing. Love this place, and will definitely be ordering again.
The food is very good!! Definitely will order again!
I'm a local restaurant owner in the same neighborhood. Everything was fresh, vegetables were crispy and bright. The food was tasty, not heavy, very light. Pad Thai was our favorite. Great job!
We had been meaning to go here since it opened and- now that we finally went- we wonder what took us so long!
Standouts were the "Thai Ravioli" and the Thai-infused spin on Wonton soup. Gonna be getting that soup a lot for the next few winter months!
Love this new restaurant in my neighborhood! Food is good. Service is quick. Server is attentive.
Very pleased to have this Thai restaurant in area. A third of the menu has been tried with no disappointments. Fresh ingredients. Good pricing. Good portions. Friendly staff. Easy pickup and tablet for swiping credit card. I will continue to support. I haven't dined in but dining area is decent sized.
I was looking for a good local Thai food restaurant and this restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious! A little pricy but within reason for sure.
Firs time at Thai Pot and I bought the Red Curry with Chicken. Very creamy curry with a touch of spice. Very tasty!
Our new go-to Thai place. I usually get the Pad See Ew. I also like the Lad Nar, but be aware that the Lad Nar comes with fried crispy noodles not soft (it states it on the menu, but just an extra heads up!) I always get Tom Kha Gai soup at Thai places - here it is listed under the apps, not soups. It was sweeter and spicier than others I’ve had, but still hit the spot. Generous portions!
They have a good website with an easy to use ordering system, which is appreciated!
Food is ok, portions fair
Red curry was great, just needed a pinch of salt. I didn’t love the pad Thai.
Very clean, staff helpful, large Asian menu to choose from, food was excellent 👍
Best Thai food ever!!!
We had the Gyoza, Chicken Pad See Ew, chicken hot pepper noodle, spicy beef fried rice, tom yum soup, & shrimp spicy basil
Great in flavor and cooked to perfection.
I am now obsessed, so glad this place exist!
Great customer service HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I wasn't sure what to expect. I've never really had Thai food in the past. The food was really good.
To start, the people were friendly and helpful in picking items of the menu.
They have quite a few tables, but everyone was picking up take out orders.
I had some type of noodles that had onions and what I believe was cilantro. Our meal came with some sauces which were spicy. I like spicy food and the flavor was great, but wow the burn stayed a while, and that was good.
I also spring rolls and they were so fresh and amazing.
I can't wait to go back and try some other items.
I will be returning!
Bicycling: It is very easy to access by bicycle as Milwaukee has an okay bike lane. I'm sure you could find a place to lock up your bicycle. Only thing, I wish they had outdoor seating.
I’m so happy that there’s a Thai restaurant in my neighborhood! I ordered Chicken Satay, Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. All was pretty good except I wasn’t too fond of the Pad Thai. It tasted like the same sauce used for the Pad See Ew and was just as dark as it too! I think if the Pad Thai had more of a tamarind like sauce and lighter in color and I would’ve enjoyed it more. Hence the 4 stars. I would return to try other menu items, just not for the Pad Thai.
this place has very good food... good experience I had the Gai Kra Praow it came with the spring salad a side salad ... and to drink a had a cold Thai coffee it's is amazing how refreshing is this coffee.. definitely recommend.. to visit this place .. the Thai coffee is now my favorite.
