Stopped for the lunch special based on the reviews, unfortunately they no longer offer lunch specials.
This is my first time at this establishment so I asked the cashier what they recommend and got the Chicken Pad Thai. They were very helpful when ordering and also asked if I had a peanut allergy because the dish contained peanuts which was a kind gesture.
First off the service was quick, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The food was DELICIOUS and full of so much flavor. Pricing is reasonable for the amount of food you get.
I am glad I decided to randomly stop by, will definitely be coming back whenever I am in the area.
This used to be my favorite place for Pad Thai but the last three years the quality of service has been really declining. I always order the same thing and everytime I’ve ordered lately it’s been so different. Last time my PadSeeEw beef was crispy and well done, spicy and great balance of sauce . This time it was so pale and dry and not spicy at all. We tried calling multiple times but the number is disconnected so my boyfriend went back to try to ask for them to fix it but no one at the front spoke English. He came back with chili peppers in Vinegar and that made the whole thing worse . I wanted to cry. Money down the drain . I will be looking for a new Thai spot.
Food here is fresh and the service is good too. I had for the first time 4 days ago and had to reorder it today lol. Definitely try the curry Singapore and shrimp fried rice it's a must
The man answering the phone is super rude. I believe he said his name was Lee. They basically sent me plain drunken noodles with barely any tofu or vegetables. And the miso soup is 99% broth that tastes fishy and only has a few tiny pieces of tofu. Don’t order from this place. The food and the customer service are awful
The only good things are from the appetizer/drink section!! The egg rolls, chicken skewers, and Thai iced coffee.
I've been here many times and literally the only thing that is good from here is their chicken satay curry skewers from the appetizer menu. They are grilled and well flavored with the sticky marinade they use. But the portion size is extremely small for the price of almost $10. Wish they had a larger portion as an entree.
I've tried their popular Bangkok spicy chicken and it was underwhelming and tasted like orange chicken, nothing special and over priced for the quality. I didn't get much veggies in the dish either just 3 broccoli florets which was disappointing considering the dish is $14 something dollars. Picture below. Do NOt recommend!!
I've also ordered their green and red curry dishes and they are mediocre, do NOT recommend. Not spicy more on the creamy side.
Tried their tum yum soup it's basically broth, button mushrooms, and small pieces of chicken breast thinly sliced. The broth is very flavorful but the mushrooms and chicken didn't taste too appetizing. Would not recommend either unless you just want to drink the broth, which is good.
Their Thai tea is a hit or miss sometimes it's good as in not too sweet and other times it's overly sweet.
The Thai iced coffee is good very creamy and delicious!! Must try! Pic below with egg rolls.
Egg rolls are great!! Big and tasty. Pic below.
Overall, this place is disappointing and idk how they got good reviews.
I ordered the coconut shrimp, it was almost 9 dollars and I only got 3 pieces. It was such a disappointment. The shrimp itself was rubbery and chewy and definitely not worth it especially for the price.
Been going to this place for some years. A true hidden gem, some of the best Thai food in the city, and the most humble. panang curry is incredible, so silky and savory and the perfect amount of sweetness. Basil noodles are really tasty. the wok cooking is on point, and their tofu is particularly delicious.

So fast and yum!! Also super cheap for the portion size and good taste
Green curry and pad ginger with chicken entrees checked all the yummy boxes.
Always grate food
My go to Thai place

Very little meat and food portion for what your paying for !! Ok place but for prices feel like being ripped off!!

Everything we ordered straight blew my jocks off. Pad Kaphrao, Pad Kee Mai etc. Looking forward to trying their curry’s next. Ordered via Uber Eats and I told them to not make it white people spicy and make it Lv5 > Lv10 and they DELIVERED. THANK YOU BLUE FROG
When I considered moving to Chicago a year ago, this was one of the first restaurants I had the chance to try. It was genuinely one of the best spots I had the chance to visit and I was so pleased with the food in terms of the price and quality. I came a second time during my trip and ever since, it’s been on my mind whenever I considered moving to Chicago. I’m really grateful this is one of the first spots I had the chance to visit and I’m so excited to get to live in Chicago and be able to visit Blue Frog again. Definitely such a gem in Chicago.

We were really looking forward to finding a good Thai restaurant, and after a particularly stressful workday, we stumbled upon this gem. Ordering Pad Kee Mao with beef and Green curry with chicken, we were not disappointed. Both dishes were delicious, and we devoured them on the spot! We forgot to take a photo of food. Being fans of spicy food, we requested them to be extra spicy, and they didn't disappoint. The portions were generous with ample beef and chicken, and we especially enjoyed the addition of eggplants in the curry. Additionally, the prices were reasonable. It's worth noting that this place is more geared towards take-out, so calling ahead before picking up your food would be a good idea. Overall, it was a fantastic find
Love ordering delivery. Their pad Thai and green curry are amazing.
It's pretty good
Take-out only, exceptional food tasting amazing
A little gem hidden in plain sight. And after years of frequenting Blue Frog it is still my number 1 Thai restaurant in the area! Great team and service and always great food!
Rice is super good!! Always get it for lunch with coworkers
I've only eaten from here twice and have not been disappointed thus far. The portion sizes are to be expected but the quality and flavor is beyond my expectations. Everything was fresh and tasty and acceptably priced.
I picked this place because all I wanted was Thai curry. Might be one of the best curries I have ever had, my friends also got the Bangkok chicken which was unbelievable and the Thai fried rice was great. If I lived here, I’d go weekly
Was a bit disappointed with the food here. We ordered the pad Thai noodles and they were a little mushy and dry. Probably wouldn’t eat here again.
Highly recomend coconut shrimp and red curry
Food was AMAZING!

Always reliable great taste and good portions. Everything I've tried on the menu I've liked.
This place has the BEST pad Thai that I have ever had. Me and my friend tried it randomly and now I tell everyone about it because it is so delicious. I always get the tofu pad thai and it is incredible!! So flavorful it’s insane. The shumai and egg rolls are also delicious!! staple place you gotta try
Good customer service but the food left little to be desired.
I ordered the Thai Basil Fried Rice, which was "OK" flavor wise but way too oily.
I also had the Seafood Madness Entree which was not worth the price at all. It came with about 7 pieces of Shrimp, 3 "squid" rings and I saw no scallops. Received mostly peppers and bamboo shoots.
I expect seafood to cost more generally, but this dish wasn't worth that price point.

It was good Thai good but not spectacular (I’ve spent time in Thailand). I thought their basil pork was great!
I’ve experienced many great Thai restaurants in the city and thought I would give Blue Frog a try. I ordered the popular basic dish. Pad Thai w/Bf, when I opened container. The noodles was in a gravy & super soggy, and not the normal Thai noodles. Also Pad Thai is stir fried? It was more soup like! Tasted extremely bland. Is this type of Thai noodles norm? However Tom soup was mediocre!
This place is always so so good. When I'm at work I order from here to take home because there's nothing good or even close to this place in the south suburbs. I get it to go through Uber eats and my family always enjoy their meals. I love the egg rolls as well as the pancit. Try this place out, it's worth the money and taste very very good. Only place I used to like was joyees but they've gone downhill in recent years
I love their Chicken Pad Tai with the spring rolls. The place is small. Trouble finding parking.
Bangkok chicken is crispy and delicious but the sauce it comes with wasn't spicy at all. It was way way way too sweet. For $15, I regretted getting it. Fast service
Food was good, not expensive, Lot of vegan options as well, but no dine in and takeaways only. Parking was a hassle had to drive around a bit to find one.
Not enough food for 12.99 a plate. Still hungry after that.
Each meal prepared to order. Great flavor. Great prices. Haven't had a single meal that I didn't enjoy. Absolutely delicious. We are regulars
I ordered the garlic chicken and it was delicious and savory. The rice was just the right amount of sticky and combined with the broth of the chicken, creates a very tasty meal!
RUN don't walk to Blue Frog Thai Noodle and Rice. The food here is SPECTACULAR, out of this world Delicious, if I lived closer I would eat here EVERYDAY. So much flavor packed in each dish, I don't know how they do it. You should definitely try this food!! Yumm!!
The best Panang Curry in the world I've had it in different states and different countries. This right here is king.
I got food from here for the first time on UberEats and it was delicious! Ordered a spicy chicken pad Thai, veggie egg rolls and for dessert the mango sticky rice. Very satisfied with the food, highly recommend!
Food was good and tasty will definitely be trying some new dish soon.
The chicken pad thai is FIIIIIIRRREEE
Ordered
“Pad Kee Mao Noodle”
Received “Pad See Ew”
Terribly disappointed… especially because I was looking forward to it after 6 hour drive home.
Absolutely delicious! I try to take each of the reviews I read on here with a grain of salt and decided to give this place a try. I ordered the pancit with chicken and although nothing compares to homemade, this pancit was top notch!! They give you a decent sized portion. The whole order was very well packaged and basically everything was perfect. Delicious thai iced tea, vegetable egg rolls, we will be ordering again in the future. Pure awesomeness and quality food here.
Hot and tasty!
This is one of my favorite places to order takeout in Bridgeport! The food is always delicious and there are great vegan options- the curry dishes are my favorite!
Really good food and very fast. Definitely a good neighborhood place for Thai food
Finish orders fast, delicious food
Thought I’d give this place a shot since my favorite Thai spot had closed down. Unfortunately, the food was pretty bland compared to the Thai food that I am used to.
The red curry had very little spice and tasted almost watered down, maybe because it didn’t have much coconut milk? The Tom Yum soup was mostly broth that didn’t taste very flavorful either.
I might have caught them on an off night because most of the other reviews of this place are positive, but I don’t think I’ll be back.
They're my go-to thai restaurant when I need comfort food. Against my will, I have many dietary restrictions and get a choice in spice level. I've been ordering for 2 years, they never cooked my order incorrectly and the quality is very consistent
Mostly unprofessional; doesn't seem to care about customer service.
Food is almost always delicious and decent serving sizes. I love it
I’ve been looking for a good pad Thai substitute for Oporto House closing down and omg this is the spot! The paid Thai is even better. And if you add the homemade sweet and sour sauce for .50 it levels it up even more! The egg rolls were so good too with that sauce. And the Thai coffee was amazing! Perfect balance of sweetness.
Very sugary. If that’s your thing you will like this place
The food was delicious! A very good price for excellent quality food!
Please do not go to this place and for sure do not order food from them! I ordered food for delivery and when I received my order there was one entree missing. When I called the restaurant to let them know about it, the guy who answered the phone immediately started arguing with me. Saying he was the one who packed it and there are even cameras in their kitchen. All of which mean nothing to me. I can't see the cameras and I don't know this person. All I wanted was my full order. I don't waste time trying to get free food, I just wanted what I paid for. With all of the food options around, I will never go back or order from Blue Frog Thai noodle and rice again.
Excellent food, kind, courteous service. Definitely go-to on the southside. Some of the best Thai food I have ever tasted.
Just got my uber eats order. Ordered shrimp Pad Thai and they sent Tofu Pad Thai. The receipt reads Shrimp. What went wrong?
Great service, great food!
Food is delicious
The egg rolls were delicious, I ate them with the sweet and sour sauce. We also grabbed the chicken satay, the calamari was horrible. The pepper steak was great, didn't like the sweet basil dish at all I had chicken and beef. I couldn't taste any garlic in that dish what a bummer. Overall they were ok. Sorry no photos this was a pick up order.
The last 2-3 times it has taken awhile (over an hour) to prepare the food, which has been disappointing especially because the food is great. Order early!
Omg the egg rolls was really good do yourselves a favor and get a least two orders
Great place authentic
The best Thai place around.
Love this place! They have large portions and the taste is great. I’ve had several of their dishes and enjoyed them all.
I’ve only ordered through Uber eats and I’ve never been disappointed.
Food was good and the service was very good but the place could use a cleaning and some updating.
The food here is actually really good. The portion size is large. I ordered off Uber eats and am very happy
When I order from here it is usually off of Uber Eats. The food is consistent and delicious.
It's not bad. I would go again.
The food is good and the people are cool
Excellent service. Food is consistently delicious. Love their pad see ew and Singapore noodles. Used to live in the south loop and missed my local Thai restaurant. Now I’m so happy that I found this place!!
Hidden gem, highly recommend the PANANG CURRY and the Pad Kee Mao. Really great as veggie options. Always tastes fresh and is amazing for the price.
- not so much the fried appetizers though, just skip those ;)
The food was delicious and I ate it all - Service is prompt.
Definitely worth checking out.
Good food
Good food, quick and friendly service!
Horrible horrible place. Ordered food and had a fre bites, bit down on something had, it was a small rock or piece of gravel. Cracked my tooth called the restaurant they didn't care one but called ubrr eats also didn't care. Will never order from here again!
👍🏽👌🏽
Amazing place!!! That green curry is delicious!
Very happy we found this very small place while traveling through Chicago and looking for a good Thai meal. I have the lunch special will my boss had a regular entree and both of them were fantastic. I would highly recommend scouting this place out and checking out their food!
Love the Blue Frog for Lunch
Amazing Thai food at a great price
Terrible. There was hardly any beef in my pad Thai. 2 stringy shrimps in my Tom kha. There was no lemongrass or anything really in there otherwise just some mushrooms and that soup cost like 695. I'll never go back
Hey a Thai place in Bridgeport. Score! This place is easy to miss because it has a blue awning above it for Archer Cafe, but the window has a big, you guessed it, blue frog on it.
If you’re on the hunt for some fast and casual Thai, this is it. Reasonably priced, extremely fast turnaround, and pretty easy to get to. The place itself is small with only a few tables, so probably a hint that this is more of a delivery and pickup kind of joint.
I have to come back and try some other things on the menu, because there’s even pho on the menu. Not expecting much, but I’ll take what I can get.
Great food great service.
Pad Thai & basil fried rice are delicious
Love everything here!
Very small seating area. Almost passed it up because the awning says "Archer Cafe". Great tasting food, friendly, also byob which was great.
Disappointed and Duped is what we’ll title this review.
After being faithful patrons our most recent visit was the nail in the coffin. We waited forever for everything. Forever to order, to receive our food and then to get the check.
There’s like 5 tables here what gives??
After we received the check I noticed they applied a gratuity of $8. Excuse me?? It was LUNCH for TWO PEOPLE. I told the hostess I am happy to tip, and always do but to add it to the check for two people is surely a mistake. She confirmed the charge was valid and standard. Ha. Okay.
Hope it was worth it to lose faithful customers over $8 that you would’ve gotten anyways.
Very good food when not so busy...
Love LOVE this place! One of my favorites♥️
Good good
We ordered dinner at 5:30 pm. At 7 I called to check the status of the delivery. The person who answered the phone never asked for my name, simply said “we’re crazy busy! Your order is next! I cannot tell you when!” And hung up. At 7:45, I tried calling again but there was no answer so we cooked dinner. Lo and behold, food was delivered at 8:15, nearly 3 hours after it had been ordered.
Very good food! It took a little while, but the food was hot and fresh. Went here for lunch with a baby. It's not much of a sit down restaurant, but that was perfect for us. The staff was very nice!
The food is always very good, and the ingredients are fresh. The owner is really nice.
Awesome
Very good crab ragoon. Green curry is good and a little too sweet. Pad Thai and pad see wu good as well.
Ok believe me when I say I never write stuff on here. I live 10 minutes from this place and never even knew it existed. I pass by it ALL the time. We came across it on Google maps and saw the reviews. Let's just say the reviews aren't lying. Loved it so much. I've had Thai food plenty of times, but when this place asked me if I wanted my food spicy I knew this place was gonna be great! Delicious, will be back again and again and again.
First time I ordered from here, the shrimp was over cooked. I don't think that I would consider ordering again unless I'm in the area.
Awesome. Easy to order online. Good, quality food.
Pad Thai was great! Made fresh with no use of instant, orange goo sauce many Thai places are using to cut corners....(which contains soy sauce and gluten ingredients that make me sick.) Nice to know there is a place in the neighborhood that does it right!
I ordered Blue Frog through DoorDash delivery. The delivery was earlier than expected and the food was amazing!!! The flavor was so on point. I got the Pad See Ew and my husband got a rice dish. We are definitely going to order from them more.
Intimate setting, friendly staff, good value,
flavorful crab Rangoon. Definitely worth a drop in.
Great pad thai.
Love this place! Owner is very attentive and the place is quaint...4 tables and 2 stools at the window counter if you're dining in. Some of my favorites are the Chicken Pad See Ew and the Chicken Pad Woon Sen. The Thai Iced Teas are always tasty!
I liked this spot! It was right around the corner from where we were staying and we stopped in for Pho. Very friendly staff. Took good care of us. Would recommend.
NIce people but Definitely NOT authentic Thai food
Probably some of the best food I have had in Bridgeport. Highly recommend stopping by.
Great food
Tried it for the first time and was very impressed. We had the lunch special (available 11-3) which was a great deal. The crab rangoon and veggie egg roll were solid starters. The beef Thai fried rice was rich and flavorful. The green curry on rice was spicy (as desired) and had complex flavors. Overall a solid addition to the neighborhood, not to mention a delicious Thai experience in its own right.
Loved the Green Tea Mochi Ice Cream :) I've also tried the Chicken Basil from here and the flavor is spot on with the perfect amount of spice to make your nose tingle! Will be coming back for quick, tasty Thai food :D
Great Pepper Steak!!!The perfect rice to steak ratio.
Friendly staff
Yummy Thai food in Bridgeport. Is a bit confusing because they still have the archer cafe sign but that is the right place! Highly recommend the pad kee mao or pad see ew with the tom yum soup. Delicious!
