For my first time here, my friend and I ordered many things off the menu to try. The lovely owner did make sure we knew that each food item came with alot of food, and she was right! Each dish we ordered was served nice a hot, everything was fresh and super flavorful! I wish I could share some pictures with my review. We definitely had plenty of left overs. Everything is super reasonably priced for what you get! We will definitely be back.

This restaurant is located near a university that welcomes students from all over the world, including many Indians. If the management has issues with serving Indians, they should reconsider operating in such a diverse area.

I hope the management takes steps to train their staff on treating all customers with basic respect and courtesy. While the food is good, the customer service here is appalling and makes me hesitant to return.

Simply the best thai food I have had till date. Staff is amazing. I have tried their vegetable spring rolls, deep fried tofu, basil fried rice, vegetable fried rice and sticky rice with mango and Coconut milk. All amazing dishes. Specially the vegetable spring rolls and 5he dessert sticky rice with coconut milk. Ask for help if you are not sure what spice level you can handle. I eat very spicy food but could only handle spice level 3.

Jungle curry is amazing! Very aromatic, like a clear broth curry soup served with rice. Drunken noodles have great flavor but could use more actual noodles. Spring rolls could use more tofu and bean sprouts and less lettuce in my opinion, great sauce on the side.

The customer service was extremely disappointing. I hope the management improves their staff training because customer service matters just as much as the food. Would not recommend based on service alone.

My very favorite spot! The best green curry ever. The owner is so incredibly friendly and helpful if you are unsure about what to order. She is also cautious with dietary needs.

Food. Literally our favorite place to eat in town. There has never been anything we ordered and did not love. The curries are the best in my personal opinion but I also delight in the pineapple fried rice, pad Thai, and orange chicken.

Now, on to service, Mao runs the restaurant along with her family! These are some of the nicest ladies who are playful AND love my children. The only drawback in service is that when its busy (often on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) they are focused workers so it's occasionally hard to get her attention and water refills. Mao is not one to waste time and dilly dally. Nevertheless, it's worth it.

Atmosphere? Delightful and clean. The coolest people eat here. I kid you not. It's a college town so you'll find students and professors alike eat here. Local business owners like myself and some others eat here often.

And again, the ladies on staff are doting towards children and infants. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

My wife and I stopped in to try this restaurant. We were very pleased with our decision. As we walked in we were immediately seated. And shortly there after our server brought us each a water, which we don't see that anyplace anymore. My wife ordered mixed vegetable thai stir-fry with chicken, no spice, and was very please with her order. I ordered the thai ginger stir-fry with shrimp, extra spicy. It was some of the best I've ever had. Heat level was spot on. Atmosphere was good, food was great. As was the service, though a little slow, due to the lunch crowd, and the lack of servers.
I highly recommend, and will now become a regular customer when we are in the area!

Food not very good. Ordered shrimp pad Thai very bland. No spices. Red curry ok not great. Summer rolls looked terrible broken rice sheets. Not what I was expecting.

My family and I around this time last year ate at this restaurant. We decided to come back because of how good the food was from last year. As we entered the building, the host was very rude and refusing our service. She says instantly that they’re booked. I understand that she was busy but she was rude and very dismissive. When trying to ask her a question she snapped back with a rude response. There was a gentleman in front of us and had asked for a water and the worker rudely rolls her eyes, and turned her back. They need to replace her with someone else who has more patience and great customer service. We were very disappointed and had been looking forward at eating at this place, just to get a rude worker. We will not be back!

Siam thai is one of my favorite food store from last two years ago. But the thing is the manager ( owner ) is turning bad with behavior when comes Indian students and for rest of the people she is talking with smile. I don’t know what happened but show some respect to Indian students too . The respect she shows to customers( indians) is no more with her. This review is not to blame her, but i hope after this review we will also get that same respect as others.

The food was good, Loved the Chicken and Shrimp fried rice. Spice levels were really good, I love my food to be burning and it was just like that. Ambiance was good too, you could observe different portraits and paintings of Thai culture. Service was really bad tho, the lady didn't seem to care for the customers at all. She was not even offering water and cutlery, she threw the menu on the table rather than handing them gently. She was also not listening while ordering and seemed frustrated with us. The reason I'm even giving 3 stars is because of the food taste, or else this place deserves 1 or 2 stars just because of the poor service they offer.

Just had their chicken pho and it was so good. There was a miscommunication between myself and the woman that took my order (I assume she's the owner) she heard me say beef pho but we wanted chicken. I apologized for the confusion and she replaced it with chicken without any fuss. Having had their chicken pho I'm definitely going to try the beef. Their curry is fantastic! The pad Thai is a little lacking. Like it just needs to a little more sauce and needs to be cooked a bit longer. Haven't had much else but what I've had has been good so far. I'm definitely going to keep coming back.

Very warming environment, food is always cooked with tlc, the pho' perfect to warm a cooling soul, Tom Yung Goo the most flavorful in my eyes, shrimp spring roll so fresh, orange chicken has a delicious fried outside no other orange chicken like it, all staff here is so sweet and kind, I eat here weekly! Our most favorite place for lunch in Charleston! Food is delish, and it's possible for me to eat healthy and stay within my restrictions. (This is very difficult to do at most other places). The owner is so pleasant and friendly, making everyone feel welcome and at home. The place is very clean and bright with large windows that let in the light.

Fantastic authentic food, it's as good as it gets.

I was there when they first opened up years ago. This sweet older lady was so kind to us we decided to come back again and again. Once she recommended these wings for the Super Bowl party we had so we came back and ordered them and holy cow they were amazing. Easily one of my favorite memories of college.

I looove love this place. It really is my favorite Thai restaurant. It's authentic!! The only thing is, it seems most of time we go there, they are close. But I won't knock a star for that... The food is 20/5 stars :). In fact... I will go there soon. Lol.

I went there by myself when I was an RA in stevenson hall and stayed there during the winter break when the EIU cafeterias were all closed. I went to Siam Thai often. She always welcomed me and made the best beef fried rice. Also, I went there with my parent from Korea for lunch on the graduation day.

I legitimately cannot get enough of this place. I've lived in Charleston for five years and this has been a little slice of heaven.

I recommend the chicken satay, the chicken fried rice, and the egg rolls.

Love their food! The parking lot is super tiny and hard to navigate a large vehicle, but they don't control that.

Just okay. Prices are reasonable and the serving size is huge, but the food is just mediocre. Not bad by any means, just not what I expected. The green tofu curry was too thick and sweet, almost a pudding consistency. Did not have the level of spice which a good Thai curry requires. My dinner guest said his fried rice was very good. We both enjoyed the spring rolls.

We only visit this restaurant a when at sporting events at EIU. It is a great spot to stop in for some outstanding Thai cuisine. I had the Pineapple Fried Rice ..... Delicious. I also snuck in a bite of my wife's Pad Thai .... Also delicious. Definitely worth the time every time!

When you come back here over and over again you feel like you're at home.
