Cozy Pan-Asian eatery serving BBQ wings, noodles, curries & chicken nuggets in colorful surrounds.
Cozy Noodles is hands down my favorite Thai spot in Chicago! I don’t get to come here often since I live far away, but every time I do, it’s a real treat. I get so excited to eat here because not only is the food absolutely incredible, but the atmosphere and the people make it even more special.
The staff and the owner are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet—always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely happy to see you. It’s the kind of place where you feel like family, even if you only visit once a year.
And let’s talk about the decor—it’s next-level fun! The walls, floors, and ceiling are packed with baseball game figures and toys, creating such a unique, nostalgic vibe. It’s like stepping into a collector’s dream, and it makes the whole dining experience even more memorable.
But the real star? The food. Every dish is made with so much flavor and love. Whether you’re craving classic Pad Thai, rich and comforting curries, or crispy spring rolls, you can’t go wrong. Everything is fresh, perfectly balanced, and cooked to perfection.
If you haven’t been to Cozy Noodles yet, do yourself a favor and go. It’s a place that leaves a lasting impression, and I already can’t wait for my next visit!
Cozy is the perfect way to describe this place. I went there today (a day after the election) feeling dejected, came out with some of my faith in humanity restored. The owners were so kind to accommodate us in the back. Our food came out super promptly and tasted great. The decor is also a sight to behold. Everywhere I look there's always something new I haven't seen before. It's like the best place to play "I Spy" at. The toy collection and neon signage really do give the place its cozy vibe. Absolute best thing was the owners hospitality and kindness. You can see the love Tee has for this place, he's running around back and forth taking orders, serving, pouring drinks and smiling throughout it. He even packed me extra rice to have with my leftovers, I don't know why but that just warmed my heart, hahah. Will definitely be back again and again for feel good service and a nice warm meal.
Lovely place, good service and great food!
We loved it. We had some fried rice, a rice soup and a coconut bubble tea. All of them were delicious.
The only thing I didn't like too much is that it is cash only and the first time we wanted to come here we couldn't because we didn't have any cash with us. But we came back and it was so worth it. I will definitely come back.
Food is delicious, fresh, and quick to order. Staff is really friendly and recognize return visitors. I prefer the fried rice rather than the curry.
Great for take out but can spend way too much time here looking at the super fun decorations.
Portions are on the smaller side but given the location (close proximity to Wrigley), makes sense for pricing.
My partner says the Crispy Pad Khee Mao was the "best thing I've ever put in my body" -- the noodles were fried to perfection, and the sauce was divine (11/10). I had the Chow Fun and I can't think of a better warm and filling meal to end a long day of walking around on our trip to Chicago. The fun of traveling is finding these one-of-a-kind gems that are impossible to replicate, and this is one of those places. Plus, the service was quick and the women working were total badasses in handling an *unexpected* situation outside.
This was a short walk from the Music Box Theatre, which we visited beforehand (highly recommend). We'll definitely be back next time we're in town, and I wouldn't put it past us to drive 5 hours just to have this meal again...
This place is awesome! Small little spot with DELICIOUS food, packed with vintage toy decor and tons of Chicago Cubs decor. Love that the table bases are old sewing machine stands. Staff was extremely kind and the food was top notch. We had the appetizer sampler with crab rangoon, baby egg rolls and shrimp rolls, then for our meals we went with pad thai and cozy tonkatsu dumpling ramen. Must note when dining in they do only take cash. Definitely a little hidden gem in the city that's well worth a visit!
Food is absolutely delicious and the interior almost unbeatable. The "only cash" thing is annoying though
The chef is so freaking wonderful

Such a fun little restaurant! Four of us had dinner, and the food (across a range of different dishes) was uniformly amazing. The staff was helpful and attentive, and dinner was a great end to a great day.
I am in Chicago visiting my college student for a few days and she said we just had to eat at her favorite Thai place ever. This is quite a compliment coming from a seasoned foodie with a discriminating palate. We had dinner at Cozy Noodles and Rice this evening and now it is my favorite Thai place ever! It's a small space near Wrigley Field and if you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know it was there. The walls are lined with fun knick knacks and tchotchkes galore and there are maybe ten tables inside. We were greeted warmly at the door and our service was friendly, attentive and gracious. And the food! My daughter had raved about the crab Rangoon and I was pretty skeptical considering that any I've ever had seemed to have come from Costco, but these are made in house and are amazing! You simply must try the Tom Ka, for real. I'm not usually a fan but this was so dang good. Just the right amount of heat and coconut forward with chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, green onions and lemongrass. Perfection!
My daughter loved the drunken noodles with tofu, but be forewarned that it has a kick! I ordered the Happy Noodles from the menu items inspired by the Cubs World Series win. They were fantastically garlicky with a generous portion of chicken and broccoli.
All of the food was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The portions are plenty for sharing, so go with a group and order several dishes to pass around. Get there early, as they close at 8:45, and bring cash. Cards are not accepted and there is an ATM on site.
Cozy Noodles and Rice really hit the spot on this chilly day. I'll definitely make it a must-go during my next visit, and you should too!
Delicious curry or pad see ew love this place
My Masaman curry was broken and looked kinda gross but still tasted amazing. Would try something different next time.
This place was easily added to a list of my favorite restaurants after dining here for the first time. It's also cash only! Their food was delicious. They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available. The Thai matcha boba drink was refreshing and just the perfect amount of sweet. I love that they offer different types of boba drinks. The staff was also incredibly kind and attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so amazing and I love the decorations of all the different trinkets. I can't wait to bring more family and friends here! I love the affirmation of the restaurant of 'Cozy loves you' it's so cute and affirming.

Wow great little place fun decor excellent food!
Very cute looking interior, and that's about all the positive. An expensive pad thai from them was nothing but dry, noodles and protein. The crab Rangoon was only cream cheese, no actual crab/imitation crab in it. Host was not very personable at all, won't be returning.
Cash only and BYOB as of December 2024
Delicious food, great service, great vibes
The candied peanuts may be the single best food item I have ever had.
One of our favorite places in Chicago! Literally everything is good - but don't skip out on the crab rangoons! Would be really cute for a date night.
Great little spot for some Chinese food. The owner is very personable and even shares his joy of running marathons and hangs all his achievements on the walls. Very eclectic motif and warm Dining atmosphere. Only down side is it's small and difficult to get inside.
Cozy Chicago is a great spot for a relaxed meal. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome.
It was a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a nice place to spend an evening. Definitely worth a visit!
Lovely place, good service and great food!
We loved it. We had some fried rice, a rice soup and a coconut bubble tea. All of them were delicious.

Had been meaning to go here for a while based on lots of good reviews and it definitely didn’t disappoint!! Food was absolutely phenomenal and they have a wide variety of fun options. The service was so friendly and attentive as well— Definitely found our new Sunday night dinner spot
Yum yum yum, cash only but yum yum yum
This place was sooooo awesome! We were the first ones in and we got a complimentary egg roll for free! The food itself is was soooo good (including the egg roll). The menu had a lot of fun cubs references and really satiated my appetite. Coming from Wisconsin, this is some of the best Thai food that I have. The chef himself, chef tee, was so nice and really made us feel welcome. Great place and I hope to be back

Employees don't know how to serve
Some of the best food I've had since moving to Chicago.
Very cool atmosphere 😎
Good food and fast service for being very busy.
Yum!
Was running the Chicago Marathon this past weekend. Not only did they give out free meals to those running, the hostess was so nice and supportive. On top of that- great Red Curry, Crazy Noodles and Edamame! Would recommend
it’s delicious!! love the pad thai and very friendly staff.
PSA to all Chicago Marathon runners: This is the place to go!!! Chef Tee takes care of you! Food is great, but Chef Tee is better :).
Great neighborhood Thai restaurant. Has both creative dishes and classics.
There’s a Vikings bar across the street if u wanna cope
Food is delicious, fresh, and quick to order. Staff is really friendly and recognize return visitors. I prefer the fried rice rather than the curry.
Great for take out but can spend way too much time here looking at the super fun decorations.
Portions are on the smaller side but given the location (close proximity to Wrigley), makes sense for pricing.
The Best! Great atmosphere and very friendly. Awesome before or after a Cubs game.
Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere and fantastic service. The food came quickly, and was very delicious
The atmosphere of this restaurant is very cute and cozy. The staff are nice and professional. I was just not happy with my food. I ordered the Thai basil fried rice, potstickers, and crab Rangoon and the only thing I liked was the potstickers. the crab Rangoon was not terrible just not what I expected it to be compared to other places I’ve been. The fried rice was my main concern. I was confused on how it was prepared. They made the ground chicken, the basil and the onions separately and then gave me plain white rice on the side…that is not how traditional fried rice is prepared. so I basically had to eat the things separate so the rice did not have flavor. My rice was not fried nor spicy at all ass advertised. not to mention my total came to $37 so it was very expensive for ok food.
The owner/manager is absolutely, disgustingly rude to the delivery drivers, we have witnessed that several times, and now we have simply stopped going, because she was also kind of rude to my friend.
The service was solid and the waitresses were friendly and gave me quick service while I was there. The decor is also really fun to go with the location of being near a wrigley field. Unfortunately the food itself leaves much to be desired. I got red curry with tofu and the tofu had this overly sour taste and overly stringy texture that I hadn't experienced with tofu in any dish before.
Lived nearby for 2 years- how have we missed out on this tiny gem? I brought my young son and he liked looking at all the decorations (plus the staff was super nice to him). Menu is huge and all was tasty. We had the Addison red line, crispy pad Thai, shrimp rolls and peanuts.
This place is awesome! Small little spot with DELICIOUS food, packed with vintage toy decor and tons of Chicago Cubs decor. Love that the table bases are old sewing machine stands. Staff was extremely kind and the food was top notch. Chef Tee and his staff is awesome and so welcoming! I love the decor with the old vintage antiques and figures. “Wrigley Forever” is my favorite go to dish! 5 stars all around 🎉
Never in my life eating here again. The food wasn’t bad or anything the Hispanic girl at the front tho in a pink shirt night shift around 7:15, yea she’s racist against African Americans. On top of that her attitude is horrible she wouldn’t even let customers go to the bathroom like what?? I’ve never had a bad experience at any restaurant like this before and I’ve wrote countless reviews on many high standard five star restaurants and she didn’t even consider who she was addressing or talking too completely rude behavior and unsatisfactory customer service. I don’t even know what to say just horrible you’ve definitely lost a customer.
So delicious and great atmosphere. Service was also wonderful. I really enjoyed the crispy chicken pad thai! Cant wait to come back!
One of my favorite places in Chicago. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile from the owner and he tells you to sit where ever you like. It’s a small restaurant but the portions are massive, service is great. The owner is so happy to see customers and it is felt in the food and design of the restaurant. You can really tell that this is what the owner loves to do. It’s hidden behind all of the big restaurants in bars in wrigglyville making it this calm place in the middle of a very busy area. The menu has a variety of authentic Thai dishes and Thai/American dishes that im pretty sure are cozy noodles original recipes. Highly recommend.
Cozy is aptly named! It’s truly cozy right down to the little heart shaped bowls for the dipping sauce. The service is outstanding, the food is phenomenal (and QUICK!), and the decor is incredibly fetching. Do not sleep on the Bamee Noodles! And be sure to try one of their smoothies because you will not find a better accompaniment to your dinner.
Heads up- they’re a cash only establishment, but there is an ATM on the premises.
We come here all the time as it is cheap and delicious. They have lots of Chicago cubs related furniture and the tables are sewing machines which I think is awesome. The service is kind and productive at all times and the food tastes amazing no matter what you order!
Tip for newcomers: if you don’t have change to pay for cozy as they are a cash only restaurant then just ask for to go because they do cash or card for take away but only cash for dine in.
Great food, great atmosphere but even better customer service 😁 Don't hesitate to eat or order food from here. You will love it. FYI, They take cash only for dine in.
We wanted to buy some time after a Cubs game before getting on the train with the crowd. Somehow we stumbled into the best place on earth.
My mom has been eating Tom kha coconut soup for years and has a favorite place on the California coast to get it. She said this was better. The best there is. So that's crazy.
Crispy. Pad. Thai... 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Is this a thing I didn't know about or is it the specialty at this location?? Anyway. Absurd how delicious and full of texture and flavor. 10/10
My husband and I love everything from here. They're also so accommodating to swap regular noodles for gluten free noodles and use gluten free soy sauce. It's our go to for comfort asian food.
Best General Tso Chicken I've ever had boba drink was amazing 10/10 👏
I came in here randomly being a lost tourist needing to charge my phone and sit down out of the rain and heat and then stayed and got food.I am so glad I randomly found this gem! This is the best! The people are so kind! It is clean the food is amazing and flavorful big portions too and the atmosphere is 10/10 Another 100%!
I would recommend it.I would come here for a date birthday a fast lunch a long dinner early late etc.I really really really loved it! Thank you! I will be back.
Cozy is an absolute gem. I’ve gotten take out and dined in for years and years and I have never been disappointed in the food, service, or atmosphere. Chef Tee is a legend!
Had the Crazy Noodles. Cold, bland and inedible. 4 vegetables in the whole dish. Egg rolls were cold and soggy. Loved the cucumber salad and that was about it.
Cozy not only has amazing food but they love what they do and are passionate about it. The decor is like an art exhibit. The interior design is always changing and creative.
I have been dining here since 2004 and was just back this past week and the crispy Pad Thai was still amazing and they have the absolute best Crab Rangoon in Chicago/ The world. Do yourself a favor and eat here if you love delicious food.
Best green chicken curry I've ever had 😋
Delicious food and extremely nice staff
This place is great. It’s fun. It’s decorated in a fun way. The staff is really nice. There were obviously some regulars in there who knew the staff well. The food was excellent and a bit more creative than standard. We got lucky and found parking on the street no problem both times we went.
Decent Thai restaurant in Lakeview. I ordered the Crazy Noodles (similar in taste to Pad See Ew) and the shrimp potstickers. The potstickers were the standout; they tasted fresh and delicious! The Crazy Noodles were fine. Overall, not a bad option if you're near Wrigley Field and craving Thai food!
Cozy Noodles has been my favorite restaurant for the last 15 years. I love everything from the food to ambiance and of course the wonderful Chef Tee and his wife Julie. The food is out of the world especially the fried rice, crab rangoon, pad knee mao, and literally everything on their menu. I will keep coming back to Cozy Noodles as often as I can & you should too!
This is one of my favorite places to eat in the area! Everything I have tried has been top notch. I could eat their Tonkatsu Ramen or Crazy Noodles any day of the week! They never disappoint, cannot wait to come back!
Love this place! They've been around forever. The atmosphere is iconic and truly cozy. Service is good and food is always consistently tasty and fresh- obsessed with the crab rangoon. Also delicious for takeout! Don't think twice!
It's a nice experience with good food and a vibrant atmosphere. The garlic noodles were especially good. Please note that it's cash only!
loved the food and boba! owner was super nice and gave us a free bear cup 🧸
We were happy to find Cozy Noodles. We sat on there small patio on a nice Saturday. The Pad Thai. Orange Chicken and Crab Rangoon were all excellent. Also a nice selection of smoothies with Boba as an option. Cash only with ATM on-site!
If my childhood was a restaurant, it would be this place. Nothing like eating fried rice surrounded by baseball memorabilia and toys with Thomas the tank engine playing on the TV (I'm not joking, it was). Service was really good and the owner was incredibly friendly. Just remember that they take CASH only, but I think they have an ATM so it's no biggie.
I love Cozy Noodles. For many years I would exclusively order the shrimp pad Thai because it was so good. Once in a while I’ll order something different to try other menu items and they never disappoint. Everything is always so flavorful and delicious. The service is always very positive and helpful. I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. If you’re in Wrigleyville definitely check this place out! Chef Tee is one of the best people you’ll meet.
Chef Tee is always adding new and delicious items to the menu. My current favorites are the Thai style basil chicken, crab rangoon, Addison red line, crispy pad Thai, and the peanuts. The portions for the price are the best I’ve seen. Truly a special place.
Food is excellent. The restaurant is the cutest restaurant.very retro in a good way.very welcoming
I love Cozy! I’ve been going since they have opened and Chef Tee is so welcoming and nice. One thing that is unique about cozy is their crispy noodle dishes which are super tasty and fun.
Loving place🤍
I was there to pick food and they was very rude to me and they don't know how long it will take to get ready food . When I was I asking them how long they was very rude to me . Customer service is very poor to this restaurant.
This place is the best. The food is incredible and the staff is so sweet. Heads up- it’s cash only for dine in
More crab ragoons please :)
Be very careful before paying your bill.
Everything in the menu is delicious. Try it all!
Delightful establishment for enjoying authentic Thai cuisine near Wrigley Field. This cozy cafe is extensively decorated with baseball and nostalgic memorabilia covering every wall surface including a tastefully adorned bathroom (right??). Where else can one find such an extensive selection of vintage metal toys, signed baseballs and almost full size statues of Betty Boop and Elvis outside of a museum! The food is excellent - do NOT miss the Pad Thai and super savory Addison Redline chicken noodle dish with coconut milk sauce and chili oil. The egg rolls were light and not greasy. I’m from San Francisco and can appreciate excellent Thai food. Chef Tee runs a special establishment here and oversees the operation in person to maintain the high quality. He’s fun and approachable so take the time to say Hello. Guy Fieri would have a blast with Chef Tee if he visited. I plan to return many times to soak up the scene as my DIL was just accepted at local grad school. Batter up and make your game end with a Thai!
Great Thai food in a fun atmosphere!
BEST THAI FOOD IVE EVER HAD!!! my family and I went to this restaurant randomly because it was close by and had noodles, when we arrived instantly I felt positive good energy radiating from the restaurant and cheff tee. we were seated right away and when we ordered our food came out in less than 5 minutes. I ordered the vegetable fried rice and fried tofu(mind you I’m very picky about my fried rice) and both dishes were stupendous! genuinely the best fried rice I’ve ever been served it was delicious. the entire restaurant has a fun vintage vibe and the head chef and his employees were nothing but kind and went over the top to make sure we liked our food and we had everything we needed. this place genuinely had the best Thai food I have ever had and probably is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Not only did I leave with a more than satisfied stomach, but also a really fun and positive experience unlike any other I’ve had when eating out. I don’t even live in Chicago but I will definitely be eating here every time I visit. If I could give this place a 100 star rating I would!! I absolutely recommend going here!!! they really do love each of their customers and they are EXTREMELY cozy! 10/10!!!
Crazy noodles were extremely bland. Didn’t taste like there was much seasoning at all. Tom Kar Soup had an unexplainable flavor that we couldn’t enjoy and thus didn’t eat. Curry fried rice was fortunately decently enjoyable so we managed to fill up on that alone. I just wouldn’t order from here again, there is much better Thai food in lakeview. Bummed to have had such a disappointing meal, this was my second attempt eating cozy. :/
Cozy Noodle is my most reliable go-to restaurant for take-out, and it never disappoints. The Crab Rangoon is a crispy delight, the Red Curry is a burst of flavorful warmth, and the Thai Iced Tea is the perfect accompaniment. Dependable and comforting, Cozy Noodle is a reliable choice for those seeking a cozy night in.
Прекрасное место.единственное в Чикаго кафе с оформлением.хорошее обслуживание
This is the best place!! I’ve walked past it so many times and I went in for the first time tonight they are so kind!! Will be returning for sure
My first time here I was amazed. I really love all the decor they have. Even in the bathroom the decor was pretty awesome. I definitely recommended this place to some friends. I will be coming back more often.
Pad see ew the last time I bought it was barely seasond. I paid all that money for noodles, over cooked chicken and broccoli in just literal vegetable oil. Never paying for that again.
I was craving Pad Khee Mao and went here on a whim. I was floored.
The service was wonderful. I was taken care of by a delightful employee and then delivered lunch by the chef who was also so nice. The atmosphere, ambiance, vibe, whatever you want to call it, was very fun, nostalgic, and interesting.
I had pot stickers and pad khee mao. Both were impeccable. This meal was in my top five favorite meals of all time.
I went here on a whim because it was close by and I’ve craved it since I left.
10/10 recommend.
Husband and I went on a date here many years ago.just went back to relive
Did not disappoint. My crispy pad se eiw was delicious, and my husband's paneer curry was so good we could'nt stop burning our tongue. we just wanted more right away! Baby egg rolls, we're cute. Next time, I'll get some other apps, too. It's definitely a must try!
Had a nice lunch here! We were seated quickly and the menu had many of the classic Thai restaurant options. Note: the restaurant is cash only! I didn't have cash so had to go to the local Chase branch nearby. We ordered vegetarian egg rolls, Pad Cashew with Tofu, and Pad See Ew with chicken. The entrees were pretty good, and the egg rolls were stellar - highly recommend! I also got the Thai Iced Tea which was great. Overall a nice place to stop in with fun décor on the walls!
Pathetic service, they keep on saying 5 minutes and then make you wait 1 hour
Very rude lady
A terrible place! Disgusting food, I was poisoned by Golden Noodles. I don't recommend this place to anyone!!!
This is such a neighborhood gem...if you haven't been, you're missing out. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is so fun, and the food is supreme. Order everything...the orange chicken, the red curry, the shumai, the pad woon sen, the list goes on. I don't think I can pick a favorite because they are all so good. Do yourself a favor and visit...you'll thank me later :)
Cash only
Incredible place! If you want to know what kindness really feels like and how businesses should run then go there.
Lady owner is very rude... i do not recommend anyone to go there.
I did not like the food. Staff service is very bad... i will never come here.
Excelente comida y servicio, me gusto mucho.
Todo el personal muy amable
I work in the area at the Newport Theater and everyone here literally treats me like a family member. They are working their butts off every single time and the food is consistently excellent. I’m happy to regularly eat here and tell others to give them your business.
Terrible experience. Placed an order for lunch delivery to my hotel 15 minutes away, woman answering phone simply says, "Hello?" so unsure if you've actually reached the restaurant. She hands phone over to a man who seemed very friendly. Asked my phone number twice, repeated it back, said food would arrive in 40 minutes and the driver would call me to meet him at the front door. After 70 minutes, I call and get the same man on the phone. I ask about my order to which he replies, "It was delivered 30 minutes ago, we lost your number so couldn't call. I replied, "What? You lost my number? So the food has been sitting for a half hour and is now cold and soggy? What terrible..." at which time he hung up the phone on me. Deplorable service. And the food was cold, rolls soggy, everything bland and unseasoned, no condiments provided, a truly disappointing and unpleasant experience. Would never order from here again.
Great food! Great portion sizes!
Aside from the very cool tin toy collection decor, the food and service was great. It was my first time there and I wasn’t disappointed. I’d been battling a rare serious infection and had completely lost my appetite. Unable to eat for months I’d been seeking a meal that would “kick-start” my appetite. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Pad Thai and it was AMAZING. This is my new favorite Asian cuisine spot.
There was a live worm found in my soup. The owner immediately grabbed the bowl away from me and said, “It’s organic that’s why there’s a worm there” and charged me for my full meal. He said because there was a worm that meant that their food was “fresh.” Super gross and the staff treated me like I was the crazy one when they admitted it was a worm multiple times - assuming this happens pretty often. Do not come here. I went one time previously and my whole meal tasted like metallic and burnt.
Неприятный персонал
Love this place! Everything I’ve ordered is flavorful and fresh. Fun restaurant decor - heads up cash only for dine in.
If i could give this place 0 stars, I would. We dined in thinking this place would be delicious (which it was) thai food.
The lady owner got super offended when asked about pricing on the menu about a simple side dish. She scoffed and then left not giving us any attention the rest of the evening. Got our food in a timely manner then when the check comes around all hell breaks loose (in front of everyone in the restaurant).
Suddenly its cash only(when dining in) and costs for food are more than what is advertised on the menu.. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE PAYING. The lady owner slipped the bill on the table and then ignored us for the rest of the time (filling up waters for other patrons around us, making sure everyone else was taken care of but us) When questioned about the check chef Tee went ballistic and scolded us to leave in front of the whole restaurant. The lady owner said “he is so annoying” okay??
Safe to say- just go to penny noodles right down the street- you get quick service and don’t get the hassle we got from this place. Cozy was very good food wise but is not honest with their pricing on the menu.
We sat and enjoyed a quick dinner before a concert and the food was very good! Fresh and made to order. The staff was so nice and helpful. Wonderful Weigleyville spot!
Delicious food. Interesting location full of kitschy memorabilia. Chef Tee is a vibrant character!
Spicy Basil Chicken is my favorite dish here. Service is the best. Definitely a place to checkout if your in Wrigleyville
Been coming here since I moved to the area pretty much every other week at least. Very good and consistent and the people who work there are always a delight and very kind. Great local spot for some fast and filling food!
Great food, service, and nice COZY restaurant. Definitely Coming back
To dine in, you need Cash! That I found weird, and the insane amount of collectibles on the shelf. The staff is so courteous, the food is fresh hot and yum. It feels a little congested, but haven't seen it completely packed. You feel at home while dining here- good vibe.
What a great place for Thai noodles and more! Chef Tee is the best! BYOB
Love this spot, great food and definitely cozy
The food here is amazing. Everything on their menu is phenomenal. They're my go-to for delicious food in the area. Love their garlic chicken noodle dish, and their coconut bubble tea is wonderful. Everyone who works at Cozy is super nice and they go out of their way to remember the names of regulars.
Owner/waitress rudely told my family, "She should stay home if she is so afraid of people!!" We sat outside, & I tried not to get near anyone, incl her, b/c I knew I could be contagious. I tried to move away when she got near, & she snapped at me. My 1st day out in public after TWO bouts of Covid! Maybe still contagious. Maybe I shouldn't have cared if she caught it?
Never came by to see how food was. Not much help w/menu. I won't go back.
Fried rice, chow mein, and orange chicken were just ok but the shrimp I added for $2.25 in chow mein and tom yum soup was not in good quality. If this is a Thai place, I would give 1 star for food but the menu and flavors are fusion. Food came out very quick. Prices are subject to change and the prices online or on the menu is not updated. I think as of now, most of the menu is plus $2. Orange chicken is $14.95, shrimp chow mein $13.50, beef fried rice $13.95, shrimp tom yum $8.75. Staff was friendly.
The owner was lovely, and the decorations were so neat! He talked to us about his family and even offered us samples of the different foods. If you are ever in Chicago, this is the place to dine!
We have been going to Cozy Noodles for close to 20 years. The owners Ti and Julie are warm, caring and very friendly. They make you feel like you’re part of their family.! Oh and of course the food is delicious. It’s not mention as an item for recommendation but my favorite when the weather is cold is dumpling noodles!
Great people great food!
Had an incredible time at "Cozy Noodles & Rice" in Chicago! The eclectic decor added a touch of whimsy to the dining experience, and being within walking distance from Wrigley Field Stadium was so convenient. The food was absolutely delightful, catering to all tastes with perfectly cooked dishes. Keep in mind they take cash only, but they have an ATM on site incase you forget. If you're in Chicago, this charming spot is a must-visit for a flavorful and visually appealing adventure! 🍜🍚🌈
This is easily the most endearing little restaurant in all of Wrigley. Such a gem! It’s cash only so be ready for that (wish it weren’t!) but the atmosphere is great and food was delish. Family owned and they have some family oriented stuff on the walls which was cute. The chef is a marathon runner and he came over and talked to us about it and he was such a genuinely nice guy. Really enjoyed this spot!
Everything in this place are perfect
Excellent food, quick service, large portions for an affordable price. A great option if you’re visiting Wrigley and don’t feel like paying $15 for a hot dog.
Food was good, service was decent, friendly family-run business vibes. Great ambience, very unique.
Reducing a star because 1. The menu had lower prices than our final bill, and that’s unwarranted 2. They upcharge for making dishes vegan even though they end up using cheaper ingredients like tofu, doesn’t make sense
Cozy used to be one of my fav places to grab a bite. Over the last few years, the quality has gone downhill. Orders are inconsistent from one order to the next, with some weeks the food is spot on and others, it's just bad. Basil chicken "go easy on the peppers" leads to no peppers or spice but did leave a bowl of ground up chicken. The white rice was insanely dry. And the lime they included might have already been starting to rotten. The baby egg rolls were just not cooked like normal and since they don't travel very well, they were pretty limp.
Maybe it's a new chef, maybe it's just a result of the pandemic, but with the prices continually to jump and food quality going down, Cozy is quickly loosing one of it's top go-to spots on my list.
* In response to Chef Tee's comment, I did NOT ask for a full refund. That was offered to me by someone that worked at the restaurant. If you are going to call out a customer, at least get the story straight.
Really nice little place!
